      • 스프레이 菊花의 왕겨경 循環式 養液栽培에서 養液의 濃度 및 供給回數의 영향

        본 실험은 스프레이 국화 왕겨 배지를 이용한 순환식 양액재배에 있어서 양액의 적정농도와 공급횟수를 구명하고자 실시한 결과 양액 농도 처리에서는 원시표준액의 1.6배 처리구가 초장, 화경장, 경경, 화경수, 엽장, 엽폭, 절화중에서 가장 양호하였고, 1일 공급횟수는 표준농도(1.0배)는 12회가 좋았고 1.3배와1.6배 처리구에서는 6회공급구에서 절화품질이 좋았다. 양액농도별 개화기는 표준농도에 비해 1.3배는 2일, 1.6배 처리구는 3일정도 지연되었다. 양액 농도별 T-N함량은 1.3배 농도에서 많았고 양이온치환용량은 농도가 높은 1.6배 농도에서 높았으며 양액 농도별 엽록소 함량은 1.0배 농도에서 가장 높았다. This experiment was conducted to determine the optimal ionic strength of nutrient solution and fertigation frequency affecting growth and development of spray chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum) in recycling system using rice hull. Growth parameters in terms of plant height, flowers diameter, stem diameter, number of flowers, leaf length and width and flower weight were shown better in thd 1.6 ionic strength of nutrient solution than those of 1.0 ionic strength of nutrient solution. Fertigation frequency was good at 12 times during day and night in the standard solution (1.0 ionic strength) while 6 times per day and night were good in both 1.3 and 1.6 strength of nutrient solution. Flowering time was postponed up to 2 day in the treatment of 1.3 ionic strength of nutrient solution, and 3 day in 1.6 ionic strength of nutrient solution. The content of total nitrogen was higher in the 1.3 ionic strength of nutrient solution. Cation exchange capacity was high in the 1.6 ionic strength of nutrient solution and chlorophyll content by the concentrations of nutrient solution was highest in the standard nutrient solution.

      • 食用油脂類에 對한 免疫生物學的 硏究

        食用油脂는 健康維持에 必須的인 營養素이다. 그러나 食用油脂는 脂肪을 構成하는 脂肪酸의 種類와 攝取하는 量에 따라 健康을 保衛하는 必須的인 食品의 成分이 되기도 하고 有害한 影響을 끼칠 수도 있어서 脂質代謝와 關連된 疾病 뿐만아니라 老化를 促進하고, 乳房癌, 大腸癌等의 癌發生과도 關連된 것으로 밝혀져 있다. 本 硏究는 우리生活環境에서 食用으로 接할 수 있는 10種의 油脂에 對한 免疫生物學的인 活性에서 究明한 結果 對照群인 참기름食餌群에 比해 올리브유食用群은 全般的으로 體液性 및 細胞性免疫을 有意性있게 增加시켰으나, 大食細胞의 活性과 末梢循環白血球數는 有意性없는 減少를 보였고, 動物性 油脂인 牛脂食餌群과 植物性 油脂인 옥수수기름食餌群, 들기름食餌群, 米糠油食餌群, 大豆油食餌群, 菜種油食餌群 및 고추씨기름食餌群에서는 全般的으로 體液性 및 細胞性免疫, 大食細胞의 活性 및 末梢循環白血球數를 有意性있게 減少시켰다. This study was performed to investigate the effects of edible oils and fats on the immunobiological responses in ICR male mice. Ten groups of experimental diets, such as sesame oil diet, beef tallow diet, lard oil diet, olive oil diet, corn oil diet, perilla oil diet, rice polishing oil diet, soybeen oil diet, rape seed oil diet, and red pepper seed oil diet were fed adlibitum to the ICR male mice for 27 days. The results of this study were summarized as followings. 1. Both humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocyte activity, and number of leukocytes in sesame oil group were increased. However, the increasing rate of body weight and the weight retios of spleen and thymus to body were generally decreased. 2. Hemagglutination titer(HA) and rosette forming cell(RFC) of the beef tallow group and the lard group were significantly lower than the sesame oil group(P<0.01), but the lard group significantly increased Arthus reaction and delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH)(P<0.01). 3. Arthus reaction, DTH, and RFC of the olive oil group were significantly higher than the sesame oil group(P<0.01). 4. DTH of the corn oil group was significantly higher than the sesame oil group(P<0.01) whereas phagochyte activity was significantly lower(P<0.01). But no statistically significant differences were found between the two groups in the humoral immune response. 5. HA, PFC, DTH, RFC, phagocyte activity, and number of leukocytes of the perilla oil group and the rice polishing oil group were significantly lower than the sesame oil group(P<0.01). 6. Both humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocyte activity, and number of leukocytes of the soybeen oil group, the rape seed oil group, and the red pepper oil group were significantly lower than the sesame oil group(P<0.01).

