        물리․화학적 처리에 의한 요구르트 오염균의 생육 억제효과

        물리?화학적 처리에 의한 요구르트 오염균의 생육억제 효과를 알아보기 위해, 요구르트의 주요 오염균을 분리?동정하고, 열, pH, 전해수, 오존가스, microwave 처리 및 감마선을 조사하여 오염균주에 대한 사멸효과를 알아보았다. 오염된 요구르트로부터 분리한 효모의 지방산 조성 분석과 API(Analytic Profile Index) kit 분석을 실시한 결과, Hanseniaspora uvarum으로 동정되었으며 잠정적으로 Hanseniaspora uvarum Y1으로 명명하였다. H. uvarum Y1의 열 및 pH 처리에 의한 생육억제 효과를 측정한 결과, 70℃ 및 80℃에서 15분 가열처리로 균이 사멸되었으며, pH 처리 시 pH 2, 3 및 9에서 생육이 다소 억제되었으며, pH 1 및 10에서 완전히 억제되었다. 전해수 처리의 경우, clear zone이 5 mm 이상으로 H. uvarum Y1이 전해수에 높은 감수성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 오존가스 처리에 의한 H. uvarum Y1의 사멸효과를 측정한 결과, 102 CFU의 균은 10분, 103 CFU의 균은 20분 처리 시 모두 사멸한 것으로 나타났으며, microwave 처리의 경우, 106 CFU 가량의 균이 1분 처리 시 모두 사멸되었다. 방사선 조사의 경우, 균수를 90% 이상 감소시키는데 필요한 조사선량이 20 kGy 이상으로 H. uvarum Y1은 감마선에 저항성이 있는 균임을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때 열, pH, 전해수, 오존가스, microwave 처리를 통해 요구르트 오염균주인 H. uvarum Y1의 생육을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. This study was conducted to investigate the cause of microbiological contamination in yogurt and evaluate the effect of physicochemical treatment on the growth inhibition of Hanseniaspora uvarum isolated from yogurt. The yeast strain Hanseniaspora uvarum Y1 was subjected to heat and pH treatments. H. uvarum Y1 was killed at 70oC and 80oC after 15 min and survived in a wide pH range from pH 2 to 9. However, it did not survive under pH 1 and over pH 10. In a disk diffusion susceptibility test on H. uvarum Y1, a clear zone (5 mm) of growth inhibition was observed upon treatment with electrolyzed water. The effect of ozone gas on the growth of H. uvarum Y1 was evaluated by viable cell count. Initial cell numbers of 102 and 103 CFU/mL of H. uvarum Y1 were completely killed by treatment for 10 and 30 min, respectively. H. uvarum Y1 was also sterilized by microwave treatment for 1 min. When treated with gamma-irradiation, the rate of killing of H. uvarum Y1 was proportional to the irradiation dose. and complete killing occurred at a dose of 50 kGy.

        In this paper, we propose a method that determines the medical section by selecting the conditions of illness from a dialog-box using a fuzzy logic as a guidance system of the Cyber Hospital. It is to offer the most appropriate section for medical treatments using the Algebraic product fuzzy inference and Max inference after matching the membership degree table of symptoms of receive input from patient and their information. It will present patients with the direction for selecting a medical section.

      • 마우스에 있어서 INAH의 면역독성에 미치는 Pyridoxine의 영향

        The immunopotenciating effect of pyridoxine on the immunotoxicity of INAH was investigated in ICR mice. ICR male mice were divided 4 groups(10mice/group) and pyridoxine and INAH were administered per oral for 28 days. ICR male were evaluated for changes in immune status as measured by antibody titer, Arthus reaction. delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH), rosette forming cell(RFC). and plaque forming cell(PFC) to sheep red blood cells(S-RBC). To investigate the change of the non-specific immune response, spleen cells of ICR male mice were assayed for natural killer(NK) cell activity against YAC-I lymphoma. Number of leukocytes in peripheral blood and phagocyte activity were measured also. The results were summarized as follows. 1. INAH decreased both humoral and cell-mediated immune responses. the weight ratios of spleen and thymus to body weight, NK cell activity, phagocyt activity, and number of leukocytes. 2. Generally, pyridoxine reduced or removed the decline of both humoral and cell- mediated of immune responses, NK cell activity, phagocyte activity, and number of leukocytes by immunotoxicity of INAH. The above results suggest that pyridoxine enhance both humoral and cell-mediated immune responses to in ICR mice, indicating that pyridoxine may block a immunoglobulin synthesis inhibition of INAH and pyridoxine deficiency.

