      • E. coli에 의한 1세 미만 요로 감염의 치료에 방광요관역류가 미치는 영향

        Background : Vesicoureteral reflux(VUR) is the major cause of urinary tract infection(UTI) in children. The study was done to confirm the influence of vesicoureteral reflux on treatment of urinary tract infection. Methods : One hundred seventy one patients below 1 year old diagnosed with UTI by Escherichia. coli (E. coli) in the Department of Pediatrics, Dae-Dong Hospital from January, 2001 to December, 2005 were retrospectively enrolled to analyze relevant information obtained from medical record, including hematologic and urine analysis, renal ultrasonography, 99mTc-DMSA renal scan, antimicrobial susceptibilities and response of treatment, comparing two group of absence and presence of VUR. Results: Leukocytosis and decreased Hemoglobin level was predominent and the rate of bacteriuria and nitrite positivity were 84.1% and 40.4% respectively. Renal ultrasonography didn't contribute to the prognostication of VUR. Presentation of photopenic area in 99mTc-DMSA renal scan was related to VUR and the severity of VUR was significantly correlated with renal scar formation(P<0.05). Average count of administrated intravenous cefotaxime for treatment of UTI was 2.4 times until afebril state, 9.6 times until loss of pyuria and 2.2 times until no growth of Escherichia. coli in urine. Conclusion : There was no differentiations in WBC count, Hb level, urine analysis and response of treatment estimated by count of administrated intravenous cefotaxime until afebrile state, loss of pyuria and no growth of E. coli in urine between the group of absence and presence of VUR.

      • 치과용 고농도Pd계 금-은-팔라듐합금의 시효경화특성

        An Ag-Pd-Cu alloys containing a small amount of Au is commonly used for dental purposes, because this alloy is cheaper than Au-base alloys for clinical use. However, the most important characteristic of this alloy is age-hardenability, which is not exhibited by other Ag-base dental alloys. Dental Ag-Pd-Cu alloys exhibit the characteristics of age-hardenability. Palladium represses the sulphurization of silver, and the age-hardenability is caused by the addition of copper. In order to improve the corrosion resistance, a small amount of gold is added to the commercial alloys. The specimens used were Ag-Pd-Cu ternary alloy and Ag-Pd-Cu-Au alloy. These alloys were melted and casted by induction electric furnace and centrifugal casting machine in Ar atmosphere. They were rolled and drawn into plate and wire shape. These specimens were solution treated for 2hr at 800℃ and were then quenched into iced water, and aged at 350~550℃ Principal results are as follows : Hardening occured in two stages, stage Ⅰ in low temperature and stage Ⅱ in high temperature regions, during continuous aging. From the electron microscope study, it was concluded that the cause of age-hardening in this alloy is the precipitation of the PdCu ordered phase. It was very effective that addition of small amount of Au increased hardenability in Ag base dental alloy and increasing the Pd content of Ag base alloys also increased base dental alloy and increasing the Pd content of Ag base alloys also increased hardenability. The formation of the lamellar structure develpoed from grain boundaries by discontinuous precipitation. Ag-Pd-Cu alloy is more effective dental alloy as ageing treatment and is suitable to isothermal ageing at 450℃.

