        중온 침출수 재순환 혐기성 소화 시스템을 이용한 음식물류 폐기물 처리

        본 연구에서는 침출수 재순환 시스템을 적용한 중온 혐기성소화를 이용하여 음식물류 폐기물을 분해하여 메탄가스를 생산하였다. 실험은 36℃로 유지되는 항온수조 내에 생물반응조와 침출수 저장조로 구성된 2개의 동일한 시스템(System A, System B)을 사용하였고, 생물반응조 하단 30 mm위에는 스크린이 있어 고액분리를 하여 침출수 저장조로 침출수를 이송하였다. 침출수 재순환은 매일 수행하였으며, 침출수 재순환 시에는 생물반응조 하단에서 침출수 저장조로 2.5 L를 30분간 이송한 뒤 다시 침출수 저장조에서 생물반응조 상부로 2.5 L를 30분간 주입하였다. 주입된 음식물류 폐기물은 수집되기 전 한 번 세척하였으며 반응조에 주입되기 전에 36℃로 온도를 올렸다. System A에 49.1 g VS, System B에 54.0 g VS을 2주 간격으로 투입하였다. 저해인자로 측정된 항목은 NH₄⁺-N과 염도였으며, 두 가지 항목의 농도 모두 시스템에 끼친 영향은 없는 것으로 나타났다. System A는 112일간, System B는 140일 동안 운전하였는데, 각 시스템에서 인발된 슬러지는 없었다. 음식물류 폐기물의 혐기성 소화를 통한 평균 메탄 발생량은 System A의 경우 0.439 L CH4/g VS, System B의 경우 0.368 L CH4/g VS로 나타났다. In this study, mesophilic anaerobic digestion of source separated food waste was carried out by leachate recirculation system and methane gas was produced. Two systems - system A and B were fabricated and placed within water bath to maintain 36℃. Each system was comprised of an anaerobic bioreactor and a leachate tank. Leachate in bioreactor was separated through the screen located at 30 mm above the bottom and a pump was installed to transfer collected leachate to the leachate tank. Everyday, 2.5 L of the leachate was pumped from the bioreactor to the leachate tank for 30 min and transferred leachate was pumped back to the top of the bioreactor for 30min, sequentially. Source separated food waste used for this experiment was washed by water before transferring to the laboratory. Transferred food waste was warmed to 36℃ before being fed to bioreactors. System A was fed to 49.1 g VS (Volatile Solids) and System B was fed to 54.0 g VS at every two weeks, respectively. NH₄⁺-N and salinity were monitored to see the inhibition toward anaerobic bioreaction and it was found that concentrations of these materials were not high enough to affect the bioreaction. Although the food waste was fed biweekly for 112 days and 140 days at system A and B, respectively, there was no sludge withdrawal from each system. Average methane productions rates were 0.439 L CH4/g VS and 0.368 L CH4/g VS for system A and B, respectively.

      • Fe-(4~8wt%)Si 압분체의 소결성에 관한 연구

        本 硏究는 高逵素鋼材料인 Fe-Si混合壓粉體의 燒結現象에 관한 基礎硏究로서, 純 鐵粉에 융점이 낮은 Fe-Si合金粉을 혼합한 경우와 純Si粉을 혼합한 경우의 燒結擧動을 조사하고, 燒結方法에 의한 磁氣的 機械的 性質의 변화 양상을 定性的으로 고찰하였다. 硏究方法은 純 鐵粉에 Fe-Si合金粉 및 純 Si粉을 高硅素鋼의 組成範圍인 4%Si에서 8%Si까지의 여러 조성으로 혼합하여 6ton/㎠ 의 압력으로 成形한 후, 수소 분위기 중에서 燒結溫度(1100 ℃-1350℃)와 燒結時間(5分-240分)을 변화시켜 燒結을 행하였으며, 각각의 燒結擧動은 燒結體의 氣孔度, densification para meter, 微細組織을 토대로 검토하였다. 本 硏究結果에 의하면 Fe-Si合金粉을 液相으로 발생시킨 경우가 純粹 固相에 의한 것 보다 燒結이 다소 促進되었으나, 모두 短時間內(30分 이내)에만 效果가 있었다. 그 이유는 液相量이 너무 적고 또, 短時間內에 소멸되어 液相燒結現象의 지속이 오래가지 않았다는 것과, 급격한 結晶粒의 성장 등으로 燒結이 크게 促進되지 못하였다고 分析되며, Fe-Si合金粉의 混合壓粉體를 固相燒結할 경우 1시간 이상 長時間에서 Kirkendall效果에 의해 氣孔度가 다시 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 전체적으로 燒結이 沮害됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 燒結에 따른 緻密化는 1200℃ 이하 固相燒結에서 純 Si粉의 混合壓粉體 보다 Fe-Si合金粉의 混合壓粉體가 양호한 것으로 나타난 반면, 1250℃ 이상에서는 純 Si粉의 混合壓粉體가 보다 더 緻密化 되었다. 機械的 性質(硬度)은 Si의 組成이 높을수록 증가되었으며, 磁氣的 性質은 예상과는 달리 Si의 組成이 낮은 경우가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. SINTERING OF Fe-(4∼8wt%) Si POWER COMPACTS. The sintering behaviour and the varation of related properties for Fe-Si powder compacts containing various composition of Si from 4%, to 8% have been investigated with mixture of pure iron and pure silicon powders,and mixture of pure iron and Fe-75% Si alloy powders The results obtained in these experiments can be summarized as follows. (1) The enhanced densification for the compacts sintered at high temperatures above 1250℃, where liquid phase of Fe-Si alloy powder begins to occur, was not so high as what could be expected from the conventional liquid phase sintering concepts. The reasons for this can be attributed to the little amount of the liquid phase and its rapid disappearance in compacts during sintering, and the fast grain growth due to the high sintering temperatures. (2) Under the sintering condition of solid state only, the compacts of Fe-Si alloy powder mixtures showed that the densification rate decreased slowly due to the Kirkendall effect for long sintering time over 1 hour. (3) Sintering of the compacts prepared from pure iorn and Fe-Si alloy powder mixture showed an improved densification as compared to that of pure iron/pure Si power mixed compacts under the temperature of 1200℃, but above 1250℃ an opposite result was observed. (4) Magnetic susceptibility of the sintered compacts containing lower Si contents(4.5%) was higher than those of higher Si compacts. This fact is not consistent with the expectation, but it may be attributed to the observed high values of porosity for 6.5% and 7.5% Si compacts in these experiements. Hardness values, however, increased with Si content.

