        문화적으로 적합한 교수법의 관점을 통해 본 초등 다문화교육의 한계와 개선 방안

        본 연구의 목적은 Ladson-Billings가 제안하고 있는 ``문화적으로 적합한 교수법 (Culturally Relevant Pedagogy)``을 중심으로 초등 다문화 학생들의 학교생활을 분석하고, 이들의 학업 성취를 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 경기지역의 비영리복지단체 1곳, 서울과 경기 지역에서 다문화교육 거점학교로 지정된 초등학교 각 1곳에서 수집된 질적 자료를 활용하고 있다. 연구 결과 다문화 학생들에 대한 교사들의 낮은 기대, 일반 학급에서의 정서적 긴장과 스트레스, 실질적인 도움을 주지 못하는 다문화 특별 프로그램, 교사들의 문화적 이해와 대처 기술의 부족 등이 다문화 학생들의 학업 성취를 어렵게 만들고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 다문화 학생들의 성공적인 학교생활을 위해서는 이들에 대한 교사들의 인식 전환과 더불어 좀 더 개별화된 지원 방안 마련, 주류 학생들의 다문화적 이해와 포용력을 기르기 위한 노력 등이 필요하다는 점을 제안하고 있다. The primary purpose of this study is to examine multicultural education in Korean elementary schools through the lens of ``Culturally Relevant Pedagogy,`` which was proposed and developed by Gloria Ladson-Billings. To achieve this goal, this study makes use of qualitative data collected from a non-governmental preschool and two elementary schools in Kyong-Gi and Seoul. Major findings show that there are substantial obstacles in schools which prevent racial minority students`` academic achievement including teachers`` lowered expectations and cultural ignorance. It also turned out that special assisting programs devised to help minority students do not bear intended fruits in reality. Based on these findings, this study suggests that Korean teachers need to enhance their cultural understandings along with efforts to provide relevant learning opportunities to racial minority students. It also suggests that policy-makers need to develop more diversified and customized assisting programs because there is a wide variance among racial minorities in terms of language skill, ethnic and religious backgrounds, and academic skills.

        미래지향적 학교 교육과정 개발을 위한 IB PYP의 적용 가능성 탐색

        본 연구는 미래지향적 학교 교육과정 개발을 위한 하나의 프레임웍으로써 International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme(IB PYP)의 특징과 의의를 탐색하고, 실제 학교 교육과정 개선에 적용해 봄으로써 그 활용 가능성을 타진해 보는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 미래교육의 방향과 관련한 선행연구들을 분석하여 미래형 학교 교육과정 운영 체제를 탐색하였고, 교육과정의 의사결정 권한과 교육의 목표, 내용, 방법, 평가, 환경의 여섯 가지 측면에서 IB PYP와의 접점을 찾음으로써 미래교육의 방향과 IB PYP의 연계성을 규명하였다. 나아가 실제 초등학교의 학교 교육과정 사례를 중심으로 IB PYP의 관점에서의 개선 방향과 학교 교육과정의 질 제고 방안을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 우리나라 학교 교육과정 개발에 IB PYP의 방향을 적용함으로써 단위학교 학교 교육과정을 개선·확장할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다. 이러한 절충적 시도는 양질의 학교 교육과정 개발 및 개선을 통한 교육의 질 관리라는 본질적 목적에 상응하는 시도라는 점에서 의의를 지닌다. The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics and significance of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) as a framework for future-oriented school curriculum development and identify its utilization by applying it to actual school curriculum improvement. To this end, prior studies related to the direction of future education were analyzed to figure out the future-oriented curriculum operating system. Also, the connectivity between future education directions and IB PYP was identified by finding an interface with IB PYP in six aspects of decision-making powers in the curriculum and educational objective, content, method, evaluation, and environment. Furthermore, the directions of improving the quality of the school curriculum from the perspective of IB PYP were derived from the actual case of the elementary school curriculum. As a result of the research, we identified the possibility of improving and expanding the school curriculum by applying the directions of IB PYP to the development of school curriculum. This attempt is meaningful in that it corresponds to the critical purpose of managing the quality of school education through the school curriculum development.

