This study was carried out to obtain data on specific gravity, shrinkage and absorption reasonable and effctive utilization of Quercus serrta Thunb. The results obtained were summarized follow : 1. Specific gravity in the green condition was 0.98±0.05, in the airdry condition was 0.84±0.04, in the ovendry condition was 0.77±0.04 and bulk density was 608±21Kg/m^(3) 2. The results of shrinkage are given in the table 2, the ratio of tangential shrinkage to radial shrinkage in shrinkage from green to oven dried appears 2.04. 3. The results of absorption and absorption of water are given in the table 3.
A Viterbi Decoder with Efficient Memory Management

This paper proposes a new architecture for a Viterbi decoder with an efficient memory management scheme. The trace-back operation is eliminated in the architecture and the memory storing intermediate decision information can be removed. The elimination of the trace-back operation also reduces the number of operation cycles needed to determine decision bits. The memory size of the proposed scheme is reduced to 1/(5×constraint length) of that of the register exchange scheme, and the throughput is increased up to twice that of the trace-back scheme. A Viterbi decoder complying with the IS-95 reverse link specification is designed to verify the proposed architecture. The decoder has a code rate of 1/3, a constraint length of 9, and a trace-forward depth of 45.

Low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes are recently emerged due to its excellent performance. However, the parity check (H) matrices of the previous works are not adequate for hardware implementation of encoders or decoders. This paper proposes a hybrid parity check matrix which is efficient in hardware implementation of both decoders and encoders. The hybrid H-matrices are constructed so that both the semi-random technique and the partly parallel structure can be applied to design encoders and decoders. Using the proposed methods, the implementation of encoders can become practical while keeping the hardware complexity of the partly parallel decoder structures. An encoder and a decoder are designed using Verilog-HDL and compared with the previous results. Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code는 최근 그 우수한 성능으로 인하여 4세대 무선 이동 통신용 채널 코딩으로 주목받고 있고 유럽의 고화질 위성방송 규격으로 채택되었다. 그러나 기존의 연구들이 제안한 parity check matrix (H-matrix)는 실제로 하드웨어로 구현함에 있어서 인코더 혹은 디코더에 제약을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 인코더와 디코더 양쪽 모두 효율적으로 하드웨어로 구현이 가능한 hybrid H-matrix 구조를 제안한다. Hybrid H-matrix는 semi-random 방식과 partly parallel 방식을 결합하여 하드웨어로 구현시 partly parallel 방식이 가지는 디코더의 복잡도가 감소되는 장점을 유지하면서 인코더 또한 semi-random 방식을 사용하여 복잡도가 감소된다. 제안한 구조를 사용하여 LDPC 인코더와 디코더를 설계하고 합성하여 기존의 결과와 비교하였다.

Purpose: Our objective was to evaluate the use of a holmium laser for transurethral deroofing of a prostatic abscess in patients with severe and multiloculated prostatic abscesses. Materials and Methods: From January 2011 to April 2014, eight patients who were diagnosed with prostatic abscesses and who underwent transurethral holmium laser deroofing at Pusan National University Hospital were retrospectively reviewed. Results: Multiloculated or multifocal abscess cavities were found on the preoperative computed tomography (CT) scan in all eight patients. All patients who underwent transurethral holmium laser deroofing of a prostatic abscess had successful outcomes, without the need for secondary surgery. Of the eight patients, seven underwent holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) for the removal of residual adenoma. Markedly reduced multiloculated abscess cavities were found in the follow-up CT in all patients. No prostatic abscess recurrence was found. Transient stress urinary incontinence was observed in three patients. The stress urinary incontinence subsided within 3 weeks in two patients and improved with conservative management within 2 months in the remaining patient. Conclusions: Transurethral holmium laser deroofing of prostatic abscesses ensures successful drainage of the entire abscess cavity. Because we resolved the predisposing conditions of prostatic abscess, such as bladder outlet obstruction and prostatic calcification, by simultaneously conducting HoLEP, there was no recurrence of the prostatic abscesses after surgery. We recommend our method in patients requiring transurethral drainage.