      • Berberine의 항생제 내성 황색포도구균에 대한 항미생물 효과

        Antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) emerged in many parts of the world and increased complex clinical problems. Therefore, new agents are needed to treat to antibiotic-resistant S. aureus. Some natural products are candidates of new antibotic substances. Previous reports showed that the extract of Coptidis Rhizoma and Phellodendri Cortex have antimicrobial effects. The main antibacterial substance of Coptidis Rhizoma and Phellodendri Cortex is berberine. In this study, we examined the antimicrobial activity of berberine to antibiotic-resistant S. aureus. We isolated the 13 strains of antibiotic-resistant S. aureus from the oral cavity of healthy children in a preschool, and investigated the antimicrobial activity of berberine. We examined the effects of berberine on the level of resistance to antibiotic-resistant S. aureus. We observed that the invasion of S. aureus into human gingival fibroblasts was blocked by berberine. Berberine inhibited the growth of antibiotic-resistant. S. aureus as a dose dependent maner. Minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) of berberine against antibiotic-resistant S. aureus was 50-100 ㎍/ml. The inhibition of S. aureus invasion was depended on the concentration of berberine in human gingival fibroblasts. The MIC of ampicillin against antibiotic-resistant S. aureus was 32 ㎍/ml. However, the MIC of ampicillin against antibiotic-resitant S. aureus in the presence of 50 ㎍/ml berberine was 1 ㎍/ml. These data indicate that the combination with berberine and β-lactam antibiotics resulted in the synergistic reaction. These results suggest that the berberine may have the antimicrobial activities to antibiotic-resistant. S. aureus, and the mechanism may be the inhibition of growth and intracellular invasion. and alteration of antibiotic-resistance level of antibiotic-resistant S. aureus.

        골프장의 잔디 토양에서 살균제 Tolclofosmethyl의 분해

        Tolclofosmethyl (TCFM) is heavily and annually applied to the turf soils of most golf courses in Gyeongju to control the fungi known to cause the disease brown patch. The soil samples used for the experiment was collected three weeks after the annual application at the end of May in the year 2002. The preliminary results obtained from this study demonstrated that the repeated field annual applications of TCFM to the turf soils of a golf course located in Gyeongju city in the southern area of Korea showed the enhanced degradation of the parent compound TCFM, especially in the surface (0~15 cm) soil rather than the shallow subsurface (15~30 cm) and deep subsurface (30~45 cm) soils, compared to the corresponding surface (0~15 cm) and shallow and deep subsurface (15~30 cm and 30~45 cm) soils of the untreated plot. It appears that microorganisms in the soil may be involved in the enhanced degradation of TCFM.

        마우스에 있어서 Olive Oil의 食餌가 免疫反應에 미치는 影響

        This study was performed to investigate the effect of olive oil diet on the immune response in ICR male mice. Experimental diets of 4 groups were fed ad libitum to the ICR male mice for 27 days. The results of this study were summarized as followings: 1. 10% Olive oil diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly decreased liver weight rate but significantly increased hemagglutination titer (HA), Arthus reaction, delayed type hypersensitivity reaction (DTH), rosette forming cell (RFC), and phagocyte activity. 2. 20% Olive oil diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly increased body weight gain, liver weight rate, and HA but significantly decreased Arthus reaction, DTH, RFC, phagocyte activity, and peripheral circulating white blood cell (WBC). 3. 30% Olive oil diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly increased liver weight rate but significantly decreased body weight gain, Arthus reaction, plaque forming cell (PFC), DTH, RFC, phagocyte activity, and WBC. The results showed that the increase of olive oil doses significantly decreased humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocyte activity, and WBC.

