The purpose of this research was to investigate the present state of continual upbringing of school elite sports, athletic facilities, university and business sports teams and the achievements of the 78th National Athletic Competition of Ulsan city and find out how to activate the elite sports in Ulsan base on the investigations. The results are as follows; 1) In the 78th National athletic competition, Ulsan was ranked the lowest, scoring 10,868points, 1.68% of all the scores. 2) Athletic facilities of Ulsan are the worst of the 16 cities and provinces. 3) It is very necessary in Ulsan to continuosly train and develop teams. In particular, it is most required to concentrate on improving field and track competition, swimming, western style archery, gymnastics, cycling, weight-lifting, canoe and shooting.
피부단순포진 진단을 위한 Tzanck 도말, 바이러스배양 및 면역형광검사의 비교 연구

Although Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) infection is one of the most common infectious diseases, its two main laboratory diagnostic methods-Tzanck smear is a simple, inexpensive and rapid method, but it shows relatively low positivity. Similarly, the viralculture is the most accurate and definitive method, but it is expensive and relatively time-consuming test. There is a demand for more practical laboratory diagnostic methods for cutaneous herpes simplex infections. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) staining with monoclonal antibodies, which is suggested as a practical method. For the study, 103 patients suspected HSV infection were sampled at the Department of Dermatology in Hanyang University Hospital from March 1987 to July 1990. In the 60 specimens for Tzanck smear and viral culture, Tzanck smear was 35(58.3%) positivities, and viral culture was 56(93.3%) positivities(p〈0.05). In the 43 specimens for viral culture and IIF staining, viral culture was 40(93%) positivities and IIF staining was 37(86%) positivities(p〉0.05). In the 25 specimens, which viral culture was positivities, IIF staining showed 22(88%) positivities and Tzanck smear was 16(64%) positivities(p〈0.05). In summary, the result of Tzanck smear showed relatively high correlation to the results of IIF staining and viral culture. However, the result of IIF staining showed a significant agreement with the result of viral culture. It is suggested that the IIF staining with monoclonal antibodies is a simple, inexpensive, but accurate and relatively rapid method for the diagnosis of cutaneous HSV infections.

Pole Placement Control has been well establish in its theory. However, its practice value is yet to be appreciated in most industries. This paper presents an account in which the control strategy is run on the hydraulic motor. Using the input and output data from actual system, estimation of the model parameters are obtained by a function ARMAX(Autoregressive Moving Average with am exogenous signal) in Matlab and controller synthesis is achieved by a Pole placement control. Estimation system from a ARMAX is defined by third order and application of Pole placement control technique will be provide not only stability but also good performance for motion of hydraulic motor in any operation condition.
High Density Plasma 발생 장치의 구성 및 특성

High density plasma deposition system was organized using electron cyclotron resonance source, and its plasma properties were measured by using the Langmuir probe method. The ECR microwave plasma conditions could be controlled by means of mass flow controller and ECR microwave power according to the vacuum pressure of 2.3×10^-5 Torr to 5.2×10^-2 Torr. The ion density was increased with an increase of gas flow rate, and a decrease of the distance between ECR source and substrates. The electron temperatures were decreased with an increase of gas flow rate, and a decrease of the distance between ECR source and substrates. The estimated plasma potential was from 27.0V to 31.5V

Al thin films were fabricated by using vacuum evaporation method and ion beam assisted deposition method. The effects of ion impact on Al thin films were characterized by the surface roughness and the SEM morphology. Al thin films fabricated by vacuum evaporation method were increasing surface roughness as increasing substrate temperature. Al thin films fabricated by ion beam assisted deposition method were decreasing hillock profiles and increasing density as increasing ion arrival ratio comparing to the Al thin films fabricated by vacuum evaporation method.
HEMT소자의 전송특성 해석을 위한 채널내의 산란율에 관한 양자역학적 연구

In this paper the rates of two-and three-dimensional scattering are calculated in pseudomorphic ??/??/GaAs HEMT heterostructure systems. The electronic states and wave functions in the square quantum well are determined numerically by the self-consistent solution of Poisson's and Schrodinger's equations. The wave functions and energy levels obtained are used to calculate the major two-dimensional scattering rates in this structure. Polar optical- phonon and acoustic- phonon, piezoelectric, ionized impurity and alloy scattering rates are considered for the first two subbands. This results are compared to the three-dimensional scattering rates also calculated using by the triangular approximation of quantum well in the same structure.

Hydrogenated amorphous carbon(a-C:H) thin films were fabricated by electron cyclotron resonance plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition method. The carbon and hydrogen structure of the a-C:H thin films have been investigated as functions of ECR power, CH₄/H₂ gas composition and flow rate, deposition time and DC self bias voltage. The bonding characteristics of the a-C:H thin films was analyzed using FTIR spectroscopy. The absorption peaks of the film were observed in the range of 2800∼3000 cm^-1. So bonding structure of a-C:H thin films as a function of the deposition parameter have sp³ bonding mostly and some sp² bonding. The structure of the a-C:H thin films changes CH₃ bonding to CH₂ or CH bonding as increasing deposition time. The reduction of the absorption peaks in the a-C:H thin films fabricated as a function of DC self bias voltage could be the result of dehydrogenation due to the breaking of the C-H bonds caused by increasing ion impact.
