Health Risk Appraisal(HRA) is usually defined as a process by which we expect of individual's chances of acquiring specific diseases within a defined period of time. The concept of worksite as an area of health maintenance and promotion is newly developing. Our movement for health promotion of employees has been increasingly known in the worksite. The aim of this study is to develop health risk appraisal tools about health promotion at the worksite for employees. We performed this study by two steps: one step was to develop a HRA questionnaire of worksites in Korea, another was to evaluate the reliability of the questionnaire. For developing HRA questionnaire, we reviewed scientific examples at first, and then weighted the score by delphi. To evaluate the reliability of developed questionnaire, we carried out survey by test-retest method. A total of 131 employees completed HRA questionnaire on two times. The results are as follows. The total score of health risk in unhealthy workers was higher than that of healthy workers. The range of test-retest reliability of responses to the questionnaire was 0.57-0.94. Therefore it seems that this questionnaire was very suitable to assess the health behavior of workers. In conclusion, the developed HRA questionnaire can be used as a tool for evaluating health behavior and for providing health counseling materials.

The present research focused on producing a 2-inch a-plane (11-20) wafer from small rectangular seeds and investigating the property of a-plane 6H-SiC grown by using the conventional physical vapor transport (PVT) method. A seed was prepared by cutting along the <0001> direction of a 6H-SiC ingot grown on the (0001) basal plane and then four equivalent rectangular seeds were glued in parallel on 2-inch graphite. The a-plane wafer was characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (OM), UV/VIS spectrophotometry and Raman scattering analysis to investigate the structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties, respectively. The XRD result revealed that the FWHM values of the a-plane wafer measured along the m direction and the c direction were 27 arcsec and 31 arcsec, respectively. The grown surface of the a-plane exhibited a hollow core defect and several grooves at the near connected region. The carrier concentration and mobility of the a-plane were estimated as 0.5 × 10^(17) cm^(−3) and 300 cm^2/Vs, respectively, at a far point from the seed region by using a Raman scattering analysis.

Muscle glycogen Phosphorylase (PYGM) has been shown to catalyze the degradation of glycogen to glucose-1-phosphate. The PYGM gene can contribute to providing energy to the body by disassembling the glycogen in muscle. Here, we analyzed the genomic structure and expression of the PYGM gene in the thoroughbred horse. The PYGM gene, containing several transposable elements (MIRs, LINEs, and MERs), was highly conserved in mammalian genomes. In order to understand the expression of the horse PYGM gene, we performed quantitative RT-PCR using 11 thoroughbred horse tissue samples. The horse PYGM gene was broadly expressed in all tissues tested. In particular, the highest expression of the horse PYGM gene was observed in skeletal muscle tissue relative to the other tissues. Interestingly, the horse PYGM gene contains fewer mobile elements than its human ortholog, resulting in an increase in the structural stability of the PYGM gene sequence. This study provides insights into the genomic structure of the horse PYGM gene that may be useful in future studies of its association with exercise capability.

Typically, studies through the simulation system have been progressed, because the evaluation of the driver"s arousal state about the service of a actual train has risk of safety for the driver. When configured event same as the real in simulation system, the ability to cope with an accident situation may be the same each other. But the difference in the state of tension or arousal will occur. In this study, requested to cooperate with the railways in order to escape from these constraints, and the target of the experiment was to real engineer service. I was set about experiment when the train was stopped as safe as possible. As a result, the beta wave of EEG signals that representing complex calculations or anxiety is increased rapidly on the basis of a flag station from at the time of departure. The size of the electrodermal activity signal in response to movement of the body gave a noticeable. In terms of HRV, if the train approach a flag station gradually and the R-R interval is narrowed. So that the driver can be estimated as arousal state. In accordance with this study, if the quantitative standard of arousal state be based on the driver"s biosignals will provide, it will be able to take advantage of development the system that would prevent train accidents caused by human error.
