        치관보철용 글라스 세라믹 재료에서 조성비 변화에 따른 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

        Glass ceramics for dental crown prosthesis were prepared by heat-treatment of CaO-MaO-SiO₂-P₂O -TiO₂glasses. The crystallization behaviors of samples have been investigated as a function of heat-treated temperature, holding time and chemical composition with their mechanical properties. From the experiment, the following results were obtained: The nucleation rate of apatite increased with increasing CaO or P₂O and decreasing MgO or TiO₂. Vickers hardness and bending strength of samples increased with increasing MgO or TiO₂ and decreasing CaO or P₂O. Vickers hardness of samples increased due to the precipitation of apatite, whitlockite, β-wollastonite, magnesium titanate, and diopside crystal phases within glass matrix. The final crystalline phase assemblages and the microstructures of the samples were found to be dependent on glass compositions, heat-treatment temperature, and holding time.

      • 히야신스의 화경 기내배양시 자구의 재생과 생장에 미치는 생장조절제의 영향

        히야신스 3품종(Jan Bos, Pink Pearl, Carnegie)의 화경절편들을 조직배양을 통해 자구와 뿌리의 형성능력을 조사해 본 결과 품종에 따라 Murashige & Skoog의 기본 고체배지 또는 IAA 3 ?? + BA 0.1 ??, IAA 3 ?? + BA 1 mg ·L-1, NAA 0.1 ?? + BA 0.1 ??, 그리고 NAA 0.1 ?? + BA 1 mg· L-1의 혼용배지들에서 발근이 된 자구들을 바로 획득할 수 있었는데, 화경의 착화부 조직은 비착화부 조직에 비해 자구의 재생율이 높고 재생기간도 빨랐다. 반면에, 후자의 조직은 전자의 조직에 비해 발근율이 높고 발근기간도 훨씬 빠른 경향을 보였다. 그리고 발근이 된 자구들을 분리시켜 계대배양하는 과정에서 IAA 1 ?? + BA 0.1 ?? 또는 NAA 0.5 ?? + BA 0.1??의 혼용처리는 자구들의 생장을 대체로 촉진시켰지만, 뿌리 생장과 신초의 발육은 억제했다. 그리고 부정근의 형성이 용이치 않은 분리된 자구들은 무처리구에서 발근이 양호하였다. Tissue culture was applied to investigate the regeneration of bulblets on inflorescence stalk segments of Hyacinthus orientalis cvs. Jan Bos, Pink Pearl, and Carnegie. Bulblets with roots were obtained directly on Murashige and Skoog's medium or on basal medium supplemented with 3 ?? IAA + 0.1 ?? BA or 3 ?? IAA+1 ?? BA or 0.1 ?? NAA + 0.1 ?? BA or 0.1 ?? NAA + 1 ?? BA according to cultivars. And the bulblets regeneration ability of inflorescence stalk tissue with inflorescence was higher and the days required for the formation of bulblets was shorter than that of inflorescence satlk tissue without inflorescence, on the contrary, the root formation ability of the latter was higher and the days required for the formation of roots of the latter was much faster than the former. During the subcultures of seperate bulblets with roots, the bulblet growth was generatreatments of 1 ?? IAA + 0.1 ?? BA or 0.05 NAA + 0.1 ?? BA. And the root formation of seperate bulblets without adventitious roots was good on basal medium without growth substances.

        The study was carried out in order to investigate the effects of various factor on regeneration and growth of inflorescence stalk of Hyacinthus orientalis cvs. Carnegie, Delft Blue, Jan Bos, Pink Pearl. Ability of bulblet regeneration of inflorescence stalk tissue was good in 1 mg/L NAA+1 mg/L BA, The ability of bulblets regeneration from inflorescence stalk tissue with inflorescence was better than that without inflorescence and the bulblet regeneration ability and growth according to the physiological age of explant were promoted more in young tissue before anthesis than in the mid-mature tissue during anthesis. Bulblet regenrration and root fomation of inflorescence stalk tissue were effective Murashige and Skoog's medium. The growth of regenerated bulblet was promoted on medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/L NAA, 0.1mg/L NAA+0.1mg/L BA, 0.1mg/L NAA+BA or 1mg/L IBA in inflorescence stalk Culture.

