        The accurate measurement of soil resistivity and grounding system resistance is fundamental to electrical safety. However, geological and meterological factors can have a considerable effect on the accuracy of conventional measurements and the validity of the measurement methods. This paper presents optimization method of dc resistivity data acquisition system using Wenner and Schlumbeger method.

        Electrical resistance tomograpy(ERT) maps resistivity values of the soil subspace and characterizes buried objects. The characterization includes location, size, and resistivity of buried objects. In this paper, we have made numerical experiments to compare the performance of the Wenner, Schlumberger, pole-pole, and dipole-dipole electrode arrays for two-dimensional resistivity measurement in ERT. In general, the SNR(signal to noise ratio) of resistivity measurement is directly to the measurement voltage level. The pole-pole and Wenner arrays can give the highest signal level. Results of numerical experiments in ERT solved by four electrode array types are presented and compared using Gauss-Newton inversion algorithm.

        The grounding system of the subsurface should ensure the safe and reliable operation of power systems, and guarantee a human being's safety in the situation of grounding fault in the power system. The optimal design of grounding systems for subsurface can ensure the equalization of the potential distribution of the ground surface above the grounding system, and can obviously improve the safety of the grounding system. This paper deals with the 2-dimensional reconstruction of the earth's resistivity distribution based on DC resistivity data. This task represents a nonlinear and ill-posed minimization problem with many degrees of freedom. In this work, techniques for regularization and controlling of this problem are depicted and classified. The system of equations as resulting from the application of the Gauss -Newton minimization can be solved efficiently.

In this paper, simultaneous iterative reconstruction technieque (SIRT) and truncated least squares (TLS) approach are presented for the solution of the ERT image reconstruction. Results of numerical experiments in ERT solved by the SIRT and TLS approach are presented and compared to that obtained by the Gauss-Newton method.

      • 생분해성 플라스틱이 포함된 유기성 생활 쓰레기의 퇴비화

        준 생산용 퇴비화 장치를 이용하여 생분해성 플라스틱을 포함하는 유기성 도시생활쓰레기기의 퇴비화를 연구하였다. 유기성 도시생활쓰레기는 실제 도시생활쓰레기 구성비에서 무기물을 제외한 유기성 물질만의 비로 만들어 사용하였다. 유기성 도시생활쓰레기를 구성하는 각각의 물질에 대한 생분해도를 ISO법으로 측정하였고, 퇴비의 화학적 물리적 특성도 조사하였다. 구성 물질에 대한 생분해도 결과에서, 생분해성 고분자를 포함한 각 물질들은 퇴비화에 충분한 생분해도를 나타내는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 유기성 도시 생활쓰레기로부터 비독성의 퇴비를 얻을 수 있음을 알았다. The composting study of organic municipal solid waste containing biodegradable plastic was performed by using pilot scale composting apparatus. The organic municipal solid waste(OMSW) was artificially prepared for composting. The composition of artificial OMSW was the same as that of real municipal solid waste excluding inorganic waste. The biodegradability of individual component of OMSW was studied according to the ISO method. The chemical and physical characteristics were also observed. Biodegradability study revealed that every component of OMSW including biodegradable plastic had sufficient degradability for real composting. And it was found that non-toxic compost could be produced from OMSW containing biodegradable plastic.

      • Polycaprolactone(PCL)/탄산칼슘 복합체의 물성 및 내후성 연구

        Polycaprolactone(PCL)/Master Batch(MB) composite was made by blending PCL and MB. The major component of MB is calcium carbonate(CaCO3). Wheatherability, thermal properties, mechanical properties and water absorption were investigated in PCL/MB composite. Stress and strain at break were decreased but Young's modulus was comparatively maintained as the time of outdoor exposure was increased. The mechanical properties of PCL/MB composite were decreased as the content of MB was increased and the parallel samples were better than transverse samples in stress at break, strain at break and Young's modulus. The melting temperature of PCL/MB composite was about 57℃. The water absorption of PCL/MB was higher than PCL. but the change of water absorption by the content of MB could be ignored because the total water absorption of PCL/MB composite was not reached at 1%.

