Considering the elastic strain and the creep strain at high temperature low cycle fatigue, together, we could find that the experimental modified J integral, J'ex is larger than the theoretical value, J'a. To investigate which effects this enlargement have on the crack propagation in the creep-fatigue interaction range, the high temperature low cycle fatigue crack experiment was accomplished using CN specimens. The results are as follows. 1. The enlargement of J'ex is not considerable at R=0 but at R=-1 it is considerable. 2. J'ex with low stress holding time is 2-10 times larger than the one without holding time. 3. In case of no holding time, the enlargement of J'ex has effects on the crack crack propagation rate at R=-1, but at R=0 a certain factor having no effects was found out.

Spiral Spring Constant does not vary when the number of spiral is infinite, which can be shown by energy method, opplied to the deformed body. In usual cases, the number of spiral is infinite and the spring constant varies according to the initial number of spiral and acting torque. This paper is focused on the numerical analysis of the deviation tendency in two cases, fixed end and hinged end. The results are as follows. 1. The scales of gauges using spiral spring should be compensated according to the result of analysis. 2. The absolute values of r₁are smaller than the ones of r and in order to limit the deviation within 0.1%, N should be equal to or larger than 6 in the fixed end case and N should be equal to or larger than 4 in the hinged end case. 3. Dividing N by 0.25 step, e.g. 4, 4.25, 4.50, 4.75, r is smallest when N=integer + 0.75 and r₁is when N=integer.

A study on the nonlinear fracture mechanics was made on the low-cycle fatigue crack growth in SUS304 stainless steel under trapezoidal and sine stress wave at 650℃. The high temperature low cycle fatique crack growth behavior was classified into two categories: cycle-dependent and time dependent. The cycle-dependent crack growth rate correlated well with J integral range ?J, whereas the time dependent crack growth rate was characterized by modified J integral Jex. A parameter βwas found useful in predicting the transition from the cycle-dependent crack growth to the time-dependent crack growth. Conducting the experiment of high temperature fatigue crack propagation in trapezoidal, and sine stress wave, following conclusions were obtained. 1. Crack propagation behavior can be classified into cycle-dependent and time-dependent. 2. The transition of cycle-dependent crack propagation to time dependent one could be predicted bt either parameter βor ?J/ ?J?.

지난 11월 20일부터 시행 중인 청소년 보호법이 요즘 이슈가 되고 있다. 이는 그것은 바로 여성 가족부에서 추진 중인 '게임 셧 다운제'이다. 청소년들의 수면권과 학습권을 보호하자는 것인데, 학교에 다니는 청소년들이 방과 후 학원을 거쳐 늦은 시간에 귀가하면, 곧바로 수면이 아닌 온라인 게임을 하느라 제대로 된 휴식을 취하지 못한다는 것이다. 게임 셧 다운제는 만 9세 이상 16세 미만의 청소년을 자정부터 다음날 오전 6시까지 온라인 게임에 접속을 차단하는 것인데, 기존에 있는 정책들과 대립되는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 게임 셧 다운제의 문제점에 대해 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
일반논문 : 정책수단의 변화로 인한 효과성 분석 -가사간병서비스의 전자바우처 전환을 중심으로

본 연구는 서비스 구매계약 방식에서 전자바우처 방식으로 전환된 가사간병서비스의 정책적 효과를 Salamon의 정책수단 분석틀에 기초하여 설명하였으며 각각의 효과가 정책 수단 변화의 궁극적인 목표인 서비스의 질과 이용자 만족도의 증가에 어떻게 기여하고 있는지를 검증하였다. 분석을 위하여 전자바우처 전환으로 인한 다섯 가지 효과에 대한 설문을 기초자치단체와 공급기관 담당자를 대상으로 실시하였다 구조방정식 분석결과. 전자바우처 전환으로 인해 유발된 경쟁의 증가는 서비스의 향상에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐 만 아니라 부정의 감소를 통해 간접적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 경쟁의 유발은 투명성의 체고, 부정의 감소 및 책무성의 강화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀분석을 통한 검증에서는 이전의 서비스 구매계약과 현재의 전자바우처 방식을 모두 경험한 담당자가 이전 방식을 경험하지 못한 담당자에 비해 서비스. 경쟁 및 책무성 효과를 더 크게 인식하고 있으며 기초자치단체 담당 공무원에 비해 제공기관 담당자가 서비스 및 경쟁 효과를 더 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. This paper attempts to conceptualize the impacts of policy tool changes from purchase-of-service contracting method to voucher system for delivering home-care service with Salamon`s policy tool analysis framework. based on which it examines the impacts of the changes to the eventual service quality improvements. Analysis using structural equation models reveals that the change-induced competition helps directly increase service quality as well as indirectly affecting it through improvements in accountability and reduce in illegal usage. It also shows that improvements in accountability and reduced illegal usage positively affect the service quality. Regression analysis reveals that the persons that have experienced both policy tools tend to evaluate the impacts of the voucher system more highly than those who only have experienced voucher system only. Additionally. compared with the municipal bureaucrats who are monitoring the delivery system, personnels in institutes that directly provide services more sensitively realize the effects.

A compound was isolated from the root of Rumex japonicus. Based on spectroscopic data including nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, the chemical structure of the compound was determined to be 1,8-dihydroxy-3-methoxy-6-methylanthracene-9,10-dione. The compound exhibits antitumor activity due to inhibition of clonogenicity and induction of tumor suppressor early growth response gene-1 in HCT116 colon cancer cells.
Intrinsically disordered fold of a PIAS1-binding domain of CP2b

The transcription factor CP2 regulates various biological systems at diverse tissues and cells. However, none of the four CP2 isoforms has been solved in structure yet. In particular, two different regions of the CP2b isoform have been characterized to interact with the PIAS1 in nucleus to regulate the ${\alpha}$-globin gene expression. Among them, in this study, the region encompassing residues 251-309 of CP2b was prepared as a recombinant protein and its solution structure was characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The results indicated that the CP2b(251-309) fold belongs to typical IDRs (intrinsically disordered regions), likely to facilitate promiscuous interactions with various target proteins. Unfortunately, however, its interaction with the N-terminal domain of PIAS1 (residues 1-70), which has been identified as one of the CP2b-binding sites, was not observed in the NMR-based titration experiments. Therefore, it could be postulated that the 251-309 region of CP2b would not contact with the PIAS1(1-70), but alternatively interact with another CP2b-binding region that encompasses residues 400-651 of PIAS1.
Structural assessment of the tetramerization domain and DNA-binding domain of CP2c

Although the transcription factor CP2c has been recently validated as a promising target for development of novel anticancer therapy, its structure has not been solved yet. In the present study, the purified recombinant protein corresponding to the tetramerization domain of CP2c appeared to be well folded, whereas the Elf-1 domain showed a largely unfolded conformation. Particularly, the Elf-1 domain, which contains the putative DNA-binding region, showed a conformational equilibrium between relatively less-ordered and well-ordered conformers. Interestingly, addition of zinc shifted the equilibrium to the relatively more structured conformer, whereas zinc binding decreased the overall stability of the protein, leading to a promoted precipitation. Likewise, a dodecapeptide that has been suggested to bind to the Elf-1 domain also appeared to shift the conformational equilibrium and to destabilize the protein. These results constitute the first structural characterization of the CP2c domains and newly suggest that zinc ion might be involved in the conformational regulation of the protein.
