        언어 게임을 활용한 한국어 교수,학습 방법 연구

        Various teaching methods are used in Korean language classrooms to make the language learning interesting and to reduce boredom and anxiety. Language games are one of the methods used for that purpose. Games are very effective in proceduralising the knowledges on language, i.e., in transforming the declarative knowledge into the procedural knowledge in the brains of a language learner. This paper is an attempt to apply games to teaching and learning Korean by adapting them into the teacher’s manuals of the regular Korean language program at the language institute of a university in Korea. In the article the author examines the definition on language games, then make questionnaire surveys in order to obtain information on the game uses in Korean language teaching classrooms. He proposes three principles on which a language game should be formulated and mentions some aspects which should be considered in choosing a language game. On the basis of the questionnaire results the author has composed sample teaching plans which make use of language games.

        학습자 모국어를 활용한 한국어 교수-학습 방법의 모색

        The purpose of this papers is to set up effective methods of teaching Korean as a foreign/second language by using the learner`s mother tongue (L1). In order to reach the purpose, the paper sets as a premise that the learner`s mother tongue is a positive element in teaching and learning a foreign language. This paper starts with a brief review on how foreign/second language theories deal with the learners` L1. It then presents some concrete methods of using the learner`s mother tongue, while maintaining that the learner`s L1 should be used to increase the communicative competence of the learners and that it also should be used in a creative way to produce a genuine bilingual who can command his/her mother tongue and the target language, i.e. the Korean language. The research discusses some advantages which are gained by using the learners`s L1; incorporating the learner`s cognitive competence in language learning, strengthening the learner`s motivation and cooperative learning among the learners, and securing possibilities to use languages in the real life.         한국어 예비교원의 국외 교육실습의 실제-러시아 사할린에서 진행된 내용을 중심으로

        It cannot be denied that one of the most important elements which determine the quality of education is the teacher’s competence. In this connection, practicum of teaching Korean is a compulsory course in the curriculum for training Korean-language teachers. This paper deals with the actual practicum of overseas Korean-language education initiated by the National Institute of Korean Language in 2017 for the purpose of strengthening the educational capacity and the employment capacity of the pre-service Korean-language teachers. For this purpose, the author examines the basis of the discussion for the practicum of Korean-language education, and then reviews the precedent research. In addition, he presents the content of the practical training fulfilled in Sakhalin, Russia, and then make suggestions to make similar programs more effective in the future. (Inha University)

        시조를 활용한 한국어 수업의 실제 - 창의적 글쓰기를 위한 시도

        이 연구는 한국의 전통 시가인 시조를 단순히 내용을 감상하고 문학적 가치를 교육하는 차원을 넘어서 창의적인 글쓰기의 제재로 활용하려는 시도이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 시조의 문학적 가치와 교육학적 가치를 조명하였다. 그리고 한국어 교실 수업에서 사용될 수 있는 수업을 설계하여 제시하였다. 교육과정은 ‘도입-전개-활동-확장’의 단계로 구안되었다. 도입 단계에서는 시조의 역사, 형식적 특징과 내용을 중심으로 시조의 개염을 살펴보았다. 전개 단계에서는 한국어 학습자들이 고시조와 현대시조의 내용을 이해하고 감상하도록 했다. 이 연구의 중심인 활동 단계에서는 한국어 학습자들이 시조에 대한 자신의 지식, 한국어 구사력, 그리고 문학적 창의력을 활용하여 시조를 창작했다. 확장 단계에서는 시조와 학습자의 모국어로 된 전통 시가를 비교하는 상호문화 활동이 진행되었다. 본 연구에서 검토되고 도출된 내용이 융합되어 시조를 활용한 창의적 교육이 이루어진다면 한국어 학습자가 시조를 즐기면서 짓는 활동의 범위가 국내외에서 확대될 것이며 학습자의 창의력도 향상될 것으로 기대된다. This study attempted to utilize sijos, traditional three-verse Korean poems, for creative writing, well beyond enjoying its content and educating its literary value. In order to achieve this goal, the literary and pedagogical values ​​of sijo were examined. And then a teaching plan that could be used in Korean-language classrooms was presented, as the stages of 'introduction - development - activity - expansion' were designed in the teaching process. In the 'introduction' stage the concept of sijo was reviewed, based on the history, formal features and contents of sijo. At the 'development' stage Korean-language learners tried to understand and appreciate the contents of classic pieces of sijo and modern ones. In the ‘activity’ stage, which is the core of this study, Korean-language learners created sijos by exerting their knowledge of sijos, their ability to speak Korean, and their literary creativity. In the 'expansion' stage cross-cultural activities were conducted to compare and present sijos and traditional poems in the learners' native language. If the creative education using sijos is achieved by synthesizing the implications reviewed and derived in this study, the scope of activities of Korean-language learners to enjoy and create Sijo through Korean learners will be expanded at home and abroad, and the learners’ creativity is expected to increase.

