        심폐소생술에 대한 병원 간호사의 지식 및 수행능력에 관한 연구

        Purpose: This study was done to identify the level of knowledge and competence of nurses with regard to cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods: The participants were 360 nurses who worked in 3 general hospitals affiliated with universities in K-province. The study was done in May and June, 2005. Analysis was done using SPSS 12.0 and descriptive statistics, t test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that nurses’knowledge and competence levels vary. Mean scores for knowledge were 19.64. Using a score of 1, the mean was 0.65. Mean scores for competence were 96.29. Using a score of 5, the mean was 3.57. Correlation between total knowledge and total competence was r=.49 (p=.00). Conclusion: Lack of knowledge and low competence in nurses should be addressed in cardiopulmonary resuscitation education programs. For more effective education, the type of education should not be limited to lectures only, but should include both lectures and practice. As knowledge and competence were affected by work experience, it is important to provide nurses not only with knowledge but with work experience to increase levels of knowledge and competence in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

        시뮬레이션을 활용한 호흡곤란 응급관리 실습이 간호학생의 학습 성과에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the learning outcomes of simulation-based practice on emergency care for patients with dyspnea in nursing students. Methods: One group pre-post experimental design with 28 nursing students was used. Simulation-based practice on the basis of SimMan Human Patient Simulator including academic lectures, simulation lab exercises and debriefing was applied for four and half hours. The learning outcomes were assessed by measuring knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving process of cognitive skills, self-confidence and learning attitudes of affective domain. Furthermore, self reported clinical performance ability of psychomotor skills was examined. Results: After the completion of simulation-based practice, there was a significant increase in the mean of following measured variables: knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving process of cognitive skills, self-confidence, learning attitudes of affective domain and clinical performance ability of psychomotor skills. Significant positive relationships were found among learning outcome measurement variables. Conclusion: Simulation-based practice is an effective method to improve cognitive skills, affective domain and psychomotor skills of nursing students. Hence, Simulation-based practice should be applied for improving current limited emergency care training for nursing students and enhancing students' competency in clinical situations.

      • 여성의 정치성향이 정치관심 및 정치신뢰, 정치효능감, 정치사회화에 미치는 영향 : 충남 서산·홍성에 거주는 중년층 여성을 중심으로

        이 연구는 충청남도 서산, 홍성에 거주하는 중년층 여성들의 보수, 중도, 진보성향에 따른 정치관심, 정치신뢰 및 정치효능감과 정치사회화를 알아보는 것이다. 대부분 정치성향 요인에 따른 정치성향별 집단 간 차이는 유의미하게 나타났다. 정치인에 대해서 부정적 평가를 하고 있고, 이 결과는 정치성향을 초월하는 태도나 평가로 보인다. 또 정치의 일반적인 관심과 다른 요인과의 관련성이 높았다. 여성이 나라의 지도자가 되는 것에 대해 긍정적일수록, 현재 여성이 정치영역에서 소외된다고 인식하지만, ‘18대 박근혜 대통령 탄핵’이 직접적 요인은 아니라고 판단하였다. 회귀분석 결과 정치관심과 정치신뢰, 정치효능감에 부분적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 구체적으로 정치관심 2(정당 및 정치인에 대한 직접적 관심_담화 및 TV 연설 시청, 투표 참여 및 참여의사 등), 또 정치신뢰 2(현 정부의 행정 및 국민의견 수용에 대한 신뢰 항목), 정치효능감은 정치에 대한 일반적 효능감인 정치효능감 1(정치에 대한 개인의 영향력과 투표 결과에 대한 효능)에 유의미한 영향이 있었다. This study examines the political interest, political trust, political efficacy, and political socialization of middle-aged women living in Seosan and Hongseong in Chungcheongnam-do province. As a result of Research Question 1, the differences among the groups according to political tendency are significant. Factors without a significant difference are negative evaluations of politicians. These results are attitudes and evaluations that transcend political tendencies. In addition, participation in election campaigns was not directly related to the political tendency in the factor of political socialization, because women had little experience participating in the election. In the analysis of the Research Question 2, the general interest of politics is related to other factors. The more positive the woman is to become a leader, the more women are alienated from the political sphere. However, the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye is not a direct factor. The results of regression analysis are partially relevant to political interest, political trust, and political efficacy. In particular, political interest 2(direct interest in political parties and politicians, watching TV speeches, voting participation and participating intention), political trust 2(trust in administrative and public opinion acceptance of the current government) There is a significant effect on efficacy 1(individual influence on politics and efficacy on voting results).

