      • RT-LAMP를 이용한 콩황화일반모자이크바이러스의 진단

        Soybean yellow common mosaic virus (SYCMV) has been recently reported, it has been occurred a lot with Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) and Soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus (SYMMV) in soybean field. SYCMV belongs to genus of Sobemovirus and induced viral symptoms with yellowing, mottle and mosaic. A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) method allowed one-step detection of gene amplification by simple procedure and needed only a simple incubator for isothermal template. This RT-LAMP method allowed direct detection of RNA from virus-infected plants without thermal cycling and gel electrophoresis. In this study, we designed RT-LAMP primers named SYCML-F3/B3/FIP/BIP from coat protein gene sequence of SYCMV. After the reaction of RTLAMP, products were identified by electrophoresis and with the detective fluorescent dye, SYBR Green I. under daylight and UV light. Optimal reaction condition was at 63 for 60min and the primers of RTLAMP showed the specificity for only SYCMV tested in this study.

      • 진행성 폐 종양 환자에서 종양 내 OK-432 주입술의 효과

        Background: Intratumoral injection of OK-432 produced significant antitumor effects. There are reports that OK-432 was injected directly into tumor tissue on gastrointestinal tracts and HCC tissue, producing decrease in serum alpha-fetoprotein level. We adopted this technique for treating locally advanced lung cancer. The object of this study is to evaluate the local therapeutic efficacy, side effects of injection for treating symptomatic mass. Methods: Twenty lung cancer patients (13 males and 7 females) underwent sonography guided OK-432 injection. We analyzed relationships between response of OK-432 and response of skin test, histology and age. Pain that patients feel was evaluated by VAS (Visual Analog scale). Results: A significant decrease of tumor size was observed. The mean pre-injection diameter of the lesions was 54.7±11.3mm, PR rate were 15.0% (3/20) and minimal change (50%<tumor size decreased.) patients were 35.0% (7/20). The VAS score before injecting OK-432 into the lesion was 5±3, this was decreased to 2.5±1.5 (p=0.04). Object response was significantly correlated with skin response, adenocarcinoma, and age. Conclusion: A significant decrease of tumor size and pain was observed. So OK-432 is a valuable treatment option for patients with symptomatic lesion from advanced lung cancer who are not amenable to further therapy.

        Rheumatoid arthritis frequently involves the cervical spine and may lead to neurologic impairement. However, direct involvement of CNS structures by inflammatory cells has been reported infrequently. The prevalence of this complication of rheumatoid arthritis is unknown. Inflammatory CNS involvement in rheumatoid arthritis reportedly occurs in the setting of longstanding, active, erosive articular disease and is accompanied by extracranial and extraspinal nodules and vasculitis. This is diagnosed by radiologic finding of CNS nodules or meningeal thickening and by biopsy or autopsy. Treatment with corticosteroid, cytotoxic agent or surgical decompression is helpful. But the majority of patients die within several months of onset of neurologic symptom. Recently, we experienced a case of pachymeningitis caused by rheumatoid arthritis, which resolved repeatedly with azathioprine treatment.

        고랭지 성토지 감자-호맥 작부체계하의 토양개량이 감자 생육에 미치는 영향

        고랭지에서 척박한 모재토를 성토한 포장에서 감자를 재배한 후 후작으로 호밀을 재배하는 작부체계 하에서 대조구, 화학성개량구, 제오라이트구 등 3개 처리를 두고 감자 파종 전 성장하고 있는 호밀을 경운, 매몰하여 감자를 1999년부터 2년간 재배하면서 몇 가지 토양개량 처리한 것을 조사 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 성토재료용 모재토는 양질사토로서 유기물과 인산함량 등 이화학성이 매우 낮은 척박토이었다. 2. 감자의 지상부 생육은 대조구에 비하여 제오라이트구와 화학성개량구가 좋았으며 감자수량도 2.1~4.5% 증수되었다. 3. 감자 수확 후 토양이화학성은 시험 전에 비해 점차 증가하였으며 호맥재배로 토양 유기물과 인산함량 증가가 컸다. 4. 호맥은 감자 파종 1주일 전에 경운, 매몰하였으며 그 효과는 토양 중 유기물함량 0.5~3.5g/㎏정도 지력 증진효과가 있었다. This study was conducted to investigate the changes of crop growth and soil properties under potato-rye cropping system in highland mounding-soil. Experimental plots were designed with control, chemical improvement and zeolite+chemical improvement plot during 1999 to 2000year. Mounding-soil were low in the contents of soil chemical properties that organic matter contents etc., and that soil texture was loamy sand soil. The growth and yield of potato in the chemical improvement and zeolite plots were higher than that of control plot by 2.1~4.5%. After harvesting, the contents of soil chemical properties increased than those of experiment before. Increasing ratios of soil organic matter and phosphate contents were higher than other soil properties by rye cultivation. Rye residues were buried and tilled before potato planting at 1 week. Rye residues burying deep under the ground increased by 0.5~3.5g/㎏ to soil organic matter contents.

