      • Parmenides의 存在論에 관한 一考

        Among the Greek philosophers, Parmenides is famous for his exact logical method of contemplation into the nature of 「Being」, which results, at first sight, in some pecular theory of universe. Especially, in his disciple Zeno's argument for denying plurality of reality, and movement, there is a certain kind of necessity compelling us to follow his logical deduction in spite of the resulting absurdity in view of our external experiences. Their ontology deprives the world we know of all claim to existence and reduces it something which is hardly even an illusion. In this paper I have analysed their logical deduction with a view to inspect the nature of the theory and considered their ontological effects upon western philosophical thought in relation to the traditional deffinition of truth. For, although I have found some logical complication contained in parmenidesian ontology which leads us to confuse unconsciously between rule of contradiction and contradiction, It doesn't seem to be so simple problem that we may say with certainty that parmenidesian ontology is based on paralogism. Their ontology is concerned not soley with logic but with truth itself.

        Ce qui fait etonner Bergson dans les solutions donne'es aux divers proble`mes philo-Sophiques, comme les a enregistre'es I'histoire de la philosophie, c'est leur caracte`re Controidictoire soit par rapport a` I'experience immediate soit par rapport aux a`utres Solutions. Comme exemple typique des contradictions auquelles about it la plupart des Philosophies, Bergson semble choisir avec pre`dilection les paradoxes de Ze`non d'Ele`e. Quoique ces paradoxes semblent porter sur des cas tre`s spe'ciaux Bergson les consi-de`re comme tre`s typiques des erreurs que commet I'intelligence en suivant sa pente naturelle. Dans I'analyse et la critique de ce sophisme, les tendencies les plus profondes de la philosophie Bergsonienne ont occasion de se manifester, ce'st-a`-dire, elles lui donnent le plus puissant argument pour la critique des proce'de's habituels de travail de I'intelligence. Donc, avant e'tudier la theorie de connaissance Bergsonienne(I'intuition), il faut avant tout montrer la source de I'erreur ge'ne'ral d'intelligence apparu dans la critique des arguments de Ze'non, expliquer son apparition et si possible, montrer me^-me qu'elle est ine'vitable de's que certains fausses pre'mises sont admises. Quoique la reponse a` cette question est loin d'e^tre unique, cette essai tente a' expliquer I'intertion des arguments de Ze'non et trouver la pense'e Bergsonienne sur le mouvement en comparaison avec la Ze'nonienne

        자동신경 냉각장치를 이용한 흡식반사와 호식반사의 온도특성 측정

        Characteristics of the lung inflation and deflation reflexes were measured at various temperatrues on the cervical vagi in five anesthetized mongrel dogs. Nerve temperature was maintained at the body temperature, and $2-14^{\circ}C$ with $2^{\circ}C$ apart using a specially designed automated vagal cooling apparatus with an accuracy to within ${\pm}0.1^{\circ}C$ at each temperature. The inflation reflex was blocked abruptly at $8-10^{\circ}C$. The deflation reflex started weakened at $14^{\circ}C$, thereafter showed a gradual blockade with the temperature decreased with a substantial variance among the animals. It was approximately 75% blocked at $2-6^{\circ}C$. These differences in temperature characteristics made it hard to differentiate the deflation reflex from the inflation reflex. In one animal, however, the inflation reflex was completely blocked with the deflation reflex almost alive at $6-8^{\circ}C$. This suegests that differential cold blockade of the vagal reflexes can be done only in selected subjects. Fur- thermore, the fact that these two reflexes were blocked at different temperatures may be due to the differences in the nerve fiber size and the changes in the conduction velocity with temperature.

      • 베르그송에 있어서 純粹知覺(perception pure)의 문제

        Le probleme de la perception est devenu le noyeau de la connaissance dans la pensee phenomenaliste. Pour comprendre pourquoi la perception est devenue si importante, il faut chercher une pensee intermediate de la pensee phenomenaliste et la pensee traditionele. Nous l'avons trouvee dans la pensee bergsonienne. Chez Bergson, la perception consiste dans ce que nous agissons dans le monde du flux dont les images agissent et reagissent les uns sur les autres dans toute leur parties. L'image, comme Bergson dit, est une existence qui est plus ce que l'idealiste appelle une representation, mais moins ce que ce que realiste appelle une chose, puisque chez Bergson l'existence implique deux conditions reunis: 1. la presentaion a la connaissance, 2. la connection causale. Donc, la theorie de la perception bergsonienne est differente de la theorie de la representation qui consiste dans l'explication scientifique ou causale. Bergson critique la paradoxe logicale de la theorie de la representation. Mais, il y a aussi une paradoxe hans l'explication bergsonienne, cest-a-dire, double sens dans la signification de la perception pure chez Bergson, dont l'une est la matiere flux, et l'une autre est l'image qui reflexe les actions de norte corps. Bergson introduit la theorie de l'intuition pour resoudre le double sens de la perception pure. Bien que la solution bergsonienne soit inacceptable, nous trouvons un sens analogique parmi l'intention de l'esprit chez Bergson et la intentionalite de la conscience phenomenaliste.