      • 경기도와 강원도 야생들쥐의 리켓치아 감염에 대한 혈청학적 조사

        목적: 1997년과 1998년 경기도의 농경지에서 채집한 4종의 야생들쥐 211수와 강원도 산악지대에서 채집한 3종 302수의 야생들쥐를 대상으로 O. tsutsugamushi의 Gilliam주와 Karp주에 대한 항체검사를 실시하여 농경지와 산악지대에서 서식하는 야생들쥐의 항체양성율을 비교하고자 하였다. 방법: 경기도 6개 지역과 강원도의 7개 산악지대에서 야생들쥐 총 513수를 채집하여 O.tsutsugamushi의 Gilliam주와 Karp주에 대한 항체검사를 간접형광항체법으로 실시하였다. 결과: 경기도에서는 등줄쥐, 갈밭쥐 및 멧밭쥐에서 항체양성을 확인할 수 있었고 항체양성율은 지역에 따라 차이가 있었지만 전체적으로 17.5%의 항체양성율을 나타내었다. 강원도의 7개 산의 해발 500미터 이상의 지점에서 채집한 야생들쥐중 등줄쥐와 흰넓적다리붉은쥐서는 항체양성을 확인할 수 있었고 대륙밭쥐는 모두 항체음성으로 나타났다. 전체적으로는 3.3%의 항체양성율을 나타내었다. 결론: 국내에서 발생하는 열성질환인 쯔쯔가무시병은 농경지에서 서식하고 있는 야생들쥐를 숙주로 하는 털진드기의 매개로 사람에 감염된다. 야생들쥐의 리켓치아 감염은 최우점종인 등줄쥐를 대상으로 연구가 이루어져 왔으며 항체양성율은 15∼20%로 보고되었다. 본 연구에서도 경기도의 농경지에서 채집한 야생들쥐의 리켓치아 감염율은 17.5%로 나타났다. 그러나 강원도 산악지대에서 채집한 야생들쥐의 감염율은 3.3%로 나타나 큰 차이를 보이고 있다. 이와 같은 결과는 두지역에서 서식하는 야생들쥐의 종별 차이에 관계가 있는 것이 아니고 O. tsutsugamushi의 매개곤충으로 알려진 L. palpale, L. pallidum, L.scutellae, L.orientale, L. zetum의 시식밀도나 서식분포에 관련이 있을 것으로 사료되며 향후 이에 대한 추가적 연구가 요구된다. Background: This study was designed to determine the serpositivity for rickettsial infection among wild rodents captured in farms of Kyunggi province and in mountains of Kangwon province in Korea. Methods: A total of 513 wild rodents of 5 species were captured in 1997∼1998. Serological evidence for rickettsial infection was obtained using Orientia tsutsugamushi antigens by indirect immunofluorescent antibody technique(IFA). Results: 168 Apodemus agrarius, 35 Microtus fortis 3 Micromis minuets and 2 Eothenomys regulus were captured in Kyunggi province, of which 32 Apodemus agrarius, 4 Microtus fortis, 1 Micromis minutus were IF antibody positive against O. tsutsugamushi. 196 Apodemus agrarius, 77 Apodemus peninsulae and 29 Eothenomys regulus were captured in Kangwon province, of which 4 Apodemus agrarius and 5 Apodemus peninsulae were positive. Conclusion: Seropositivity rate against O. tsutsugamushi of wild rodents captured in Kyunggi and Kangwon provinces were 19.6% and 3.0% by IFA tests, respectively.

        洛東江 河口海城의 식물플랑크톤 極大城 變動에 관한 數値시뮬레이션 : 1. 식물플랑크톤 극대역 변동 현황 1. The state of variation of phytoplankton maximum region

        The estuary of Nakdong river is very influenced by the freshwater contained nutrients and organic materials. The response results of these influences are eutrophication and red tide outbreak in this region. Concentration of chlorophyll a was 0.78∼62.55㎍/L in February, 1.20∼21.29㎍/L in April, 1.88∼188.35㎍/L in June, and 0.78∼11.21㎍/L in August, respectively. The decrease of chlorophyll a is considered that residence time is shorten by increase of freshwater discharge, and unfavorable growth condition of phytoplankton is created by diffusion of low salinity and increase of turbidity. The phytoplankton maximum region located inner side of this estuary during winter season, whereas it was moved to outer side when mean discharge of the Nakdong river was increased. Therefore, the variation of phytoplankton maximum region was affected by input discharge from the Nakdong river basin.

