      • Polystyrene 입자 수용액에서 프랙탈 차원에 관한 광산란 실험 연구

        Using light scattering technique, we measured intensities of scattered light from aggregation of polystyrene particles of 114nm in a solution of NaCl in the concentration from 0.15 to 2mol/ℓIntensity data give direct information that aggregated cluster are built with fractal structure ; We find that the value for fractal dimension of aggregation in the fast regime 1.25≤c≤2mol/ℓis 1.55 ±0.05 that is nearly consistent with diffusion-limited-aggregation model, whereas in the slow regime (0.3≤c≤0.5mol/ℓ)the value of fractal dimension is 2.12±0.05 agreed with reaction-limited-aggregation model.

        Allylisothiocyanate 첨가가 Aflatoxin 생성 곰팡이 대사산물의 생합성에 미치는 영향

        The effects of allylisothiocyanate on the biosynthesis of various fungus metabolites such as sterigrnatocystin, lipid, protein, citrate RNA and AMP from the culture of Aspergillius parasiticus R-716 were investigated. The content of sterigmatocystin, the precursor of aflatoxin, was lower in the culture added with 50ppm allylisothiocyanate after 48 hours, however was rather higher after 144 hours compared to that of the control. The addition of allylisothiocyanate resulted in the increase of lipid, protein, RNA in mycelium and the content of citrate in the media, but the amount of AMP was low.

        We have calculated the irradiance distribution function of diffraction for a regularly triangular aperture and obtained the diffraction pattern by the com-puter simulation. Also the diffraction pattern has been observed by the Fraunhofer diffraction experiment. From these results we find that the distribution of diffraction has three symmetric axes and the diffraction pattern in each axes has an alternating bright and dark fringes like the pattern of a single slit.

        魯迅의 『광인일기(狂人日記)』에 대한 똘스또이 문학(文學)의 영향(影響)

        Tolstoi wrote 『The Diary of a Lunatic(狂人日記)』in 1884, and expressed the mental struggle against the traditional thoughts and ``Schizophrenia`` in the second half of life. And Lu Xun who wrote the first short story in vernacular in 1918, criticizing the traditional chinese considered themselves to be ``a lunatic``. These two persons like unconstrained lunatics tried to put their will into practice, tolerating any hardship. Of course, Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, Vsevolod Mikhailovich Garshin, and other Russian writers affectted Lu Xun`s works. But Tolstoi`s influence on Lu Xun cann`t be neglected as well. Analyzing Lu Xun`s 『The Diary of a Lunatic』, it`s very clear that it overlaps with Tolstois` at the face of thoughts, feelings and aesthetic empathy. The two novels 『the Diary of a Lunatic(狂人日記)』are very similar not only at the title, but also at the structure of subject and the characteristics of figures. The two lunatics in the works have a strong will to root out social evils and to realize a just society in spite of their deprived fate alike. They resist against social evils persistently with humanitarian spirit. And the two works take the story structure as ``ending - beginning - developing``, instead of ``beginning - developing - ending`` form Especially in the beginning of Lu Xun`s novel which is evaluated as ``ending`` in fact, to mention the lunatic`s recovery from disease, the doctor`s research of no necessity to be stated in the context, and the process of the novel`s being published is the result of influence from Tolstoi`s 『The Diary of a Lunatic(狂人日記)』 1884년에 똘스또이는 『광인일기』를 썼으며, 반전통의 사상으로서 인생의 후반에 직면한심적인 투쟁과 ‘정신적인 분열’을 겪게 된 것을 명시했다. 그런데 1918년에 20세기 첫 단편소설 『광인일기(狂人日記)』로서 반전통을 부르짖은 루쉰도 자신을 ‘미치광이’ 라고 자처하였다. 이들은 반전통을 구현(具現)하는 임무가 막중하다는 것을 깊이 알고서, 거리낌 없는 ‘미치광이’같이 어떤 어려움에도 굴하지 않고 외롭게 자신의 뜻을 실천하고자 했다.52)루쉰의 『광인일기』를 살펴보면 똘스또이의 문학작품들과 창작 면에서의 생각, 감정, 심미적 공감이 아주 크다고 할 수 있다. 두 사람의 작품은 제목뿐만 아니라 내용의 구성에서부터 시작하여 작품의 주제, 인물형상 등에 이르기까지 매우 유사하다. 루쉰의 작품에 끼친 러시아작가들의 영향을 전반적으로 관찰하면, 고골과 가르신의 영향과 함께 똘스또이가 차지하는 비중 또한 크다. 두 사람은 문학창작 면에서의 유사점과 연계성이 명확하며 서로 밀착되어 있다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 루쉰의 문학창작에 미친 똘스또이의 영향은 결코 간과해서는 안된다. 전자들과 함께 또 다른 영향을 받은 것으로 보이기 때문이다. 두 『광인일기』의 주인공 광인은 불우한 운명 속에 처해있지만 사회악을 바로잡고 정의사회를 구현하려는 강한 의지가 있다. 두 작품은 극적 인도주의적 정신과 태도를 견지하는 ‘광인’을 통해 도처의 사회악에 집요하게 저항하며 주제를 강하게 부각시키고 있다. 또한, 두 작품은 소설의 일반적인 서사형식인 ‘시작 - 전개 - 마무리’의 형식을 취하지 않고, ‘마무리 - 시작 - 전개’의 형식을 취하고 있다는 것이다. 소설의 서두에서 두 ‘광인’의병이 모두 이미 나았다는 것을 밝힌 것, 언급하지 않아도 될 의학자 이야기, 소설이 나오게 된 배경을 언급 하는 등이 바로 똘스또이의 작품들로부터 『광인일기』가 지대한 영향을 받은 결과라고 본다.

