        황색포도상구균의 항생제 내성 양상

        Antibiotic resistance patterns were determined for 14 strains of Staphylococcus aureus isolated at a hospital in Pusan during summer in 1989. Resistance to chloramphenicol or clindamycin was recorded in 100% of strains. Resistance to the other compounds tested was as follows: tetracycline 86%, gentamicin 79%, tobramycin 71%, kanamycin 71%, erythromycin 57%, ampicillin 57%, methicillin 50%, streptomycin 29%, cephalothin 29%, and trimethoprim 21%. All strains were sensitive to vancomycin and rifampicin. All strains showed multiple resistance to more than 3 antibiotics.

        박피된 아까시아나무의 줄기에서 캘러스 형성 및 유관속 (維管束) 형성층의 기원

        The calluses formed on the surface of a quarter-gridled Robinia pseudoacacia stems have been shown to originate from immature xylem cells and preexisting cambial cells. The callus is not only formed by periclinal and anticlinal divisions of radial cells, but also axial cells. In tangential view, the callus at initial stage showed heterogeneous structure composed of long and short cells and then homegeneous one with short cells. Some cells of homogeneous structure in middle region of callus at early stage is later elongated and others mainly divided in transverse plane. In the result the homegeneous structure becomes into a heterogeneous one. Subsequently, the long cells in heterogeneous structures elongated further and became fusiform initials, and the short cells divided transversely became ray initials. The appearence of homogeneous and heterogeneous structure in the callus on debarked stem without organ elongation is almost similar to that of the structure in the procambium of young stem which is elongating extensively. Eventually, the ontogeny of vascular cambium in wound callus resembles that of a young stem grown normally, although the debarked stem does not grow in length but in girth and the young stem elongates actively. These findings mean that the active intrusive growth of short procambial cells occurs during the differentiation of fusiform cambial cells.

        The early ontogeny of the vascular cambium in the hypocotyl of Eucommia ulmoides seedling was studied anatomically. In transverse view, the procambial cells repeated periclinal divisions and then gradually differentiated into vascular cambium; however, in the transectional plane, it was difficult to reveal the origin of cambial initials. In tangential view, the early procambial cells repeated periclinal divisions and then the procambium consisted of homegeneous short cells. Some cells in late procambium did not show transverse divisions, but elongated continuously. Thus, the procambium showed a heterogeneous structure: The long cells became fusiform initials with tapering end walls and the short cells differentiated into ray initials. conclusively, the two types of cambial initials were gradually originated from the homegeneous cells at the early procambial stage, and they consisted vascular cambium.

        건강검진 수진자에서 담낭용종과 생화학적검사, 대사증후군 및 생활습관의 관련성

        최근, 복부초음파로 인해 담낭용종의 발견률이 높아지고 있다. 담낭용종의 위험인자에 대한 다양한 연구가 보고 되었지만 생화학검사, 생활습관을 포함한 대사증후군과 담낭용종의 관계에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 생활습관, 생화학적 혈액검사를 포함한 대사증후군과 담낭용종과의 관련성을 알아보는데 있다. 2013년 1월부터 2013년 12월 까지 건강검진 수진자 중 복부초음파검사를 시행 받아 담낭용종의 진단을 받은 596명을 대상으로 나이, 성별, 흡연, 음주, 운동의 일반적인 특성과 신장, 체중, 혈압, 허리둘레, 체질량 지수 등의 신체 계측을 하였으며, 동시에 채혈을 통한 공복 시 혈당과 여러 가지 혈액검사 및 대사증후군 여부를 분석하여 담낭용종과의 관계를 알아보았다. 그 결과 남성, 흡연자, 비음주 자에서 유의하게 높았으며, 체질량지수가 높을수록, 대사증후군이 있는 집단이, HBsAg 양성군에서 높았고, 위험도는 남성이 여성보다 1.8배, 대사증후군이 있는 군이 없는 군보다 2.3배, HBsAg이 양성인 군에서 2.6배 높게 나타났다. The incidence of gallbladder polyps are increasing due to the extended use of ultrasonography. Although there are various reports on the risk of gallbladder polyps, there are few studies of the relationships among the presence of metabolic syndrome including serum biochemistry, lifestyle and the development of gallbladder polyps. The aim of this study was to determine association of the presence of metabolic syndrome, including serum biochemistry, with the development of gallbladder polyps in the Korean population. Among the health examination examinees, 596 people, who underwent abdominal ultrasonography from January, 2013 to December 2013, were included in this study. Physical measurements also taken, such as height, weight, blood pressure, waist measurement, and BMI. The general characteristics including age, sex, smoking, and drinking as the related factors were checked. At the same time, various blood tests were performed and the fasting blood sugar was analyzed through blood-gathering to determine the presence of metabolic syndrome. Regarding the factors associated with gallbladder polyps, the results showed that being male, smoking, non-drinking were significantly high. In addition, testing positive for HBsAg and an increasing BMI was apparently higher the group with metabolic syndrome than the non-metabolic syndrome group. The highest predictive factors for gallbladder polyps was being male (1.8 times), followed by metabolic syndrome (2.3 times) and testing positive for HBsAg (2.6 times).

