A case of symptomatic Rathke's cleft cyst, which recurred five months after drainage of the cyst using transs-phenoidal approach, is presented. Symptomatic recurrence after surgery of Rathke's cleft cyst is very rare and nine cases have been reported in the literatures. The radiological and pathologic features and clinical course of this unusual case are described. Recent concepts about embryological pathogenesis and clinical behavior mimicking craniopharyngioma are discussed with the review of literature.

연구목적: Estrogen은 포유류의 생리주기와 착상과정에서 중요한 조절인자로 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 난소 절제된 생쥐의 자궁에서 estrogen에 의해 직접 또는 간접적으로 조절되어 발현하는 유전자를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구재료 및 방법: 생후 8주된 생쥐의 양쪽 난소를 절제하고 14일 동안 회복기간이 지난 후, estrogen (300 ng/mouse)을 피하로 주사하였다. Estrogen 주사 후 6, 12시간째 자궁을 적출하여 cDNA microarray와 laser capture microdissection (LCM) 기술을 이용하여 estrogen에 의해 조절되는 유전자의 시공간적인 발현 양상을 조사하였다. 결 과: Estrogen 주사 후 6시간째에는 조사된 전체 유전자 가운데 0.9% (증가 22, 감소 49), 12시간째에는 8.4% (증가 351, 감소 287)에 해당되는 유전자가 두 배 이상 증가 혹은 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 또한 일부 증감된 유전자를 선택한 후 LCM 기술을 이용하여 시공간적인 발현양상을 확인한 결과 자궁내막상피세포에서만 estrogen에 의해 유전자의 발현이 증가되는 일부 유전자를 선별하였다. 결 론: 이상의 결과들을 종합해보면 1) estrogen에 의해 조절되는 유전자의 수나 증감의 정도는 12시간 이후에 더 많고, 크게 조절되며, 2) 유전자의 조절부위가 자궁의 특이적인 세포층에서 시공간적으로 조절됨을 의미한다. 이러한 유전자의 정보는 생리주기 또는 착상과정의 분자생물학적 기작을 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

Objective: The Id family of helix-loop-helix proteins are thought to affect the balance between cell growth and differentiation by negatively regulating the function of basic-helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcriptional factors. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression pattern of Ids (Id-1, -2, -3, and -4) in preimplantation mouse embryos at mRNA and protein levels. Methods: Oocytes and preimplantation embryos were collected from reproductive organs of female ICR mice following superovulation. RT-PCR was performed to investigate the mRNA expression patterns of Id genes and their protein were localized by immunofluorescence analysis. Results: Id-1 and Id-3 mRNAs were strongly expressed at the germinal vesicle (GV) oocyte and the blastocyst stages. Id-2 mRNA was expressed throughout preimplantation embryo development, but Id-4 was not expressed. Immunofluorescence showed that Id-1 and Id-2 were predominantly localized in cytoplasmic region, but the immunofluorescence signal of Id-3 was weak throughout preimplantation embryo development. Conclusion: These data show for the first time that Ids are expressed in preimplantation mouse embryos and suggest that Ids may play an important role in early preimplantation embryo development and uterine physiological changes.
생쥐 배아에서 Heparin-Binding Epidermal Growth Factor가 MMP-9과 ATPase ${\gamma}$-subunit 유전자의 발현에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (HB-EGF) on the rate of blastocyst formation and hatching in the mouse embryos and the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and ATPase ${\gamma}$-subunit mRNA. Methods: Late 2-cell mouse embryos was cultured for 72 hours in RTF medium containing with 1, 10, and 100 ng/ml HB-EGF. The mRNA expression level of MMP-9 and ATPase ${\gamma}$-subunit was detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results: The rate of hatching was significantly higher (p<0.05) in group containing with 1 ng/ml HB-EGF than other groups. Also, the rate of hatched blastocyst was significantly higher (p<0.05) in 10 ng/ml. The mRNA expression level of MMP-9 mRNA was not shown any difference among groups, but ATPase ${\gamma}$-subunit was higher than other groups. Conclusions: Taken together these results suggest that HB-EGF has the positive effect to promote the blastocyst formation and hatching process and influences the blastocoel expansion by promoting the ATPase mRNA expression in the mouse embryos.

Rollover Protection CAE model of SUV was developed using MADYMO in this paper. The vehicle model includes a detailed description of the suspension system. The model was correlated by Drop Test. The correlated model was used to simulate untripped (Embankment, Corkscrew) and tripped (Curb-Trip, Soil-Trip) rollover, the results of simulation was compared with experimental data obtained from these test modes. Use of the MADYMO based models help to support rollover sensing algorithm development and set up test Matrix for rollover sensor testing.
다매체적 교수·학습 전략을 통한 통합적 체육교육으로의 접근과 적용

본 연구의 목적은 체육수업의 효과성 증진을 위해 활용되고 있는 웹기반 교수·학습 매체의 역할과 기능을 교수·학습의 보조적 수단이라는 관점에서 탈피하여 주도적이고 기능주의적 관점에서 접근하고 적용사례를 통해 살펴봄으로써 다매체적 교수·학습 전략을 통한 통합적 체육교육으로의 실현 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서 첫째, 체육교육을 위한 교수매체와 교육환경의 변화를 검토하고 둘째, 통합적 체육교육을 위해 블랜디드 러닝이 기초로 하고 있는 다매체적 접근의 시대적 필연성과 교육 패러다임 변화에 따른 유용성을 제시한다. 셋째, 블랜디드 러닝을 적용한 통합적 체육교육으로의 실천적 사례로 대학 교양체육 실기수업에서 매체 확장성과 연계된 교수설계와 고등인지 및 내재적 동기유발, 학습활동의 변화에 대한 학습자의 반응을 살펴본다. 마지막으로 통합적 체육교육으로의 효율적인 실천을 위해 다매체적 접근에 대한 관점과 제언을 제시한다. The purpose of this study is to look for the actualization of teaching and learning strategy with web-based methods for integrative physical education, which has been regarded as auxiliary tool only. However, this study will focus on the role and function of web based teaching and learning method with the affirmative and functional view through the former cases. The below works will be performed to achieve the purpose. Firstly, the study researches the change of educational environment and teaching method of physical education. Secondly, for the Integrative physical education, the study presents the necessity of multimedia approaches to the blended learning and the availability in accordance to the education paradigm. Thirdly, the study verifies the teaching structure related to the methodical extension through the practical case of Integrative physical education in the university as blended learning and screens the learners` reaction about higher cognition, internal motivation, and changes of learning activity. Lastly, This study provides the point of view and suggestion on the multimedia approach for the Integrative physical education.
