        교정용 미니스크류 식립 시 스크류의 길이, 직경 및 피질골 두께에 따른 응력 분포에 관한 3차원 유한요소법적 연구

        본 연구는 교정치료 시 고정원 보강을 위해 사용되는 교정용 미니스크류의 길이, 직경 및 피질골 두께에 따른 응력분포 양상을 알아보기 위하여 시행되었다. 미니스크류의 길이와 직경 변화에 따른 응력 분포 양상을 관찰하기 위하여 식립되는 피질골의 두께를 1.0mm로 고정하고 미니스크류의 길이를 6.0mm, 8.0mm, 10.0mm, 12.0mm로, 직경을 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm인 3차원 유한요소 모델을 제작하였다. 또한, 피질골의 두께 변화에 따른 응력 분포 양상을 관찰하기 위하여 미니스크류의 길이를 0.8mm로 고정하고 직경은 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm로, 피질골의 두께는 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm인 3차원 유한 요소 모델을 제작하였다. 각각의 유한요소 모델의 미니스크류 head 중심에 200gm의 수평력을 가하여 응력 분포 양상과 크기를 3차원 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 ANSYS응 이용하여 비교한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 미니스크류 내부에서 나타나는 최대 응력값을 비교한 결과, 미니스크류의 직경이 1.2mm에서 2.0mm로 증가할수록 응력이 감소하였으며 같은 직경에서는 길이 증가에 상관없이 일정한 값을 유지하였다. 2. 피질골 및 해면골에 작용되는 최대 응력값을 비교한 결과, 미니스크류의 직경이 1.2mm에서 2.0mm로 증가할수록 응력이 감소하였으며 같은 직경에서는 길이 증가에 상관없이 일정한 값을 유지하였다. 3. 피질골 및 해면골에 작용되는 응력 분포를 관찰한 결과, 대부분의 응력이 피질골에서 흡수 되었으며, 해면골에 전달되는 응력값은 미미하였다. 4. 피질골 두께에 따른 최대 응력값을 비교한 결과, 같은 미니스크류의 직경에서는 피질골의 두께 증가에 상관없이 일정한 값을 유지하였다. 이상의 결과는 교정용 미니스크류의 유지에 길이보다는 직경이 더 크게 관여하는 것으로 나타나 미니스크류의 식립시 이에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사하였다. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the stress distribution on the length and diameter of the miniscrew and cortical bone width. Three dimensional finite element models were made of diameter 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm and length 6.0mm, 8.0mm, 10.0mm, 12.0mm and cortical bone width 1.0mm. Also, another three dimensional finite element models were made of diameter 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm and length 8.0mm and cortical bone width 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, Two-hundred grams horizontal force were applied on the center of the miniscrew head and at that stress distribution and its magnitude had been analyzed by ANSYS, which is three dimensional finite element analysis program. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The comparison of the maximum von-Mises stress in the miniscrew showed that as the diameter increases from 1.2mm to 2.0mm stress has been decreased, while on the same diameter stress was not changed regardless of the length change. 2. The comparison of the maximum von-Mises stress in the cortical and cancellous bone showed that as the diameter increases from 1.2mm to 2.0mm stress has been decreased, while on the same diameter stress was not changed regardless of the length change. 3. In the analysis of the stress distribution in the cortical and cancellous bone, the most of the stress had been absorbed in the cortical bone, and did not transmitted much to the cancellous bone. 4. In the analysis of the maximum von-Mises stress according to the cortical bone width, the same diameter of the miniscrew showed a constant stress value regardless of the cortical bone width change. The above results suggest that the maintenance of the miniscrew is more reliable on diameter than length of the miniscrew.

        The dynamic characteristics and mass transfer effects in Para-type plate pulsed column was investigated. The axial dispersion coefficient of continuous phase was constant in the range above that continuous phase flow rate was 200ml/min, and was more influnced by amplitude than by frequency. The hold-up of continuous phase was more influnced by amplitude and saunter mean diameter was more influnced by frequency. As the experimental results of acetone extraction, the column efficiency was slightly decreased with the pulse velocity increased, but was stabilized in the range of 80~90%. The acetone concentration profiles with the change of column height at steady state more approached to the backflow model than the diffusion model.

      • Seasonal Fluctuation and Vertical Microdistribution of Drosophilid Flies Dwelling in the Broad-leaved Forests on Cheju-do(Quelpart Island)

        Community organization of the drosophilid flies was investigated with respect to the seasonal variation in species abundance and vertical microdistribution on the basis of the trapped collections in the two natural forests on Cheju-do from May to October 1994. The dominant species were Drosophila bizonata. D. curviceps. D. lutescens. D. angularis. D. pengi. and D. immigrans in the annual collections. The pattern in seasonal changes of the dominant species was similar at the two survey sites. Seasonal fluctuation in the species diversity was more affected by evenness than by species richness (number of species). The seasonal variation of abundance showed an unimodal pattern in all of the dominant species. The seasonal patterns of vertical microdistribution revealed difference in some of the dominant species between the two survey sites. These results suggest that the predominant species in the forest avoid niche overlap by means of seasonal separation of breedings and that the vertical microdistribution is strongly affected by factors associated with season and vertical site in the deep wooded forests.

        Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis is known to have a poor prognosis and major cause of morbidity and motality in patients with hematologic disease. Without adequate therapy, invasive pulmonary aspergillosis will almost always progress to fatal pneumonia. Early administration of antifungal agents in patient with invasive pulmonary aspergillosis is most important. And surgical resection of aspergillous-infected tissue may be useful in patients with lesions that are contiguous with great vessel and lesions causing hemoptysis. We reported a rare case of surgical resection as curative treatment for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis patient in 58-year-old man who had the history of acute myeloid leukemia.

      • 임상가검물에서 분리된 효모의 임상적 의의

        1988년 1월부터 동년 12월말까지 경북대학교병원 임상병리과에 의뢰된 가검물 중에서 효모가 분리되었던 환자는 159명이었고, 남자와 여자의 비율은 1.8이었으며 1세 이하와 30세 이상에서 많았다. 또 분리 동정된 효모 총 159주 중 객담에서 78주(49.1%), 요에서 64주(40.3%), 복막액 5주(3.1%) 편도와 대변 각각 4주(2.5%), 농에서 3주(1.9%) 뇌척수액에서 1주(0.6%) 순으로 분리되었다. 분리된 효모로는 Candida albicans가 68주(42.8%), Candida tropicalis 33주(20.8%) Torulopsis glabrata 20주(12.6%), Candida parapsilosis 17주(10.7%), Trichosporon beigelli 7주(4.4%), Torulopsis candida 5주(3.1%), Torulopsis inconspicua와 Saccharomyces cerevisiae가 각 4주(2.5%), Candida guilliermondii 1주(0.6%) 순으로 있었다. 환자들의 기존질병은 폐질환이 70예, 요로질환이 40예 악성종양 및 당뇨병이 각 22예, 간질환 16예, 순환기 질환이 12예 등으로 나타났으며, 유인중 항생제 사용은 114예(80.0%), 수술 49예(34.3%), 카테터 46예(32.2%), 스테로이드사용 28예(19.6%) 악성종양과 당뇨병이 22예(15.4%), 항암제 사용이 10예(7.0%)로 나타났다. 유인이 2개 중복된 경우는 43예, 3개 중복은 38예, 4개는 11예, 5개는 2예로 나타났다. Yeast infection is commonest fungal infection of human. And their incidence becomes to be increased as the frequency of altered host immune system is increased. Antibiotics, cytotoxic drug, malignancy, diabetes mellitus, operative procedures and catherizations are predisposition of fungal infection. Since antifungal drug within a selective or narrow range of activity are available, it is important that speciation of yeast in routine clinical microbiology practice should be effected rapidly and reliably. Author isolated 159 strains of yeast and that were identified by API 20C Auxanogram®. Patient charts were reviewed retrogradely in order to find predisposing factors of isolated yeast cells. Yeast isolation is 1.8(102:57) of male to female rtio and is more frequently below 1 year-old and above 30 year-old in both sexes. Septum(49.1%). urine(40.3%) were major specimens in which yeast isolated. Candida albicans(42.8%), Candida tropicalis(20.8%), Torulopsis glabrata(12.6%), Candida parapsilosis(10.7%) were frequently identified species in order. Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis were frequently isolated species among various specimens. Pulmonary diseases, urinary tract diseases, malignancy, and diabetes mellitus were major underlying diseases. And antibiotic(80.0%), operative procedure(34.3%), catherterization(32.2%), steroid(19.6%), malignancy(15.4%), diabetes mellitus(15.4%) and cytotoxic drug(7.0%) were predisposed in order.

      • Introduction of Korean Mushroom Industry and RDA Research

        The total mushroom production in Korea in 2015 comprised about 200,000 ton with a value of about 700 billion won (one trillion won if mushroom factory products are included, 1 $=1,128 won). This is almost equal to the amounts generated by flowers and medicinal crops. Even though the cultivation area and the number of farms have been decreased since 2006, the scale of the farms is increasing. Also mushroom productivity and consumption (4.9 ㎏ / person in 2015) are steadily increasing. Major cultivated species are Flammulina velutipes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus eryngii, Lentinula edodes and Agaricus bisporus, which cover 90% of the total production. Shelves, logs, plastic bags or plastic bottles are mostly used for cultivation depending on the kind of mushroom. Mushroom export estimated about 43 million $ in 2016. Major exported mushrooms are Flammulina velutipes, Pleurotus eryngii, Lentinula edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Tricholoma matsutake and Agaricus bisporus that are destined for the U.S., the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan and several other countries. Mushroom research in the RDA started in 1967. In the beginning, development of cultivation methods using rice straw was studied together with distribution of improved strains of the button mushroom. The costs of button mushroom production strongly increased due the improving national economy, shortage of workers, increase of wages and the oil crisis in the nation. This caused a weak competitive position for button mushroom export and resulted in reduction of the button mushroom cultivation area. After development of a cotton waste cultivation method for the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreastus), this mushroom was popularized and mainly studied. Development of automated plastic bottle cultivation systems in the 1990s changed shelf cultivation to mass production. The bottle system was applied to the oyster mushroom but also to F. velutipes and P. eryngii. Mushroom research in the RDA nowadays focuses on analysis of mushroom genetics in combination with development of new mushroom varieties, mushroom physiology and cultivation. Further studied are environmental factors for cultivation, disease control, development and utilization of mushroom substrate resources, post-harvest management and improvement of marketable traits. Finally, the RDA manages the collection, classification, identification and preservation of mushroom resources.
