        The purpose of this study were to investigate the effects of participation of health program on health related physical fitness and blood lipids in olderwomen. The subjects participated in this study were 52 older who were participated physical activity program in Korean National University of Physical Education. The analysis of this study utilized one way ANOVA design. The results of the study were as follows : 1. According to taking the treatment periods(0, 6, 12), body composition, hand grip, sit and reach, sit up, and 3200m walking were no significant difference. 3. According to taking the treatment periods(0, 6, 12), TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C and VLDL-C were a significant difference in p<.001 levels.

      • 龍溪山 山火跡地의 東 ·西 ·南 ·北 斜面 植被의 比校硏究

        本 調査 硏究는 龍溪山 山火跡地의 東·西·南·北 斜面에서 植被의 性狀과 土壤條件과의 關係를 檢討한 結果로서 다음과 같다. 全 調査地所에서의 構成種은 木本 23種, 草本40種이고 Biological type은 H-D₁-??-e로서 北斜面에서 種數가 많았다. 優占種 順位는 東斜面이 개밀((SDR₄:83.33),김의털(SDR₄:57.43)-털진달래(SDR₄:66.30) 감찰나무(SDR₄:57.90)順이고, 西斜面은 억새(SDR₄:80.0), 김의털(SDR₄78.0)-반들진달래 (SDR₄:86.48), 졸참나무(SDR₄:56.83)順位이다. 그리고 南斜面은 억새(SDR₄:80.96), 고사리(SDR₄:63.24)- 털진달래(SDR₄:76.51), 졸참나무(SDR₄:75.42)順位이고 北斜面은 억새(SDR₄:78.55), 김의털(SDR₄:58.80)-졸참나무(SDR₄:78.41), 조록싸리(SDR₄:49.91)順位 이었다. 群落構造는 東·西斜面에서 소나무와 리기다소나무가 出現하였고, 北斜面은 種數는 많았으나 矮小하였다. 遷移度와 種의 多樣度는 北斜面이 各各 DS=913,55, ??:1.1437로 높았고, 均等性 指數는 東面이 e=0.4346으로 가장 낮았다. 土壤性質은 土壤內의 pH, Orgaric matter, N, P, K, Ca함량은 0∼5㎝層이 6∼30㎝層보다 比較的 높게 나타내고 있어 斜面別 植被에 影響을 주는 直接的인 要因은 Humus의 差異라고 보며, 소나무 林地는 山火後 植生回復이 늦어지고 種類組成이 貧弱하며 荒廢化되기 쉬운 原因은 Allelophathy와 土壤微生物인 菌根菌의 作用때문일 것으로 생각된다. The vegetation on the east-, west-, south-, and north-slope in burned area of Mt. Yongkae was assessed and recorded during summer, 1984. The floristic compostition of the burned area consisted of 33 species of the tree and 40 species of the herb. Biological spectra of the burned area showed H-D₁-??-e type. Dorminant species of the burned area were as follows: 1) East slope; Agropyron tsukushinense var. trassiens(SDR₄:84.33)and Feastful ovina(SDR₄:57.43)in herbs, and Rhododendron mucronulatum var. ciliatum(SDR₄:66.3) and Quercus serrata(SDR₄:57.90) in trees. 2) west slope;Miscanthus sinensis var. purpuraxcens(SDR₄:86.48) and Q. serrata(SDR₄56.80) in tress. 3) South slope; Msinensis var. purpurascens (SDR₄:80.96) and Pteridium aquilinum var. latiusculum(SDR₄:63.24) in herbs, and R. mucronulatum var. ciliatum(SDR₄:76.51) and F. ovina(SDR₄:58.80) in herbs, and Q. serrata(SDR₄:78.41) and Lespedeza maximowiczii(SDR₄:49.91) in trees. Small trees such as Pinus densiflora and P. rigida which were considered resistant to the dry site on the east-, and west-slope. On the north slope, many species of short plant were found. Degree of succession(DS) and species diversity index(??)of the north slope (913,755 and 1,147, respectively) were the highest in those of four slopes. Evenness index(e) of the east slope was the highest(0.4346). The soil characteristics such as pH, organic matter, N, P, K, and Ca of the 0-5㎝ depth were higher than those of 6-30㎝ depth. It was assumed that the above result was due to the forest fire. The reaons of the slow recovery of the P. densiflors forest, poor composition of the species, and the devastation of the burned area were regared as allelopathy and mycorrhizae.

        Mycobacterium intracellulare에 의한 요추부 척추염 1예

        비결핵성 미코박테리아에 의한 척추염에 대한 증례 보고가 국내에서는 아직 없었다. 저자들은 기저질환이 없는 환자에서 M. intracellulare에 의한 척추염을 rpoB 유전자에 대한 PCR-RFLP 방법을 통해 진단하였고 수술적 치료와 3제 병합 항균 요법으로 성공적인 임상 경과를 보인 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. We report a case of vertebral osteomyelitis due to Mycobacterium intracellulare in a 60-year-old man without predisposing conditions. He was successfully treated with surgical excision of the inflamed tissue and combined antimycobacterial therapy consisting of clarithromycin, ethambutol, and rifampin. In this case, polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis (PCR-RFLP) based on the rpo B gene of cultured isolates allowed rapid identification of M. intracellulare. Although very rare, nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) should be suspected as a causative pathogen of vertebral osteomyelitis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of vertebral osteomyelitis caused by NTM reported in the Korean literature.

