        메조기공 세라믹 소재의 형성과 특성 분석

        Ordered mesoporous oxide films have been focused because of their low density, high interior specific surface area, and high thermal insulation. Specially, the ordered mesoporous oxide films prepared by self-assembly has many advantages due to easy process and high reproducibility. In this work, ordered mesoporous $SiO_2$, $Al_2O_3$, and $TiO_2$ films were synthesized by control of composition and processing parameter. Also, their structural, thermal, and mechanical properties were characterized variously. In conclusion, ordered mesoporous oxides will be one of core materials in new technology due to their excellent and unique properties.

      • 쑥갓의 꽃에서 분리한 sesquiterpene lactones의 항균활성

        Thirteen sesquiterpene lactones isolated from the flower of Chrysanthemum coronarium L., which has been widely cultivated in Korea as a vegetable for a long time, were investigated their antimicrobial activities against eight bacteria and five phytopathogenic fungi. The antimicrobial activities of dihydrochrysanolide (6) and 1-epi-dihydrochrysanolide (7) showed strong activities against all the bacteria such as Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio parahaemolyticus. Especially, Staphylococcus aureus was investigated that have very strong antibacterial activity to $1.56\;{\mu}g{\cdot}disc^{-1}$, respectively. Also, most of sesquiterpene lactones, which have ${\alpha}-methylene-{\gamma}-butyrolactone$ group, were exhibited strong activity to Gram(+) bacteria than Gram(-) bacteria. In the antifungal test, Rhizoctonia solani and Phytophthora capsici known as phytopathogenic fungi have exhibited all extensive activity about compounds that have ${\alpha}-methylene-{\gamma}-butyrolactone$ group. 쑥갓(Chrysanthemum coronapium L.)의 꽃에서 분리한 13개의 sesequiterpene lactone들에 대한 생리활성 실험의 일환으로, 세균 8종과 곰팡이 5종을 이용하여 항미생물 활성을 검토하였다. 그 결과, 항세균 실험에서 Gram 양성균인 Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus 균들과 Gram 음성균인 Vibrio parahaemolyticus균이 쑥갓에서 분리된 13종의 화합물들에 대하여 광범위한 활성을 나타내었으며, 이들 중에 dihydrochrysanolide 유도체가 Staphylococcus aureus균에서 $3.1\;{\mu}g{\cdot}disc^{-1}$이하의 강한 항세균 활성을 보였다. 항진균 실험에서는 ${\alpha}-methylene-{\gamma}-butyrolactone$ group을 가진 화합물들이 Rhizoctonia solani와 Phytophthora capsici에 대해 강한 항진균 활성이 조사되었다.

        저유전물질로의 응용을 휘한 규칙성 메조포러스 실리카 박막에의 HMDS 처리

        In order to reduce signal delay in ULSI, an intermetal material of low dielectric constant is required. Ordered mesoporous silica film is proper to intermetal dielectric due to its low dielectric constant and superior mechanical properties. The ordered mesoporous silica film prepared by TEOS (tetraethoxysilane) / MTES (methyltriethoxysilane) mixed silica precursor and Brij-76 surfactant was surface-modified by HMDS (hexamethyldisilazane) treatment to reduce its dielectric constant. HMDS can substitute $-Si(CH_3)_3$ groups for -OH groups on the surface of silica wall. In order to modify interior silica wall, HMDS was treated by two different processes except the conventional spin coating. One process is that film is dipped and stirred in HMDS/n-hexane solution, and the other process is that film is exposed to evaporated HMDS. Through the investigation with different HMDS treatment, it was concluded that surface modification in evaporated HMDS was more effective to modify interior silica wall of nano-sized pores.