      • 2-(N, N- dimethylamino) phenyl triisopropoxy titanium 화합물의 카르보닐 화합물에 대한 첨가 반응 연구

        카르보음이온 화학은 탄소-탄소 결합을 형성하는 유기합성분야에서 가장 중요한 부분중의 하나이다. 고전적인 카르보음이온, 예를들어 알킬리튬 또는 Grignard시약은 카르보닐 화합물에 대해 높은 반응성을 나타내는 반면 낮은 선택성을 갖는다. 반면에 RTiX₃(R=methyl, allyl)로 표현되는 유기티타늄 화합물은 카르보닐 화합물에 대해 화학적이고 입체적인 선택성이 높은 것으로 알려졌다. 본 연구에서는 2-(N, N-dimethylamino phenyl) triisopropoxy titanium을 합성하여 이것의 카르보닐 화합물에 대한 반응성을 본 결과 다른 유기티타늄 화합물과 같이 알데히드 화합물에 선택적인 반응성을 나타내는 것을 알수있었다. Carbanion chemistry is one of the most important field in organic synthesis, expecially for the formation of C-C bond. Though the classical carbanions, for example alkyllithium or Grignard reagent, Show high reactivity for the carbonyl compounds, but they react with low selectivity. On the other hand, it is well known that organotitanium compounds generally expressed as RTiX₃(R=methyl, allyl) have high chemo-and stereoselectivity. In this study 2-(N, N-dimethylamino phenyl) triisopropoxy titanium was prepared in situ from 2-(N, N-dimethylamino) phenyllithium and chloridetriisopropoxytitanium and was added to carbonyl compounds in order to investigate its reactivity. As a result this reagent was proved to have the same aldehyde reactivity as the other organotitanium compounds.

      • 카르보닐화합물에 대한 유기티타늄화합물의 화학선택성에 대한 연구

        카르보음이온 화학은 탄소-탄소 결합을 형성하는 유기합성분야에서 가장 중요한 부분중의 하나이다. 고전적인 카르보음이온, 예를 들어 알킬리튬 또는 Grignard 시약은 카르보닐화합물에 대해 높은 반응성을 나타내는 반면 낮은 선택성을 갖는다. 반면에 RTiX3로 표현되는 유기티타늄 화합물은 카르보닐 화합물에 대해 화학적이고 입체적인 선택성이 높은 것으로 알려졌다. 본 연구에서는 trichlorophenyltitanium을 합성하여 이것의 카르보닐 화합물에 대한 반응성을 본 결과 다른 유기티타늄 화합물과 같이 알데히드 화합물에 선택적인 반응성을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다.       • 운동 중 지방 대사에 대한 고찰

        Glucose-fatty acid cycle is very important because it explains that fatty acid influences glucose level. Glucose-fatty acid cycle is the key factor to understand how endurance training which aids fat oxidation and carbohydrate stored in skeletal muscle influence mitochondria level. However, it is not certain whether glucose-fatty acid cycle influences exercising skeletal muscle of human being. As an energy resource, training increases use of fatty acid, endurance ability, and oxidation of triglyceride. During high level training, catecholamine secretions and restraint of fatty acid use caused by insulin increases dramatically, this results in reduction of free fat acids and reunification of free fat acids into triglyceride. Training restrains insulin activity and reduces plasma acid density, however, elite athletes have high triglyceride-fatty acid cycle. Although enzyme's activities and mitochondira's density increase after training, it's not certain that enzyme's activities is major factor in restraint of fatty acid oxidation in exercising muscle cells. Stores of fat leads to increases of fat oxidation, performance and reduces use of carbohydrate, however, there is no absolute evidence to support these results.

      • 섬유판에서 음향방출원의 위치표정

        음향방출 신호를 이용하여 목재 섬유판(fiberboards)의 위치표정의 유용성 유무를 실험적으로 검증하였다. 위치표정의 정확도를 향상하기 위해 신호처리 방법중의 하나인 웨이블릿 변환 디노이징 기법을 활용하여 저주파수인 대칭모드(굽힘파)를 활용하고, 고주파수인 비대칭 모드(팽창파)룰 제거하여 신호를 재구성함으로써 섬유판의 위치표정시 문턱값 통과방법을 사용할 때 발생하는 도달시간차를 최소화 할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 디노이징 기법을 활용한 섬유판의 위치 표정과 굽힘강도에 대한 사상총수를 기초로 하여 목재 구조물 및 문화재의 건전성을 평가 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