      • L.V. Beethoven의 Piano Sonata 形式構造에 관한 分析硏究

        Beethoven's early Piano sonatas were composed at his 30 years of age, and we can say that his traditional classic style was unavoidably influenced by Mozart and Haydn. But his characteristics are as follows: the attempt to change the sonata form form 3 movements to 4 movement; · the introduction of scherzo in place of minuet; · the strong expressions of fortes and pianos; · the variations of tonalty and new modulation; Thus Beethoven's characteristics and his unique style are found in the early part of his career, and so his early piano sonatas have acquired significant position. The works of his middle age are: piano sonata op. 27-2 (Moonlight) op. 53(Waldstein) op. 57(Appassionata) op. 81-a(Das Lebewohl) As shown in the symphonyNo. 3, his style, form and contents became more colorful and his particular emotional expressions expended to a great deal. Correspending to the agony of loss his hearing, his works reflected the strength of emotional expressions and philosophical ideas. The later part of his piano sonatas reflected sublimity, peace, and the artistic techniques of counter point, The progress of cadence ends in pianoforte, indicating the sign to hide its effects. His works demonstrate free expression void of restraint. and are filled with meditation, fantasy, leading the way to new romanticism. The structure of Beethoven' piano sonata form are more elaborate in their themes and transitions; and the parts of development and coda are dealt with relative importance and take well-balanced sonata forms. The coda takes characteristic large-scale forms ind icatingthe important first and second themes. Before Beethoven, the function of coda was a method of ending a movement with grace and pom pusness. And in movements also, his warks ranged from 2 movements to 7 ones; 9 symphonies are characteristic of having been composed of 4 movements. He preferred using scherzo to minuet from early stage to the last.

        The incidence of hematologic disorders in patients with Down's syndrome is significantly increased, about 14∼30 - fold higher than in general population and includes neonatal transient abnormal myelopoieis and acute leukemias. The age of onset of leukemia in Down's syndrome is peaking first in the newborn period and then under 4 years of age. Down's syndrome with acute leukemia above the age of 20 is very rare and it's treatment oucome is unclear. The treatment of Down's syndrome with leukemia has been controversial because of toxicity and associated congenital cardiac and other abnormalities. But if treated adequately, children with Down's syndrome show a favorable response to anti-leukemia therapy. A 24-year-old man with Down's syndrome was first seen for the evaluation of anemia and thrombocytopenia. The peripheral blood morphology and bone marrow study revealed acute myelogenous leukemia, cytogenetic study of bone marrow showed trisomy 21. Beacuse of his sicioeconomic condition and medical abnormalities including deafness, visual loss, he was treated with low dose subcutaneous cytosine arabinoside(Ara-C) for 11 days. Complete remission was obtained after 37 days. The complete remission lasted for 5 months. He subsequently relapsed, and died 6 months later.

      • S.D. Rats를 이용 1, 1-Dichloro-1-fluoroethane의 아민성 흡입독성 연구

        There were no specific effects for test materials on Sprague-Dawley (S.D.) rats in clinical symptoms, amounts of food intakes, weight changes, laboratory findings, and pathology after whole body l, l-Dichloro-1 -fluoroethane (used as coolant, metal cleaner and solvents) exposure(0, 1,500, 3,000, and 6,000 ppm) for 13 weeks (6 hour/day, 5 days/week). However, the loss of capillary vessels in eyeball (pupil) was observed in a female rat among 6,000 ppm group. Though there was a tendency for MCHC (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration) in rat to be decreased (p<0.05), it was not regarded as abnormal because the values were within normal limits. In asthma-stimulation related evaluations, there was also a tendency for inflammatory cell counts in bronchoalveolar lavages to be increased. But it had no statistical significance, and also no dependency on sex and the exposed concentration. Based on this result, the non observed effect level (NOEL) induced by 1, 1-Dichloro-l -fluoroethene inhalation was evaluated in groups with 3,000 ppm below (S .D. Rats, 13 weeks). Finally, it was concluded that the short term exposal of 1, 1-Dichloro-l-fluoroethane is not considered as a asthma stimulant by inhalation despite of some study limitations such as test animals use and short-term exposure .