      • 부산광역시 일부하천의 계절적·년도별 수질특성 비교분석

        This study is carried out to investigate the water quality change trends in Pusan Metropolitan streams. The temperature of the streams are moderate except in winter period and this can be explained by the Korean meterological characteristics. The pH does not vary by the time but some points are a little low. BOD_(5) and COD_(Mn), the index of water contaminants, be shown as characteristic domestic waste water patterns. The nutrient matters, such as total nitrogen and total phosphate, are appeared to be low. The chronic water quality, as BOD_(5) and COD_(Mn), shows that the loading rates in 1998 are smaller than the past(1983, 1992). Some points show a little high loading in autumn, but this needs more investigation to make clear the cause(s).

      • 경유양동상미로접근법에 의한 안면신경감압술 16례

        With increase of traffic accidents, the otologic problems including facial palsy with skull fracture are more concerned. This paper is report our experiences with 16 cases of traumatic facial nerve palsy which have been employed transmastoid supralabyrinthine facial nerve decompression during last four years. The results are as follows: 1. Of the 16 patients, 13 patients(81.3%) were men and 3 patients (18.8%) were women. And sex ratio was 1.4:1 (male predominent). 2. In fracture type, longitudinal fracture was 10 cases (62.5%), transverse fracture was 1 case(6.3%) and mixed fracture was 2 cases(12.5%). 3. Cerebral contusion was combined in 8 cases(50%) and facial bone fracture was combined in 6 cases(37.55). Because of these combined lesions, otologic diagnoses and treatment was delayed. 4. The most common physical finding on clinical examination were a bloody otorrhea(75%) and hearing impairment(75%). 5. In frequency of lesion in facial nerve, tympanic segment(35.7%) was the most common site, followed by geniculate ganglion(14.3%). Suggested mechanisms in facial palsy were nerve compression(57.1%), granulation tissue and congestion. 6. There were improvment of House-Brackmann grades in 13 cases after decompression. 7. Incudostapedial separation was found in 4 cases and incus fracture was found in 2 cases. Hearing improvement was found in 3 cases being ossiculoplasty.

        알콜精神病患者에 對한 臨床的 硏究 : 幻覺內容을 中心으로

        The author studied mainly the hallucinated phenomena of the 15 alcoholic psychotics who were hospitalized in Dept. of Neuro-Psychiatry, of Medical college, Chosun University, from October of 1972 to October of 1975. The following conclusions were obtained from the studies. 1) In general distribution of age, the average of the alcoholic psychotics was 40.5 years, with a range from 35 to 43 years. The range of age is significant, the alcoholic psychotics being a much more homogenous group. The rate of males to females among the alcoholic psychotics was 15 to 0. 2) This report will concern data from a group of 9 patients (60%) who were diagnosed as Delirium tremens and from 4 patients who were diagnosed as having Alcoholic Hallucinosis (25%) without schizophrenia and from 2 Patients (13%) of Korsakoff's psychosis who is less than others. 3) Alcoholic psychosis is the special disease of men in Korean society but not less and it is the most part in the lower class of the educational, socio-cultural level and the lower income class. 4) Their average of drinking capacity of a day is the 2 bottles (which is filled with 2 HOB) of SOJU (spirits) and 2-3 DOI of MAKOULLI, howerever they used not to get some eatables. 5) I found the light tremulousness (80%), insomnia (93%), night-mare or vivid dreams (53%), itching (47%), retching (33%), sweating (13%), seizure (27%) and blurred vision (20%) to be part of the alcoholic withdrawal syndrome. 6) The most frequent incidence was in the formed visual hallucinations (80%), followed by the formed auditory hallucinations (60%) and haptic hallucinations (58%). 7) In the contents of visual hallucinations, the bug, flea and snake are the most part but few seen the case of a rat. The contents of visual hallucinations in western people is the snake and rat which is the most part, such a difference between western and oriental people should be taken into account of the comparative cultural aspects. 8) Alcholic psychotics gave more responses regards as persecutory and every day affairs. 9) Alcoholic psychotics perceived the phenomena externally to any extent. 10) Alcoholic psychotics frequently thought that the hallucination was real at the time of it's appearance but later in the recovery period expressed recgnition of it's unreality and alcoholic psychotics behaved negatively or ambivalently in majority of cases.

      • 유전알고리즘을 사용한 대지의 다층구조 분석

        In this paper, a methodology has been proposed according to which, after carrying out a set of soil's resistivity measurements, one can compute the parameters of the multilayer earth structure using a genetic algorithm(GA). The results provided by the GA constitute the indispensable data that can be used in circuital or field simulations of grounding systems. The methodology allows to proceed toward a very efficient simulation of the grounding system and an accurate calculation of potential on the ground's surface.