        독도 암석의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구

        독도는 약 300~220만 년 전에 형성된 해양섬 기원의 화산체로서 동도와 서도로 구성되어 있다. 비록 규모는 작지만 동해의 형성 및 진화와 연관된 지질과학적 중요성 외에 자원적, 생태적, 영토적, 가치 그리고 일본과의 독도 영유권 문제와 관련한 국민적 관심 등 경제ㆍ사회ㆍ과학ㆍ기술적 측면에서 무한한 잠재적 가치와 의미를 갖고 있는 지역이다. 최근 동도 육상부에서 급속하게 진행되고 있는 풍화 및 침식작용으로 인한 각종 균열로 인하여 독도 지반의 안정성 평가의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 논문은 독도의 지반안정성 분석을 위한 사전조사단계로서 독도의 지질과 층서, 지반불안정을 발생시키는 요인에 대하여 알아보고, 육안관찰에 의해 위험요소로 판단된 지역에서 수행되었던 독도 암석의 역학적 특성을 분석하였다. 독도의 암석은 주로 응회암, 조면암,조면안산암으로 구성되어 있으며, 전체적으로 풍화와 침식에 의해 국내 암석의 역학적 물성수치에 비해 상대적으로 낮았다. Dokdo is a volcano edifice originating from an oceanic island that was formed around 3 million to 2.2 million years ago, and it consists of Dongdo(eastern island) and Seodo(western island). Even though Dokdo is a small volcanic island, Dokdo has infinite potential value and significant economic, social, scientific, and technical aspects due to its resources, ecological and territorial value. In addition, it is of national interest with regards to the dispute with Japan over the dominium of Dokdo. A need to evaluate the ground stability of Dokdo, especially in Dongdo, has been seriously raised recently due to the various cracks caused by the progressive weathering and corrosion. This study dealt with the geology and geological layers of Dokdo and identified the status of ground cracks as the previous research to evaluate the ground stability of zones of concern in Dongdo. Also, this study analyzed the relationships between physical and mechanical properties with rock types. The results showed that the values of rock properties in Dokdo are lower contrary to the general rocks in Korea, and tuff was especially affected by the weathering and corrosion.

        자궁내막암과 동반된 osseous metaplasia 1 례

        Endometrial osseous metaplasia is a rare condition. The etiology and pathogenesis remain controversial. In most cases, the development of this condition is observed to be related to the history of abortion, either spontaneous or therapeutic and also, frequently associated with menstrual irregularity and endometritis. Patients usually present with secondary amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, pain, and dysmenorrhea. The authors recently experienced a case of endometrial osseous metaplasia of a referred endometrial cancer patient who had no history of abortion at all. We report this case with a brief review of the literature.

      • DoA Estimation of Line of Sight Signal in Multipath Channel for GNSS Receiver

        <P>The GNSS receivers suffer from the multipath interference which is highly correlated with the line of sight (LoS) signal. Such interference results in tracking and ranging errors. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm that can estimate the direction of arrival (DoA) of the LoS signal in the presence of highly correlated multipath interference. The proposed algorithm combines the matching pursuits algorithm for multipath estimation and the minimum norm algorithm for DoA estimation. An efficient combination of two algorithms yields reliable estimates of the DoA of LoS signal as demonstrated by computer simulations.</P>