        우즈베키스탄 유학생의 한국언어문화 적응 연구

        Quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis were conducted in order to examine the adaptation status of Uzbekistani students to the Korean language and culture at a university in Korea. The results of the quantitative analysis show well their degree of adaptation to the Korean language and culture: ① Overall, they adapt well to the university, where they study. ② Their homesickness is not severe. ③ The culture shock is moderate, though they do not adapt very well to Korean culture, but adapts without major problems. ④ Their Korean language ability is at a beginner’s level, so they use Korean language a little passively. ⑤ Interpersonal relationship with Korean people is normal. The results of the quantitative analysis of four students from Uzbekistan also support the results of the qualitative analysis as a whole. They show strong confidence in the success of their studies, feel the joy of learning and using Korean language, and try to use it as positively as possible. Their desire for success in academic and studying life is much stronger than their homesickness. They are experiencing diverse cultural differences in Korean society which is different from the Islamic culture of their home country. And they are trying to maintain good human relations with Koreans. (Inha University)

        라트비아 학습자를 위한 한국어 교재 개발의 실제-초급 교재 `Korejiesu valoda 1, 2`를 중심으로

        It is well-known that textbooks are one of the indispensable core elements with teachers and learners, that must always be present in the places of education. As the interest in learning the Korean language increases rapidly not only in Korean but also abroad, the demand for Korean language textbooks developed to satisfy the learners from specific cultural or language areas are also growing. This papers shows the process of developing the two-volumed beginner`s textbooks for Latvian learners of the Korean language. It examined previous studies which dealt with the process of developing Korean language textbooks for foreigners. Then the actual process of developing the textbooks for Latvian learners were shown. The paper discussed the actual steps through which the books were developed. It defined the principles which were applied for the textbook development, and the content of the textbooks and their chapters. It illustrated the textbook development process with a sample chapter.         논문 : 전래동화를 활용한 한국어 교수-학습 방법 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to set up a course model for teaching and learning the Korean Language by using Korean traditional fairy tales. The paper is based on a classroom course entitled `Textology of Korean Traditional Fairy Tales`, which I have led at the Section of Korean Studies, Sofia University "Saint Kliment Ohridski", Bulgaria. This paper shows that traditional fairy tales are ideal teaching materials for integrated teaching of the Korean language, i.e. they are suitable for intermediate and high levels of Korean language learners to increase reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and to obtain cultural knowledge of the target language. The author deals with various activities which are carried out during the whole process of the teaching and learning course. He shows how to organize a course of teaching and learning Korean as a foreign language, examines examples of teaching and learning activities which can be done before the class hours, during the class hours and after the class hours and also shows how to fulfill the evaluation process. In conclusion the paper mentions that there are many merits achieved by using fairy tales to teach and learn practical Korean and suggests this teaching method be applied by colleagues in Korea and abroad.