      • 논문 : 1950년대 미국 원조 기관의 대한(對韓)기술원조훈련계획 연구

        This thesis tries to examine the purpose of the introduction of Technical Assistance Training Program to Korea, which was performed by U.S. Agency, and how it affected on Korean society of 1950s. Since this Program was designed for the U.S. aid of higher education in Korea, this thesis is going to focus on how educational aid policy of U.S. developed in Korea. Additionally, I studied the effects of this program in 1950s Korea, by analyzing the activities that the participants have shown after their training. Right after the independence of Korea from Japan, U.S.`s aid of education mostly aimed at making Koreans to experience ``American Democracy.`` With Educational Exchange Program, the Department of State provided several leaders of Korea with the chance to witness the ideological foundation and the American way of life. However, as it was believed that the higher educational standards could raise the efficiency of U.S. economic aid, the education of the technique seemed to be the crucial matter after 6·25 War; ``technique`` means the ability to decide and estimate the policies, as well as the skill to operate some machines. Technical Assistance Training Program was introduced in order to educate the middle-level-talented Koreans of various fields like agriculture, industry, health, public administration and local community development. U.S. Aid Agency helped them to study the latest knowledge and technique in abroad, mostly America. In the short run, the participants were expected to help the agency to enhance the efficiency of economic aid; in long view, they would be raised as the elite group for economic development of Korea. From 1954 to 1960, the total number of participants of this program was about 1700, and U.S. covered all the needed expenses. However, the new Korean leaders could not directly practice the so-called ``new ideas`` which they learned in this program to their own fields, because the important legislators were too accustomed to Japanese-style education and administration system to accept the reformation. For this reason, the participants of the program just contributed to help Koreans to get used to American culture more easily, by giving public lectures or trip-accounts. It was not until the late 1950s or early 1960s that the elites started to form their own group so that the practical results of the program emerged in Korea. One of the participants, the Professors who visited U.S. with the aid of the contract with Peabody University and Minnesota University, returned to Korea and formed new schools that leaded the academic; Education and Public Administration. In addition, as the economic development was the primal concern, Korean-American Technical Cooperation Organization was built, including all the participants of this program, in which both Korean government and U.S. Aid Agency had great interest. Regarding themselves as pro-U.S. elite group that could lead the economic development, the members of this organization began to give some practical influence on Korean society.

        유치원 교사의 유아인권인식 행동이 유아문제행동 대처전략에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 유치원 교사의 유아인권인식 행동이 유아문제행동 대처전략에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써 유치원 교사의 유아인권인식 행동의 중요성을 고찰하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기 및 인천지역 유치원에 근무하는 교사 167명이었으며 2017년 7월 31일부터 8월 11일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유치원 교사의 배경변인에 따라 유아문제행동 대처전략과 유아인권인식 행동에 차이를 보였다. 유치원 교사의 연령, 학력, 급여가 높을수록 유아인권인식 행동 점수가 높았으며, 학력과 급여가 높을수록 긍정적 예방 대처전략(환경 재배치, 명확한 일과계획)을 사용하였다. 둘째, 유치원 교사의 유아문제행동 대처전략 중에서 긍정적인 대처전략(예방 및 반응전략)은 유아인권인식 행동과 높은 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 셋째, 유아인권인식 행동은 유치원 교사의 긍정적 대처전략(예방 및 반응전략)에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 추후 유치원 교사를 대상으로 하는 유아문제행동 지도방안 교육 및 연수에 대한 시시점을 제공하였다. The purpose of this study is to understand the importance of kindergarden teachers’ behavior about awareness of children’s rights by examining the effects of kindergarten teachers’ behavior about awareness of children’s rights on the coping strategy for children’s problem behavior. A total of 167 teachers working at kindergartens in Gyenggi and Incheon areas participated in the survey from July 31<SUP>st</SUP> to August 11<SUP>th</SUP>, 2017. The result of the study is as following; First, there are differences in behavior about awareness of children’s rights and coping strategy for children’s problem behavior depending on the background of kindergarten teachers. The higher the age, the level of education and the salary of kindergarten teachers, the higher the behavior about awareness of children’s rights, and the higher level of education and salary resulted in the use of positive preventive coping strategy(environmental rearrangement, definite daily schedule). Second, among the coping strategy for children’s problem behavior, there was a high correlation between the positive coping strategy(positive preventive and responsive strategy) and behavior about awareness of children’s rights. Third, the behavior about awareness of children’s rights affected the positive coping strategy(positive preventive and responsive strategy). The result of this study provides suggestions for the education and training on the coping methods for children’s problem behavior for the kindergarten teachers in the future.