        극 부호의 임계 집합 기반 비균일 분할 SC-Flip 복호 기법

        극 부호는 Arıkan이 제안한 이산 비기억 채널에서 채널 용량을 달성할 수 있는 최초의 오류정정부호이며, 5G 표준의 제어채널 코딩 방식으로 채택되는 등 활발히 연구되고 있다. 그 중, 극 부호 복호기의 성능 향상을 위한 방법으로 SCF 알고리즘이 제안되었으며 우수한 오류정정 성능을 보여주지만, 신뢰도가 낮은 채널 환경에서 평균 복호 사이클이 크게 증가하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 SCF 복호기의 지연시간 감소를 위해 임계 집합 분포를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 전체 부호어의 비균일 분할을 적용한 임계 집합 기반 비균일 분할 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 제안된 기법을 적용할 경우 SCL L=2와 유사한 FER 성능을 보이며, 지연시간 측면에서 기존의 SCF 및 분할된 SCF 복호기에 비해 T=16, SNR 1.0dB의 조건에서 각각 66.79% 및 10.77% 복호 클럭 사이클이 감소함을 확인하였다. Polar code proposed by Arıkan achieves channel capacity on a discrete memoryless channel and has been actively studied. In addition, it has been adopted as a channel coding scheme in the 5G standard. There are various studies to improve the performance and reduce the complexity of the decoder, and SCF algorithm shows the improvement of the error correction performance compared to SC algorithm. However, the SCF algorithm significantly increase the average clock cycle in low SNR channel environments. This paper proposes a critical set-based non-uniform segmentation SCF decoding algorithm by analyzing the distribution of critical sets and applying non-uniform segmentation of the entire codeword. The proposed algorithm shows a comparable FER performance with SCL(L=2). Compared to the conventional SCF and segmented SCF decoders, it reduces 66.79% and 10.77% decoding clock cycles at T=16 and SNR 1.0dB respectively.

        Primary serous papillary peritoneal carcinoma 1예

        Primary papillary serous carcinomas (PPC) of the peritoneum are very rare and classically present with widespread intraperitoneal dissemination, superficial invasion, and minimal ovarian stromal involvement. Because of clinically and histologically similar to advanced stage epithelial ovarian carcinoma the treatment has been a similar fashion-cytoreductive surgery followed by systemic chemotherapy. Histologic differentiation between papillary mesotheliomas, primary ovarian tumors, borderline tumors of the ovary with peritoneal deposits and primary peritoneal carcinoma may be difficult. The prognosis is very poor and the median lifespan 4 months. We experienced a case of primary peritoneal carcinoma and reported with the brief review of the literature.

        난소에 발생한 원발성 이행 상피암 2 예

        Primary transitional cell carcinoma of ovary has been recently recognized as a separate subtype of epithelial cancer. It is unusual tumor and in which definite urothelial features are present, but no benign Brenner component is identified. These tumor are more aggressive and tend to present at a higher stage than malignant Brenner tumors, but they appear to respond better to chemotherapy than other type of ovarian epithelial cancer. We have experienced two cases of primary transitional cell carcinoma of ovary. So we report these cases with a brief review of literature.

        한국 청소년기 여성의 성경험 실태에 관한 연구

        N/A Objective: The objective of this survey is to introduce the recent adolescent sexuality, such as the level of sexual knowledge of adolescent, their actual state for the attitudes and behaviors toward sex, and in Korea in comparison with the past and to seek the answers to the improvement of the teproductive health statos of the adolescents. Method: The total number of 11,433 girls was drawn fiom middle and high schools girls in Seoul, Pusan, Incheon, Kwangju, Taegu, Taejeon and Ansan. Among them, the number of 82 girls was drawn fiom factory workers in Ansan. For the data collection, the survey was conducted during the period fiom Feb 15, 1994 to May 23, 1995 by using prepared questionaire. Result: Of those who respond to this study, 37.6% had sexual problems, which was that of acquaintance of the opposite sex(44.7%), menstruation(33.1%), and sexual maturity(13.1%). Among them, only 5.5% had a feeling of satisfaction about sex education. In regard to the attitude toward the friendly relationsbip with the oppasite sex, the approval rate respondents was 80.4%. Many respondents felt chastity and a virtue, but only 60.1% answered that pemarital chastity should be kept. For the each age group, age at sexual intercourse is revealed that among the respondents about 31.5% are experienced sexual intercourse for under 14 yearss old group, 25.3% for 15 years old, 26.3% for 16 years old, 12.6% for 17 years old, 3.3% for 18 years old, 1.0% for 19 years old. The major information source of knowledge source was school(38.4%), mass-media such as TV/radio(22.6%), book and magazine(19.9%), friends(16.2%), and parents (1.5%). Conclusion: In order to cope with the problems of adolescent sexuality, a drastic and strong policy measures should be taken by the government. At the same time, the public should be aware of the urgency of adolescent sexual problems. The most effective countermeasures appear to be education. Sexual education is necessary for the youth that they should bave an adequate sexual knowledge, attitudes and behaviors in their adolescent period.