        당뇨병과 폐결핵 합병례에 대한 고찰

        N/A Objectives: Diabetes mellitus was known to cause a variety of complications, and was highly sensitive to the infections. Based on this fact, the studies which suggested the relationship between diabetes and pulmonary tuberculosis have been reported for a long time. With some exceptions, the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis was significantly higher in diabetic patients compared with non-diabetics and, especially, occurrence of tuberculosis in the lower lung field was strongly emphasized in diabetic patients. Author analyzed the clinical characteristics of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes mellitus and control group who were pulmonary tuberculosis without diabetes. Methods: The medical records of 582 patients who admitted with diabetes mellitus at Pusan National University Hospital from January 1, 1993 to July 30, 1994 were reviewed. Among them, 50 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes were investigated. As a control groups, 50 nondiabetic patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who were admitted to this hospital during the same period and were matched according to age and sex were evaluated. In addition, to examine the relationship between patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes and control group, author partly used the Report on the Sixth tuberculosis Prevalence Survey as a another control group. Lower lung field tuberculosis was defined as tuberculosis involving the right middle lobe, left lingula segments, and one or both lower lobes without upper lobe lesions. Results: 1) Among 582 diabetic patients, 50 cases(8.6%) had pulmonary tuberculosis on chest X-ray and 40 cases(6.9%) were positive acid fast bacilli on sputum smear, it was much higher incidence compared with control group, 2.3% and 0.35% respectively. 2) Thirty six(12.5%) of 287 male and 14(4.7%) of 295 female diabetic patients had pulmonary tuberculosis, the overall sex ratio was 2.7 versus l. 3) According to the radiological classification of pulmonary tuberculosis in 50 diabetic patients, minimal tuberculosis cases were 16(32%), moderate advanced cases were 20(40%), and far advanced cases were 14(28%). The ratio of the moderate advanced and the far advanced pulmonary tuberculosis in diabetics was higher than the control group. 4) Ten of 50 patients with diabetes were noted to have only lower lung field involvement in both lung fields, however no lower lung field disease was observed in nondiabetic group. Among 10 diabetic patients with lower lung field tuberculosis, 9 cases(90%) were bacteriologically confirmed, of the 50 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes occurred in the right upper lobe with 33(66%), in the right middle lobe with 9(18%) and in the right lower lobe with 16(32%). On the other hand in the left lung, the frequency was 25(50%) in the left upper lobe, 9(18%) in the lingula segments and 13(26% in the left lower lobe. 5) The incidence of hemoptysis was higher in the patients with pulmonary, tuberculosis complicated diabetes(28%, 14 of 50) than in the control group(12%, 6 of 50)(p<0.05). Conclusion: By the above results, it could be concluded that the diabetic patients had much more incidence of prevalence, hemoptysis and moderated and far advanced pulmonary tuberculosis compared with controul group, and had a high possibillity of pulmonary tuberculosis in the lower lung field.

        RF 스퍼터링을 이용하여 저온에서 SiO<sub>2</sub>/Si 기판 위에 증착된 La<sub>0.7</sub>Sr<sub>0.3</sub>MnO<sub>3</sub> 박막의 구조 및 전기적 특성

        The $La_{0.7}Sr_{0.3}MnO_3$ was deposited on $SiO_2/Si$ substrate by RF magnetron sputtering. The oxygen gas flow rate was changed from 0 to 80 sccm and the substrate temperature was $350^{\circ}C$. The oxygen gas flow rate was changed to control the growth orientation and crystalline state of the film. Relatively high TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) value (-2.33%/K) was obtained when comparing with the reported values of the films prepared by using high substrate anneal temperature. The decrease in the sheet resistance and TCR value were observed when grain size of the film increased with the increase of oxygen gas flow rate.

        기계수확 적응 소립 나물용 콩 ‘해품’

        ‘Haepum’ is a soybean cultivar for soy sprouts. ‘Bosug’ and ‘Suwon 214’ were crossed in 2001, and promised lines were selected from F3 to F5 using the pedigree method (Pedigree: HS1273-2B-4-1-2-3-3). Preliminary yield (PYT) and advanced yield (AYT) trials were conducted from 2008 to 2009, and regional yield trials (RYT) in four regions (Suwon, Naju, Miryang, Jeju) were conducted from 2010 to 2012. In RYT, ‘Haepum’ had higher plant height and first pod height than other cultivars, which are desirable characteristics for mechanized harvest. Morphological characteristics of ‘Haepum’ are as follows: determinate, white flowers, grey pubescence, yellow pods, yellow spherical small seeds (10.4 g/100 seeds), and light brown hilum. The flowering and maturity dates were July 29 and October 6, respectively. Plant height was 61 cm, 6 cm longer than that of ‘Pungsannamulkong’ (standard cultivar). Moreover, the first pod height of ‘Haepum’ was 15 cm, 6 cm longer than that of ‘Pungsannamulkong’. The lodging tolerance was also stronger (1) than that of ‘Pungsannamulkong’ (6). The germination rate, total length, hypocotyl length, thickness, and sprout yield of ‘Haepum’ soybean sprouts were 99%, 20.6 cm, 9.7 cm, 2.1 mm, and 453%, respectively. The yield in adaptable regions was 301 kg/10 a, which was 10% higher than that of ‘Pungsannamulkong’. ‘Haepum’ could be broadly used for soybean sprout culture and an adequate cultivar for conversion to jeju and mechanized harvesting.

