        퍼머넌트와 염색 연결시술시 정향트리트먼트 적용시점에 따른 모발보호효과

        This study attempted to determine the effects of hair protection by investigating the characteristics and possibilities of hair cosmetics using the hot water extracts of Syzygium aromaticum and then hair-protection effects were confirmed through pre-treatment and post-treatment at consecutive chemical treatments. At the consecutive chemical treatments, the general treatment was divided into pretreatment(N1) and general treatment post-process(N2). Then, the Syzygium aromaticum-based treatment was divided into pre-treatment(J1) and post processing(J2). According to the analysis, tensile strength was the highest in the Syzygium aromaticum extract treatment group. At consecutive treatments, ‘J2’ which processed treatment for Syzygium aromaticum, was the highest. In terms of hair thickness, the Syzygium aromaticum group was greater than the general treatment group. When measured to determine the morphological characteristics of ‘Hair’ at 20,000 magnifications using SEM, the Syzygium aromaticum extract post-treatment group (J2) revealed the highest value (373.98±10.83㎚). Regarding hair composition under the EDS, Syzygium aromaticum extract post-treatment group was the highest with 07.77% interms of sulfur content. The results confirmed that Syzygium aromaticum extract treatment is extremely effective in easing hair damage which is caused by consecutive dyeing after permanent. Therefore, the Syzygium aromaticum extract treatment would be effective in preventing hair damage and keeping hair healthy and glossy.

        Bacillus cereus KCTC 3674 produced at least two kinds of extracellular proteases. Two major bands of the protease activity with molecular weights of approximately 100 and 38 kDa were obtained after gelatin-SDS-PAGE. The production of extracellular proteases occurred during the logarithmic growth phase and was greatest when cultures reached the stationary growth phase. On the other hand, the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular proteases were severely inhibited by the addition of protonophore carbonylcyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP). Thus, it was concluded that the growth of B. cereus KCTC 3674 and the production of its extracellular pretenses were strongly affected by a H+ electrochemical potential.

Proceedings of International Symposium on East-West Medicine, Seoul. 201-211, 1999. -Nephroprotective effects of a crude drug-prearation (E-kong-san) were determined from cisplatin on rabbit kidney proximal tubule and human renal cortical cells by MTT assays and sustained glucose consumption on ciplatin-induced human renal cortical tissue. Levels of creatinine and blood ure nitrogen(BUN) in serum after administration of cisplatin(0.75mg/kg,i.p.) to E-kong-san(0.75g/kg/day,p.o.)-pretreated rats were markedly lower compared to those of cisplatin-treated rats. Moreover, the administration of E-kong-san significantly inhibited the loss of body weight of cisplatin injected rts. These findings suggest that E-kong-san on the cisplatin induced nephrotoxicity led us to investigate whether the effect of this water extract was a result of anti-oxidation. E-kong-san showed strong free radical scavenger activities on 1,1-dipheny1-2picrylhydrazil(DPPH) radical and xanthine/xanthine oxidase(XOD) generated superoxide anion radical(O2-). We further studied the effects of E-kong-san on lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsomes induced by enzymatic and nonenzymatic methods. E-kong-san exhibited significant inhibition on both ascorbic acid/Fe2+and ADP/NADPH/Fe3+ induced lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsomes. Based on these results, we suggest that-E-kong-san attenuate the cisplatin induced cytotoxicity and its mechanism can be eplained by antioxidant.

      • 집속형 레이저 유도 초음파를 이용한 박판에서의 결함 검출

        An are array slit is used for generating the focused Lamb wave by laser, where spatially expanded Nd:YAG pulse laser is illuminated through the are array slit on the surface of a sample plate to generate the Lamb wave of the same pattern as the slit. Then the generated Lamb wave is focused at the focal point of which distance from the slit position is dependent on the curvature of slit arc. The focusing effect enables to acquire higher intensity of wave at the focus, better SNR in the received signal, and improved spatial resolution than when we use the conventional line array slit. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed method, experiments is carried out for the detection of the artificial linear and circular defects on a thin aluminum plate and proposed quantitative analysis of the defect size.

      • 이공산(異功散)의 in vitro에서 Cisplatin 유도 신장독성의 감소 효과

        In vitro model systems are increasingly used to investigate the mechanism of chemical-induced toxicity and for toxicological screening of new drug families. The effect of Ekongsan on the cytotoxicity induced by cisplatin on human and rabbit kidney cells was evaluated by tetrazolium-dye(MTT) assay. On the basis of Cl_50 value, cisplatin-induced cytotoxicity on human renal cortical cells was increased depend on concentration, whereas Ekongsan alone did not influence Simultaneous administration of cisplatin and Ekongsan, cytotoxicity of cisplain was reduced depend on the concentration of Ekongsan. With primary cultured proximal tubule cells results to reduce the cisplatin induced-cytotoxicity by Ekongsan was comparable to those with renal cortical cells. Based on these results, Ekongsan may has the potency to protect the nephrotoxicity induced by cisplatin.

