        디지털 게임에 대한 계획행동이론의 적용 : 중요한 타인과 균형관계를 중심으로

        This study aimed to examine the mechanisms underlying digital game usage behavior by applying the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Balance Theory. It investigated the influences of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on the intention to use digital games, as well as the differences in the application of the Theory of Planned Behavior model based on the balance state among individuals, significant others, and digital games. A total of 315 responses from adult PC game users were collected through an online survey conducted from October 21 to 25, 2021, and were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that attitude and perceived behavioral control had a significant positive impact on the intention to continue using digital games, while subjective norms did not exert a significant influence. By categorizing groups into balanced, unbalanced, and imbalance states based on the balance relationship, the application of the Theory of Planned Behavior model showed that in the unbalanced and imbalance groups, both perceived behavioral control and attitude had a positive impact on the intention to continue using digital games. However, in the balanced group, attitude only had a positive impact on the intention to continue game usage. This study contributes to understanding digital game users by examining both individual psychological factors and the influence of others on digital game usage behavior 본 연구는 계획행동이론과 균형이론을 적용하여 디지털 게임이용행위의 기제를 살펴보고자 하였다. 태도, 주관적 규범, 지각된 행위통제감이 디지털 게임 이용의도에 미치는 영향력을 확인하고, 개인과 중요한 타인, 디지털게임 간의 균형 상태에 따라 계획행동이론 모형 적용의 차이가 존재하는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 2021.10.21.~25 사이에 온라인 설문조사를 통해 총 315건의 성인 PC게임 이용자 응답을 수집했으며 이를 중다회귀분석으로 분석했다. 분석결과 태도와 지각된 행위 통제감은 지속이용의도에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으나 주관적 규범은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 균형 관계에 따라 집단을 균형, 무균형, 불균형으로 구분하고 집단별로 계획행동이론 모형을 적용한 결과 균형관계가 불균형, 무균형인 경우 지각된 행위통제감과 태도가 지속이용의도에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 균형인 집단에서는 태도만 지속이용의도에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 디지털 게임이용행위에 대한 개인의 심리적 요인과 타인의 영향을 함께 살펴봄으로써 디지털 게임 이용자에 대한 이해에 기여한다는 의의가 있다.

        남성 동성애자의 소셜미디어에 인식과 이용에 관한 탐색적 연구 : SNS, 인터넷 커뮤니티, 데이팅앱이 남성 동성애자의 사회적 관계에 미치는 영향을 중심으로

