      • Query and Analysis of Data on Electric Consumption Based on Hadoop

        Traditional data management is usually based on relational databases, which are capable of managing small amounts of data. But relational databases have some difficulty in inquiry, management, and analysis of large amounts of data and magnanimity data. The method of effective management of magnanimity data is a problem deserving of study. In this paper, traditional relational databases are moved to Hadoop, in order to implement query and analysis on Hadoop. This paper changes the amount of data record and number of nodes in clusters, and records the query time in different conditions. Advantages and disadvantages of query on Hadoop can be analyzed by comparing the statistics with the query time on relational database Oracle. The factors affecting the time of query on Hadoop can be found by analysis. Furthermore, the result is also a reference material of future research and data managements on cloud platforms.

        A Novel Technique of Polishing Gear Working Surface using PECMP

        Polishing is dispensable for maximizing the life and overall performance of gears. Pulse Electrochemical Mechanical Polishing (PECMP) is combined by pulse electrochemical and mechanical action, it can reduce the surface roughness value to Ra 0.02μm and even lower and meet the requirement of gear working surface(especially for gear hard surface) polishing. The processing mechanism of PECMP and its influencing factor are discussed in this paper. Some experiments are investigated to research the surface characteristics of gears polished using PECMP , their microtopography and machining texture. The results show that PECMP have many advantages over traditionally polished surfaces with regard to friction factor reduction, noise reduction, precision keeping and anti-conglutination. For the better application of PECMP, the influencing factors and future works are discussed as well.

        Individualized Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis According to Nasal Cytology

        Purpose: Nasal cytology is important in the diagnosis and treatment of nasal inflammatory diseases. Treatment of allergic rhinitis (AR) according to nasal cytology has not been fully studied. We plan to explore the individualized treatment of AR according to nasal cytology. Methods: Nasal cytology from 468 AR patients was examined for inflammatory cell quantity (grade 0-5) and the percentage of neutrophils and eosinophils. Results were subdivided into the following categories: AR(Eos), eosinophil ≥50% of the whole inflammatory cells; AR(Neu), neutrophils ≥90%; AR(Eos/Neu), 10%≤ eosinophil <50%; AR(Low), grade 0/1 inflammatory cell quantity. Nasal cytology-guided treatment was implemented: all AR(Eos) patients (n=22) and half of the AR(Neu) patients (AR[Neu1], n=22) were treated with mometasone furoate spray and oral loratadine. Another half of the AR(Neu) patients (AR[Neu2], n=22) were treated with oral clarithromycin. Visual analog scale (VAS), symptom scores, and nasal cytology were evaluated 2 weeks before and after treatment. Results: There were 224/468 (47.86%) AR(Eos), 67/468 (14.32%) AR(Neu), 112/468 (23.93%) AR(Eos/Neu), and 65/468 (13.89%) AR(Low) of the AR patients studied. There were no significant differences in clinical characteristics among these subgroups, except that the nasal blockage score was higher in AR(Eos) patients than in AR(Neu) patients (1.99 vs 1.50, P=0.02). Comparing AR(Eos) patients with AR(Neu1) patients 2 weeks after treatment, nasal symptoms and VAS were significantly lower in AR(Eos) patients, except for nasal blockage symptoms (P<0.05 of nasal itching and sneezing; P<0.01 for nasal secretion, total scores, and VAS). Comparing AR(Neu1) with AR(Neu2) patients, nasal symptoms, and VAS were significantly lower in AR(Neu2), except for nasal blockage and nasal itching symptoms (P<0.05 for nasal secretions, sneezing, total score, and VAS). Conclusions: Nasal cytology may have important value in subtyping AR and optimizing AR treatment. Treating neutrophils is very important in AR patients with locally predominant neutrophils.

      • Analysis of HEVC Coding Standard

        HEVC video coding standard can achieve an average of 50% bit-rate saving, transmitting nearly the same visual quality, compared with the H.264/AVC High Profile. This paper focuses on the key features of the HEVC standard. Then it analyzes the complexity of the HEVC standard by profiling the HEVC reference software HM12.0 which is released by JCT-VC community with Intel Core i7 processor. The experiment covers different settings for a wide variety of video sequences, with the resolutions ranging from 240p to 1600p. The evaluation result shows that the HEVC standard can achieve a doubling in coding efficiency at the cost of increasing the complexity slightly. When the sequences are coded in all-intra or random-access configurations, intra prediction, loop filter, inverse transform and motion compensation are the most complex components for HEVC decoder. The motion compensation part should be given lots of consideration since it can take nearly half of the decoding time. The quantization parameter (QP) also has obvious influences on the complexity of the decoder. Besides, in practice, the HM decoder is not able to decode video content with 1080p or higher resolutions for real-time applications.