      • 휠체어농구선수의 심리기술과 자기관리 특성 분석

        본 연구는 휠체어농구선수와 장애가 없이 휠체어농구를 하는 선수 간 심리기술 및 자기관리의 수준과 심리기술이 자기관리에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2008년 현재 대한장애인농구협회에 등록된 모든 선수를 대상으로 실시하였으며, 응답이 부실한 설문지를 제외한 총 106명의 설문지를 대상으로 자료를 분석하였다. 설문에 응답한 106명 중 휠체어농구선수 집단은 59명, 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수 집단은 47명이었다. 본 연구의 조사도구는 유진(1996)의 운동선수 심리기술 검사지와 허정훈(2003)의 운동선수 자기관리 검사지를 사용하였다. 조사도구에 대한 타당성 검증은 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고 신뢰도 검증은 Cronbach's α를 실시하였다. 조사한 자료의 분석은 two-way ANOVA, Multiple Regression analysis를 실시하였으며, 유의수준은 α<.05로 설정하였다. 자료 분석 결과, 첫째, 장애유무와 포지션에 따른 심리기술에서는, 휠체어농구선수집단이 집중력과 불안조절에서 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수 집단보다 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 둘째, 장애유무와 경력에 따른 심리기술 중 목표설정과 심상에서 경력이 짧은 집단은 장애가 없는 휠체어농구선수집단이 높은 수준을 나타냈고, 그와 반대로 경력이 오래된 집단에서는 휠체어농구선수집단이 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 또한, 경력 4-6년 집단이 목표설정과 심상에서 제일 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 셋째, 선수들의 심리기술이 자기관리에 미치는 영향에서는 몸관리에서 목표설정과 팀조화가 영향을 미쳤고, 대인관리에서는 팀조화, 심상, 의지력이 영향을 미쳤으며, 훈련관리에서는 의지력, 심상, 목표설정, 팀조화가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라, 경기력 향상을 위해서는 휠체어농구 선수들에게 체력훈련과 기술훈련 외에 심리훈련을 병행 실시해야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study was to examine the level and relative influence of the psychological skills and self-management of wheelchair basketball athletes and able-bodied wheelchair basketball athletes. The subjects in this study were carried with every athlete who registered with the Korea Wheelchair Basketball Federation. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 106 participants were analyzed except for incomplete ones. Out of the 106 respondents, 59 persons were WA group, and 47 persons were AWA group. The instruments used in this study were Yu Jin's Athlete Psychological Skills Inventory and Heo Jeong-hun (2002)'s Athlete Self-Management Inventory. To verify the validity of the instruments, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out, and Cronbach alpha coefficient was utilized to test their reliability. For data analysis, two-way ANOVA, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were employed, and the level of significance was set at α<.05. As a result of data analysis, First, as for the relationship of the presence or absence of disabilities and position to psychological skills, the WA group was ahead of the AWA group in concentration and anxiety-control. Second, concerning the relationship of disabilities and career to psychological skills, the less-experienced athletes of the AWA group excelled their counterparts of the WA group at goal-setting and imagery, which were two of psychological skills. In the event of the experienced athletes, however, the WA group surpassed the AWA group in those regards. The athletes who had served as athletes for four to six years were most excellent in goal-setting and imagery. Third, the grade of skills made no difference to their level of psychological skills and self-management. Fourth, as to the impact of psychological skills on self-management, their healthcare was under the influence of goal-setting and teamwork; and teamwork, imagery and will-power had an impact on interpersonal skills. Training-management was affected by will-power, imagery, goal-setting and teamwork. Consequently, in aim to advance the athletic performance, it should co-apply psychological practice for the wheelchair basketball players in accordance with physical training and technical skill.

      • 釜山大學校 학생 써클활동 實態와 그 運營改善方案에 관한 調査硏究

        The present study deals with student circle activities at Pusan National University in an effort to improve student circle guidance. University circles are regarded as influencing an individual's self-growth. Two sources of data were used for this research. A total of 764 students at Pusan National University who were randomly sampled out of the registered students in 1982 Spring semester were the main subjects. Another source for the study were from 70 student circle leaders whose responses to another questionaire in a special leader training session held on October of 1982. Student respondents for this study were analyzed in three groups;(1) students who participate in circle activities at the time of the research, (2) students who participated in a circle in the past but not active at the time of the questionaire interview, (2) students who have never been members of a circle. The student respondents who were or have been members of the circles in which they participate:social service circles;academic circles; circles for special hobbies; religious circles; athletic circles for special hobbies; anti-communism circles. Some of the important findings from this research are summarized in the following. (1) Pusan National University students enjoy more student circle activities as demonstrated in the sheer number of student circle activities registered in the Student Affairs Section of the University. Circles with friendship purpose seem to decline, while circles for special hobbies and academic purposes tend to increase. (2) Many students were found to drop out of the circle activity mainly due to the lack of the circle activity information before their participation in those circle. More coeds than male students show this tendency. (3) Student circle members with specific purpose and goal in mind before participating in those circle regard aircle activity as contributing to the self-growth. (4) Many respondents think that circle activities are vital and necessary in the campus life. However, they do not find proper circle to paticipate. (5) The role of the student circle guidance professors was found to be important. (6) Problems for funding the student circles and finding meeting places for the circle activity remain to be solved. In short, the present study underlines the importance of the activization student activities which can be achieved through intensive circle guidance by circle advice professor and proper funding.

