        염증성 피부질환 개선 기능 소재로서 둥근전복(Haliotis discus) 유래 항균펩타이드 Ab4-7의 항염증 효과

        서해안에 서식하는 해양생물인 전복은 항산화 및 항염증 효과가 있으며, 항생제 개발 및 화장품 원료 등 다양한 산업에 활용될 수 있는 잠재력을 가진 자원이다. 본 연구에서 우리는 서해안의 다양한 해양 생물중에서 전복을 선택하였으며, 전복에서 분리한 항균펩타이드(AMP)를 이용하여 항균펩타이드 유도체인 Ab4-7를 규명하고 생리활성을 연구하였다. Ab4-7의 항염증 효능을 확인하기 위해 염증이 유도된 RAW 264.7에 Ab4-7을 처리한 결과, 염증성 사이토카인, TLR4, TNF-α, IL-1β, COX-2, iNOS 등을 억제하고 항산화와 관련된 유전인자인 HO-1의 mRNA 발현을 증가시켰다. Ab4-7의 강력한 항산화 및 항염증 효과를 바탕으로, 염증이 유도된 RAW 264.7 세포에서 Ab4-7이 extrocellular matrix metalloproteinase (ECM) 분해에 관여하여 다양한 염증성 피부질환을 유도하는 유전자인 matrix metalloproteinase (MMPs)를 조절하는 효과를 RT-PCR을 통해 확인하였다. Ab4-7은 강력한 항염증 및 항산화 효과를 가지고 있으며, 항염증 및 항산화 효과를 통한 MMPs 관련 유전인자 조절을 통해 다양한 염증성 피부질환 치료제의 기능성 재료로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다. Abalone, a marine organism inhabiting the west coast of Korea, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and is a resource with potential to be used in various industries such as antibiotic development and cosmetic raw materials. In this study, we chose abalone among various marine lives on the west coast. Antibacterial peptide (AMP) was separated from abalone and its derivative Ab4-7 was identified and its physiological activity was studied. The treatment of Ab4-7 in inflammatory RAW 264.7 to check the anti-inflammatory efficacy nhibited inflammatory cytokines, TLR4, TNF-α, IL-1β, COX-2, and iNOS and increased mRNA manifestation of HO-1, genes related to antioxidants. Based on the strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of Ab4-7, the effects of Ab4-7 in the inflammatory RAW 264.7 cells were identified through RT-PCR, which regulates the gene Matrix Metalloproteinase (MMPs) that induces a variety of inflammatory skin diseases by engaging in the decomposition of the extrocellular matrix metalloproteinase (ECM). Taken together, it is concluded that Ab4-7 has a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect and can be used as a functional material for various inflammatory skin disease treatments by controlling the genes associated with matrix metalloproteinase (MMPs).

      • 개에서 발생한 척수질환에 대한 추적조사(70예)

        This study was performed to evaluate the prevalence of spinal disorders in dogs, as well as their breed, age, gender and body weight distributions. Seventy cases of caine spinal disoreders presented in the period 2001 and 2006 were reviewed. The diagnosis was obtained by survey radiographs, myelogram, CSF analysis, CT and MRI. The most frequent breed was Maltese(15 cases), and followed by Yorkshire Terrier (10 cases), Pekingese (9 cases). Canine spinal disorders occurred from 7 month to 17 year old dog, mean age was 5.3±3.7 year-old. Canine spinal disorders occurred more often in females(59.7%) than males. Mean body weight was 5.87±7.02 kg. Degenerative (39 cases, 43.3%) and anomalous (24 cases, 26.7%) disorders were dominant in 90 specific disease distribution. This results can be a reference data for the further study.

      • 유통경로성과에 관한 국제간 비교 연구 : 한국과 일본을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to compare the channel performance of Korea with that of Japan on the basis of evaluation criteria such as effectiveness, efficiency and equity. Three approches can be used to classify the detrminants of channel peformance as follows: channel system as a whole vs. individual channel members, Behavior-based vs. Outcome-Based, and positivistic vs. ecological approach. Among them, the third approach, the ecological method is selected as measuring the peformance of two countries' distribution system. While Japanese distribution system is superior to Korean distribution system in two factors of effectiveness and eqity, the former is inferior to the latter in a factor of efficiency. Korean distribution system shows low peformance on the consumer satisfaction and responsiveness of the consumer demand. Therefore, Korea should invest on the distribution information system, and try to improve its service level to consumers. In order to improve its productivity, Korean distribution institution is proposed to be toward one to one or differential marketing strategy rather than mass marketing strategies of maximizing sales.

