상악동에 발생한 거대한 Cholesterol 육아종 1례
김승찬,박형욱,김용기,나한조,도남용 朝鮮大學校 附設 醫學硏究所 1991 The Medical Journal of Chosun University Vol.16 No.1
The cholesterol granuloma is not a specific clinical or pathologic entity but merely a term used to describe a tissue response to cholesterol crystal. The cholesterol granuloma in paranasal sinuses is rare disease. Recently the authors had experienced a case of huge cholesterol granuloma, which involved the right maxillary sinus. The cholesterol granuloma was removed successfully by mean of enucleation through the Caldwell-Luc approach. So, we report a case with brief review of the literature.

This paper presents the development of smart counting system that is proper for grains with uneven unit weight or shape. This device can detect the small differences of a light beam and count the pulse from wave shape control, when the grain is going on the light screen, which is made by the light beam screen sensor. It can, different from the former conventional device, distinct the uneven grains for counting detect, by using the dedicated hardware and the software algorithm of the light sensor.

This research suggested a development of a Data Acquisition System for strain gauge sensor which enables the usage of portable device in the various engineering field that includes, a strain indicator which is frequently used in civil and mechanical engineering, and a GUI function of data acquisition device. The developed system can record 16 channels of strain gauges at a time and its resolution is over 16 bits which can be used effectively in the actual field.

In this paper, the light screen sensing system is introduced and testified to detect small grains such as seeds or electronic chips of uneven sized. Two modules composed of transmitter-receiver sensor array and microprocessor-based sensor signal processing system are developed to realize the proposed system. Experimental results showed that the sensing signal was relatively clear and its counting performance was very stable.

In this paper, hardware improvement and software of tile light screen sensing system is introduced and tested to detect small grains such as seeds or electronic chips of uneven sired. Two modules composed of a transmitter-receiver sensor array and a microprocessor-based sensor signal processing system are developed to realize the proposed system. As a result, the sensing signal waveform was relatively improved than the previous machine's and its counting error was within the range of 0.01% in case of normal seeds counting.

This paper presents the development of LED street light lamp which is controled by central command system. This system includes a lamp unit controller, data repeater and command repeater as well as the LED lamps. These devices enable the individual power control and partial on/off control of the LED lamps by the control repeater through full duplex communication line. Also, they have the ability to control the brightness and period of on/off timing by detecting the car's existence. As a result of this development, it is founded that the performances of the system have been satisfied to apply for the actual road test.

The Ca^(2+)-binding protein calmodulin mediates cellular Ca^(2+) signals in response to a wide array of stimuli in higher eukaryotes. Plants express numerous CaM isoforms. Transcription of one soybean (Glycine max) CaM isoform, SCaM-4, is dramatically induced within 30 min of pathogen or NaCl stresses. To characterize the cis-acting element(s) of this gene, we isolated an approximately 2-kb promoter sequence of the gene. Deletion analysis of the promoter revealed that a 130-bp region located between nucleotide positions -858 and -728 is required for the stressors to induce expression of SCaM-4. A hexameric DNA sequence within this region, GAAAAA (GT-1 cis-element), was identified as a core cis-acting element for the induction of the SCaM-4 gene. The GT-1 cis-element interacts with an Arabidopsis GT-1-like transcription factor, AtGT-3b, in vitro and in a yeast selection system. Transcription of AtGT-3b is also rapidly induced within 30 min after pathogen and NaCl treatment. These results suggest that an interaction between? GT-1 cis-element and a GT-1-like transcription factor plays a role in pathogen- and salt-induced SCaM-4 gene expression in both soybean and Arabidopsis.
Modeling of Electrolyte Thermal Noise in Electrolyte-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors
Park, Chan Hyeong,Chung, In-Young The Institute of Electronics and Information Engin 2016 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.16 No.1
Thermal noise generated in the electrolyte is modeled for the electrolyte-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors. Two noise sources contribute to output noise currents. One is the thermal noise generated in the bulk electrolyte region, and the other is the thermal noise from the double-layer region at the electrolyte-oxide interface. By employing two slightly-different equivalent circuits for two noise current sources, the power spectral density of output noise current is calculated. From the modeling and simulated results, the bulk electrolyte thermal noise dominates the double-layer thermal noise. Electrolyte thermal noise are computed for three different concentrations of NaCl electrolyte. The derived formulas give a good agreement with the published experimental data.
Development of a minipig physical phantom from CT data
Park, Sooyeun,Lee, Pilsoo,Ha, Wi-Ho,Kim, Han Sung,Park, Byeong Ryong,Kim, Jae ,Seok,Shim, Sehwan,Park, Sunhoo,Kim, Young-su,Kim, Chan Hyeong,Jin, Young-Woo JAPAN RADIATION RESEACH SOCIETY 2017 JOURNAL OF RADIATION RESEARCH Vol.58 No.5
<P><B>ABSTRACT</B></P><P>Quantification of pathological progression of radiation-induced injury is essential in development of treatment methods, and a proper animal model is necessary for relevant radiological and medical studies. A minipig is a current animal model selected because of its similarities to humans in anatomy and pathology. In the present study, a minipig physical phantom was developed using computed tomography (CT) data. For dosimetry purposes, the minipig physical phantom was constructed on a slice-by-slice basis, with an array of holes to accommodate dosimeters. The phantom is constituted of three major organs, i.e. bone, lung, and remaining soft tissue, and the organs are clearly distinguishable on each 20-mm-thick axial slice. The quality of the tissue-equivalent (TE) substitutes was analyzed in terms of the atomic compositions and Hounsfield units (HUs). The density (in g/cm3) and effective atomic number of TE substitutes for the bone, lung, and soft tissue are 1.4 and 7.9, 0.5 and 10.0, and 1.0 and 5.9, respectively. Although the TE substitutes have slightly different physical properties, we think the phantom is acceptable because the HU values of the TE substitutes lie in the HU range of real tissues.</P>