        This study is an exploratory research that aims to investigate how homosexual men perceive and use social media, focusing on the three main online spaces they use the most: social networking sites (SNS), online communities, and dating apps. The study explores the roles, functions, and meanings of SNS, online communities, and dating apps through the eyes of homosexual men. It also looks into whether using these platforms has an impact on online social support, social capital, and emotional outcomes such as loneliness. A mixed-methods strategy was used to accomplish the research goals, and adult homosexual men in South Korea who had previously used the designated social media platforms participated in in-depth interviews and an online survey. The study was conducted from February 2, 2023, to February 13, 2023, with eight participants being interviewed, and 145 survey responses were collected, out of which 140 were utilized for the analysis. The findings revealed that while SNS, internet communities, and dating apps were commonly expected to serve the function of confirming the presence of others, each online space was observed to elicit distinct expectations based on its usage. Moreover, social media was perceived to hold a semi-essential meaning in homosexual men's social relationships, coexisting as a means to overcome physical space limitations and enhance physical space density. Regarding the impact on social capital, the analysis of the online survey indicated that the usage of internet communities and dating apps did not significantly affect social capital. However, SNS usage demonstrated a static effect on social capital. In-depth interviews highlighted that homosexual men utilize social media to gain a sense of support and security by confirming the presence of others. However, the experience of loneliness was perceived to manifest in complex patterns, with potential increases or decreases depending on the context. According to statistical analysis, SNS usage had a significant impact on online social support, while for loneliness, the statistical model's fit (F-statistic) was not significant, indicating that exploring the influence of homosexual men's social media usage on loneliness was not appropriate. In conclusion, this study holds significance because it illuminates an understudied facet of homosexual men's social media usage in South Korea and aims to provide a comprehensive understanding through a mixed-methods approach. However, it is essential to consider limitations such as potential participant bias towards specific social media platforms, inadequate consideration of differences among each online space, and the small sample size in the interpretation of the findings. 본 연구는 남성동성애자의 소셜미디어에 대한 인식과 이용에 관한 영향을 탐색적으로 살펴본 연구로서, 당사자들이 주로 이용하는 온라인 공간인 SNS, 인터넷 커뮤니티, 데이팅앱이 사회적 관계에서 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 진행됐다. 남성 동성애자에게 SNS, 인터넷 커뮤니티, 데이팅앱과 같은 소셜미디어가 어떠한 기능, 의미, 역할로 인식되는지 살펴보고, 이용에 따라 사회자본이나 온라인 사회적지지, 외로움과 같은 정서적 영향을 받는지 확인했다. 이를 위해 해당 소셜미디어를 이용해본 경험이 있는 국내 성인 남성 동성애자를 대상으로 심층인터뷰와 온라인 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하는 혼합연구방법을 적용했다. 2023.02.02.~02.13.까지 8명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행하고, 온라인 설문조사는 총 145명의 응답을 수집해 140건을 분석에 활용했다. 분석결과 남성 동성애자에게 SNS, 인터넷 커뮤니티, 데이팅앱은 타인의 존재를 확인할 수 있다는 점에서 공통된 기능이 기대되기도 했으나 각 온라인 공간별로 고유한 기대가 존재하는 것으로 관찰됐다. 또한, 남성동성애자의 사회적 관계에서 소셜미디어는 반(半)필수적인 의미를 갖는 것으로 인식됐으며, 물리적 공간의 한계를 극복하는 역할과 물리적 공간의 밀집을 강화하는 역할이 공존하는 것으로 나타났다. 온라인 설문조사를 분석한 결과 인터넷 커뮤니티나 데이팅앱 이용량은 사회 자본에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, SNS이용량은 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 심층 인터뷰에 따르면 남성 동성애자 사이의 사회적 관계에서 소셜미디어를 이용하는 것은 본인이 아닌 다른 당사자를 확인함으로서 지지감과 안정감을 얻는 한편, 외로움은 증가하거나 감소하는 양상이 복합적으로 나타난다고 인식됐다. 통계적 분석결과에 따르면 온라인 사회적 지지의 경우 인터넷 커뮤니티, 데이팅앱 이용량은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나 SNS이용량은 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 외로움의 경우 통계모형의 적합도(F 통계량)가 유의하지 않았으며, 남성동성애자의 소셜미디어 이용량이 외로움에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것은 적절하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국내에서 주목받지 않았던 남성동성애자의 소셜미디어 이용을 살펴보고, 혼합연구를 적용해 구체적인 내용을 파악하고자 노력했다는 의의가 있으나, 연구참여자들이 특정 소셜미디어에 편중됐을 수 있다는 점, 각각의 온라인 공간에 대한 차이를 충분히 고려하지 못한점, 표본의 수가 적다는 점 등에서 한계가 있다.

        20대의 성별갈등 이슈에 대한 선택적 노출이 태도극화에 미치는 영향: 온라인커뮤니케이션의 조절효과를 중심으로

        Gender conflict in Korea is a serious and pervasive social problem, especially among young adults in their 20s. This study was conducted to examine the effects of selective exposure to gender conflict issues on attitude polarization and the moderating effect of online communication among 20’s. Through prior research, the gender conflict issues in the 20s were selected as ‘the abolition of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family’ and ‘the severity of the wage gap by gender’, and online communication was categorized into production behaviors such as writing and sharing, and reception behaviors such as reading and searching. For the study, 329 Korean 20’s were surveyed through a specialized research company, and the analysis showed that selective exposure to gender conflict issues had a static effect on attitude polarization. When analyzing the moderating effect of online communication, there was no significant effect of production behavior, but there was a significant moderating effect of acceptance behavior. Online communication had a negative moderating effect between selective exposure and attitude polarization on the issue of abolishing the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, but a positive moderating effect on the issue of wage disparity. These results suggest that when selective exposure affects attitude polarization, the direction of the moderating effect of online communication may differ depending on the nature of the issue.