        간호대학생의 저혈당 응급관리 시뮬레이션 실습 수행 평가를 위한 임상판단 루브릭 적용

        Purpose: To evaluate the applicability of Lasater Clinical Judgment Rubric (LCJR) as an evaluation tool for hypoglycemia simulation practicum on Korean nursing students. Methods: The methodological study was done to evaluate the reliability and validity of the LCJR. Based on Benner's 4 levels of nursing grading rubric, ten items of the LCJR was evaluated for interrater reliability and internal consistency. The content validity was tested by eight experts and concurrent validity was done by Clark (2006)'s clinical simulation grading rubric. Fifty five video-taped cases of senior nursing students in Y University were used for the reliability and concurrent validity of the LCJR. Results: The interrater reliability was r=.90 (p<.001); Kendall tau b=.87 (p <.001), and Cronbach's alpha was .90. A value of item content validity index of the LCJR was .97 and correlation coefficient between the LCJR and Clark's instrument was .90 (p<.001). The mean (${\pm}SD$) of the nursing students' clinical judgment was 2.04 (${\pm}50$). Conclusion: The LCJR is a useful tool to examine the simulation performance evaluation for improving competency among nursing students. The results indicated that the LCJR may provide valuable information regarding clinical judgment of nursing students and thus, suggested to use to develop a simulation-based education program.

        간호학생을 위한 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 실습 교과목 개발 및 적합성 평가

        Purpose: This study was to evaluate the applicability of an emergent care management simulation practicum which is for enhancing nursing students emergent care management competency based on the Nursing Education Simulation Model. Methods: One group pre-post experimental design was conducted for evaluation of the applicability of the simulation practicum. A convenient sample of 60 senior nursing students was participated. The simulation practicum was provided for 26 hours per student at the end of the first semester of senior year. Educational practices in simulation scale, simulation design scale and learning outcomes were measured. Higher positive correlations between variables represent applicability. Descriptive analysis, paired t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analyses. Results: Among contractual components of nursing education simulation model, educational practices in simulation and simulation design (r=.80, p<.010), learning outcomes (r=.71-.28, p<.050), simulation design and learning outcomes (r=.72-.30, p<.050) were significantly correlated. Critical thinking (t=-3.63, p<.050) and problem solving competence (t=-2.55, p<.050) were significantly increased by this simulation practicum. It represents the applicability of an emergent care management simulation practicum. Conclusion: This emergent care management simulation practicum was appropriate to enhance the nursing students’ emergent care management coping competency.

        간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형에 따른 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과

        본 연구는 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형에 따른 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 확인하고자 실시된 단일군 사전-사후 유사실험 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 4년제 간호대학에 재학 중인 58명의 학생이었으며, 연구는 2013년 6월 24일부터 7월 12일까지 실시되었다. 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형과 교육효과(비판적 사고성향,문제해결과정, 협력, 실습만족도, 자신감)를 조사하였으며, 서술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U 검정, Kruskal-Wallis를 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 간호대학 4학년 학생의 학습유형은 수렴자 46.6%, 융합자 34.5%, 적응자 15.5%, 분산자 3.4%이었다. 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 교육은 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결과정, 협력, 자신감에 유의한 향상을 보였으나, 학습유형에 따른 교육효과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이를 기초로 학습유형과 시뮬레이션 교육효과 간의 관계에 대한 재고찰을 통해 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과를 극대화시킬 수 있는 방안의 모색이 필요할 것이다. This is a quasi-experimental study involving one group design with pretest and posttest for evaluation of an effectiveness of an emergent care management simulation education among senior nursing students according to their learning styles. Participants were 58 senior nursing students. Learning style and educational effectiveness (critical thinking disposition, problem solving process, cooperation, satisfaction with learning, and self-confidence) were measured. Learning styles of senior nursing students were converger 46.6%, assimilator 34.5%, accommodator 15.5%, and diverger 3.4%. Critical thinking disposition, problem solving process, cooperation, and self-confidence were significantly enhanced by an emergent care management simulation education. Otherwise, educational effectiveness according to learning styles were not significantly different. Based on the results, devising stratagem to maximize an educational effectiveness will be needed trough re-evaluation of relationship between learning styles and effectiveness of a simulation education.

      • 항방사선 인삼분획의 butanol 추출물과 수용성 성분이 세포 생존율에 미치는 영향

        인삼에서 방사선 방어작용이 있는 분획을 분리, 정제하여 자외선에 의해 손상된 세포의 생존율에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 그 결과, 이 분획이 세포독성을 나타내지 않는 용량범위내에서 손상된 세포의 생존율을 현저히 증가시킴을 발견하였다. 또한 이 분획에 butanol을 가하여 침전하는 단백성분과 추출되는 가용성분을 분리한 후, 각각을 손상된 세포에 처리한 결과, 단백성분은 생존율을 증가시키는 반면, butanol 추출물은 생존율을 증가시키지 못하고 대조군과 같은 수준을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로부터 인삼에서 나타나는 방사선 방어작용은 butanol에 의해 침전되는 단백성분에 기인하는 것이며, butanol 추출물에 기인하는 것이 아님을 확인하였다. Radiation protective fraction was isolated and partially purified from Korean white ginseng. The effect of the fraction was studied on the cell survival of UV-damaged CHO-KI cells. AS a result, it was found that the fraction increased the survival rate of damaged cells significantly within the dose range of which cytotoxicity did not appear. This fraction was separated into two parts by adding butanol, namely the precipitated protein component and the butanol extract. Damaged cells were treated with each of these components and their survival rates were measured. The protein component demonstrated significant increase in the survival rates, while the butanol extract showed no such increment. These results suggest that the radiation protective effect of the ginseng fraction is originated from the butanol-precipitated protein component, not from the butanol-soluble compounds.
