        한국판 초등학생용 조절초점 척도 타당화 연구

        본 연구는 Higgins, Friedman, Harlow, Idson, Ayduk과 Taylor(2001)가 개발한 조절초점 검사도구(Regulatory Focus Scale; RFS)를 한국판 초등학생용 조절초점 검사도구로 타당화 하기 위하여 수행되었다. 부산 및 경남 지역에 소재하는 초등학교 5, 6학년 재학생 750명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 하여 665명의 유의미한 자료를 수집하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문가 참여를 통해 감수 및 문항을 번역하였으며, 초등학생을 대상으로 예비조사를 통해 내용 타당도를 확보하였다. 둘째, 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 한국판 초등학생용 조절초점 검사는 향상초점과 예방초점으로 구성되는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 조절초점 척도의 모형 적합도 지수는 적절한 수준인 것으로 나타나 본 척도의 구성 타당도를 확인하였다. 넷째, 조절초점과 성취동기, 행동활성화 간의 상관을 살펴본 결과, 조절초점은 성취동기, 행동활성화와 유의미한 정적·부적 상관을 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 본 척도의 수렴 및 변별 타당도를 확인하였다. 다섯째, 검사 및 재검사를 통해 타당화된 조절초점 척도의 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 양호한 수준임을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 한국판 초등학생용 조절초점 검사 도구가 학업 및 진로에 관한 조절전략을 파악하는데 기여할 수 있음을 보여주었다. 향후 동기 조절 전략을 다르게 사용하는 초등학생의 특성을 연구하는데 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to validate and verify the Regulatory Focus Scale (RFS) developed by Higgins, Friedman, Harlow, Idson, Ayduk, and Taylor(2001) for Korean elementary school students. The final data were collected by using online questionnaires targeting 665 elementary school students in the Busan and Gyeongnam area. The results of the study are as follows. First, question items were examined and translated by professionals. Then, the content validity were verified through a pilot test among elementary students. Second, by the means of exploratory factor analysis, it was confirmed that the RFS consisted of promotion and prevention focus. Third, as a result of confirmatory factor analysis, the model fit index of the RFS was shown to be at an appropriate level, therefore it was possible to reaffirm the construct validity of scale. Fourth, the RF was found to have a significant positive and negative correlations with the two concepts in examining the correlation among the RF, AM and BAS. Based on this, the convergent and discriminant validity related to the criteria of these scales were confirmed. Finally, after executing test-retest, it was confirmed that the internal consistency of RFS was good. The present study demonstrated that the Korean version of the RFS contributed to understanding the regulatory strategies in academic and career path. It is expected that this study will be used as basic data to study the characteristics of elementary school students who utilize motivation regulation strategies differently.

        초등학교 6학년 학생이 지각한 자아존중감, 학습전략, 학교적응, 자기주도학습 간의 구조적 관계

        본 연구는 초등학교 6학년 학생의 자아존중감과 자기주도학습의 관계에서 학습전략과 학교적응의 구조적 관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 부산광역시 교육정책연구소의 종단연구 3차년도 패널 자료를 이용하였다. 본 패널 자료는 2018학년도 7월부터 부산광역시 교육청 산하 5개 교육 지원청의 67개 초등학교 6학년 대상으로 이루어 졌으며, 총 2,845명의 자료를 수집하였다. 이중 결측치가 포함된 160명의 자료를 제외한 2,685명의 설문 결과를 최종 연구 결과 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 모형 분석을 위해 구조방정식 모델링을 적용하였고, 매개효과 분석을 위해 Bootstrapping-test를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아존중감, 학습전략, 학교적응, 자기주도학습은 모두 정적인 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감과 자기주도학습의 관계에서 학습전략과 학교적응은 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 초등학교 6학년 학생의 자기주도학습 향상에 자아존중감, 학습전략과 학교적응을 강조하고, 이에 따른 교육적 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of learning strategy, school adaptation between the self-esteem and self-directed learning among the 6th grade students in elementary school. For this research, the study used a questionnaire survey from Panel Study on Busan Education longitudinal study targeting 2,685 elementary school students from the city of Busan. By means of the two step approach using the structural equation SPSS 21.0 and Amos 20.0, a confirmatory factor analysis was used to determine whether the measurement variables adequately identified the potential variables and the suitability and significance of the path throughout the subsequent study model. The findings derived from the analyzed data are as follows: Firstly, the relationship among self-esteem, learning strategy and school adaptation, self-directed learning showed significant variables. Second, if the self esteem had a direct impact on self-directed learning, then learning strategy and school adaptation as the mediators were influenced. As a result, this study showed that it is vital for the 6<sup>th</sup> grade students in elementary school to develop their self-esteem in order for self-directed learning to occur. A good learning strategy and school adaptation are also important. Based on this, the limitations and suggestions for further research were presented.