        정말 MZ세대 직원은 까다로운 개인주의자일까? : 미디어에서 묘사된 MZ세대 조직원 특징에 대한 당사자의 주관적 인식연구

        Recently, the phrase MZ generation, which refers to Generation M (born 1980-1994) and Generation Z (born 1995-2010), has been widely used in the media. The MZ generation in particular is getting a lot of attention for their qualities as organizational members since they will play a significant role in the organization in the future. However, compared to the active description of the MZ generation characteristics, the discussion on the concept seems to be insufficient. The concept of MZ generation is made up of two generations that can be up to 30 years apart in one category, and the two generations can be utilized in various ways depending on the speakers goal, such as being divided or combined. The appearance of MZ generation members depicted in the media is in a similar situation, and it may be inappropriate for an organization to manage MZ generation members based on these grounds. Therefore, this study attempted to directly examine the subjective perceptions of the parties on the characteristics of MZ generation members depicted in the media. To this end, the analysis was conducted by applying the Q methodology and conducting in-depth interviews. A total of 22 people were sampled and analyzed 11 each from Generation M and Generation Z who belonged to or had experience in the organization. According to in-depth interviews, research participants perceived that members of the MZ generation described in the media had similar characteristics, such as giving opinions without hesitation and prioritizing individuals over organizations, and evaluated these descriptions negatively. To apply the Q methodology, statements were composed focusing on three aspects of attitude to the concept of MZ generation. value to jobs and value to the organization. six subjective types of perception were derived as a result of the analysis. Attitudes toward the concept of the MZ generation were divided into negatively perceived types (Type I, Type II, Type IV) and insignificant types (Type III, Type V, Type VI) compared to aspects such as occupation or organization. There were types that valued jobs (Type II) or pursued professionalism (Type III), but most of them were low in value (Type I, Type IV, Type VI) or indifferent (Type V). The values of the organization were divided into various categories, such as considering the organization as a means (Type I), adapting to a purpose (Type II, Type IV), placing importance on the organizational culture itself (Type III), trying to obey the organization (Type V), and feeling that it does not belong to the organization (Type VI). This study identified how the parties perceive the characteristics of the MZ generation members depicted in the media and identified various subjective types of perceptions of the MZ generation members. Through this, as described in the media, it is suggested that members of the MZ generation need to perceive that various types exist rather than simply being treated like demanding individualists.

        정신질환자에 대한 접촉 경험이 정신질환자에 대한 편견에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 거리감의 매개효과를 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 정신질환자에 대한 접촉경험이 사회적 거리감을 매개로 정신질환자에 대한 편견에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 정신질환자에 대한 사회적 편견 해소와 인식 개선 전략 마련에 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2021년 9월 8일부터 9월 13일까지 300명을 대상으로 접촉경험 유무, 접촉대상, 접촉품질, 사회적 거리감, 정신질환자에 대한 편견을 질문하였다. 분석 결과, 정신질환자에 대한 접촉 경험에 따라 정신질환자에 대한 편견의 차이가 일부 나타났다. 접촉 품질 역시, 사회적 거리감과 정신질환자에 대한 편견에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 또한, 사회적 거리감은 직접 접촉과 정신질환자의 편견 사이를 완전 매개하고 있었으며, 간접 접촉과 정신질환자의 편견 사이에서는 부분 매개 효과를 나타냈다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 정신질환자에 대한 사회적 편견 해소와 인식 개선을 위한 함의와 시사점을 논의하였다. 본 연구는 접촉이론을 기반으로 현재 대중이 지니고 있는 정신질환자에 대한 편견을 다각적으로 분석하였다는 것에 의의가 있다. The present study aimed to provide the reference for finding the ways not only to reduce social prejudice but also to improve the perception toward mental patients based upon the investigation to figure out the possible influence of the contact quality people experience with the patients. In order to accomplish the goal above, this study performed the survey in which total 300 people participated between September 8th and 13th in 2021, asking about the experience of the contact with the mental patients. More specifically, the participants were asked in the survey to answer their contact experience, the information of the patients they contacted with, a sense of social distance they felt, and possible prejudice they had toward the mental illness and patients. In the results, the researchers reported that there were some differences in terms of the level of prejudice toward the mental patients based upon people’s different contact experience with the patients. In addition, it was also found that a sense of social distance and people’s prejudice toward mental patients were influenced by their quality of the contact experience with mental patients. Also, it was possible to discover that a sense of social distance fully mediated the relationship between people’s direct experience with mental patients and the prejudice they had toward the patients. Lastly, this study discussed the suggestions for the issues regarding the ways to reduce the people’s prejudice toward the mental illness and the patients. The researchers believed that the insight from this study could be very meaningful, since it was the first time to analyze the possible prejudice people could have using the theory of contact.

