Pseudomembranous colitis, caused by altering the normal colonic flora and allowing the multiplication of Clostridium difficile, is an deleterious adverse effect of antibiotics. But it is rarely reported by rifampicin. Rifampicin is one of the first line drug in the treatment of tuberculosis and many patients are exposed to its potential adverse effects. We experienced a patient that had abdominal discomfort and hematochezia due to pseudomembranous colitis after receiving antituberculous medication, and which was probably caused by rifampicin. A 82 years old man was admitted with abdominal discomfort and hematochezia for one week. On the past history he had been diagnosed as endobronchial tuberculosis about 4 months ago. Colonoscopy revealed multiple discrete whitish mucosal lesion on rectosigmoid colon, and histologic findings were consistent with pseudomembranous colitis. The antituberculous agents were discontinued and vancomycin was administered. The patient's symptoms were resolved within several days. There was no recurrence after reinstitution of the antituberculous agents excluding rifampicin. We report here on a case of pseudomembranous colitis probably due to rifampicin.

가변전광표지(Variable Message Sign, VMS)는 「도로의 구조 · 시설 기준에 관한 규칙」 제38조에 의하여 설치하는 교통관리시설로, 도로교통의 원활한 소통과 안전을 도모하고 교통사고를 방지하기 위한 도로부속시설이다. 가변전광표지(VMS)는 도로이용자에게 도로, 기상 및 교통의 상황이나 그에 따른 교통규제의 상황에 관한 필요한 정보를 실시간으로 제공함으로써 교통흐름을 원활하게 하고 안전한 통행을 하도록 하는 시설로써 지능형 교통시스템( ITS: Intelligent Transport Systems) 구축사업의 일환으로 설치 · 운영되고 있으며, 현재 전국적으로 확대 구축되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 기 구축된 VMS는 그 설치와 운영에 관한 일관된 기준 없이 설계자 및 운영자의 임의판단에 의하여 설치되고 있다. 차량운전자의 가시거리, 판독가능거리, 소실거리, 인지가능 메시지 수 등 인간공학적 특성에 대한 적정한 연구 없이 설치 · 운영되고 있다. 또한, 도로이용자의 운전행태 및 안전은 배제된 상황에서 단순한 도로 기하구조 및 교통특성만을 고려하여 개략적인 설치위치만을 말해준다. 가변전광표지(VMS)는 안전을 도모하는 시설임에 불구하고 안전을 고려하여 설치되어 있지 않다.

Tilting trains is a train can enable to improve the train speed as a trian rounds a curved rail by tilting the body to the opposite way against centrifugal force and has a lot of strong points in domestic land has lots of mountain area causes many curved lines with the least improvement of facilities. Especially when it's possible to provide Tilting train service, it would cause many troubles for drivers to have to deal with. because they couldn't have enough experience to drive tilting train can run upto 10~30 Km/h than the one of ordinary train. and we do not have operated tilting train yet. So we have to be sure driving safety of all things, as tilting train is a brand new rolling stocks has complicated system and mechanism. Hence, we have developed standard manual for drving and an instructions of emergency procedures of tilting train for drivers in case of emergency than makes sure of driving safety. we also tried to make sure of comprehensive safety in case of providing tilting train service investigating a method reducing risk by PHA, which should be conducted ahead of introducing of new rolling stocks.
Laboratory Performance Evaluation of Recycled Asphalt Binders with Differing Rejuvenators

PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to investigate the properties of recycled asphalt binders with five different rejuvenators, in order to evaluate the applicability of the recycled asphalt binders compared with the original asphalt binder. METHODS: In order to simulate recycled asphalt binders, fresh asphalt binders are aged by various Superpave aging procedures, such as the rolling thin-film oven (RTFO) and the pressure aging vessel (PAV). Then, selected rejuvenators are added to the aged asphalt binders in the amount of 5%, 10%, and 15%. The asphalt binder properties are evaluated by the dynamic shear rheometer (DSR), the rotational viscometer (RV), and the bending beam rheometer (BBR). In this study, AP-5 (penetration grade 60-80, PG 64-16) asphalt binder is used. A total of five types of rejuvenators are employed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS : When considering aged asphalt without a new asphalt binder, it seems that the percentage of rejuvenator used in Korea is a bit too low, and that it fails to possess the characteristics of the original binder. From the current practice of evaluating the properties of recycled binder based on penetration ratio only, the amount of rejuvenator required is similar for the long-term-aged binder, but is excessive for the longest-term aged binder, causing deterioration of workability and stiffness of the recycled binder.
어린이보호구역 토지이용 특성에 따른 교통사고 감소효과 분석

교통약자인 어린이들을 교통사고로부터 보호하기 위해 1995년에 “어린이보호구역의 지정 및 관리에 관한 규칙”이 행정자치부, 건설교통부, 교육부의 공동부령으로 제정되었다. 이로 인해 1980년대 14세 미만 어린이들의 교통사고 관련 사망자 수가 약 1,500명이었던 것이 점차 감소하여 2006년에는 276명이 사망한 것으로 나타났다. 이후 2003년부터 어린이보호구역 개선사업이 본격적으로 시행되기 시작해서 2007년도를 마지막으로 1단계 어린이보호구역 개선사업이 종료되고, 2008~2012년까지 2단계 어린이보호구역 개선사업이 실시될 예정이다(총 사업비 : 1조 5,150억원).