        버섯 종류별 비타민 D 함량 증가 조사

        버섯 내의 ergocalciferol, 즉 비타민 D의 함량을 증가시키기 위하여 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구의 목표는 자외선 조사를 통해 버섯을 선정하고 선정된 버섯의 ergocalciferol 함량이 증가한 버섯 제조 조건을 확립하여 제품개발 및 상업화를 위함이다. 본 연구에 사용된 새송이(Pleurotus eryngii), 느타리(Pleurotus ostreatus), 팽이(Flammulina velutipes), 양송이(Agaricus bisporus), 표고(Lentinula edodes) 5종의 버섯을 대상으로 미세분말화한 후 자외선 조사에 따른 ergocalciferol 함량의 증진 효과를 조사하였다. 미세분말화한 버섯은 30분 동안 자외선 조사를 통해 ergocalciferol 함량이 크게 증가하였으며, 그중 표고버섯이 ergocalciferol 함량(76.12±2.53 μg/g)과 전환율(2.98%) 증진에 효과적이었다. 시간별 자외선 조사 시 표고버섯의 ergocalciferol 함량과 전환율이 높은 시간은 35.54 ±1.11 μg/g 및 5.56%로 15분이었다. 지역별 표고버섯의 ergocalciferol 함량이 가장 높은 지역은 함량 99.92±3.71 μg/g 및 전환율 13.45%인 경상도 지역으로 나타났고, ergocalciferol 생성에 관여하는 ergosterol의 함량이 높은 버섯에서 대체로 ergocalciferol 생성이 높았다. Many studies have been conducted to increase the content of ergocalciferol (vitamin D) in mushrooms. This study established the optimal conditions for ergocalciferol-fortified Lentinula edodes. This study investigated the effects of UV-B irradiation with micronized mushrooms for increasing ergocalciferol in five kinds of mushrooms (Pleurotus eryngii, Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes, Agaricus bisporus, and L. edodes). The content of ergocalciferol increased in the mushrooms irradiated to UV-B for 30 minutes. The highest ergocalciferol content (76.12±2.53 μg/g; the conversion of ergosterol to ergocalciferol: 2.98%) was observed in L. edodes irradiated with UV-B. Irradiation of micronized L. edodes for 15 minutes was found to be the optimum period of irradiation in ergocalciferol content (35.54±1.11 μg/g) and conversion (5.56%). L. edodes in Gyeongsangdo, which had been irradiated to UV-B for 15 minutes, also showed the high content (99.92±3.71 μg/g) and conversion (13.45%) to ergocalciferol.

        This study was contucted to investigate the terrestrial vegetation in the western part of Chonlabuk-do. In studied area, 648 species of vascular plants of 393 genera and 107 families were observed. of these, 197 species were woody plants and 446 species were herbaceous plants. investigations based on the Degree of Green Naturality(DGN) indicated that the grade 2 was most widely distributed(64%) followed by the grade 6(23.3%) and the grade one(11.8%) and grade 7(0.47%). only alimited area was belong to the grade 3,4,5(012% each). The biomass and the production in the studied area was 22, 720.9t/ha and 7,657.64/ha/Year, respectively. The amount of oxygen produced and the amount of SO₂absorbed by the vegetation of the studied area was estimated as 2,942.3 tons and 3,497.47 tons, respectively. of the studied area,8.12% was reserve forest land, 12.99% was sub-reserve forest land, and 78.27% was non-forested land.