      • 양자교환 방식에 의한 방향성 결합기의 제작 및 특성연구

        In this study, a directional coupler which is fabricated on X-cut LiNbO₃ substrate by using proton exchange method is described. It is found that the directional coupler waveguide varied widely with controlling diffusion process. On the other hand, the on-off state of modulator is performed by annealing process and self-aligned electrodes are used in fabricating the direction coupler. As a results, the direction coupler has good characteristics : the measured on-off switching voltage of about 2.7-3V.

      • Hg^2+에 의한 토마토 뿌리조직 마이크로솜 H^+-ATPase의 가역적 저해

        토마토 뿌리조직의 마이크로솜 ATPase 활성에 대한 중금속의 효과를 조사하기 위하여 뿌리조직으로부터 마이크로솜을 분리하였고, enzyme-coupled assay를 이용하여 마이크로솜 이온펌프(ATPase)의 활성을 측정하였다. 여러 가지 중금속 이온들 중 Hg2+은 마이크로솜 ATPase 활성을 농도 의존적으로 저해하였으며, Gd3+ 과 Fe3+, La3+, Zn2+ 그리고 Pb2+ 등은 마이크로솜 ATPase의 활성을 현저히 저해하면서 동시에 assay에 사용된 효소를 저해하였다. 그러나, CS+과 BA2+은 마이크로솜 ATPase 활성에 영향을 미치지 않았다. Hg2+은 원형질막과 액포막에 위치하는 H+-ATPase들의 활성을 10 μM 이상의 농도에서 급격히 저해하였고, 1 mM 이상의 농도에서 완전히 저해하였으며, 두 효소들에 대한 활성저해의 Ki 값은 각각 80 , μM, 58 μM로 나타났다. Hg2+에 의해 저해된 ATPase의 활성은 DTT의 농도를 증가시킴에 따라 회복되어, HG2+에 의한 ATPase 활성저해는 가역적임을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과들은 Hg2+이 원형질막과 액포막에 위치한 H+-ATPase들을 비선택적이고 가역적으로 저해함을 보여준다. In order to characterize the effects of heavy metal ions on the microsomal ATPase activities, microsomes were prepared from the roots of tomato plant and the activity of microsomal ATPase was measured by an enzyme-coupled assay. Hg2+ inhibited the activity of microsomal ATPase in a dose-dependent manner, while Gd3+, Fe3+, La3+, Zn2+, and Pb2+ inhibited not only the ATPase activity but also the activities of enzymes used in the assay. However, Cs+ and Ba2+ showed no significant effect. Hg2+ inhibited the activities of both plasma membrane and vacuolar membrane H+-ATPases. In the dose-response to Hg2+, the activities of both microsomal H+-ATPases were severely inhibited at the concentration of Hg2+ above 10μM and were completely inhibited at 1 mM Hg2+. Apparent Ki values of Hg2+ on the inhibitions of plasma membrane and vacuolar membrane H+-ATPases were 80 μM and 58 μM, respectively. The Hg2+-induced inhibitions were reversible since the addition of dithiothreitol completely reversed the inhibitory effects of Hg2+.These results suggest that the inhibitory effects of Hg2+ on both plasma membrane and vacuolar membrane H+-ATPases are nonselective and reversible.

      • 도재소부용 저금함유금합금의 합금조성 및 물리적 특성에 관한 연구

        The success of the porcelain fused to metal (PFM) restoration depends not only on the choice of materials but to a larger degree on the technical skills and understanding of both the clinicians and tenicians. The design of the compositions of PFM is very important to esthetic restorative materials applying to porcelain. The purpose of this study is characteristics of low gold alloys for dental porcelain-fused to metal. The high Au alloy containing high gold contents is respectively Au(67%), Pt(3%), Pd(13%), Ag(12%), In(2%), Sn(2%), Ti(1%). These alloys are composed mainly of gold, platinium, silver and palladium with a few percent of the additional elements. By the addition of small amounts of elements such as In, Sn Ti, the fine grain castings are produced in gold alloy. These alloys have mechanical properties characteristics of Type III and Type IV gold alloys. These alloys are useful to porcelain-metal restorations and dental laboratory. Also dental laboratory tests are successful to porcelain-metal restorations using these alloys. The porcelain fused to metal(PFM) alloys containing gold are commonly use for dental purposes in dental laboratory. The chief effectiveness to the development of porcelain fused to metal(PFM) as a restorative material, either in prosthetic or crown & bridge procedures, is a success in which the economical and commercial factors is the principal force. Clinical application of these alloys can be directed toward the economical and commercial manufacture and production.
