본 연구는 타인을 이해하는 능력과 관련된 사회인지적 변인인 유아의 마음이론이 자아존중감과 조망수용능력과 어떻게 관련되어 있는지 유아 성별에 따라 탐색해보고자 하였다. B시의 D와 S사립유치원 만 5세 유아 111명을 대상으로 개별 면접을 통해 마음이론, 자아존중감, 조망수용능력 검사를 실시하고 상관관계 분석 및 단순회귀분석을 통해 그 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 유아의 마음이론과 자아존중감의 관계는 의미 있는 정적 예측관계를 보였다. 성별로는 남아의 마음이론과 자아존중감은 전체 영역에서만 의의 있는 예측관계가 있었고, 여아는 전체뿐만 아니라 자아존중감 하위 영역에서도 의의 있는 예측관계가 있었다. 둘째, 유아의 마음이론과 조망수용능력은 다소 높은 상관관계가 있었으며, 조망수용능력 모든 하위 영역에 있어 의미 있는 정적 예측관계를 보였다. 성별로는 남아, 여아 모두 마음이론과 조망수용능력과의 관계에서 의미 있는 정적 예측관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated how young children`s theory of mind that was the social-cognitive variable related to the ability to comprehend others made relationship with their self-esteem and perspective-taking ability according to gender. Subjects were one hundred and eleven five-year-old children at two private kindergartens in B city. Data was obtained through interviews asking theory of mind, self-esteem, and perspective-taking ability to each child. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson`s corelation analysis and regression analysis. The result of this study were as follows: First there was significant positive relationship between young children`s theory of mind and their self-esteem. In terms of the gender, boy`s theory of mind related significantly to their self-esteem only in the whole areas while girl`s theory of mind related significantly to their self-esteem in the subcategories of self-esteem as well as the whole areas. Second, there was a related high correlation between children`s theory of mind and their perspective-taking ability, furthermore, all of the sub-areas of their perspective-taking ability demonstrate significant positive relationship. As regards the gender, there was significant positive relationship between the boys` and girls` theory of mind and their perspective-taking ability.

천연 킬레이트 고분자 Chitosan의 식품 공업에의 활용에 관한 연구

In order to investigate the adsorption capacity of chitosan to the heavy metallic ions, Pb++ ion 1 ppm, Cd++ ion 1 ppm and Zn++ ion 10 ppm solutions were prepared respectively by dissolving the corresponding metallic salts to the distilled water, and it was found that more than 90% of those ions were adsorbed to chitosan at pH range 3-7. In the column method also chitosan showed good adsorptivity to the above metallic ions and found that 1g of chitosan had the adsorption capacity as high as 450 liters of 0.01 ppm of the ion solutions. In the experiment for the use of chitosan as a protein coagulant, it showed th best coagulating ability at pH 5 when chitosan was added to teh dilute colloidal solution of fish food varying the pH values.

After amplification of isopenicillin N synthetase (IPNS) gene from streptomyces clavuligerus chromosomal DNA by polymerase chain reaction, it was cloned into pUC18 vector of Escherichia coli. Three positive clones among 21 white colonies of E. coli DH5a transformants were identified to have the right orientation of IPNS gene. Throughout the analysis of enzyme activity in cell-free extracts, one of three positive clones was revealed to have an activity of isopenicillin N synthesis from bis(-L-α-aminoadipyl) -Lcysteinyl-D-valine. When inducing the gene with isopropyl -β -D -thiogalactopyranoside, the cloned IPNS gene was well expressed in E. coli JM109, as confirmed by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The Southern analysis showed that the cloned gene was originated from S. clavuligerus.

경골 횡고정나사 골수강내 금속정 제거중에 발생하는 경골 후벽골절의 예방

Purpose: Sometimes we experience refracture of tibia during removal of ILMN after complete union of fracture. We evaluated surgical technique in order to know how we can avoid the fracture of posterior cortex of tibia during removal of ILMN. Material and Methods: From Jan. 1993 to Dec. 1999, we removed 86 cases of ILMN used for tibia fracture. Among them, 40 cases of Ace titanium ILMN were removed. We compared the fracture rate of tibia during removal of Ace titanium ILMN. Results: The refracture rate during removal of Ace titanium ILMN was 17.2% (5/29 cases) previously, but after careful $quot; slow and steady $quot; removal of nail, the refracture rate was reduced to 0% (0/11 cases, P$lt;0.05). Conclusion: Take some cares during removal of ILMN is important to reduce the fracture rate of tibia during removal of Ace titanium ILMN.

In order to produce the single chain precursor of a novel human insulin analogue, (B^(30), homoserine) insulin, the fermentative behaviors of Escherichia coli JM103 were studied, which harbors pKBA plasmid carrying a hybrid gene in which the gene for a single chain precursor was fused with lacZ gene under tac promoter. The maximal induction of gene expression was achieved when more than 0.05 mM of isopropyl-β-D-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG) was supplemented to fermentation medium after 4 h cultivation of E. coli, and followed by longer than 2-h fermentation. The hybrid protein of the single chain insulin precursor was isolated from cytoplasmic inclusion bodies by dissolving in 8M urea solution, and purified through DEAE-Sephacel and Sephadex G-200 column chromatographies with a recovery of 35%. The finally purified hybrid protein showed a single band on sodium dodecvl sulfate-polyacrvlamide gel.