        Cloning and Distribution of Facilitative Glucose Transporter 2 (SLC2A2) in Pigs

        Glucose is the main energy source for mammalian cells and its absorption is co-mediated by two different families of glucose transporters, sodium/glucose co-transporters (SGLTs) and facilitative glucose transporters (GLUTs). Here, we report the cloning and tissue distribution of porcine GLUT2. The GLUT2 was cloned by RACE and its cDNA was 2,051 bp long (GenBank accession no. EF140874). An AAATAA consensus sequence at nucleotide positions 1936-1941 was located upstream of the poly $(A)^+$ tail. Open reading frame analysis suggested that porcine GLUT2 contained 524 amino acids, with molecular weight of 57 kDa. The amino acid sequence of porcine GLUT2 was 87% and 79.4% identical with human and mouse GLUT2, respectively. GLUT2 mRNA was detected at highest level in porcine liver, at moderate levels in the small intestine and kidney, and at low levels in the brain, lung, muscle and heart. In the small intestine, the highest level was in the jejunum. In conclusion, the mRNA expression of GLUT2 was not only differentially regulated by age, but also differentially distributed along the small intestine of piglets, which may be related to availability of different intestinal luminal substrate concentrations resulting from different food sources and digestibility.

        A numerical method for estimating the elastic modulus of recycled concrete

        This paper aims at presenting a numerical method for estimating the elastic modulus of recycled concrete with crushed aggregates. In the method, polygonal aggregates following a given sieve curve are generated, and placed into a square simulation element with the aid of the periodic boundary condition and the overlap criterion of two polygonal aggregates. The mesostructure of recycled concrete is reconstructed by embedding an old interfacial transition zone (ITZ) layer inside each recycled aggregate and by coating all the aggregates with a new ITZ layer. The square simulation element is discretized into a regular grid and a representative point is selected from each sub-element. The iterative method is combined with the fast Fourier transform to evaluate the elastic modulus of recycled concrete. After the validity of the numerical method is verified with experimental results, a sensitivity analysis is conducted to evaluate the effects of key factors on the elastic modulus of recycled concrete. Numerical results show that the elastic modulus of recycled concrete increases with the increase of the total aggregate content and the elastic moduli of old and new ITZ but decreases with increasing the replacement ratio of recycled aggregate and the thicknesses of old and new ITZ. It is also shown that, for a replacement ratio of recycled aggregate smaller than 0.3, the elastic modulus of recycled concrete is reduced by no more than 10%.

      • Design of Electric Energy Acquisition System on Hadoop

        The big data set in Energy Acquisition System needs to acquire massive electric energy data and dynamic information online, and finishes processing in scheduled time. This requires a higher demand on massive data storage and data processing. In order to achieve these massive electric energy data efficiently, this article based on the data gathering system and storage structure of Hadoop technique, and tested electric energy mensuration log data set of a city as an example, the result shows that the bigger of the sets group, the better effect would be achieved, which effectively avoid the latency problem of big data set information processing respond.

        In recent years, there has been widespread concern about the problems of stream data query both academic and industrial communities. The problems obtained some results. At the same time, big data stream brings great benefits for information society. Information query about stream data form has also brought crucial challenges. However, it is seldom about the research of big data stream query in network space. This paper analyzes the characteristics of stream data query in massive data, discusses the challenges and research issues of data stream for big data query. Finally the works for the data stream query are surveyed.

        Spectral Analysis and Prediction of the Wave Forces Acting on Coastal Bridge Decks

        The wave action on a box girder-type bridge deck is experimentally investigated in this study. Two types of incident waves, namely, regular waves (RWs) and focused waves (FWs), are tested. Fourier, wavelet, and Hilbert spectra of the vertical wave forces are obtained and analyzed. Four different methods are then applied to obtain the low- and high-frequency components of the total vertical wave force. Based on the separation results, the relationship between the wave force and wave crest amplitude is thereafter examined. An empirical formula is proposed to predict the vertical wave force. It is hoped that the aforementioned empirical formula may be widely applied during bridge design.

        INFINITE HORIZON OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS OF BACKWARD STOCHASTIC DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS IN HILBERT SPACES

        This paper investigates infinite horizon optimal control problems driven by a class of backward stochastic delay differential equations in Hilbert spaces. We first obtain a prior estimate for the solutions of state equations, by which the existence and uniqueness results are proved. Meanwhile, necessary and sufficient conditions for optimal control problems on an infinite horizon are derived by introducing time-advanced stochastic differential equations as adjoint equations. Finally, the theoretical results are applied to a linear-quadratic control problem.