        환경 관련 대인 커뮤니케이션, 미디어 채널별 정보 노출이 친환경행동의도에 미치는 영향 환경관여도의 매개 역할을 중심으로

        This study aims at investigating the structural relationship between environmental interpersonal communication, media exposure to environmental information, eco-friendly behavior intentions and environmental involvement. The study was progressed by a research company collected data (N = 324) for analysis. A structural equation model integrating the main variables above was constructed for verifying if media exposure to environmental information positively predicts environmental interpersonal communication, how environmental involvement was influenced by media exposure and interpersonal communication and the mediation effect of environmental involvement on eco-friendly behaviors. As the results of a path analysis, the model was supported with an acceptable model fit index. Media exposure to environmental information was proved to be positively predicting environmental interpersonal communication regardless of media channel. Environmental interpersonal communication was found to further positively affect environmental involvement in a powerful way, both directly and as a mediator between media exposure and environmental involvement. Eco-friendly behavior intentions was directly and positively affected by environmental involvement, and indirectly affected by environmental interpersonal communication and media exposure in all channels except radio. These research results verified the structural relationships between research variables and differences were showed between four media channels measured during online survey. This research provides a basis for future research, strategies and campaigns regarding to environmental problem-solving and behavior-shaping.

        중학생의 또래관계가 스마트폰 의존도에 미치는 영향과 사회적 위축의 매개효과 : 스마트폰의 사회적 이용에 따른 다집단 분석

        Peer relationships and smartphone dependence are two essential features for middle school students. Peer relationships can be protective factors for smartphone dependence because adolescents can choose smartphone usage activities when their need for interpersonal relationships is not fulfilled. Then, how are the effects different for positive and negative peer relationships to smartphone dependency? Are positive and negative peer relationships effects on the sub-factors of smartphone dependency different? Further, what mediates and which moderator factors differentiate the effects of peer relationships on smartphone dependencys sub-factors? This study investigated the effects of middle school students positive and negative peer relationships on smartphone dependency (tolerance and withdrawal) with the mediation of social withdrawal. We also analyzed the differences between high and low social use groups. We used the structural equation model analysis and analyzed data from 2,371 respondents in the 2018 Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey 2nd-year panel data provided by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. The result of the study indicates that middle school students positive peer relationships lowered withdrawal. Negative peer relationships tended to increase both withdrawal and tolerance. The effect size of negative peer relationships toward withdrawal was substantial. Social withdrawal was increased by negative peer relationships and decreased by positive peer relationships, but negative peer relationships had a stronger effect on social withdrawal. Social withdrawal experienced by middle school students increased both withdrawal and tolerance sub-factors of smartphone dependence, but social withdrawal influenced tolerance relatively more. Multi-group analysis showed that positive peer relationships on the withdrawal of smartphone dependence were significant only in the group with a high level of social use. The effects of negative peer relationships on social withdrawal and smartphone dependence withdrawal were stronger in the group with a low level of social use. In the group with a high level of social use, the influence of positive peer relationships strengthened toward the sub-factors of smartphone dependence, while that of negative peer relationships was alleviated. Social withdrawal is a mediating factor between peer relationships and tolerance regardless of positive and negative peer relationships or a level of social use. However, social withdrawal is consistently a mediator between peer relationships and tolerance because social withdrawal does not affect the withdrawal of smartphone dependency in a low level of social use group. The results of this study suggest two strategies for media literacy programs for adolescents. First, it is necessary to encourage positive interaction and peer relationship experiences using smartphones in media literacy programs. Second, forced social use to decrease smartphone dependency may cause unintended adverse effects on adolescents who experience social withdrawal.