      • 植物의 生長에 미치는 비쑥의 毒性作用

        To find out phytotoxic effects of naturally occurring substances emitted by Artemisia scoparia, aqueous extracts and volatile substances of A. scoparia were provided and used for tests such as seed germination and seedling growth. In general, the more was the concentration of the extracts and the amount of A. scoparia leaf, the worse was the above mentioned tests of selected species. Especially. relative germination ratio and relative radicle elongation ratio of Plantago asiatica and that of Achyranthes japonica were inversely proportional to the concentration of the extracts and the volatile substances of A. scoparia. But Altriplex gmelini, outside species which growing out of A. scoparia community, was not much influenced from the chemicals. It was, therefore, confirmed that the chemical substances of A. scoparia were clearly showed the phytotoxic activity. The gas chromatography was employed for analysis and identification of phytotoxic substances from A. scoparia. Seven chemical substances were identified from it and, among them, cinnamic acid would be assumed as a main substance in this study.

        고추 조숙터널 직파재배시 멀칭재료 선발

        고추를 조숙터널재배 작형에서 직파할 때 터널지면을 멀칭하는 적정한 재료를 선발하기 위하여 2000년부터 2년간 영양고추시험장 시험포장에서 기온, 지온 등을 측정하고 고추의 생육과 수량을 조사하였으며 고추성분함량을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 직파한 고추의 입모율은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구에서 94%로 가장 높았으며 지중 10㎝에서의 최고, 최저온도는 투명P.E. 멀칭구가 가장 높았다. 2. 고추 초기생육은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구가 가장 좋았으나 후기생육은 처리간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 3. 고추 수량은 흑색P.E. 멀칭구 〉투명P.E. 멀칭구 〉배색P.E. 멀칭구 순으로 높았으며 과실 특성은 비슷하였다. 4. 흑색P.E. 멀칭구의 ASTA값이 195.7로 가장 높았으며 당함량은 투명P.E. 멀칭구가 8.7%로 높았다. This experiment was conducted to select the mulching materials at the direct sowing of red pepper in the early maturing culture under row cover. 'Taeyang' cultivar was planted at the March 27 by driect sowing. Mulching material were black P.E., clear P.E. and arranged P.E., Soil temperature at 10㎝ depth measured by Watch Dog (Spectrum Technologies Inc.) during the cropping seasons. Planting density was 4,444 plants per 10a, double row design with 0.3m between plants within the row and 1.5m with. Fertilization application on the red pepper was standard fertilization which RDA recommended. Seedling stand ratios of red pepper in the black P.E. plot was higher by 94% than the others. Soil temperature at 10㎝ depth including maximum and minimum temperatures in the clear P.E. plot were higher than those of another plots. Red pepper growth in the early stage was better in the black P.E. plot than the other plots. In the late stages, the red pepper growth to black P.E. 〉clear P.E. 〉arranged P.E. plot, but fruit characteristics were similiar. ASTA value of black P.E. plot was higher by 195.7 than the other plots. Sugar content of clear P.E. plot was 8.7%.

        중국 고추산업의 현황과 대응

        고추의 주된 수출국인 중국의 고추 품종, 재배, 유통 등 고추산업의 현황을 조사하고 이에 대한 몇가지 대응방안을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1. 중국의 고추 총생산량은 전세계 생산량의 48%로서 최대 수출국은 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 한국 등지로 수출된다. 2. 중국 산동성의 고추 총생산량은 15만톤 정도이나 우리나라 고추와 비슷하고 색택이 좋은 건고추 益都椒가 숙주로 고춧가루 형태로 한국에 수출된다. 3. 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 직파재배나 일시수확형, 붉은 색깔이 많은 고추품종의 개발이나 생산비 절감을 위찬 재배법의 개발이 필요하다. 4. 고품질 고춧가루 생산을 위한 가공기술의 개발과 고추가공 수출품의 규격화로 세계시장을 확대해야 할 것이다. Export of red pepper in China vs South Korea increased every year. Red pepper industry that is cultivars, cultivation method and distribution etc. were investigated and confrontation on the red pepper industry in South Korea were suggested as follows; The amount of red pepper production in China was possessed by 48% world production of red pepper. Presently red pepper exported to Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea. The amount of red pepper production in Shandong district in China was 1.5 hundred thousand ton. Yi du jiao that is similiar to Korean red pepper is high ASTA value and export to South Korea. For the strengthen, cultivars for direct sowing, once of harvesting and high ASTA and also cultivation method for production cost saving will be developed. Manufactering techniques for production of red pepper powder in high quality will be develope. Standard on export products of red pepper will process and expand world market.
