The compression deformation of 30Cr2Ni4MoV steel at different temperatures and strain rates is carried out onGleeble 1500 thermal mechanical simulation tester. Based on the experimental flow curves, the strainhardening rate curves (θ = dσ/dε versus σ) are derived, from which the characteristic stresses and strainsare identified. Meanwhile, the dependences of the characteristic stresses and strains on Zener-Hollomonparameter are determined and the results show that the value of the critical stress of dynamic recrystallization isclose to the value of the steady stress. With the aid of the experimental flow curves, the Avrami equation isemployed to describe the kinetics of dynamic recrystallization. The time exponent (n) is expressed as a powerlaw function of Zener-Hollomon parameter and the Avrami constant (k) is determined as a function of halfof the time for the complete dynamic recrystallization (t50). Furthermore, a constitutive model is presentedbased on the rule of mixtures when the dynamic recrystallization occurs. Validation of the constitutive model isimplemented and the simulated results agree well with the experimental results.

The extraction and solvent partition of the leaves of Eucalyptus citriodora, and repeated column chromatography for n-BuOH fraction yielded a new flavonoid glycoside, citrioside C (1), along with three known flavonoid glycosides (2-4). The latter were identified with kaempferol-3-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranosyl (12)-${\alpha}$-$\small{L}$-rhamnoside (2), kaempferol-3-O-${\alpha}$-$\small{L}$-rhamnoside (3), and quercetin-3-O-${\alpha}$-$\small{L}$-rhamnoside (4). Their chemical structures were identified on the basis of spectroscopic data analyses including NMR, MS, UV, and IR. All constitutents were isolated for the first time from the leaves of Eucalyptus citriodora. The potential antivirus activity of all the isolated compounds was evaluated. Compound 4 showed potent antiviral activity against respiratory syncytial virus with 50% inhibition concentration ($IC_{50}$) value of $1.9{\mu}g/mL$ and selective index value of 9.8.

BACKGROUND: Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are composed of cross-linked viscoelastic particles with high biocompatibility. The performance of the fillers is determined by the viscoelastic properties of particles and the connecting force between particles. However, the relationships among the properties of fillers, the interaction of the gels and the surrounding tissue are not clear enough. METHOD: Four kinds of typical dermal filler were selected in this research to reveal the interaction between the gels and cells. A series of analytical tools was applied to characterize the structure and physicochemical properties of the gel, as well as observing their interaction with the surrounding tissues in vivo and discussing their internal mechanism. RESULT: The large particles internal the gel and the high rheological properties endow the Restylane2 with excellent support. However, these large-size particles have a significant impact on the metabolism of the local tissue surrounding the gel. Juve´derm3 present gel integrity with the high cohesiveness and superior support. The rational matching of large and small particles provides the Juve´derm3 with supporting capacity and excellent biological performance. Ifresh is characterized by small-size particles, moderate cohesiveness, good integrity, lower viscoelasticity and the superior cellular activity located the surrounding tissues. Cryohyaluron has high cohesion and medium particle size and it is prominent in cell behaviors involving localized tissues. Specific macroporous structure in the gel may facilitate the nutrients delivering and removing the waste. CONCLUSION: It’s necessary to make the filler both sufficient support and biocompatibility through the rational matching of particle sizes and rheological properties. Gels with macroporous structured particle showed an advantage in this area by providing a space inside the particle.
Effect of different thawing methods on the quality of mackerel (Pneumatophorus japonicus)
Peng-cheng Zhou,Jing Xie 한국식품과학회 2021 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.30 No.9
Five thawing methods such as flow waterthawing, ultrasonic flowing water thawing, air thawing, microwave thawing and low temperature thawing wereused, and the physical, chemical properties and structure ofmackerels after thawing were assessed. The results showedthat the low temperature thawing had the best waterretention, lower protein and fat oxidation. The microwavethawing had the shortest thawing time, but uneven heatingleads to partial maturation. Air thawing prolonged exposureto air leads to high levels of protein and fat oxidation. The flow water thawing had better water retention than thatof the ultrasonic flowing water thawing, only the thawingtime was slightly longer than that of the ultrasonic flowingwater thawing. In general, the low temperature thawingperformed well after thawing. The flow water thawing usedonly 1/43 of the low temperature thawing’s elapsed timeafter sacrificing some acceptable qualities. Thus, flowwater thawing is more suitable for thawing frozenmackerel.
An Improved Two-Dimensional Run-Length Encoding Scheme and Its Application
Peng Wu,Shunping Zhou,Bo wan,Fang Fang,Sha Zhou 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.4
In this paper, we propose an improved two-dimensional run-length encoding (I2DRLE) scheme for representing grayscale images. Conventional 2D run-length encoding scheme is simple and effective that has been widely used, while it is not suitable to represent non-block images. Our approach is a new data compression algorithm inspired by 2D run-length encoding and quadtree, which apply some predefined patterns to represent various data and can sharply reduce the number of blocks in image representation. Experimental results show that this method is an effective lossless grayscale image encoding scheme.