        대형경유차 저공해기술 적용에 따른 나노입자 배출특성

        Diesel engines which emit a lot of PM and NOx have been known as a main air polluter. Especially, diesel particulate matters (DPM) including black smoke are hazardous air pollutants to human health and environment. The nations retaining advanced engine technologies have reinforced emission regulations. To meet these regulations diesel engine manufacturers have developed low-emission diesel engines, aftertreatment equipments, alternative fuel technologies and so on. In this study, particle number concentrations characteristics according to particle size and engine driving conditions were analyzed when these low-emission technologies were applied. There was a tendency of increasing particle number concentrations from heavy-duty diesel engines with increasing engine rpm and load rate. In the cases of CDPF (Catalytic Diesel Particulate Filter), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) engine and ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) more than 99% of particle number concentration were removed.

        연취급 근로자들의 면역능의 변동에 관한 조사

        Lead induced immunological responses were examined in 16 workers who were occupationally exposed to lead, and 8 healthy meadical students who did not have previous history of lead exposure. The proportion of OKT3+ cell, OKT4+ cell, OKT8+ cell, B cell to the total lymphocytes in peripheral blood and the ratio of OKT4+ cell to OKT8+ cell(OKT4/OKT8) were used to assess the immunological effects. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. In the lead workers, blood lead (21.7 ±7.6㎍/100㎖), zinc protoporphyrin (53.1 ±29.9㎍/100㎖) and urinary lead (54.8 ±17.7㎍/ℓ) were significantly higher than those of the nonexposed subjects (p<0.01). 2. The proportion of OKT3+ cell, OKT4+ cell and OKT4+/OKT8+ were lower in lead workers compared to nonexposed subjects. But this difference was not statistically significant (p>0.1). 3. The proportion of B cell was slightly higher in lead workers compared to nonexposed subjects (P=0.15). 4. The proportion of OKT8+ cell of lead workers was comparable to that of nonexposed subjects.

        This study was analyzed the validity and the reliability of evaluation norm. which was used in choosing and grading events of the General Motor Ability Test. The General Motor Ability Test has been done for applicants for entrance to the department of physical education, college of education, Pusan National University. The subjects of this study were 433 applicants(men :387, women :46) for three years. They were tested in seven events : 1) 100m Dash, 2) 1500m Run(man), 800m Run (woman), 3) Throwing Hand-Ball, 4) Broad Jump, 5) Chinning(man), Flexed-Arm Hang(woman), 6) Zig-Zag Run, 7) Trunk Flexion. The results could be summerized as follows ; 1. In 100m Dash, 1500m Run, and Throwing Hand-Ball, man's average records were shown normal distribution which was inclined toward low ll grade. Therefore, the interval size of those three events must be regulated to lower. 2. Average records of Broad Jump in man were distributed into high (1) grade. So, the interval size must be adjusted to higher. 3. In Chinning, Zig-Zag Run, ad Trunk Flexion, man's average records were shawn normal distribution, and the interval size was similar to present records. 4. For woman, it was impossible to analyze correctly in all seven events because of the small number of subjects. So, it was for the sake of the reference. 5. The record of applicants for three years were operated to the variable quantity analysis. And the restults were these ; 100m Dash was F=3.0865(p<0.05), Chinning F=3.9309(p<0.05), Broad Jump F=14.7338(p<0.001), Throwing Hand-Ball F=4.9716(p<0.01), and Zig-Zag Run F=6.8297(p<0.001). Then, it was shown statistical meaningful difference in three groups. 6. In investigating the validity in choosing seven events, it was concluded that the events have been chosen reasonably. Because all events except for 100m Dash, and Zig-Zag Run in man were independent. From the analysis of the General Motor Ability Test, we could realized the necessity of regulating the standard and the interval size in several events. Then, we proposed the new evaluation norm which was suitable to present situation.