        Systematic Literature Review of the Urological Field and Considerations in COVID-19

        Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a worldwide pandemic in March 2020 after originating in China. Widespread uncertainty resulting from the pandemic has revolutionized urology practice worldwide, similar to that observed in other fields. The urological manifestations of COVID-19 were investigated by performing a literature search using a combination of keywords related to COVID-19 and urology. To date, COVID-19 has not been associated with any lower urinary tract symptoms, and there is no level 1 evidence that associates it with urinary malignancy and urolithiasis. Viral RNA has been detected in urine (5.74%), but there is no evidence of actual infection via urine. COVID-19 has transformed the standard urological practice into crisis-based care and has changed the medical and surgical priorities dramatically in the field. Most hospitals have established quarantine guidelines for each hospital, and procedures must be performed according to the present circumstances. Furthermore, in the absence of high-level evidence, specific efforts are needed to minimize the risk of COVID-19 infections during care.

        Pd catalyst supported on SiO2–Al2O3 xerogel for hydrocracking of paraffin wax to middle distillate

        SiO2–Al2O3 xerogel supports (SA-X) with different SiO2 contents (X, wt%) were prepared by a sol–gel method. Pd catalysts supported on SA-X (Pd/SA-X) were then prepared by an impregnation method for use in the production ofmiddle distillate (C10–C20) through hydrocracking of paraffin wax. Acidity of Pd/SA-X catalysts determined by NH3-TPD experiments showed a volcano-shaped trend with respect to SiO2content. Acidity of the catalyst played an important role in determining the catalytic performance in the hydrocracking of paraffin wax. Conversion of paraffin wax increased with increasing acidity of the catalyst, while yield for middle distillate showed a volcano-shaped curve with respect to acidity of the catalyst. This indicates that optimal acidity of the catalyst was required for maximum production of middle distillate. Among the catalyst tested, Pd/SA-40 catalyst with moderate acidity showed the highest yield for middle distillate. It was also found that high Pd dispersion of Pd/SA-X catalyst led to the enhanced selectivity for middle distillate in the hydrocracking of paraffin wax.

        A 10-b 500 MS/s CMOS Folding A/D Converter with a Hybrid Calibration and a Novel Digital Error Correction Logic

        A 10-b 500 MS/s A/D converter (ADC) with a hybrid calibration and error correction logic is described. The ADC employs a single-channel cascaded folding-interpolating architecture whose folding rate (FR) is 25 and interpolation rate (IR) is 8. To overcome the disadvantage of an offset error, we propose a hybrid self-calibration circuit at the open-loop amplifier. Further, a novel prevision digital error correction logic (DCL) for the folding ADC is also proposed. The ADC prototype using a 130 ㎚ 1P6M CMOS has a DNL of ±0.8 LSB and an INL of ±1.0 LSB. The measured SNDR is 52.34-㏈ and SFDR is 62.04-㏈c when the input frequency is 78.15 ㎒ at 500 MS/s conversion rate. The SNDR of the ADC is 7-㏈ higher than the same circuit without the proposed calibration. The effective chip area is 1.55 ㎟, and the power dissipates 300 ㎽ including peripheral circuits, at a 1.2/1.5 V power supply.

