      • 腸收縮機能에 미치는 Diazepm의 影響

        This study was carried out to determine the effect of diazepam on the isolated intestinal smooth muscles. The intestinal mucle strips were prepared from mouse duodenum (about 2cm long) and were arranged isometrically, in vitro. Intestinal motility was recorded on a Physiograph (Four-A, Narco Biosystem) with force transducer (F-60) by means of Magnus method in Lock's solution. Diazepam significantly inhibited (p<0.001) the contractility of isolated smooth muscle in concentration of 0. 02, 0. 04, 0. 05, and 0.08mg/ml by dose dependently, and ceased the contraction in the concentration of 0.08mg/ml, and the effect of diazepam was not affected by presamina(10^-6M) propranolol (10^-4M), hexamethonium (10-5M), and acetylcholine (10-4b1). Diazepam inhibited the K^+-induced contraption by dose dependently and also in Ca^++-free Lock's solution, and effect of diazepam (0.08mg/ml) on muscle contraction was same pattern by the, effect of verapamil (10-7M). Diazepam (0.08mg/ml) decreased ^45Ca^++-uptake by the isolated intestinal muscle strip significantly (p<0.05) but more potent effect was observed by verapamil (10^-7M). These results suggested that diazepam inhibited the contractility by inhibiting the Ca++ movement by means of direct interaction with receptor in the muscle membrane.

        유방암에서 CEA, CA15-3 및 TPS의 예후인자로서의 가치

        Purpose: Tumor markers are often used to monitor the response to therapy and to detect recurrences in patients with resected breast cancer. Here we evaluated the prognostic value of the preoperative serum concentrations of tumor markers in patients with breast cancer. Methods: The preoperative serum concentrations of tumor markers (CEA, CA15-3 and TPS) were measured in 670 patients who were treated via potentially curative surgical resection for breast cancer from 2001 to 2004. We investigated the association of the serum concentrations of tumor markers with the disease-free survival and overall survival at the time of the primary diagnosis in relation to the established prognostic factors such as tumor size, lymph node status, hormonal receptor status, age and menopausal status. Results: The established prognostic factors and the elevated preoperative serum tumor marker values were correlated with disease-free survival (CEA: P=0.014, CA15-3: P=0.002 and TPS: P<0.001) and overall survival (CEA: P=0.045, CA15-3: P=0.002 and TPS: P<0.001) on univariate analysis. On multivariate analysis, tumor size, lymph node status, hormone receptor status and TPS (P=0.03) were independent prognostic factors for recurrence and the lymph node status, hormone receptor status and TPS serum level (P<0.001) were independent prognostic factors for overall survival. Conclusion: The preoperative serum concentrations of tumor makers (CEA, CA15-3 and TPS) are strong independent prognostic factors for recurrence and survival in patients with breast cancer. The tests for the preoperativeserum concentrations of tumor markers have convenient and reproducible advantages while the others require tumor tissue. Patients with elevated preoperative serum tumor marker values need appropriate adjuvant therapy, careful monitoring and detection of recurrences during the follow-up period.       • 단상유도전동기의 소프트 기동특성에 관한 연구

        Single phase induction motors(SPIM's) have been widely used in applications of light duty such as washing machines, oil burners, bottle washers, blowers, grinders, machine tools, and a host of other applications. SPIM' s are inherently suitable for single phase power supplies, very simple in structure and rugged, of which rotor structure is generally squirrel cage rotor similar to polyphase induction motors. The SPIM can not start as such motors but once start in a given direction by mechanical switch it can approach nearly synchronous speed on condition that the load torque is not excessive. The capacitor starting method has been widely used to start SPIM for producing a dominant rotating magnetic field at standstill. To overcome the lack of sufficient starting torque, capacitor starting SPIM is provided both capacitor and centrifugal switch in series with the auxiliary winding circuit. A new method to start smoothingly a single phase induction motor by using a TRIAC is presented in this paper without the centrifugal switch. Solid state soft starters based on TRIAC's often used to decrease the starting current of the three phase motors. However, Even today, the capacitor-start single phase induction motor using centrifugal or relay switch is one of the most important and most widely used of all the types of single phase motors. In this paper, single phase induction motor input current was detected by a small current transformer. The soft start strategy is based on limited auxiliary current angle during starting period in the closed loop control. Simulation and experimental results of the SPIM using the TRIAC control are studied and discussed in the aspects of starting characteristics of the SPIM.

        The utility tunnels are the important facility as a mainstay of country because of the latest communication developments. However, the utilities tunnel is difficult to deal with in case of a fire accident. When a cable burns, the black smoke containing poisonous gas will be produced. This black smoke goes into the tunnel, and makes it difficult to extinguish the fire. Therefore, when there was a fire in the utility tunnel, the central nerves of the country had been paralyzed, such as property damage, communication interruption, in addition to inconvenience for people. This paper is based on the fire occurred in the utilities tunnel in the past, and is suggested the case investigation related to fire accidents, the design planning matters, the good maintenance of fire protection systems of tunnels and the flame retardant cable utility of tunnels. The purpose of the study is to protect human being and properties at the occurrence of fire accident, and to present basic material for design of tunnels to minimize damages and losses.

        For the SPIM is can' t generate rotating flux itself, an additional starting system should be installed on the SPIM. There are several methods embody the starting system. Among the methods, capacitor start method is composed of a starting condenser and centrifugal. But the centrifugal switch and the starting condenser have some problems of the starting failure, the breaking under the worse condition and it brings about the short life of the motor. Nowadays, users demand higher efficiency, reliability, miniaturization and noise immunity than the conventional motor. This paper describes a simple but effective method for energy saving of ac motors having a widely variable load. The proposed method is based on an optimal efficiency control which is operated by voltage-current pattern such as to maintain the maximum efficiency on the efficiency-output characteristics of the motor, in voltage control with TRIAC. In this paper, author presents the experimental results of the SPIM under phase angle controlling of current of main and auxiliary winding by using a one-chip microcontroller. Experiments are focused on a capacitor starting single phase induction motor, the optimal energy savingare proved by the proposed method.