        By attaching the two degrees of vibration system to the primary vibration system which is modeled as a one degree of freedom, the new vibration system becomes three degrees of freedom. Depending on the driving frequency on the original vibration system, the vibration systems attached needs to be carefully tuned, that is, to choose adequate value of the mass ratio, frequency ratio and damping ratio, so that the amplitude ratio of the vibration system is a minimum. This paper presents the effects of mass ratio, frequency ratio and damping ratio on the resonance frequency ratio, amplitude ratio of three degrees of freedom.

        하시모트 갑상선염과 동반된 갑상선 MALT 림프종(MALToma) 1 예

        Primary thyroid lymphomas constitute of up to 5% of all thyroid malignancies. Recently, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma are relatively recognized as a B cell subset of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. MALT-lymphomas are thought to develop from acquired lymphocytic tissue during the course of a chronic inflammatory or autoimmune process. In the thyroid , which is normally devoid of lymphocytic tissue, chronic autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's disease) has been associated with an increased risk of lymphoma, including MALT type. The clinical presentations include the enlarging of the neck mass, dysphagia, hoarsenes and choking or cold thyroid nodule. We report a case of MALToma of the thyroid accompanied by Hashimoto's thyroiditis with a review of the literature.(Korean J Med 61:281-285, 2001)

        Objective : Acupuncture has been used for treatment of numerous disorders, especially for pain control in Oriental Medicine. However, the mechanism of pain control by acupuncture was not clear until now. This study was performed to prove analgesic mechanism of acupuncture treatment at acupoint ST_(36) by observing the changes of abdominal pain and c-Fos expression in the thalamus. Methods : Abdominal pain was induced by acetic acid, and the changes of writhing reflex after acupuncture treatment an ST_(36) and non-acupoints were measured. c-Fos immunohistochemistry was also performed to study the changes of the neuronal activity in the thalamus. Results : The writhing reflex decrease significantly after acupuncturing at ST_(36) compared with control group(p<0.05). The changes of the writhing reflex by non-acupoint acupuncture treatment also showed significant decrease compared with control group(p<0.05). c-Fos expression in the thalamus, especially periventricular part was significantly decreased after acupuncturing at ST_(36) compared with control groups(p<0.05). Conclusion : This study shows that the acupuncture has the analgesic effect in the abdominal pain induced by acetic acid and the thalamus might be a important area for this mechanism.

      • 원인 불명의 복부증상과 변비

        Simple abdominal X-rays that included kidneys, ureters, and bladder(KUB) were obtained in 557 outpatients to investigate the frequency of conctipation and its relation to various abdominal symptoms. Four-hundred and six patients presented with various abdominal symptoms as their chief complaints and the remaining 151 patients had other symptoms. The distribution of fecal material within the large intestine was scored and the fecal retention was classified as mild, moderate, and severe. Chief complaints and final diagnosis when established failed to predict the severity of fecal retention but moderate or severe fecal retention was observed in 64% of all patients and in 61% of 265 patients in whom no other cause of abdominal was identified. Constipation as defined by moderate or severe fecal retention on KUB may or may not be symptomatic but may be a much more common cause of various abdominal symptoms in Koreans than has been known. A KUB may be a simple and inexpensive tool in the diagnosis of constipation.

        For agile production methods, manufacturing system requires development of a motion controller which has flexibility of general-purpose motion controller and productivity of specialized-purpose one. In this study we developed the Flowchart Programming development environment for Motion language and Process Control. The controller designed on this environment can be used as a general purpose motion controller of a machining tool. Design of control programming based on a flowchart has the advantage of reducing the time consumed and intuitive interface for users. We create the solution with the Microsoft Visio for the flowchart-based platform and OPC for the process communication.

        강정항 VTS 시스템 구축시 음영구역 최소화를 위한 레이더의 위치설정에 관한 연구

        We have studied the efficient operation of the radar and the appropriateness of the installation location, when constructing the VTS system. As the Civil-Military Complex Harbour (Kangjeong Port) is completed in 2016, we set the control area within 10 nautical miles centering on Kangjeong Port, and found out and removed the operational radar blind area of VTS system to provide safe navigation information for vessels that navigating this area. Assuming that two international cruise ships entering at the same time, we performed the radar simulation and compared the images by considering the three sites of Kangjeong Port, Miaksan and Seoguipo Port. Simulation results for a single radar installed at Kangjung Port indicate that the blind area was largely affected by two large cruise ships and the surrounding islands. The blind area due to Kogunsan was considerably large when installed in Miaksan, but the blind area due to the influences of Beomseom, Moonseom and Seopseom was negligibly large. It seems that additional radar installation is necessary as a complementary solution to solve this blind area. When two radars were installed at Miaksan and Kangjeong Port, the residual blind area due to the Seopseom was 0.25 ㎢ at 0.1~0.33 nautical miles in the southeast direction from Seopseom. In addition, the remaining blind area with two cruise ships mutually influenced was 0.18 km2, which did not occur with a single cruise ship.