        고분자전해질형 연료전지의 구조 및 구성품의 물성에 따른 성능 및 물이동 현상에 관해서 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다, 이들 연구는 대체적으로 연료 전지의 BOP(Balance of plant)를 포함하는 연료전지 시스템에 관한 연구 보다는 단위 전지 및 스택에 관한 연구에 국한되어 왔다. 연료전지의 시스템에 관한 연구들 또한 세부적인 연료전지 내부의 거동에 대해서는 고려하지 않고 있었다. 이는 연료전지의 상세 모델을 이용해 연료전지 시스템에 대해 접근하기 보다는 시스템의 성능 및 동특성에 대한 연구가 주를 이루었기 때문으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서는 연료전지 음극의 수소 배출가스를 재순환할 경우 연료전지 내부에서의 거동에 미치는 영향에 대해 2차원 정상상태 모델을 이용하여 분석해 보았다. 또한 재순환된 수소에 의한 연료전지 내부 거동의 변화 및 수소 이용율 상승 효과를 연료 전지 성능과 함께 비교해 보았다 이를 위해 2차원 정상상태 모델을 개발하였고 이를 실험을 통해 검증하는 작업을 수행하였다. 여기에 사용된 연료전지 모델은 Gore社 의 PRIMea^{(R)}을 사용한 연료전지의 성능을 잘 예측하고 내부의 유동 및 물이동 현상에 관한 정보를 제공한다. 이는 여러 하이브리드 자동차용 연료전지 시스템이 연료전지 배출가스의 재순환을 고려하고 있는 상황에서 연료전지 작동 조건의 최적화에 유용한 정보를 제공 할 수 있다는 의의를 가진다.

        db/db 마우스 동물모델에서 Vigna nakashimae 클로로포름층 분획물의 항당뇨 효능

        최근 식생활의 변화에 따라 당뇨병, 비만 등의 만성대사질환의 발병률이 증가함에 따라 예방과 치료를 위한 물질연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선행 연구에서 항당뇨 효능이 확인된 Vigna nakashimae (VN) 메탄올 추출물로부터 VN 클로로포름층 분획물과 물층 분획물을 얻어 각 분획물의 항당뇨 효능과 분자적 기전을 살펴보았다. 각각의 VN 분획물을 제 2형 당뇨병질환모델인 db/db 마우스에 경구투여하여 VN 분획물의 혈당 및 지질 대사 변화 등을 측정하였다. VN 클로로포름층 분획물은 공복 혈당과 당화혈색소를 물층 분획물보다 더 효과적으로 감소시켰다. 또한 내당능도 개선하였으며, 혈중 지방산과 중성지방도 감소시켰다. VN 클로로포름층 분획물은 HepG2와 C2C12세포에서 인산화된 AMPK와 AMPK 하위 유전자인 CPT-1의 유전자 발현을 증가시켰다. VN 클로로포름층 분획물은 AMPK의 활성화와 일치하게 HepG2에서 당 생성 효소인 PEPCK와 G-6Pase의 발현을 감소시켰으며, C2C12에서는 당 유입을 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과는 VN 클로로포름층 분획물은 AMPK의 활성화를 통해 공복혈당을 감소시켰으며, 이러한 효과는 물층 분획물보다 더 효과적이었다. In this study, we evaluated the antidiabetic effect of a chloroform fraction of a methanol extract of Vigna nakashimae (designated VN) and compared it with that of a water fraction. Both fractions were administrated to eight-week old db/db mice for two weeks, after which the plasma glucose, triglyceride, and total cholesterol levels were measured. The chloroform fraction (VN-C) lowered the fasting glucose and blood glycated hemoglobin in the db/db mice more effectively than those of the water fraction (VN-W). VN-C also improved the glucose tolerance and led to a significant decrease in the plasma levels of free fatty acids and triglycerides. VN-C enhanced the phosphorylation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and increased the expression of carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1 (CPT-1) in HepG2 and C2C12 cells more significantly than VN-W. Consistent with AMPK activation, VN-C inhibited cAMP/Dex-stimulated expression of gluconeogenic genes and increased glucose uptake in C2C12. Collectively, these results suggest that VN-C has an antidiabetic effect, which is exerted via AMPK activation, and that this effect is stronger than that of VN-W.

      • 직접 메탄올 연료전지를 이용한 휴머노이드 로봇의 전원시스템 개발

        전극 전해질 복합체가 하나로 구성된 단위전지는 전기출력이 낮아 원하는 전기출력을 얻기 위하여 단위전지를 여러 장 직렬로 쌓아 스택을 구성하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 400W급 직접메탄을 연료전지 스택을 제조하여, 운전 조건의 최적화를 위한 실험을 수행하였고, 한국형 휴머노이드 로봇인 Hubo에 적용하여 그 동특성을 평가하였다. 0.8M 메탄을 용액은 260 ml/min의 유량을, 공기는 42LPM을 스택에 주입하여 400W의 성능을 나타내었다. 연료전지 스택의 온도와 전압의 편차는 작았으며 정상 운전시스템의 온도는 약 70?C를 유지하였다. 로봇의 필요 전력이 높을 경우, 배터리와 연료전지가 동시에 부하 변동에 대응하였다 방전된 배터리는 로봇의 필요 전력이 낮아질 경우, 충전되어 이후의 방전 상황에 대비하였다. 연료전지 시스템 적용 결과 로봇의 성공적인 운전을 확인할 수 있었다.
