In this paper, our objective is to propose a new approach designed for computationly efficient simulation of the transport effect important in mordern device. This approach is an extension of the flux method introduced by Mclvey et al. Their flux method, reformulated in terms of scattering matrices with the extended flux method, one can evaluate the carrier distribution function as well as the position-dependent current and carrier densities. In addition, we propose how the flux method is extended to resolve carrier flux in the momemtum space. Our describle a new approach to the simulation of advanced semiconductor devices and demonstrate its capabilities by simple mode device, M-S diode, simulation from the carrier distribution function to the charastrics of the device.

A new synchronized biased-greedy RRT is proposed which leverages the strengths of the biased and greedy RRTs. It combines the advantage of the biased RRT that grows trees towards the goal location, with the ability of the greedy RRT that makes trees traverse the environment in a single iteration. The proposed method achieves performance improvements compared to other RRT variants, not only in computational time but also in the quality of the path. Two enhancements are made to the initial path to relax the sub-optimality of the RRT path; first a path pruning algorithm is executed to eliminate redundant nodes and an anytime strategy is adapted to continuously enhance the quality of the path within the deliberation time.

This paper presents a path planning algorithm of the unmanned aerial vehicle for the neutralization of the enemy firepower. The long range firepower of the ememy is usually located at the rear side of the mountain which is difficult to bomb. The path planner not only consider the differential constraints of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) but also consider the final approaching angle constraint. This problem is easily solved by incorporating the analytical upper bounded continuous curvature path smoothing algorithm into the Rapidly Exploring Random Tree (RRT) planner. The proposed algorithm can build a feasible path satisfying the kinematic constraints of the UAV on the fly. In addition, the curvatures of the path are continuous over the whole path. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can generate a feasible path of the UAV for the bombing mission regardless of the posture of the tunnel.

This paper describes design, fabrication, and performance of an ultra-high-speed and low-noise MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) preamplifier for a 10 Gb/s optical receiver. The transimpedance type 3-stage MMIC preamplifier for ultra-high-speed and low-noise was designed using an AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs P-HEMTs(Pseudomorphic High Electron Mobility Transistors) with 0.15${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ length T-shaped gate. To obtain broadband characteristics, we used the inductor peaking technique, and the gate width was optimized for low noise performance. Measurements reveal that the fabricated preamplifier has the high transimpedance gain of 60 ㏈Ω and 9.15 ㎓ bandwidth with the noise figure of less than 3.9 ㏈. 본 논문에서는 AlGaAs/lnGaAs/GaAs P-HEMT 소자를 이용한 10 Gb/s 광수신기용 MMIC 초고속 저잡음 전치증폭기를 설계, 제작하고 특성을 분석 하였다. T 형태의 0.15㎛ 게이트 길이를 갖는 P-HEMT 소자를 이용하여 3단 트랜스임피던스 구조로 회로를 설계하였으며 광대역 특성을 얻기 위하여 피킹인덕터를 사용하였고, 저잡음특성을 위하여 게이트폭을 최적화하였다. 제작된 전치증폭기는 트랜스임피던스 이득 60㏈Ω, 대역폭 9.15 ㎓, 잡음지수가 3.9 ㏈ 이하인 특성을 보였다.

This paper presents real time path planning and control algorithms for a rotary wing unmanned aerial vehicle (RUAV) operating in an unknown and cluttered environment. The mission of the RUAV is to navigate from the starting position to the goal position without any prior information about the environment. To achieve this, two approaches are considered in this research, namely InterWeaved Planning and Control (IWPC) and InterGrated Planning and Control (IGPC). In the IWPC strategy, the RUAV replans the path in real time if new obstacles are detected in the environment via its on-board sensors and then generates a control action to track this path. In the IGPC strategy the RUAV generates a control input to head for the goal point while avoiding obstacles without generating a path. Simulation results show that both the IWPC and the IGPC methods can achieve the mission successfully in a cluttered environment.

탐색구조용 무인항공기는 민간부분에서 최근에 활발히 연구되고 있는 분야이다. 탐색임무의 목표는 최단시간에 조난자를 발견하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 조난 구역을 일정한 패턴으로 움직이며 조사하는 방법이 초기에 많이 연구되었다. 그러나 이 방법의 문제점은 탐색임무 초기에 조난자의 정확한 위치를 파악할 수 없기 때문에 탐색 패턴의 형태와 초기 탐색임무 시작위치에 따라 그 성능이 좌우되는 단점이 있다. 이러한 초기 정보의 불확실성에 의해 유발되는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 최근에는 고정적인 패턴 탐색이 아닌 확률론적으로 해당 구역을 탐색하는 방법이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 이 논문은 확률론적 이론을 기반으로 조난자 탐색구조 임무지원을 위한 무인항공기의 탐색에 관한 연구내용이다. 본 연구에서는 상호 정보(Mutual Information)의 정보측정치를 이용하여 조종사의 조난 조종사를 탐색하고 발견된 조종사를 구조팀이 도착하기까지 지속적으로 추적하면 조종사의 위치를 알려주는 탐색 및 추적 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. The application of the UAV for the search and rescue mission is actively investigated recently. The purpose of the search mission is to detect the victim quickly. Initial research for this area is to examine the lost zone with fixed pattern. However, the performance of this approach depends on the initial point and the search pattern. To solve this problem, the probabilistic search approach is studied widely instead of using fixed pattern. This paper is related to the UAV search algorithm based on the probabilistic theory for the support of the search and rescue mission. Mutual information is used as a information measure to search the victim and a search and track simulator is developed to track the victim continuously until the rescue team arrives.

This paper describes the high-speed, low-noise operation of an amplifier using GaAs HEMTs. The design comprises a pin detector followed by a two-stage, transimpedance amplifier employing inductor peaking technique. The simulated 3dB bandwidth is 9.5 GHz, and noise dose not exceed 7.1 pA/?? in the given bandwidth. The transimpedance gain is as high as 60.7dB with 820Ωfeedback resistor.
