      • Ocular MALT Lymphoma : Report of Two Cases

        Lymphoma arising in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) is extranodal marginal zone lymphoma displaying a proliferation of follicle marginal zone-type cells(centrocyte-like cells or monocytoid B-cells), often with surrounding reactive germinal centers and lympoepithelial lesions. This typically expresses pan-B-cell markers and monotypic immunoglobulin but not CD5 or CD10. Ocular MALT consists of the lacrimal gland, lcular soft tissue, orbit, conjunctiva and cornea. Lymphoma arising in thses sites is of very rare occurrence in up to 1.5% of all patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Herein we report two cases of ocular MALT lymphoma which was very rare in the dermatologic field. Case 1, 73-year-old man, developed the right upper conjunctival swelling measuring about 2.0×2.5cm for about 1 year. Histologically, the excised lesion showed follicular centers and infiltration of centrocyte-like cells of B-cell lineage in the stroma but no lymphoepithelial lesions, consistent with low-grade B-cell lymphoma. Case 2, a 66-year-old female, had a rapid course of about 1.2×1.0cm-sized, soft, wellow mass arising from lacrimal gland of the right upper eyelid for about 1 month. Hostologically, the lesion showed diffuse patterend features admixed with centrocyte-like cells and large cells such as centroblast, compatible with high-grade lymphoma. Case 2 received combined chemotherapy of m-BACOD, with a somewhat improvement.

      • 이동구간 제어를 이용한 물탱크의 온도제어기 설계

        In this paper, we designed of a temperature controller in the water-tank system using Receding horizon control(RHC). The system consists two water tanks which are connected with two pipes. There are a water-pump in a pipe to circulate water between two tanks. Our goal is to maintain a desired temperature in a tank by controlling temperature of the other tank. The temperature control system, which has a large time delay, a nonlinear temperature characteristics, perturbations, disturbances, was designed based on Receding horizon control(RHC) with a terminal output weighting of its stochastic state model. In this paper, we showed that RHC could easily be applied for the system to track the desired temperature, because it took the receding horizon strategy for both controller and filter.

      • 선속 변화에 의한 능동형 횡 동요감쇠장치의 효과

        제주대학교 실습선 아라호에 장착된 능동형 횡 동요 감쇠장치의 성능이 선박의 속력과의 관계를 파악 하기 위하여 선박을 정지, 미속, 중속, 전속으로 구분하여 횡 동요 감쇠장치를 정지(Passive A.R.T), 작동(Active A.R.T)을 했을 때 경사계에 의한 횡 동요각 및 종 동요각, 풍속계에 의한 풍속의 변화에 의한 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 선박이 정지했을 때가 능동형 횡 동요 감쇠장치의 1/3, 1/10 횡 동요각 유의 진폭에서 감소률이 가장 높아 47.2%, 50.3%를 나타냈으며, 반면에 중속인 경우 가장 낮은7.1%, 7.4% 나타내므로, 이 장치는 선속의 변화에 차이가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 2. 선속의 변화에 따라 그 효율이 많은 차이가 있으므로 이 장치를 장착한 선박의 운항자는 이를 감안하여 작동하여야 할 것으로 생각되며, 통계분석 결과에 의해서 선속과 감소률의 관계를 회귀분석식으로 나타내어 보면 다음과 같았다. 즉, 횡동요각 유의 진폭 (Amplitude of and significant roll (φ_(1/3)) : y= -3.233χ + 45.613 횡동요각 유의 진폭 (Amplitude of and significant roll (φ_(1/10)) : y= -3.157χ + 46.840을 각각 얻을 수 있었다. This experimental paper deals with the performance of tanks that are turned the active A.R.T(Anti-Rolling Tank) when the fluid transfers from wing tanks to the opposite tank by the power developed by the automatic control system (INTERING Stabilizer), which was installed in the fishery training ship T/S. A - RA (G/T : 990 tons) of Cheju National University. In this paper, the author has tested the performance of INTERING Stabilizer from the signals obtained by the inclinometer in irregular waves and compared with the results obtained in passive mode operation at stop and at various ship speeds. The performances of the system were confirmed the results as follows through the tests : 1. The Rates of reduction in significant roll(φ_(1/3)) of performance of Active-Rolling Tank at stop. dead slow ahead, half ahead, full ahead were obtained 47.2%, 26.3%, 7.7% 9.7%, respectively. 2. The operators had to consider to be different to change according to the various ship speeds for working. and the author could get the linea regressions about the rates of reduction at the results of a statistical analysis through the time histories of rolling angles in A.R.T. in irregular waves using various ship's speeds.         In this paper, results of test about machinability of the carbide tools having various tool angle on light cutting are described. The conclusion is as follows ; 1. According to the increase of cutting speed, specific cutting forces are decreased. 2. According to the increase of cutting speed and feed, chip width and chip thickness are both decreased. 3. The experimental roughness of working surface became smaller than theoretical roughness. 4. Size of burrs decreased with increase of disengage angle.

