N/A Background: A number of theories have been proposed to explain the nature of aging process. Unfortunately, there is so far no theory that can completely explain all aging processes. In the present study, to investigate roles of inducibility of defense mechanisms by oxidative stress, cellular mRNA level of super oxide dismutases (SODs) and metallothionein (MT) as well as their inducibility by paraquat, an intracellular super oxide generator , was examined in the liver and kidney of the mice of aging process. Methods: The steady-state levels of SODs and MT mRNA and their induction by paraquat were determined by the RT-PCR assay in male mice of 4 ages, 1, 4, 8, and 12 months. Results: In the liver, the steady-state levels of Mn-SOD, Cu/Zn-SOD and MT mRNA increased until 8 months with age and decreased significantly at 12 months. Cu/Zn- SOD and MT mRNA were induced well by paraquat at all ages but Mn-SOD mRNA not at 12 months. In the kidney, their mRNA levels of Mn-SOD, Cu/Zn-SOD and MT increased with age. Mn-SOD mRNA was induced by paraquat only at 1 month but Cu/Zn-SOD mRNA not at all ages. On the other hand, MT mRNA was significantly induced by paraquat at all ages. Conclusion: These results suggest that SODs and MT are differentially expressed and induced according to the age and organs . In addition, it is thought that the lack of induction of Mn-SOD by oxidative stress in both the liver and kidney may be one of causative factors in the aging process while Cu/Zn-SOD and MT in the liver and MT in the kidney may play protective roles in the aging process. It is therefore implicated that the tissue antioxidant/prooxidant balance could be one of determinants of mean life span. (Korean J Med 61:430-438, 2001)

We performed molecular dynamics simulations on the conventional MOF, IRMOF-14 and the catenated MOF with two MOF chains, IRMOF13, to find out rational design and synthetic strategies toward efficient hydrogen storage materials. The molecular dynamics calculations were done using Universal force fields and the analysis of result was performed during the NVE dynamics after preliminary NVT dynamics at 77K. The results showed the density of adsorbed hydrogen molecules was increased in the various pores created by catenation of MOFs while the large amount of volume in conventional MOF was not effectively utilized to store hydrogen. Those calculation results commonly showed the proper control of pore si Be for hydrogen storage into MOF by catenation would be one of the efficient ways to increase hydrogen capacity of MOFs.

Hydrogen adsorption mechanism onto the porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) has been studied by density functional theory calculation. The selected functionals for the predict ion of interact ion energies between hydrogen and potential adsorption sites of MOF was utilized after the evaluation with the various functionals for interaction energy of H₂C<sub>6</sub>H<sub>6</sub> model system the adsorption energy of hydrogen molecule into MOF was investigated with the consideration of the favorable adsorption sites and the orientations. We also calculated the second favorable adsorption sites by geometry optimization using every combination of two first absorbed hydrogen molecules. Based on the calculation of first and second adsorption sites and energies, the hydrogen adsorption into MOF follows a cooperative mechanism in which the initial metal sites initiate the propagation of the hydrogen adsorption on the whole frameworks. In addition, it was found that the interaction strength between the simple benzene ring with hydrogen is significantly reinforced when the benzene ring has been incorporated into the framework of MOFs.

최근 지적정보는 풍부한 전산 인프라를 통하여 매우 급속히 발전하고 있으며, 우리나라의 지적정보는 현재 공시되는 공적장부와 지적측량성과, 지적기록물로 분류할 수 있다. 지적관련 기록물은 공공기록물관리에 관한 법률에 지적측량결과도, 면적측정부, 측량성과도 등은 영구 보관하도록 규정하고 있으며, 한국토지정보시스템에서는 공시되는 자료만을 포함하고 있어, 지적측량성과에 대한 데이터베이스 구축이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 지적정보 중 지적관리 및 지적측량에 사용빈도가 높은 지적측량성과와 지적 기록물에 대하여 지적측량성과 데이터 세트로 설정하고, 현재 공시되는 지적공부의 정보와 연계할 수 있는 지적측량성과 데이터 세트 구축에 관한 연구를 목적으로 한다. Recently cadastral data has been being very rapidly developed by an abundant of computational infrastructure, Korean cadastral data can be classified into official book, cadastral surveying result and cadastral recording announced officially, Archives related with cadastre such as cadastral surveying result map, planimetry book and surveying result map so on should be stored permanently according to the Public Archives Management. As the Korean Land Information System should include data announced officially, it needs to establish a database of cadastral surveying results. In this paper, cadastral surveying results and cadastral archives used most frequently in cadastral management and cadastral surveying are set up as a data set of cadastral surveying results and an establishment approach of a data set of cadastral surveying results connected with data of cadastral books is studied.
