The MIB is the heart of a network management system and stores all information that is necessary for network management. To operate networks safely, it is essential to control accesses to managed objects. Thus, in this paper we divided a manager into three level architecture so as to perform network management more efficiently. We also adopted the role-based access control policy and mendatory access control policy to ensure the secure access and modeled that policy by means of the active object-oriented data model.

안전한 감사 로깅 시스템을 위한 논리적 모델 설계

As the development of infocommunicational technologies and the increase of computer utilization have accelerated the information-oriented society, the security problem of information systems is getting a growing interest and the importance of regulations and procedures for the security problem is increasing. Information systems have to secure the auditability in order to prevent the illegal leakage of information and to track down the violators of control principles. And they also need an audit trail mechanism in order to clarify the information system managers' liabilities and to visualize those users' behaviors. Fundamentally, the audit trail is used as a method for the statistical accountability that tracks down who used which resources in what time and in which order and for the claim of using charge, the maintenance of statistics, the backup and so on. Recently, with the addition of security issues that supervise and log the inappropriate use of system resources, how to track down the illegal access to the information system has become the main issue. In order to construct the audit trail mechanism as above-mentioned, this study proposes a logical model for safe audit logging system based on UNIX system, according to the utility, the security and the perpetuity of audit log and the implantation onto the existing systems.

영어자원문법을 활용한 신경망 기계번역의 데이터 증강과 성능 평가

Machine translation commonly involves both analysis and generation across different human languages. This implies that parallel corpora of a large size are essential to create a theoretically reliable and practically robust translation model. However, as is well known, the parallel corpora between Korean and English are insufficient. In this respect, this study expands the data by means of English Resource Grammar (Flickinger 2000) to improve the translation model between the languages. Then, it looks at whether the neural machine translation model performs better with the augmented data. Unfortunately, it turns out the translation models based on augmented data exhibit rather lower BLEU scores. This study further discusses the reason for the unsatisfactory scores and raises the necessity of human evaluation as a next step.

Retrieval of information from memory is a fundamental operation for any learning activity, as well as for the subsequent use of what is learned. A clear understanding of why and how certain information is more easily retained and retrived than other information is essestial to any systematic attempt to improve learning. It is essential for efficiently improving learning texts, especially concerning their cohesion characteristics, as well as for improving the use the knowledge acquired through the texts. in this terms, this study is to review the models for explanation of the effects of relative importance of information in texts. the reviews lead to conclude that the level effects are due to selective retrieval from memory.

The Hough transform is a robust technique which is useful in deteching strait lines in an edge-enhanced picture. However, the extension of the conventional Hough transform to recover circles and ellipses has been limited by slow speed and excessive memory size of the accumulator array. Based on these techniques, only a 2-dimensional array is needed for the detection of circles and ellipses. The approach centres on the use of parallel edge points and a method on reducing the dimension of the accumulator array.

接待費 會計에 관한 硏究

Since the foreign exchange crisis, the year of 1997, Korean companies have faced some problems about transparency in accounting. Especially accounting for Entertainment Expense is thought to be the very serious item in Korea. Accounting for Entertainment Expense is considered a necessary evil. It helps companies maintain proper relationship with customers, or win new orders. There are some entertainment transactions to which they cannot attach proper receipts. Hence, sometimes Entertainment Expenses are buried in some expenses. Some people draw an analogy between the so-called "prisoner's dilemma" and accounting for Entertainment Expense. If rival companies didn't pay Entertainment Expense, we may not pay them too. As a result it is beneficiary to both sides by not paying unnecessary expense. It should be taken account in the cultural differences between the Oriental and the Occidental world in accounting for Entertainment Expense. It is well known that individualism prevails in the Western world, while collectivism prevails in the Oriental world. Therefore, in the Oriental world where collectivism prevails, accounting for Entertainment Expense is tolerated rather generously even if it lacks transparency. But there are many controversial cases where accounting for Entertainment Expense is misused for such purposes as manipulating earnings or creating slush fund. Moreover companies are virtually required to incur Entertainment Expense to survive in a highly competitive business environment where there no clear differences in product quality. Companies should try to remain competitive through quality improvement, superior technologies and so forth, but not through behind the curtain entertainment activities. Even though we admit that Entertainment Expense is a necessary evil, a system must be established to regulate excessive Entertainment Expense and to monitor or prevent earnings manipulation and creation of slush fund.

큐브선택과 변환행렬을 이용한 이단계 리드뮬러회로의 설계

In this paper, an effective method for the minimization of two-level Reed-muller circuits using cube selection and transform matrices is presented. In contrast to the previous methods which use Xlinking operations to join two cubes for minimization, the cube selection method tries to select cubes at a time until they cover the ON-set of the given function. This method works for most benchmark circuits, but for parity-type functions it shows poor performance. To solve this problem, spectral methods which use transform matrices are employed. Given function is transformed into cube-type functions by transform matrices and applied to the cube selection method. Experimental results shows better performance in many cases including parity-type functions compared to previous results.

전류 위상각 제어에 의한 단상유도전동기의 에너지 절감에 관한 연구

For the SPIM is can' t generate rotating flux itself, an additional starting system should be installed on the SPIM. There are several methods embody the starting system. Among the methods, capacitor start method is composed of a starting condenser and centrifugal. But the centrifugal switch and the starting condenser have some problems of the starting failure, the breaking under the worse condition and it brings about the short life of the motor. Nowadays, users demand higher efficiency, reliability, miniaturization and noise immunity than the conventional motor. This paper describes a simple but effective method for energy saving of ac motors having a widely variable load. The proposed method is based on an optimal efficiency control which is operated by voltage-current pattern such as to maintain the maximum efficiency on the efficiency-output characteristics of the motor, in voltage control with TRIAC. In this paper, author presents the experimental results of the SPIM under phase angle controlling of current of main and auxiliary winding by using a one-chip microcontroller. Experiments are focused on a capacitor starting single phase induction motor, the optimal energy savingare proved by the proposed method.