        인공지반의 조경적 활용에 관한 국내 연구동향 : 옥상녹화를 중심으로

        This study aims at understanding the trend of researches carried out on the subject of rooftop afforestation. The issue of rooftop afforestation is receiving attention as one of the plans to secure green zones in urban area. While the actual execution of rooftop afforestation in Korea in only in the initial state, thus in not activated, studies on this subject have been actively carried out particularly in terms of the methods of rooftop afforestation. Recently, studies are being actively performed on the creation and effect of rooftop afforestation. However, these studies tend to focus on specific areas. This leads to the necessity to approach the issue of rooftop afforestation with a wider perspective. Therefore, in the study, the previous studies on rooftop afforestation carried out both in and outside the country are categorized as the study on the methods, effect and activation plans of rooftop afforestation, thus are examined to understand the recent trend in the study of rooftop afforestation. The results indicate that domestic studies. which was centered on the methods to promote rooftop afforestation. have been expanding into the study on the methods to establish eco-habit at on rooftop as well as on the environmental and economic effect rooftop afforestation.

      • 7β-(5-Phenyl-2H-Tetrazolyl-2-Acetamido) Cephalosporanic Acid의 合成 및 抗菌作用에 관한 硏究

        7β-(5-Phenyl-2H-tetrazolyl-2-acetamido) cephalosporanic acid was synthesized by condensation of 7-aminocephalosporanic acid(7-ACA) with(5-phenyl-2H-tetrazol-2-yl) acetyl chloride. This compound was tested for antimicrobial activity in vitro against Bacillus licheniformis ATCC 14580, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Candida albicans ATCC 10231, Escherichia coli ESS, Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341, Pseudomonas aeruginosa IFO 13130, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923, Staphylococcus aureuss FDA-209p and Salmonella typhimurium SL 1102. This compound revealed excellent antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Staphlococcus aureus FDA 209p. This compound have no antimicrobial activity against Candida albicans ATCC 10231, Pseudomonas aeruginosa IFO 13130 and Salmonella typhimurium SL 1102.

      • PC 기반의 역감제시 시스템 개발

        This paper describes the development of a PC-based force display system (haptic interface system). The system allows a human to explore and interact with a virtual environment using sense of touch. Specially, the system interfaces the position and force information bidirectionally between the human and virtual environment. The haptic interface system is composed of a haptic device, a model of virtual environment generated by computer graphics, and haptic rendering algorithm displaying the desired force. The haptic device is a ground-based 3DOF manipulator of parallel link mechanism offering sense of touch to the user when the device contacts virtual environment. The ground-based interfaces have much higher resolution and bandwidth of force display than haptic devices of body-based type. The virtual environment model is designed by Open GL graphic library. It is composed of some primitives such as wall, balls, etc. The haptic rendering algorithm is implemented by God-object algorithm. The proposed haptic system is capable of modeling and touching environments with some richness, complexity, and interactivity that can be found in existing graphic systems. It is so efficient that the algorithm can be implemented in a 1-PC-based system with 1〔㎑〕 interrupt cycle.

      • 원자력 발전소 핵연료 재장전을 위한 정지시 방사선준위 저감방법에 관한 연구

        During the shutdown of a pressurized water reactor, significant amounts of activated corrosion products were released. The recent recommendations by the Electric Power Research Institute for shutdown procedures aims to remove as much radioactivity as possible from the primary system. The Young-Gwang Nuclear Plant unit 4 performed a study to establish which conditions are reasonable to reduce the level of radioactivity in the primary system. The measurements include analysis of the reactor coolant, radioactivity in addition to boron concentration, pH, dissolved hydrogen and lithium concentration during shutdown. From these data estimates of the relation between Co-58 activity and other chemistry parameters (such as boron concentration, pH, dissolved hydrogen, lihthium concentration) have been made. The early removal of dissoled hydorgen and elevated boron concentration at acid reducing condition could affect the Co-58 dissociation rate. At acid oxidizing condition hydrogen peroxide could affect the dissolution of Co-58 which removed from the primary system. By using the purification ion exchanger remaining Co-58 could be removed to the level which primary manways of steam generator's can be open. The activity levels of each steam generator were lowered by 35% compared with that of last year. It indicates that low pH of the system chemistry through early removal of dissolved hydrogen and elevated boron concentration at high temperature accelerated the dissolution of Co-58.