        유비쿼터스 시대의 컴퓨팅은 사용자의 의향과 상황을 인지해 동적으로 목표를 설정하고 자동으로 협력해 목표를 달성하게 된다. 앞으로 곧 다가올 새로운 컴퓨팅 환경에서 주된 역할을 하게 될 개체인 에이전트와 이들이 상호 협력하는 기반구조인 다중 에이전트 시스템에 관하여 활발히 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 연구는 uT 컴퓨팅 환경에서 응용될 수 있는 에이전트 시스템의 적용 사례들을 분석하고 기존 연구의 방향, 목적, 장단점을 파악하여 앞으로의 에이전트 연구에 도움이 될 수 있는 기술적 근거를 조사하고 uT 컴퓨팅 환경에서 다중 에이전트 시스템 설계를 위한 방법론을 모색한다. Computing in ubiquitous era introduces that a goal is dynamically set by recognizing user's intention and situational information and that the goal is achieved better through collaborative wok by different components. Agents are the components that take critical roles in the new computing era, the study of multi-agent systems, that is, working through interaction and collaboration among agents is actively pursued along with the current demand. Our work focuses on the case studies of multi-agent system applications in ubiquitous computing environment. The study of the analysis enables us to extract rational direction of multi-agent system research in the future and the methodology of developing multi-agent system in ubiquitous computing environment.

      • Diazepam의 腸管運動 抑制機轉에 關한 硏究

        In order to investigate the mechanism of depression of intestinal motility with diazepam, the influences of metabolic substrates on the motility of isolated rabbit doudenum depressed with diazepam were observed. The following results were obtained; 1. motility of isolated duodenum was depressed about 40% with 0.3mM diazepam, as compared with the control. 3. Pyruvate, at concentration of 10nM, remarkably restored the motility of the duodenum depressed with diazepam in normal tyrode medium or glucose-free medium. 4. Acetate, at concentration of 10mM, also produced significant recovery of the motility of the diazepam-depressed duodenum in normal tyrode medium of blucose-free medium. 5. Fructose, at concentration of 30mM, showed little effect on the motility of the diazepam-depressed duodenum in normal tyrode medium or glucos-free medium. 6. The motility of the diazepam-depressed duodenum in the normal tyrode medium or glucose-free medium was little regained with glucose at concentration of 30mM 7. Pyruvate (10mM), acetate (10mM), fructose (30mM) and glucose (30mM) had no significant effects on the motility of the isolated control duodenum. It is concluded from the results that the glycolysis in the intestinal smooth muscle might be inhibited with diazepam and then the inhibited glycolysis might have depressed the motility of isolated rabbit-duodenum.

      • Silymarin이 ethionine 中毒家兎의 肝代謝機能에 미치는 影響

        The silymarin is antihepatotoxic component isolated from the fruit of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. (Carduus marianus L.). This substance is comprised mainly of three isomers; silybin, silydianin and silychristin. This studies were undertaken in an attempt to investigate the effects of silymarin on protein and lipid metabolism, and activities of liver sepecific enzymes (GPT, GOT and alkaline phosphatase) in serum of ethionine intoxicated rabbits. The experimental animals were divided into two groups and treated as follow: The 1st group was administered ethionine (100㎎/㎏/day, s.c.)alone for 3 days; the 2nd group was administered ethionine and silymarin (100㎎/㎏/day, s.c.) simultaneously for 3 days, and then silymarin was alone administered for 9 days. The following results were obtained: Serum total protein of ethionine alone administered rabbits were increased temporarily after 3 days, and then were reduced after 6th day. Both the total cholesterol and triglyceride in serum were decreased markedly for 3 days after the administration of ethionine. and then were increased significantly after 12 days. 3) The group, administered ethionine alone, showed markedly increase of the transaminase (GPT, GOT) and alkaline phosphatase activities. 4) In the group which were administered ethionine and silymarin simultaneously, the serum total protein content showed no changes. 5) The silymarin showed significant inhibition of the increasing Lipid by the administration of ethionine, and the lipid contents were returned to the control level after 12days. 6) Elevatory action on activities of liver specific enzymes of ethionine were inhibited significantly by the administration of silymarin for 12 days. 7) It is concluded that the antihepatotoxic effects of silymarin against the ethionine seems to accelerate protein and lipid metabolism, inhibit lipid deposition, and reduce liver specific enzyme activities.

      • 유기주석 노출에 의한 Mysid, Neomysis awatschensis의 독성 영향

        Tests for the toxicity of tributyltin (TBT) were conducted on mysid collected from Dadepo beach, Pusan, Korea. The toxic effects of tributyltin on the survival, growth and oxygen consumption of the mysid, Neomysis awatschensis have been evaluated. Mysids were exposed to several concentrations of TBT (0, 0.56, 1.15, 3.07 and 6.12 ㎍/L) for 6 weeks. Survival rate was decreased with increases in concentration and exposure time and the reduction of more than 40% occurred at TBT concentration greater than 1.15 ㎍/L after 6 weeks. Growth rate was significantly decreased at concentrations greater than 1.15 ㎍/L Oxygen consumption rate was also decreased in a concentration-dependent way and significantly decreased to 39, 47 and 69% of the control at 1. 15, 3.07 and 6.12 ㎍/L, respectively. These results indicate that the contamination of aquatic environment by TBT has the potential to significantly reduce coastal and estuaries recruitment of mysid.