        Oxytocin에 의한 내수질집합관의 cAMP 생성 및 요배설의 변화

        N/A Oxytocin, like vasopressin, has been known to act in the IMCD by the activation of adenylyl cyclase through V2 receptor, but the exact mechanism of its action remains to be elucidated. To prove whether oxytocin is involved in the activation of adenylyl cyclase in the renal collecting duct, we measured the cAMP production and urinary cAMP excretion rate. After single IMCD segments of Sprague-Dawley rats were microdissected and treated with different con- centrations of vasopressin(10pM, 10nM) and oxytocin (10pM, 10nM), cAMP production was measured. Urinary cAMP excretion rate was measured after dehydration and intraperitoneal injection of vasopressin and oxytocin. The results are as follows. 1) cAMP production in single IMCD was significantly increased in vasopressin group(10pM: 48,9±4.7(mean±SE), 10nM:94.6±5.3fmol/mm) and oxy-tocin group(10pM: 11.3±2.9, 10nM: 65.7±6.1fmol/mm) compared with that in the control(3.2±0.2fmol/ mm). 2) Urine volume was significantly decreased in dehydration group(40±7μl/hour) and vasopressin group(420±120μl/hour), but urine volume of oxytocin group(1,480±230μl/hour) was not different from that of control(1,550±120μl/hour). Urine osmolality was significantly increased in all experimental groups(control: 737.0±132.6, dehydration group : 2,463.9± 412.5, vasopressin group : 1,702±412.5, oxytocin group 1,293.4±117.9mOsm/kg). Urinary cAMP excretion rate was significantly increased in dehydration group(4,149.5±1,072.3pmol/hour) and oxytocin group(4,843.3±2,341.8pmol/hour), but not in vasopressin group(1,358.1±690.2pmol/hour), compared with that in control(49±10.7pmoVhour). These results suggest that oxytacin has anti-diuretic effect by the activation of adenylyl cyclase through V2 receptor.

        만성신부전에서 염류코르티코이드 투여가 포타시움 평형과 요 암모늄 배설에 미치는 효과

        N/A Mineralocorticoids influences on acid-base homeo-stasis by the regulation of urine acidification. But its mechanism of acion is not well known in human. This study compared the acid-base status and the indices of urine acidification before and after mineralocorticoid administration in human, and analyzed the effect of mineralocorticoids on human acid-base homeostasis. We administered 9a-fludrocortisone in 6 chronic renal failure patients and 6 normal controls 0.5mg daily for 7 days. The results were as following ' 1) After administration of 9a-fludrocortisone in patients group, serum aldosterone level changed from 120.2±71.0pg/mL to 44.8±32.2pg/mL(mean±SD, p< 0.05). Serum HCO- level was not changed. Urine ammonium excretion was incresed from 24.6±12.3 mmol/day to 43.7±19.0(p<0.05), but there were no change in urine pH and urine anion gap, Serum potassium level decreased from 5.5±0.7mBq/L to 4.1±0.5mEq/L(p<0.05), and TTKG increased from 3.9 to 8.9(p<0.05). 2) After administration of 9a-fludrocortisone in control group, serum aldosterone level changed from 99.7±44.5pg/mL to 25.1±3 mL(p<0.05). Serum HCO- level was not changed. Urine ammonium ex-cretion was incresed from 44.3±21.6mmoVday to 76.3±19.6(p<0.05), but there were no change in urine pH and urine anion gap. Serum potassium level decreased from 4.8±0.5mEq/L to 3.9±0.2mHq/L(p< 0.05), but there was no change in TTKG. 3) No patient or control showed any discomfort after 9-fludrocortisoneadministration, and there was no elevation in diastolic blood pressure, increase in body weight, electrolyte abnormality. In summary, after 9α-fludrocortisane administration, urinary ammonium excretion increased in both patients and control group, and this phenomenon occured with correction of hyperkalemia without urine pH change. This result implies urinary ammonium excretion increase by mineralocorticoid. In human increase in renal distal acidification by mineralocorticoid is due to increase in renal ammo- niagenesis rather than stimulation on proton excretion.
