      • 좌심실비후 환자에서 베타차단제의 급중단이 임상증상 및 좌심기능에 미치는 영향

        목적 : 베타 차단제와 칼슘 길항제의 장기투여로 안정상태에 있는 비후형 심근증이나 고혈압성좌심실비후 환자에서 이들 약제를 갑자기 중단하였을 때 혈역학, 심기능 및 임상상에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 경북대학교 병원 순환기내과에서 통원치료중인 비후형 심근중 환자 5명과 심한좌심실비후를 동반한 고혈압 환자 6명(남자 6명, 여자 5명)을 대상으로 장기투여 중이던 베타 차단제와 칼슘 길항제를 최소 5일 중단한 후 임상증상, 혈압 및 심박수의 변동, 그리고 투약중지 전후에 도플러 심초음파도를 기록하여 좌심실내경, 벽두께, 좌심실근량, 구혈율 및 승모판혈류속도곡선의 변화를 관찰하였다. 결과 : 1) 약물치료 중단 후, 베타차단제의 경우 9명 중 6명에서, 그리고 칼슘길항제 및 디소피라미드를 복용하던 각 1명, 도합 7명의 환자에서 심계항진, 호흡곤란의 악화, 흉통이 관찰되었고, 심계항진을 호소한 1예에서는 심방세동이 재발되었다. 2) 혈압, 심박수, 확장말기 및 수축말기 좌심실내경, 심실중격 및 심실후벽 두께, 좌심실근량 및 구혈을 모두는 치료약물 중단 전후에 다소 변화하였으나 유의하지 않았다. 3) E파 최고속도와 E파 시간속도적분은 약물투여 중단 전후에 유의한 변화는 없었으나, A파 최고속도와 A파 시간속도적분은 중단 후에 각각 유의하게 증가하였으며(both P<0.01), E/A 최고속도비와 E/A 시간속도적분비는 각각 유의하게 감소하였다(both P<0.01). 한편, E파 감속시간, 등용이완시간 그리고 A-Ar 간격[A파의 최고점에서 A reversal(Ar)파의 최저점간의 시간] 모두는 중단 후 유의한 변화가 없었다. 1 결론 : 비후형 심근증 이나 고혈압성 좌심실비후 환자에서 장기투여중이던 베타 차단제와 칼슘길항제를 일시적으로 중단하였을 때 임상중상의 악화와 더불어 확장기 기능의 변화를 초래하였다. 따라서 약물치료로 비록 임상적으로 안정상태에 있더라도 치료를 갑자기 중단할 때는 주의해야 할 것으로 생각된다. Objectives : This study was done to evaluate the changes in clinical findings, hemodynamics and cardiac function after abrupt withdrawal of longterm beta-blockers and/or calcium channel blockers in hemodynamically stable patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and left ventricular(LV) hypertrophy associated with hypertension. Methods : Eleven patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(n=5) and LV hypertrophy associated with hypertension(n=6) were studied. Symptom assessment, blood pressure, electrocardiography and echocardiography including pulsed Doppler examination were obtained before and at least 5 days after abrupt cessation of beta-blockers and calcium antagonists. Results : 1) Deterioration in symptoms(i.e. palpitation, aggravation of dyspnea and chest pain) was observed in seven patients after abrupt withdrawal. 2) There were no significant changes in blood pressure, heart rate, end-systolic and end-diastolic LV dimensions, interventricular septal thickness, LV posterior wall thickness, LV mass, and ejection fraction before and after drug withdrawal. 3) Doppler time intervals and E wave peak-velocity and time velocity integral(TVI) were not significantly changed before and after drug withdrawal. But A wave peak-velocity and TVI after abrupt withdrawal were significantly increased(both p<0.01), and E/A peak-velocity ratio and TVI ratio were significantly decreased(both p<0.01). Conclusions : These findings suggest that temporary omission of beta blockers and calcium channel blockers develops deterioration in symptoms and LV diastolic dysfunction in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and LV hypertrophy associated with hypertension. Physicians should avoid abrupt withdrawal of longterm beta blockers in LV hypertrophy.

        크롬(Ⅵ)의 체내 흡수와 소실속도에 관한 연구

        The CrO3 mostly used in plating. metal surface disposal, leather, cosmetic manufacturing, as an experiment material by repeatedly inhaling and exposure the male S.D. rats at a 0.00, 0.2., 0.50, 1.25 mg/㎡ concentration(particle size: 0.5-0.5 aerosol)6hours a day, 5day a week in 13weeks comparing with 2weeks, 8weeks of recovery group about the noxiousness of the experiment animal and the reduce scale of the CrO3 in the internal organ especially in blook and respiratory organ with the period of convalescent and clearance. The experiment results which we received are as follows. 1. In blood the RBC, HGB and HCT experiment, rats with 0.20, 0.50 mg/㎡ concentration showed that there were some decreases but not dependent. The kidneys absolute weight compared with control group was reduced intentionally(p〈0.05) and the lungs absolute weight compared with control group showed intentional increase(p〉0.05). 2. After the exposure of the experiment material, the whole blook, l\blood plasma and red blood cell in blood by (x): the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr concentration, was y=66.51 e -0.057x, y=67.2 e-0.101x, y=70.01 e-0.030 in 0.50 mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life (day)was estimated 12.0, 6086, 23.0 each. 3, After the exposure of the experiment material, the experiment animals lung, liver and kidneys by(x); the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr conentration, was y=1808 e-0.00493x, y=12.02e-0.0297x, y=67.61 e-0.0292x in 0.50mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life(day)was estimated 140.6, 23.3, 23.7, each, and including lung, liver with all of the experiment internal organs, the Cr clearance decreased as the exposure concentration increased.