        L'intuition est la methode philosophieque qui veut elucider la duree, le noyeau de la philophie berfsonienne. Mais, il y a deux manieres de expliquer la duree, dont un est que la duree n'est pas explicable explicitement par les mots, puisque n'ayant pas de contours arrestes, la duree c'est-a-dire, etats de conscience se compenetrent, s'organisent ensemble. Il n'implique pas une multiplicite quantitative de moments susceptibles d'etre contes, et l'autre est que la duree concrete ou vecu unit la distinction des etats successifs et leur implication mutuelle, exclution et inclusion. Donc, il y a deux maniere d'interpreter l'intuition bergsonienne qui est ce movement par lequel nous nous portons vers object pour coincider avec ce qu'il a d'unique. L'une est ce que l'intuition qui parle "impossible." L'autre est ce que l'intuition est une methed de connaissance qui est different de l'analyse de l'interlligence, c'est-a-dire la method de connaissance conventionelle. Cette essai consiste dans l'interpretation de l'intuition bergsonienne en vue de la theorie de la connaissance pour comprendre la signification de la methode intuitive dans la philosophie bergsinienne.

      • 3차원 선간정전용량 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 연구

        This study calculate the capacitance between the conductor line stuructures. The relation of charge distribution between the conductor line and the surface grounded is modeled, Laplace equation is solved to obtain the 3-dimensional distribution of electrostatic potential in the conductor lines using by numerical analysis, finite element method with 3-dimensional mesh structure. The Galerkin method is used to discretize the space domain given. The above method is adopted the structure with one- and two-interconnection line, respectively. And then, the charge of conductor line surface is integrated from the normal factor of potential gradient using by Gauss theory. The results of this study are compared with the previous 2-dimensional calculation for the various design structure of interconnection line.

        Convection-enhanced Technique을 이용한 항암제의 지속적인 종양내 주입:초기임상연구

        Objective : Because of the limited penetration into the central nervous system after systemic administration of numerous therapeutic compounds, intratumoral chemotherapy for brain tumors has also been used. However, the efficacy of intratumoral drug administration is restricted by the poor diffusion of drug through tumor and brain interstitium. In order to enhance the diffusion of chemotherapeutic agent and increase the cytotoxicity with minimal dose, the authors report the results of convection-enhanced delivery(CED) of chemotherapeutic agent to the malignant brain tumor as a method of enhancing cerebral drug delivery. Methods : Authors used “CADD-Micro ambulatory infusion pump” from Deltec, which can be programmed for continuous infusion. Intratumoral injection of chemotherapeutic drug using the pump was applied to eight patients with glioma and one patient with lymphoma. Surgery was done and tumor was removed as much as possible. The tip of catheter was placed in the center of tumor cavity. Adriamycin(0.16 0.32mg) was put in the reservoir which was connected to the proximal catheter and fixed in the pump device. Twenty-four hours after surgery, Adriamycin was infused. Results : There was no adverse reaction of CED technique. Compared with current delivery techniques, the improvement of survival rate has been observed (5 patients : alive, 3 patients : dead, 1 patient : lost (alive to 5 mo.)). Conclusion : CED can be useful method for distributing therapeutic molecules in the interstitial space of tumor and can be utilized for chemotherapeutic agents, immunotoxins, and gene etc.

        When treating dysphagia, “Functional electrical stimulation” is used for the purpose of improving muscle function, which is useful for swallowing. During swallowing, contraction of suprahyoid muscle is one of the first events that triggers the swallowing reflex and helps the bolus prevent aspiration during swallowing. Moreover, one of the aims of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) on the neck is to augment the hyolaryngeal elevation. However, depending on the current intensity and electrodes placement, the outcomes may vary. Although FES is a relatively new treatment method in comparison to traditional treatment techniques for dysphagia, presenting clear evidence and effectiveness is uncertain due to the application of various techniques. Therefore, this study is designed to know the effects of FES according to intensity of stimulation and placement of electrode.