        Morphological Analysis of Blind-Side Hypermelanosis of the Starry Flounder, Platichthys stellatus during Early Development

        In Pleuronectiformes, blind-side malpigmentation (hypermelanosis) is common in cultured flatfishes, and is economically important. To understand the mechanism of blind-side hypermelanosis in flatfishes, we examined when the malpigmentation initially occurred, and studied how the symptoms proceeded during early development of the starry flounder, Platichthys stellatus. To assess quantitative pattern changes of blind-side skin, we observed morphological development of the whole body from 22 (total length [TL] 10.0±0.2 mm and body weight [BW] 8.8±0.57 mg) to 110 days (TL 23.4±0.7 mm, BW 193.6±23.3 mg) after hatching (DAH), and also examined the malpigmented area rate of blind-side skin and the malpigmented fish ratios. The experimental animals were reared in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks in water at a temperature of 18.9±1.9℃ and salinity of 32.6±0.6 psu and were fed with rotifer and Artemia nauplii from 22 to 48 DAH, and with A. nauplii and commercial feed from 49 to 110 DAH. As results, the first staining patch seen by the naked eye was observed around the area between the anus and pelvic fin or caudal edge of the trunk at 80 DAH (TL 20.6±0.5 mm, BW 112.5±8.8 mg). The pigmented area and the pigmented fish ratios were significantly increased from 80 to 110 DAH. These results indicated that malpigmentation on the blind side of starry flounder was initially observed at about 2 cm in length and 100 mg in weight, and the pigmented domain on the blind-side skin was continually broadened by the differentiation of pigmented cells (melanophores and xanthophores) with growth.

      • 광 산란 실험에 의한 Polystyrene 수용액에서 Fractal 구조에 관한 연구

        Polystyrene 수용액에서의 응집현상을 광 산란 실험을 이용하여 연구하였다. Polystyrene 수용액에 첨가하는 염(NaCl)의 농도를 일정하게 하고 monomer의 농도 Cm을 ???????개/㎤에서 ???????개/㎤로 변하였을 경우 monomer의 농도가 짙은 경우의 fractal 차원은 1.53~1.62이였으나, monomer의 농도를 낮춰감에 따라 fractal차원은 1.75~1.82로 증가하였다. 한편 monomer의 농도를 일정하게 유지하고 염(NaCl)의 농도를 변화하였을 경우 염의 농도가 1<c,≤2mol/l인 경우의 fractal차원은 1.66~1.75로 DLCA 모델과 일치하였으며, 그리고 염의 농도가 0.3≤c,≤0.5 mol/l인 경우의 fractal차원은 2.11±0.03으로 RLCA의 모델과 일치함을 볼 수 있었다. Using a light scattering technique, we measured the intensity of scattered light from an aggregation of polystyrene spheres in a solution of salt. The measurements were carried out at a fixed salt concentration, varying the monomer concentration c, from ??????? to ??????? ptls/㎤ and at a fixed monomer concentration, varying the salt concentration c, from 0.15 to 2 mol/l. The intensity dta gave direct information that aggregated clusters formed a fractal structure. In the case of a fixed salt concentration, we found that at larger monomer concentration, the fractal dimension D was 1.53~1.62, but as the monomer concentration decreased, D grew to 1.73~1.82. In the case of a fixed monomer concentration, we found that in the fast region, the fractal dimension D was 1.66~1.75, which agreed with the value of the DLCA model; in the slow region, D was 2.11±0.03, which also agreed with the value from the RLCA model.

      • 동적 광 산란 실험에 의한 콜로이드 응집의 온도 효과에 관한 연구

        By a dynamic light scattering techique, the correlation functions of polystyrene latex in the solutions of salt(0.3mol/ℓ) have been measured at different temperature of sample. Our results show that the hydrodynamic radius of aggregates at 20 and 25℃ of sample temperature is grown with ??, which is agreed with the RLCA model. AT 30∼50℃ the kinetic process of growth of aggregates forms with a power law ??, which is agreed with the DLCA model ??, the values of b are not coincident with ??, decrease as the temperatures of sample increase.

      • Inverted follicular keratosis : Clinical and dermoscopic features

        Background: Inverted follicular keratosis (IFK) is a benign tumor that is diagnosed mainly histologically, rather than clinically. The pathogenesis of IFK has not been elucidated. It is still controversial as to whether the IFK is distinct hair follicle lesion, old lesion of verruca vulgaris, or seborrheic keratosis. It commonly mimics other lesions such as wart, seborrheic keratosis, and basal cell carcinoma. Dermoscopy is a noninvasive tool that can be helpful in the differential diagnosis of nonpigmented skin tumors. Objectives: To investigate characteristic dermoscopic patterns of IFK, and to find distinctive features that can differentiate them from other lesions. Methods: Clinical features and dermoscopic patterns were evaluated in 15 patients, histologically diagnosed as IFK. Results: The patients were between 42 and 88 years of age with mean age of 64 years. The common sites of occurrence were face and scalp. The dermoscopic features showed glomerular or aborizing vessels surrounded by a whitish halo, central white-yellowish amorphous area, crust/scale, hairpin vessel, and absence of pigmentation (80%, 80%, 80%, 53.3% and 33.3%, respectively). Otherwise, pseudofollicular opening, milia-like cyst, gyrus and sulcus pattern, and fingerprint-like structure (20%, 13.3%, 13.3% and 6.6%, respectively) were uncommon findings. Conclusion: Dermoscopy is useful for differential diagnosis of IFK and other hyperkeratotic lesions.