Purpose: Gastric cancer (GC) has high morbidity and mortality and is a serious threat to public health. The flavonoid compound vitexin is known to exhibit anti-tumor activity. In this study, we explored the therapeutic potential of vitexin in GC and its underlying mechanism. Materials and Methods: The viability, migration, and invasion of GC cells were determined using MTT, scratch wound healing, and transwell assays, respectively. Target molecule expression was determined by western blotting. Tumor growth and liver metastasis were evaluated in vivo using nude mice. Protein expression in the tumor tissues was examined by immunohistochemistry. Results: Vitexin inhibited GC cell viability, migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in a dose-dependent manner. Vitexin treatment led to the inactivation of phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K)/AKT/hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) pathway by repressing HMGB1 expression. Vitexin-mediated inhibition in proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT of GC cells were counteracted by hyper-activation of PI3K/AKT/HIF-1α pathway or HMGB1 overexpression. Finally, vitexin inhibited the xenograft tumor growth and liver metastasis in vivo by suppressing HMGB1 expression. Conclusions: Vitexin inhibited the malignant progression of GC in vitro and in vivo by suppressing HMGB1-mediated activation of PI3K/Akt/HIF-1α signaling pathway. Thus, vitexin may serve as a promising therapeutic agent for the treatment of GC.

The arrangement of disc cutter on a cutter head is important to improve the performance of TBM (tunnel boring machine) cutter, cutter life and cutter disc bearing life, then reduce vibration of TBM and reduce the noise. The rock breaking with double disc cutters is the basis of study on the distribution of disc cutter on cutter head, and it plays an important role on optimum arrangement of disc cutter on cutter head. In the process of rock breaking with double disc cutters, the axial vertical distance between two cutters is an important construction parameter, which directly affects rock breaking efficiency. Therefore, research on optimal cutter spacing and analysis of adaptability between cutter spacing and rock characteristics play an important role in optimizing the arrangement of cutter on the cutter head and improving the rock breaking efficiency of TBM. This paper analyzed the breaking rock force of double disc cutters. Taking granite samples as an example, the process of rock breaking with double disc cutters was simulated. Then rock fragmentation analysis based on different cutter spacing was carried out. Finally, the rock of different cutter spacing adaptability was studied. A series of conclusions about double disc cutters breaking rock were drawn.

We screened four B. thuringiensis strains whose parasporal inclusions contained the S-layer protein (SLP), and cloned two slp genes from each strain. Phylogenetic analysis indicated these SLPs could be divided into two groups, SLP1s and SLP2s. To confirm whether SLPs were present in the S-layer or as a parasporal inclusion, strains CTC and BMB1152 were chosen for further study. Western blots with isolated S-layer proteins from strains CTC and BMB1152 in the vegetative phase showed that SLP1s and SLP2s were constituents of the S-layer. Immunofluorescence utilizing spore-inclusion mixtures of strains CTC and BMB1152 in the sporulation phase showed that SLP1s and SLP2s were also constituents of parasporal inclusions. When heterogeneously expressed in the crystal negative strain BMB171, four SLPs from strains CTC and BMB1152 could also form parasporal inclusions. This temporal and spatial expression is not an occasional phenomenon but ubiquitous in B. thuringiensis strains. [BMB reports 2011; 44(5): 323-328]

Gibberellins (GAs) are endogenous hormones that play an important role in regulating plant stature by increasing cell division and promoting seed germination. The GA2-oxidase gene from Arabidopsis thaliana (AtGA2ox8) was introduced into Brassica napus L. by Agrobacterium-mediated floral-dip transformation with the aim of decreasing the amount of bioactive GA and hence reduced the plant height. As anticipated, the transgenic plant exhibited dwarf phenotype. Importantly, compared with the wild type, the transgenic plants had delayed the seed germination, increased the chlorophyll content (28.7–36.3%) and photosynthesis capacity (14.3–18.7%) in a single leaf. At the same time, the photosynthesis capacity of the whole plants was significantly enhanced (35.7–48.6%) due to the extra leaves and branches.