        Effects of burner type on a bench-scale entrained flow gasifier and conceptual modeling of the system with Aspen Plus

        The integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) system is well known for its high efficiency compared with that of other coal fueled power generating systems. In this study, gasification using different types of burners with different oxygen supply angles in a bench-scale entrained flow gasifier was investigated. The effects of the oxygen gas supply angle of the coal burner and resulting oxygen supply location in the gasifier on the syngas composition and temperature of the gasifier were experimentally examined. These changes had a significant influence on the syngas composition of the final stream, carbon conversion, and efficiencies. According to the experimental results, the models using the Aspen Plus process simulator were positioned to define the effects of the experimental parameters and to find the optimum operating conditions in the bench gasifier facility.

        Comprehensive Review of COVID-19 on Benign Prostate Hyperplasia Patient Symptoms

        Since the outbreak of the global Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in 2019, the number of confirmed cases has increased steadily worldwide. The most common symptom of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) is respiratory symptoms. On the other hand, increased voiding frequency and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) have also been reported. Regarding the relationship between LUTS and COVID-19, only small size (n<100) retrospective studies have been reported, but the post-International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) increases compared to pre-IPSS after a COVID-19 infection in those older than 50 years. α-blockers and phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors are relatively safe, but there are conflicting reports on 5α-reductase inhibitors; hence, further research is needed. Four major theories have been argued regarding the relationship between LUTS and COVID-19: renin-angiotensin system-related, androgen-related, inflammation-related, and metabolic derangement-related. In conclusion, elderly male patients often have benign prostate hyperplasia as a co-morbidity, and the severity of COVID-19 is high in this group. Therefore, voiding symptoms in these patient groups is of particular concern.

        Production of middle distillate through hydrocracking of paraffin wax over Pd/SiO2–Al2O3 catalysts

        Pd/SiO2–Al2O3 catalysts (Pd/SA-X) with different SiO2 contents (X, wt%) were prepared for use in the production of middle distillate (C10–C20) through hydrocracking of paraffin wax. High surface area and well-developed mesopores of Pd/SA-X catalysts improved the dispersion of Pd species on the SiO2–Al2O3 support. Acidity of Pd/SA-X catalysts determined by NH3-TPD experiments showed a volcano-shaped trend with respect to SiO2 content. Conversion of paraffin wax increased with increasing acidity of the catalyst, while selectivity for middle distillate decreased with increasing acidity of the catalyst. Yield for middle distillate showeda volcano-shaped curve with respect to acidity of the catalyst. This indicates that acidity of Pd/SA-X catalysts played an important role in determining the catalytic performance in the hydrocraking of paraffin wax.         Prognostic Significance of Systemic Inflammatory Response in Patients with Synchronous and Metachronous Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma Receiving First-Line Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors

        Purpose: To determine whether systemic inflammatory response (SIR), particularly platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), has different prognostic role between patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) receiving first-line tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI). Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 547 patients with mRCC who were diagnosed and treated with a first-line TKI between 2007 and 2015. The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS) and secondary endpoint was progression-free survival (PFS). We evaluated differences in survival outcomes according to SIR and identified predictors of OS and PFS. Results: In synchronous mRCC, patients with a higher PLR had significantly worse OS and PFS. Moreover, a higher NLR was also associated with both worse OS and PFS in these patients. However, PLR was not associated with either OS or PFS in metachronous mRCC patients. While metachronous mRCC patients with a higher NLR had worse OS compared to those with lower NLR, there was no difference in PFS according to the status of NLR. On multivariate analysis, PLR was identified as predictive factor for OS (hazard ratio [HR], 1.55) as well as PFS (HR, 1.39) in patients with synchronous mRCC, but not in patients with metachronous mRCC. Additionally, higher NLR was also remained as predictive factor of both OS (HR, 1.83) and PFS (HR, 1.57) in patients with synchronous mRCC. Conclusions: Our study indicates that simple biomarkers of SIR, particularly PLR and NLR, can be more useful predictors of survival outcomes in patients with synchronous mRCC rather than metachronous mRCC.
