Two hundred and seventy-three Haemophilus influenzae strains isolated from pediatric pneumonia patients in China were studied. We used Multilocus Sequence Typing (MLST) to analyze genotypic characteristics. All strains were biotyped and serotyped. Relatedness and patterns of genes among isolates were determined by the analysis of MLST and eBURST. H. influenzae primarily causes acute pneumonia in children under 1 year old. Nontypeable H. influenzae was responsible for most cases of pediatric pneumonia. All 273 strains were classified into eight biotypes. They mostly belonged to the I, II, and III biotypes (17.6%, 43.6%, and 22.7%, respectively). 62 strains (22.7%) produced β-lactamase. We found 28 novel alleles. Fifty different STs were found by MLST, of which 39 were novel. These were ST477 through ST508 and ST521 through ST527. Group 17 and predicted founders 503 were new groups in this study. No STs correlated with strains from Korea, which is adjacent to China. The H. influenzae strains from China appeared to have heterogeneous ST types patterns which may be the reason no outbreaks or epidemics of H. influenzae infections have occurred in Chengdu city, Sichuan, China.

An Introduction to the Mobile Payment Market and Trend in China
Guozhong Li ASCONS 2019 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EMERGING MULTIDISCIPLINAR Vol.3 No.1
Digital payment in China is undergoing dramatic development due to the rapid growth of social networks and e-commerce platforms which has transformed the way people communicate and transact around the world. The Alipay payment and Wechat payment (Tenpay) service have been extremely popular among the customers and merchants because of the features of these services which are faster, cheaper, safer and more convenient than traditional payment services with nearly 470 million mobile payment service users in 2016. The development of China's digital payment market also led to the diversification of business models which has boosted customers shopping styles that are challenging the traditional business models and financial systems. The development of China's mobile payment market also expanded the scope of financial inclusions by establishing mobile payment ecosystems. This research indicates the possible reasons that explain the different phenomenon between coastal provinces and less developed provinces in China.
A Study on Patent Valuation Factors
Guozhong Li,Seong-Taek Park ASCONS 2017 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EMERGING MULTIDISCIPLINAR Vol.1 No.2
The purpose of this study is to examine the factors of patent value evaluation at home and abroad, and to derive common factors of patent evaluation. Since different factors are used to evaluate the value of a patent by each institution, the evaluation results differ from institution to institution. Therefore, we examined the evaluation models of two Korean institutions and three evaluation models overseas institutions. Through this, we derive the patent valuation factors which are commonly used by 5 institutions. The derived factors are expected to be useful for future patent valuation.

Background: High concentrations of particulate matter less than 2.5 µm in diameter (PM2.5) in poultry houses is an important cause of respiratory disease in animals and humans. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that can induce severe respiratory disease in animals under stress or with abnormal immune functions. When excessively high concentrations of PM2.5 in poultry houses damage the respiratory system and impair host immunity, secondary infections with P. aeruginosa can occur and produce a more intense inflammatory response, resulting in more severe lung injury. Objectives: In this study, we focused on the synergistic induction of inflammatory injury in the respiratory system and the related molecular mechanisms induced by PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa in poultry houses. Methods: High-throughput 16S rDNA sequence analysis was used for characterizing the bacterial diversity and relative abundance of the PM2.5 samples, and the effects of PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa stimulation on inflammation were detected by in vitro and in vivo. Results: Sequencing results indicated that the PM2.5 in poultry houses contained a high abundance of potentially pathogenic genera, such as Pseudomonas (2.94%). The lung tissues of mice had more significant pathological damage when co-stimulated by PM2.5 and P. aeruginosa, and it can increase the expression levels of interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α through nuclear factor (NF)-κB pathway in vivo and in vitro. Conclusions: The results confirmed that poultry house PM2.5 in combination with P. aeruginosa could aggravate the inflammatory response and cause more severe respiratory system injuries through a process closely related to the activation of the NF-κB pathway.

Zn was firstly used to improve wear resistance of a TA7 (Ti–5Al–2.5Sn) titanium alloy surface by mean of a laser alloying (LA) technique. The synthesis of the hard coating on a TA7 titanium alloy by LA of Co–Ti–Cr–TiB2–Zn–CeO2 pre-placed powders was investigated by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). Experimental results indicated lot of the nanocrystals, such as Ti–B/CoZn13 and the amorphous phases were produced in such LA coating. The nucleation and growth of the amorphous phases were retarded by the nanocrystals in a certain extent during the crystallization process of the amorphous phases. Compared with a TA7 alloy substrate, an improvement of the wear resistance was obtained for such LA composite coating.
Experimental Study on the Deformation of a Cut-Off Wall in a Landfill
Guozhong Dai,Jia Zhu,Yang Song,Shujin Li,Guicai Shi 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.24 No.5
To effectively solve the leakage problem of landfill leachate, it is necessary to establish a vertical cut-off wall around the landfill site for seepage control. To accurately analyze the deformation of the cut-off wall, a 1/8-scale landfill cut-off wall miniature model is designed and fabricated. The actual force of the cut-off wall is simulated by filling sand on the outer side of the model wall. Meanwhile, a nonlinear finite element model of the wall is established using the ANSYS to simulate the deformation of the seepage wall. The results show that the cut-off wall made from a polyvinyl alcohol-bentonite-fly ash-cement (PBFC) anti-seepage slurry has a high ultimate bearing capacity, and its ultimate strain is approximately 5%, which is much higher than the limit strain of the actual force conditions of the cut-off wall. The horizontal displacement of the cut-off wall is approximately linear and decreases gradually from the top to the bottom, and no reverse displacement is observed. The main stress of the wall is smaller than that of the slurry, and there is no tensile stress. The simulated results are similar to the measured values of the cut-off wall, which indicates the accuracy of the simulation analysis.