        브라켓 간접부착시 레진 베이스의 재료에 따른 전단결합강도와 파절양상 비교

        본 연구의 목적은 브라켓 간접부착술식에서 레진 베이스의 재료에 따른 전단 결합강도와 파절양상을 비교해 봄으로써 광중합형 레진 베이스 사용의 타당성을 평가해보는데 있다. 소의 하악 중절치를 포매하여 만든 시편의 석고 모형에 화학중합형 레진 접착제인 Excel과 광중합형 레진 접착제인 Light-Bond 및 열중합형 레진 접착제인 Therma Cure를 이용하여 금속 브라켓을 위치시킨 후 transfer tray를 사용하여 시편에 옮겨 부착한 다음 만능물성 시험기를 이용하여 전단결합강도를 측정하고, 파절양상을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 평균 전단결합강도가 화학중합형 레진 베이스를 사용한 군에서 154.20±35.53 kg/㎠로 나타났으며, 세군간에 유의한 차이가 없었다(P>0.05). 2. 접착제 잔류지수를 통하여 파절양상을 비교 관찰한 결과 세 군간에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(P>0.05). 이상의 실험결과는 브라켓 간접부착술식에서 레진 베이스의 재료로 화학중합형, 열중합형 레진과 함께 광중합형 레진도 사용될 수 있음을 시사하였다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the propriety of making use of light-cured resin base in indirect bracket bonding technique by study of shear bond strength and failure patterns according to the material of resin base. Metal brackets were bonded to the stone models of specimens involving bovine lower incisor with chemical-cured(Excel), light-cured(light-Bond)and thermal-cured(Therma-Cure)resin. They were transferred to the specimens and bonded using sealant. The shear bond strength was tested on Instron. After bracket removal, the bracket base was examined and assessed with the adhesive remnant index(ARI), The result were as follows: 1. No significant differences in shear bond strength were found among the three groups(P>0.05). 2. No significant differences in ARI score were found among the three groups(P>0.05). The above results suggest that light-cured resin base in addition to chemical-cured and thermal-cured resin bases is useful in the indirect bonding technique.

        휠체어 사용자를 위한 고속/시외버스의 사용성평가 시나리오 및 지표 개발

        본 연구는 휠체어 사용자를 위한 고속/시외버스의 사용성평가 시나리오 및 평가지표를 개발하기 목적으로 실시하였다. 연구방법은 문헌조사, 포커스그룹인터뷰, 델파이기법을 활용하였다. 문헌조사를 통해 사용성평가 항목을 도출하고, 포커스그룹인터뷰를 통해 사용성평가 시나리오 초안을 개발하였다. 12명의 전문가를 대상으로 1차 및 2차 델파이조사를 통해 사용성평가 시나리오 및 평가지표를 검증하였다. 1차 델파이조사 결과, 휠체어 사용 대상자 및 버스기사 대상자를 위한 사용성평가 시나리오가 각각 2가지 항목이 추가되었으며, 일부 시나리오 내용의 정의가 더 명확하게 수정되었다. 하위지표로는 성공여부, 오류횟수, 오류번호, 과제노력도, 수행시간, 기술수용도, 과제난이도, 제품만족도가 도출되었다. 2차 델파이 조사 결과, 휠체어 사용 대상자 및 버스기사 대상자를 위한 사용성 평가지표는 각각 3개의 사용성 상위지표와 12개의 하위지표, 10개의 세부지표로 구성되었다. 사용성평가 시나리오는 휠체어 사용 대상자를 위한 2개의 수행영역과 8개의 수행과제로 구성되었고, 버스 기사 대상자를 위한 4개의 수행영역과 14개의 수행과제로 구성되었다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 사용성평가 시나리오 및 지표를 기반으로 향후 휠체어 사용자를 위한 고속/시외버스의 사용성 평가 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to develop scenarios and evaluation indicators for the usability test of express/intercity buses for wheelchair users. The research methods used literature review, focus group interview, delphi technique. Through the literature survey, usability evaluation items were derived and the usability evaluation scenario draft was developed through focus group interview. Twelve experts were tested for usability evaluation scenarios and evaluation indicators through the first and second delphi surveys. As a result of the first delphi survey, two usability evaluation scenarios for wheelchair users with disabilities and bus drivers were added, and some of the definition of scenarios were more clearly modified. Sub-indicators were success, error frequency, error number, task effort, performance time, task acceptance, task difficulty, product satisfaction. The results of the second delphi survey showed that the usability evaluation indicators for wheelchair user and bus driver subject was composed of three usability upper-indicators, 12 lower-indicators and 10 detailed-indicators, respectively. The usability evaluation scenarios consisted of 2 performance areas and 8 performance tasks for the wheelchair users and 4 performance areas and 14 performance tasks for bus driver subjects. Based on the usability evaluation scenarios and indicators derived from this study, further studies are needed to evaluate the usability of express/intercity buses for wheelchair users in the future.

