      • Seed Germination in the Vitaceae : Ⅰ. Responses of Parthenocissus tricuspidata Seeds to Stratification and Temperature

        Influence of moist chilling at 3°C and subsequent germination temperature on seed germination of Parthenocissus tricuspidata (Sieb. & Zucc.) Planch. Was studied. 1.Seed germination of P. tricuspidata increased between 20° and 25°C by prolonged chilling of 8 to 12 weeks. 2.Percent seed germination was higher at 20°C than 25°C, but germination rate was higher at 25°C. 3.Length of time for germination(LTG) and germination span (GS) in days were decreased by prolonged chilling. LTG and GS were also lower at 25°C than 20°C. 4.P. tricuspidata seemed to be a dark germinating species.

        This study was carried out to develope a flow control system using to supply PR(photo-resist) in the semi-conductor manufacturing process. The features of this system are to be able to measure the high viscosity and micro-flow. To meet above study object some ideas was induced to design a new concept valve with new material, multi-cross wheel, and new sealing method etc.. As the evaluations on the developed micro-flowmeter it was enough satisfied to use at the IT industries such as photo-resist process.

        치아별 우식경험도로 본 유치열의 우식패턴에 관한 연구

        To study the caries patterns in primary dentition, 719 preschool children, 4-6 years old, were examined for their caries activity(salivary reductase activity)and caries experience of individual teeth. Teeth froups were made by cluster analysis using dft of individual teeth as criteria. The six major teeth groups in the order of dft index from high to low were (1) lower primary molars, (2) upper primary molars, (3) upper central incisor, (4) upper lateral incisor, (5) canines, and (6) lower incisors. There were significant differences in dft index between teeth groups except upper lateral incisor and canines. Upper and lower primary molars showed the highest correlation in dft index, and the next couples were upper central incisors and upper lateral incisous, upper lateral incisor upper lateral incisor and canines, upper central incisor and canines, upper lateral incisor and upper primary molars, and canines and upper primary molars in descending order. Upper first primary molar showed the greatest differences in dft index between caries activity levels.

        연령과 속도 조건이 축구 패스의 타이밍 정확성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 다양한 속도 조건에서 연령이 증가함에 따라 나타나는 타이밍의 시간 정확성과 타이밍 일관성의 발달적 변화 경향을 구명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 축구의 패스 과제와 버튼 누르기 과제를 본 연구 과제로 설정하였으며, 연구 대상자는 9세, 11세, 13세, 15세의 4개 연령별로 15명씩 총 60명으로 하였다. 자극의 속도는 시속 1마일, 4마일, 7마일, 10마일 네 가지 속도 조건을 무선적으로 제시하였으며 버튼 과제는 각 속도별 5회씩 총 20회, 패스과제는 각 속도별 9회씩 총 36회를 실시하였다. 예측 반응 측정기(Bassin Anticipation Timer)를 이용해 자체 제작한 타이밍 정확성 검사 도구를 통하여 타이밍 정확성의 시간 오차를 산출하였고 산출된 오차를 절대오차, 항상오차, 가변오차로 분류하여 연령과 속도 조건별로 이원 변량 분석(Two-way ANOVA)을 실시한 결과, 유소년의 패스 과제 수행 시 타이밍의 시간 정확성은 연령이 증가할수록 향상을 나타냈으며 시간 타이밍이 가장 정확하게 나타나는 속도 조건은 시속 4마일이었다. 버튼 과제 수행 시 타이밍의 시간 정확성은 패스 과제와 마찬가지로 연령이 증가할수록 유의하게 향상되었다. 패스 과제 수행 시 타이밍의 일관성은 11세 이후 연령이 증가할수록 향상되었으며 이때의 타이밍 일관성은 시속 10마일에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 버튼 과제 수행 시 타이밍 일관성은 빠른 속도 조건(시속 7마일과 10마일)일 때만 연령이 증가할수록 향상되는 모습을 보였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of age and speed of stimulus on coincidence-anticipation timing. There were four groups consisting of 15 boys in each group. The ages of each group were 9, 11, 13, and 15. The tasks were a push of a button and a pass of a soccer ball. The speed of stimulus were four conditions: 1, 4, 7, and 10mph(mile/hour) and randomly given to the subjects. All participants executed 20 trials(5 trials per each speed) of a button task and 36 trials(9 trials per each speed) of a pass task. The timing error of coincidence- anticipation task was recorded by using Bassin Anticipation Timer, and then AE(absolute error), CE(constant error), and VE(variable crror) were computed. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) of AE, CE, and VE. The result of this study is following: First, in a pass task, timing accuracy improved significantly as the age increased and showed the highest value at 4mph of speed. Second, in a button task, timing accuracy improved significantly as the age increased and showed the highest value at 8 and 9mph of speed. Third, in a pass task, thiming consistency improved only after 11 years of age as the age increased and showed only at 7mph and 10mph as the age increased and showed the highest value from 7mph to 10mph of speed.

        A survey to determine the copper content of early infant food sources was conducted. Collected samples from various lots were human milk from volunteer mothers and infant formula and market milk from markets. The determined results by atomic absorption spectrophotometer were as follows : 1.Averages of Cu were 34.26±13.89 μg/dl in human milk, 192.2±124.2 μg/dl in infant formula, 4.35±2.37 μg/dl in market milk and showed the decline trend by the lactation periods in human milk. (p<0.01) 2.Estimated daily intake of Cu from human milk was higher than that from infant formula in 3 months old infants.

      • 개선된 교통 신호 제어시스템 설계에 관한 연구

        There are various ways to operate traffic light system by varying the operational speed of the system. One of the solutions is to vary the length of the clock cycle of the system. It is difficult to vary the length of the signal in systems by varying the period of the clock cycle and nor it is a generalized technology in the current traffic systems. The traffic signal systems of the past used is simply a repetitive traffic signal system which traffic period is consistent, not considering the conditions of traffics. The system that will be introduced in this thesis could substantially improve efficiency of traffic flows by varying the length of traffic signal period with sensors which detect the presence of vehicles on both directions and allows the signal continuously on the direction where there are more waiting vehicles, and even skips the signal where there is no vehicle waiting. In this thesis, it introduces the methodology of detecting the spots that is detected by the sensors of the system and outputs green light in due order in accordance with the priority given to the system. In the meanwhile, the ratio of yellow light and green light is designed to be 1 to 8 in the way that maximizes the efficiency of traffic flows.

        유치원 아동의 Resazurin Disc검사에 의한 우식활성에 영향을 미친 요인에 관한 연구

        The puopose of this study was to analyze the influence of socioeconomic backgrounds and home dental behavior on the caries activity scores by resazurin disc method, 332 preschool children (boys 179, girls 153) in Iksan area were examined for their caries experience and caries activity. The parents of the children were asked to answer the questionnaire about socioeconomic backgrounds and home dental behavior. The sample was divided into five groups according to RD test score. The relationship between each group and a questionnaire was compared and analyzed. The following results were obtained. 1. No significant differences was found for child's age and sex, baby-sitter, sibling rank and tooth brushing frequency among five groups (p<0.05). 2. A statistical significance was obtained in the relationship between RD test score & dft rate (p<0.05). 3. No significant difference was found for parent's age, number of family and mother's physique among five groups (p<0.05). Siginificant difference was found for parent's education level among five groups (p<0.05). 4. No significant difference was found mother's oral hygiene state among five groups (p>0.05). 5. Children sucking human milk had more high RD test score than those who sucking bovine milk (p<0.05).