      • 심박변이도를 이용한 당뇨병성 합병증의 평가

        Objective: The purpose of the present study was to investigate relationship between autonomic neuropathy and diabetic complication through analysis of HRV(heart rate variability) of diabetic patients, and ultimately to investigate effectiveness of HRV analysis on evaluation and prediction of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Method: We performed electromyogram, blood analysis and HRV test with 30 diabetic patients. By comparing SDNN(standard deviation of RR interval) of HRV, we analyzed the relationship between this parameter and duration of diabetes, age, and results from electromyogram. Results: 1) Averages of patients' age and the duration of diabetes were 56.12 ± 10.37, 14.58 ± 10.16, respectively. The relationship between each parameter of HRV was not significant(r<0.4). 2).When patients were classified according to the presence or the absence of H-reflex abnormality, peripheral neuropathy, gastrointestinal symptom When patients were classified by the degree of H-reflex abnormality and BUN(blood urea nitrogen), SDNN had reverse relationship to each other. Conclusion: Our results demonstrate HRV test shows statistically significant differences according to the absence or presence of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, gastrointestinal symptom. Therefore, we expect HRV analysis might be used as an efficient method to detect diabetic peripheral neuropathy, gastrointestinal disease, since it is relatively easy and convenient for both doctor and patient.

        Changes in Phosphate Transporter Activity Evaluated by Phosphonoformic Acid Binding in Cadmium-Exposed Renal Brush-Border Membranes

        <P> Direct exposure of renal tubular brush-border membranes (BBM) to free cadmium (Cd) causes a reduction in phosphate (P<I>i</I>) transport capacity. Biochemical mechanism of this reduction was investigated in the present study. Renal proximal tubular brush-border membrane vesicles (BBMV) were isolated from rabbit kidney outer cortex by Mg precipitation method. Vesicles were exposed to 50∼200 μM CdCl<SUB>2 </SUB>for 30 min, then the phosphate transporter activity was determined. The range of Cd concentration employed in this study was comparable to that of the unbound Cd documented in renal cortical tissues of Cd-exposed animals at the time of onset of renal dysfunction. The rate of sodium-dependent phosphate transport (Na<SUP>⁢</SUP>-P<I>i</I> cotransport) by BBMV was determined by <SUP>32</SUP>P-labeled inorganic phosphate uptake, and the number of Na<SUP>⁢</SUP>- P<I>i</I> cotransporters in the BBM was assessed by P<I>i</I>-protectable <SUP>14</SUP>C-labeled phosphonoformic acid ([<SUP>14</SUP>C]PFA) binding. The exposure of BBMV to Cd decreased the Na<SUP>⁢</SUP>-P<I>i</I> cotransport activity in proportion to the Cd concentration in the preincubation medium, but it showed no apparent effect on the P<I>i</I>-protectable PFA binding. These results indicate that an interaction of renal BBM with free Cd induces a reduction in Na<SUP>⁢</SUP>-P<I>i</I> cotransport activity without altering the carrier density in the membrane. This, in turn, suggest that the suppression of phosphate transport capacity (<I>V</I><I><SUB>max</SUB></I>) observed in Cd-treated renal BBM is due to a reduction in Na<SUP>⁢</SUP>-P<I>i</I> translocation by existing carriers, possibly by Cd-induced fall in membrane fluidity.

      • Morphine이 굴근반사(Flexion Reflex)에 미치는 영향

        Experiments were conducted to test morphine sensitivity of the flexion reflex in the anemic decerebrate cats. Animals were immobilized with gallamine triethiodide(Flxaedil) and were artificially ventilated. The sural nerve was electrically stimulated(20V, 0.5 msec) and the flexion reflex was obtained by recording compound action potentials from the nerve innervated to the semitendinosus muscle. Intravenous injection of morphine (0.5~2.0 mg/kg) was found to have following effects on the flexion reflex. 1) Morphine tended to depress the early component of the flexion reflex and the effect was widely variable between animal preparations. 2) Morphine significantly depressed the late component of the flexion reflex, the effect being proportional to the dose of morphine. 3) The morphine effect on the flexion reflex was reversed by a small dose of naloxone hydrochloride(0.025~0.1 mg/kg). 4) Naloxone hydrochloride alone did not appear to facilitate the flexion reflex. 5) The main site for the morphine action was found to be the brain stem. From these results and those reported in literatures, we conclude that the late component of the flexion reflex well represents the pain sensation, thus the late component of the flexion reflex can be used as a reasonable subjective index of pain in experimental animals.