        Establishment of a rapid assay for sequencing of carried DNA and edited sites in gene-editing tomato plants

        Gene editing can modify gene function by inserting or deleting nucleotides in a specific region in a gene, which can alter the desired trait in the plant. In the selection process of gene-editing plants, many populations are created and need to be checked for the edited genes, but traditional gDNA extraction methods are laborious. Here, we used Biocube to extract gDNA and designed a specific primers to identify Cas9 in tomato [marker genes]. Biocubes are directly pressed into plant tissues to absorb and store DNA, and allow for quick and easy gDNA extraction. In this study, using template DNA obtained from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) leaves by the traditional gDNA and the Biocube extraction methods, we confirmed carried DNA and editing in gene-editing plants, and compared the results of the two methods. Template DNA was obtained from cvs. Micro-Tom and M82 by the two extraction methods. Cas9, a gene-specific primer, and rbcl, an internal control, were used in PCR to confirm the presence of carried DNA. To verify the carried DNA, four samples were selected and whole-genome sequencing was performed. High-resolution melting analysis was used to check whether the target gene sequence was edited. Editing was compared using the targeted deep-sequencing results. The results showed no differences between the two gDNA extraction methods. In conclusion, we established a rapid assay for carried DNA and edited sites in gene-editing tomato plants.

      • The Effect of Metal Composition on Bias Stability of Solution Processed Indium Oxide Based Thin Film Transistors

        <P>We fabricated and characterized the performance and stability of metal indium oxide (XIO, X = Zn, Ga, and Al) thin film transistors (TFTs) by an aqueous route with 350°C annealing. The optimized XIO TFTs exhibited good electrical performance. The bias stability of the optimized oxide TFTs was evaluated and we concluded that the instability of the oxide TFT is due to a charge trapping phenomenon. The combinational study of bias stability and chemical composition, which was characterized using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis, indicates that the hole and electron trapping are due to the metal hydroxide and oxygen vacancy species, respectively. In addition, it was found that the stability of the TFT is strongly related to the oxygen vacancy and hydroxide group.</P>

        Ripening Characteristics and Antioxidant Enzyme Activity of Ilmi under Heat Stress Condition

        Heat stress during the ripening stage reduces the yield and quality of rice. Considering the adverse effects of global warming, it is necessary to breed heat stress tolerant rice cultivars and analyze their stress tolerance characteristics. We investigated the ripening characteristics and antioxidant enzyme activity of Ilmi under heat stress condition during the ripening stage. Ripening rate, 1000 brown grain weight, and rice quality of Ilmi were not significantly changed by heat stress during the ripening stage. Leaf chlorophyll, chlorophyll a/b ratio, and malondialdehyde (MDA) contents of Ilmi leaves were also less changed than those of Ilpum. These results strongly suggested that Ilmi has heat tolerance characteristics during the ripening stage. Analysis of antioxidant enzyme activity of Ilmi revealed that peroxidase (POX) activity was significantly higher than that of Ilpum, and showed a significant correlation with the change in chlorophyll a/b ratio and hydrogen peroxide content of flag leaves of Ilmi. These data suggest that the high POX enzyme activity of Ilmi could be considered one of its major heat tolerance characteristics.

        A 2.048 Mb/s Full-Duplex Free-Space Optical Transceiver IC for a Real-Time <i>In Vivo</i> Brain–Computer Interface Mouse Experiment Under Social Interaction

        <P>This paper presents the first free-space optical transceiver IC for social, psychological brain-computer interface experiments with multiple mice. The proposed IC embedded in a head-mounted module (HMM) includes 8-channel neural recorder and a neural stimulator in order to record extracellular action potentials and local field potentials while injecting diverse waveforms of monophasic intracranial stimulation current into the medial forebrain bundle for the activation of the nervous system. The HMM implanted on a mouse transmits the neural recording data to an optical base station by using a mandatory 591/624-nm (amber/red) visible behavior tracking LED as an optical transmitter to save power. The HMM is controlled simultaneously via a 940 nm infrared optical downlink to reduce interference to the visible optical uplink. The proposed IC fabricated in a 0.18-mu m HV BCDMOS process consumes 90 mu W while achieving a 2.048-Mb/s transmission rate.</P>
