In this study, the relationship between strength and damping capacity of annealed magnesium alloysafter hot rolling was investigated. The microstructure of hot rolled magnesium consisted of dendrite structure andMg17Al12 compounds precipitated along the grain boundary. The dendrite structure was dissipated, Mg17Al12 compoundswas decomposed by annealing, and then its dissolved in α-Mg. With an increasing the annealing temperatureand time, strength was slowly decreased and damping capacity was slowly increased by the growth of grainsize and decreasing of defects induced by hot rolling. In annealing treatmented magnesium alloys after hot rolling,damping capacity was decreased rapidly with an increase of strength. There was on proportional relationshipbetween tensile strength, and damping capacity.

The Remote welding system(RWS) using $CO_2$ laser equipment has focusable distance of laser beam longer than 800 mm from workpiece and can deflect the laser beam by the scanner mirrors very rapidly. In the case of normal welding system based on robot, there is a limit to move the shortest path in short time and this causes interference between robot and workpiece. On the other hand, RWS is the optimized equipment to get big merits with advanced sequence of welding and short cycle time. However, there is still a pending task such as the control of plasma in the welding process of thick sheets therefore, it requires high power laser beam because of the absence of assist gas equipment in itself. In this study, high-tensile steel plates were overlap welded with $CO_2$ RWS for the production of car body and the influence of penetration depth according to the existence of assist gas was analyzed. Excellent tensile strength with enough width of molten zone independent to penetration depth was observed under welding condition with 3.6 kW laser power and 2.8 m/min welding speed without assist gas. Finally, the proto-type automotive parts were produced by applying the deduced optimal welding condition.

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is an autosomal-dominant hereditary disorder manifested by a combina- tion of mucocutaneous pigmentations and gastrointestinal polyposis. Although the polyps are believed to he benign in nature, recently it has been realized that patients with this syndrome are subject to increasing risk for the developement of malignant neoplasm during long term follow-up. When investigating the neoplastic changes within Peutz-Jeghers polyps, pseudoinvasion-epithelial misplacement, should be carefully ruled out. In this report, we present a case of a 16-year old female who was operated or for intussusception caused by Peutz-Jeghers polyp in the small intestine, which showed pseudoinvasion-epithelial misplacement, initially misdiagnosed as adeho-carcinoma. To find out any possibility of the development of malignant neoplasm, the entire gastrointestinal tract from esophagus to rectum was searched via endoscopy and intraoperative enteroscopy, and all of the polyps were removed. 이미지 속 문자열 탐지에 대한 YOLO와 EAST 신경망의 성능 비교

본 논문에서는 최근 다양한 분야에서 많이 활용되고 있는 YOLO와 EAST 신경망을 이미지속 문자열 탐지문제에 적용해보고 이들의 성능을 비교분석 해 보았다. YOLO 신경망은 v3 이전 모델까지는 이미지 속 문자영역 탐지에 낮은 성능을 보인다고 알려졌으나, 최근 출시된 YOLOv4와 YOLOv5의 경우 다양한 형태의 이미지 속에 있는 한글과 영문 문자열 탐지에 뛰어난 성능을 보여줌을 확인하고 향후 문자 인식 분야에서 많이 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The laser strengthening of $35kgf/\textrm{mm}^2$ grade steel sheet is investigated by using $CO_2$ laser beam irradiation. The increase of tensile strength is dominated by the number of fully penetrated melting lines. Also, the optimal laser irradiation pattern is obtained by 3-point bending test. Local laser strengthening clay be effective for the weight reduction of automobile components where the tailored welded blank can not be applied.
