The Evaluation of Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement Therapy for Chronic Pancreatitis Patients
( Bayarmaa Nyamaa ),( Adiya Bayarmaa ) 대한간학회 2020 춘·추계 학술대회 (KASL) Vol.2020 No.1
Aims: Non-invasive tests are not widely used in clinical practice for a reliable determination of the pancreas exocrine function. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) on the pancreas exocrine function of patients with chronic pancreatitis with the help of a fecal elastase 1 test. Methods: Observational cross-sectional study. 109 patients with chronic pancreatitis were treated using enzyme replacement therapy. Before and after the treatment all patients had gone through laboratory tests and imaging diagnosis. Results: There were 62 men and 47 women in our sample. The mean age was 49.76 ± 1.21 years (22 to 81). We determined the fecal elastase (200 mcg/g) for 70 patients (mean 151,33 ± 14.24 mcg/g). Among 39 patients, an exocrine pancreatic insufficiency was found severe (n = 24), and moderate (n = 15). After the PERT we observed a decrease in abdominal pain among the patients (P =0.0063) and decrease in urine amylase levels: 274.29 ± 46.72 ME/l and 167.25 ± 14.09 ME/ l; P =0.0128 and blood amylase levels: 74.38 ± 9.66 ME/l and 64.12 ±7.87 ME/l (n=89, P =0.043). Average fecal elastase levels in case of consuming capsules was reliably less compared to the initial levels: 279.46 ± 27.41 mcg/g and 254.87 ± 26.74 mcg/g (n=52, P =0.0152); and reliably less than elastase levels during the intake of pancreatin tablets: 289.38 ± 38.44 and 303.75 ± 36.88 mcg/g (n=24, P =0.0127). Fecal elastase activity during tablet pancreatin didn’t differ much from the initial levels: 276.14 ± 29.41 and 266.29 ± 29.74 mcg/g (n=35, P =0.4190). Conclusions: Determination of fecal elastase-1 is highly sensitive to the diagnosis of severe and moderate exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and the results of this test are not affected by ongoing PERT.
State-of-the-art IVEF Service based e-Navigation System
Bayarmaa Oyunchimeg,Jung Sik Jeong,Gyei-Kark Park 한국지능시스템학회 2013 한국지능시스템학회 학술발표 논문집 Vol.23 No.2
In this paper, we researched State-of-the-art IVEF Service based e-Navigation System. The unification of the data exchange format among maritime-related systems is one of vital user-needs of e-Navigation, advantageous in bringing maritime safety and security. This paper aims to introduce the design of Inter-VTS Exchange Format (IVEF), as recommended by the International Association of Aids-to-Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), to enhance the information transmitted from Vessel Tracking Service (VTS) centers to Korea’s General Information Center on Maritime Safety and Security (GICOMS) as well as to the government-related agencies or vice-versa. To achieve this, a system dataflow was designed which it acts as client and server. It enables the sending and receiving of Radar and CCTV images in accordance with the IVEF recommendation document of IALA.

In this paper is proposed to design mobile handset antenna for make mobile handset more compact and thin. This antenna has an advantage of performing different frequency bands by one antenna design. For this purpose, a varactor diode is used in antenna design. Design and simulations are done using CST Microwave Studio program. A Reconfigurable Antenna is designed by using the FR-4 (lossy) substrate with the dielectric constant of er=4.3 and dielectric loss tangent 0.025. The substrate thickness of h=1.6㎜, length=L_sub, width=W_sub. The ground is designed by using the PEC material with h-0.035㎜ and length=3/L_sub. The patch designed by using the copper with h=0.035㎜, length=1/L_sub. In a result, return loss was below (S|11|<-13㏈ at 2.1㎓, S|11|<-24㏈ at 2.4㎓ and S|11|<-13㏈ at 2.6㎓ band. It is used varactor diode for tunably. Tunability is 5.19% at 2.1㎓, 0.035% at 2.4㎓ and 12.5% at 2.6㎓. VSWR=1.5 at 2.1㎓, VSWR=1.1 at 2.48㎓ and VSWR=1.5 at 2.6㎓. In the future, this antenna design will be fabricated and used in a mobile handset systems.

Bayarmaa.O,Hun Kim,Eun-Sil Jang,Bit-Na Kim,Yang-Ro Ju,Kab-Ki Kim 한국정보기술학회 2011 Proceedings of KIIT Conference Vol.2011 No.5
In this paper, design of Omni-directional UWB (Ultra-wideband) antenna is proposed. The proposed antenna has a large bandwidth totally satisfying the requirement of UWB applications 3.1㎓~10.6㎓ with Omni-directional radiation patterns. The antenna has a small area of 2.2 x2.2cm2 and thickness 1.5㎜. As a result the simulation has good return loss below -10㏈ over the bandwidth.