        Due to the rugged energy function of the original Hopfield networks, the output is usually one local minimum in the energy function. This paper an analysis on the location of local minima in Hopfield networks and discribes modified network architecture to eliminate local minima. This modified Hopfield networks has been successfully applied to the construction of analog-to-digital converter with optimal solutions. Experimental results on the voltage transfer characteristics of data converter is presented.

        Water in liquid organic chemicals tends to lower power output or result in the failure of internal combustion engines. There have been lots of proved standard techniques of measuring the water contents in oil, such as distillation, coulometric Karl Fischer titration, and centrifuge. These techniques, however, are mainly for laboratory uses and hard to be used for the continuous monitoring application. Light absorption of water in the near-IR has been used to develop a sensor system to continuously detect water presence in the oil flow. Result shows functional correspondence in the output voltage of the sensor system and water concentration.

      • 위 MALT 림프종에서 다발성 림프절 전이로 오인된 동시성 림프절 결핵 1예

        28세 남자가 내시경적 점막절제술을 통해 저등급 위MALT 림프종으로 진단되었다. 병기설정을 위해 18F-FDG PET 검사를 시행하였고 우측 쇄골상부, 우측상/하부 기관주위, AP window 부위에 강한 섭취가 관찰되어 전이성 림프절로 판단하였다. 그러나, 우측 쇄골상부 림프절에서 시행한 절제생검에서 만성육아종성염증소견이 관찰되었고 조직의 결핵 중합효소연쇄반응에서도 양성 반응을 보였다. 2개월간 항결핵제의 사용 후 시행한 추적 컴퓨터단층촬영 검사에서 림프절 크기의 감소를 보여 최종적으로 위 MALT 림프종에서 광범위 림프절 전이로 오인된 동시성 림프절 결핵으로 진단되었다. A 28-year-old man was diagnosed as gastric MALT lymphoma in diagnostic EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection). He subsequently underwent an 18F-FDG PET. 18F-FDG PET showed intense multifocal uptake in right supraclavicular, right upper and lower paratracheal, and AP window areas that was considered radiologically to represent widespread metastatic lymphadenopathy. Excisional biopsy of a supraclavicular lymph node, however, revealed chronic granulomatous lymphadenitis with a positive reaction of Tb-nested PCR. After antituberculosis treatment for 2 months, a follow-up CT scan showed complete resolution of the lesions. Intense 18F-FDG uptake could be due to an infectious process such as synchronous tuberculous lymphadenitis. Therefore, this could mimic a malignant condition such as lymphoma with extensive lymph node metastasis due to a false-positive finding, which may lead to a misdiagnosis.

        An aeroelastic stability analysis is numerically simulated for two-degree-of-freedom transonic airfoils with some structural nonlinearities in torsional stiffness. A state-space method is used to model the characteristic values of the unsteady transonic flow. Structural nonlinearities considered in the present study are free-play, bilinear spring and friction. The stability of the aeroelastic system is determined by converging values of the angle of attack and bending displacement in time domain. The flutter behavior and vibratory amplitudes are examined for a number of flight conditions and airfoil geometry configurations.

      • GMDP 신경망 알고리즘과 PID 제어기를 이용한 효율적인 PLANT 제어에 관한 연구

        Adapative control theory or parameter tuning of PID controller is mainly limited in linear systems. But in this paper, using a nonlinear mapping capability of NNS, we derive a realtime tuning method of PID controller based on a Back-Propagation method of single GMDP NN. A variety of neural models, especially higher-order networks, are known to computationlly powerful for complex application. While they have advantages over traditional multilayered perceptrons, the uniformity in their network structures, learning algorithms and loop time creates practical problems. Thus this paper evaluates the capability between MLP and GMDP for performing velocity control. Backpropagation is applied to the GMDP as learning rule.

        A study on the Byungtae Ron(病能論) of the So Moon(素問), one of the classic book of oriental medicine, was carried out analytically for the right comments. The principal ideas obtained summarized as follows; Neng(能) is similar to tae(熊) in the pronunciation and the meaning of a chinese character. Byungtae(病能) means the state of the symptoms and the pulse condition of the diseases, etc. It deals with ethological factor, mechanism of disease, the condition of an illness, method of diagnosis, rule of treatment, technique of treatment of seven diseases and taking this seven diseases as a example, mainly discuss the technique and significance of clinical observation and the pathogenesis and condition of an illness, so It named 「Byungtaeron(病能論)」 In this chapter it shows we can grasp condition of illness well only if we classify the pathogenesis and condition of an illness in details. this viewpoint provides the foundation of development in oriental diagnostics. It places emphasis on pulse feeling in this chapter, so it describes pulse condition of various kinds of diseases in details. It also presents how to compare pulse feeling like comparison between Inyoungmaek(人迎脈, arterial carotid communes, the pulsation of which is easily felt beside Adam's apple) and Ch'onkumaek(寸口脈, the radial artery on the wrist where the pulse is routinely taken for diagnosis), between right and left Ch'onkumaek(寸口脈), between Yangmyungsangdong (陽明常動) and Taeyangbudong(太陽不動), Soyangbudong(少陽不動), etc. In this chapter it explains pulse feeling occupies a high position in the diagnosis of diseases in 『Huangdi's internal Classic(黃帝內經)』 period and the technique of pulse feeling is already plentiful and minute. In this chapter it presents 「Tongbyungyich(同病異治, to apply different methods of treatment to the same kind of disease)」 theory, taking tangible syndromes as examples. this is prominent viewpoint of determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs and much influence development of later ages' medicine. On the ground of oriental medical theory, it may bring about different symptoms in the same disease according to stage of disease, the seasons, the regions, the constitution of patient, therefore surely adopt different technique of treatment, this differentiation of symptoms and signs is an important character in oriental medicine.
