LATERAL STABILITY CONTROL OF A DISTRIBUTED ELECTRIC VEHICLE USING A NEW SLIDING MODE CONTROLER

        Chen Yawei,Cheng Qian,Gan Huafu,Hao Xixiang,Yuan Chenheng 한국자동차공학회 2023 International journal of automotive technology Vol.24 No.4

Lateral instability is a key problem that restricts vehicle motion safety of distributed electric vehicles (DEV). This paper designs a new lateral control system composed of subsystems of high, middle and low levels and brings forth an improved sliding mode controller (SMC) method. The similar reference longitudinal velocity generation system is designed via neural network observer and fuzzy logic controller to ensure the smooth and safe driving of the vehicle on low adhesion roads. Relevant working simulation also is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the control method above. The results show that the new control system based on the improved SMC method brings about good yaw rate and speed tracking performance of vehicles and strong robustness of the control system, and can still ensure excellent lateral driving stability on the low adhesion roads, or when making a turn or the friction coefficient is changed.

Component Prototyping for the China Spallation Neutron Source Project

        Jie Wei,Yanwei Chen,Yunlong Chi,Changdong Deng,Haiyi Dong,Shinian Fu,Wei He,Kaixi Huang,Wen Kang,Jian Li,Huafu Ouyang,Huamin Qu,Caitu Shi,Hong Sun,Jingyu Tang,Juzhou Tao,Sheng Wang,Zhongxiong Xu,Xueju 한국물리학회 2009 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.54 No.5

The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) complex consists of an H- linear accelerator, a rapid cycling synchrotron accelerating the beam to 1.6 GeV, a solid tungsten target station and instruments for spallation neutron applications. The facility operates at a 25-Hz repetition rate with an initial design beam power of 120 kW and is upgradeable to 500 kW. The primary challenge is to build a robust and reliable user-friendly facility with upgrade potential at a fraction of the \world standard" cost. Success of the project relies on the results of prototyping research & development (R&D) of key technical systems and components. This paper discusses the prototyping experiences of the past two and a half years. Analysis of Altered Baseline Brain Activity in Drug-Naive Adult Patients with Social Anxiety Disorder Using Resting-State Functional MRI

        Changjian Qiu,Yuan Feng,Yajing Meng,Wei Liao,Xiaoqi Huang,Su Lui,Chunyan Zhu,Huafu Chen,Qiyong Gong,Wei Zhang 대한신경정신의학회 2015 PSYCHIATRY INVESTIGATION Vol.12 No.3

ObjectiveaaWe hypothesize that the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (ALFF) is involved in the altered regional baseline brain function in social anxiety disorder (SAD). The aim of the study was to analyze the altered baseline brain activity in drug-naive adult patients with SAD. MethodsaaWe investigated spontaneous and baseline brain activities by obtaining the resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data of 20 drug-naïve adult SAD patients and 19 healthy controls. Voxels were used to analyze the ALFF values using one- and two-sample t-tests. A post-hoc correlation of clinical symptoms was also performed. ResultsaaOur findings show decreased ALFF in the bilateral insula, left medial superior frontal gyrus, left precuneus, left middle temporal gyrus, right middle temporal pole, and left fusiform gyrus of the SAD group. The SAD patients exhibited significantly increased ALFF in the right inferior temporal gyrus, right middle temporal gyrus, bilateral middle occipital gyrus, orbital superior frontal gyrus, right fusiform gyrus, right medial superior frontal gyrus, and left parahippocampal gyrus. Moreover, the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale results for the SAD patients were positively correlated with the mean Z values of the right middle occipital and right inferior occipital but showed a negative correlation with the mean Z values of the right superior temporal gyrus and right medial superior frontal gyrus. ConclusionaaThese results of the altered regional baseline brain function in SAD suggest that the regions with abnormal spontaneous activities are involved in the underlying pathophysiology of SAD patients.