        톨루엔 디이소시아네이트 폭로 근로자들의 작업방법에 따른 대사물질의 비교 및 면역능에 관한 연구

        Following recent advanced industrialization, the amount of polyurethane to use as thermal insulating materials, upholstery, mattresses and packing materials in automotive and furniture industry is increasing world-widely, and the number of polyurethane-producing worker will be increased. Because the numerous organic solvents are used in polyurethane-producing factory, the workers in this work site is exposed to many organic solvents. Of the organic solvents, Toluene Diisocyanate(TDI) has many hazardous effects to human. The effects of TDI on human are the irritation to respiratory mucosa and gastrointestinal symptoms. Conjunctival irritation, dermal inflammation (redness, pain, vesicular formation) and gastrointestinal symptom(nausea, vomiting. abdominal pain) are reported just after short-term exposure of TDI. TDI is known to give rise to bronchial asthma, as the immune disorder. And because of strongly volatile characteristics of TDI, it is suggested as a more injurious material to human health, especially human immune system, than other organic solvents. Bronchial asthma inducing mechanism of TDI is not clearly known, but on the analogy of TDI induced symptoms and recent studies, early-onset asthma is type I hypersensitivity reaction mediated by immunoglobulin E(IgE), and late-onset asthma is maybe type III hypersensitivity reaction by circulating IgG. And we know that the complicated human immune function is likely to move in such that mechanisms, there are not studies on immune indices evaluating the bronchial asthma-related immune function. The evaluation of change patterns of humoral immunity including IgE and IgG and cellular immunity including T-helper cell. T-suppressor cell and T-cytotoxic cell will be helpful to evaluate exposure degrees and prognosis in TDI exposed workers. Because TDA(toluene diamine) as a biological exposure index of TDI becomes the focus of interest, we know that a study on the correlation between urinary TDA and air TDI and immunological indices will make a contribution to biological effect monitoring indicies. We examined human immunity indicators such as WBC, %Lymph (percentile of Lymphocyte in WBC), %T-cell(percentile of T-lymphocyte in total lymphocyte). CD4, CD8, C3, C4, IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE in peripheral blood to evaluate the health hazard of the TDI-exposed workers. And we examined TDA to evaluate correlation between exposure and effect. Total 90 subjects was selected, 45 workers who worked in the polyurethane-producing factories as an exposed group, and 45 cases who were office workers(10 cases), other blue collors(27 cases), and medical college students(8 cases) as a control group. And the results were as follows; 1. The logarithm of IgE-Log10(IgE)±SD-in peripheral blood of a exposed group was significantly higher than a control group, 2.22 ±0.62 in case group compared with 1.98±0.53 in control group. (p<0.05) 2. IgA and IgM in the polyurethane-producing workers were 261.02±83.12㎎/㎗, 151.97 ±59.64 ㎎/㎗, respectively, and 292.77±100.45, 179.17±100.78 in control group. IgA and IgM was slightly lower in polyurethane-producing group than control.(p>0.05) 3. WBC, %Lymph. %T-cell, C3, C4, CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8 ratio and IgG in case group were 6.391.1 ea/㎖, 37.53 %, 59.54 %, 76.68 ㎎/㎗, 0.76×10(9) ea/L, 0.63×10(9) ea/L, 1.39, and 1606.29 ㎎/㎗, respectively, and 6,974.7 ea/㎖, 35.12 %, 59.64 %, 71.95 ㎎/㎗, 33.94 ㎎/㎗, 0.80×10(9) ea/L, 0.61×10(9) ea/L, 1.39, and 1581.51 ㎎/㎗ in control group. There was no statistical significance between two groups.(p>0.05) 4. In the comparison of each other companies, average of individual urinary TDA in polyurethane paint manufacturing companies is higher than that of polyurethane sponge foaming companies. And, the concentration of 2.6-TDA which is a metabolite of well-vaporized 2.6-TDI is higher than that of 2.4-TDA in the polyurethane sponge foaming companies. But, the concentration of 2.4-TDA which is a metabolite of illvaporized but well skin-absorbed 2.4-TDI is higher in polyurethane paint manufactures. 5. There were no statistical significance in the correlations between individual urinary TDA and immunologic indices.
