In this study, pyramid structured black silicon process was developed in order to overcome disadvantages of using wet etching to texture the surface of single crystalline silicon and using grass/needle-like black silicon structure. In order to form the pyramidal black silicon structure on the silicon surface, the RIE system was modified to equip with metal-mesh on the top of head shower. The process conditions were: SF6/O2 gas flow 15/15 sccm, RF power of 200 W, pressure at 50 mTorr~200 mTorr, and temperature at 5℃. The pressure did not affect the pyramid structure significantly. Increasing processing time increased the size of the pyramid, however, the size remained constant at 1 μm~2 μm between 15 minutes~20 minutes of processing. Pyramid structure of 1 μm in size showed to have the lowest reflectivity of 7 %~10 %. Also, the pyramid structure black silicon is more appropriate than the grass/needle-like black silicon when creating solar cells.

In this paper, we found surface shapes are affected by several parameters of RIE, such as RF power, pressure, temp, and process times. The reflectance of pyramid and half sphere structures show differences among shapes, size, height, and depth of those structures. We made about 1㎛ pyramid and half sphere shapes of silicon surface with RIE. For comparing the reflectance, pyramid and half sphere structures are fabricated with same height. Pyramid structure cell shows higher cell efficiency of 12.5% by 1.1% than one of half sphere structure of 11.4%. The light absorption is more increased through the pyramid structure than half sphere structure.

N/A Peutz-Jeghers syndrome has three cardinal features, gastrointestinal polyposis, mucocutaneous pigmentation and autosomal dominant inheritance. This syndrome is clinically important because of the complication of gastrointestinal polyps, leading to abdominal pain, anemia due to gastrointestinal bleeding, intussusception, and a certain risk of malignant change. We experienced a case of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome combined with intussusception after colonoscopy.
복수의 감별에 있어 혈청과 복수내 CEA 및 CA19-9의 가치에 관한 연구

1989년 4월 1990년 12월까지 본원 내과에서 입원하였던 복수 환자 81예를 대상을 그 원인 악성 질환에 의한 것인지 양성 질환에 의한 것인지를 감별하기 위해 혈청 및 복수내의 CEA, CA19-9의 농도를 측정 비교하여 그 임상적 의의에 대해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 악성 질환에서의 CEA의 혈청내 평균치는 양성질환보다 의의있는 상승을 보였으며(p<0.05), 복수내 평균치 또한 유의한 상승을 보였다(p<0.01)> 2) CA19-9의 혈청과 복수에서의 평균치는 악성 복수군에서 현저한 상승을 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다.(p>0.05). 3) 복수의 감별진다에 있어 CEA의 복수내의 민감도는 84%였으며 혈청에서는 71%이였으며 CA19-9는 복수내의 민감도가 68% 혈청에서는 60%로 CEA보다는 전체적으로 민감도가 낮았다. 4) 혈청과 복수에서 CEA 병합 검사시 민감도는 86%로 상승하였으며 CA19-9병합 검사시 민감도 또한 73%로 상승 하였으며 모두 병합 검사시 민감도는 92%로 의의있는 상승을 보였다. 5) 혈청내 CEA 복수내 CEA 혈청내 CA19-9 및 복수내 CA19-9 검사간에는 유의한 상관관계가 있었다(p<0.005, p<0.001). 이상과 같이 혈청과 복수에서의 CEA와 CA19-9 농도 측정은 복수의 원인이 악성 질환에 의한 것인지를 아는데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. Ascites may be caused by various benign and malignant disease, but it is sometimes difficult to determine whether it is caused by benign disease or malignant diseases. In order to determine whether CEA, CA 19-9 in ascitic fluid and serum assist in the diagnosis of malignant disease that causing ascites, we studied 38 cases of malignant ascites and 43 cases of benign ascites patients who were admitted to Seoul Adventist Hospital from April 1989 to December 1990. The results were obtained as follows: 1) The mean value of CEA in serum and ascitic fluid of the malignant ascites group were significantly higher than that of the benign ascites group in serum (p<0.05), in ascites (p<0.01). 2) The mean value of CA 19-9 in serum and ascitic fluid of the malignant ascites group was signficantly higher than that of the benign ascites group was significantly higher than that of the benign ascites group, there was no significance in statistical aspects(p>0.05). 3) The sensitivity of CEA was 81% in ascites, 78% in serum, the sensitivity of CA 19-9 was 63% in ascites, 65% in serum. 4) The sensitivity of CEA was increased to 87% in serum and ascites combinations, the sensitivity of CA 19-9 was also increased to 81% in serum and ascites combinations. The sensitivity was significantly elevated to 92% in case of all tumor marker combinations. 5) There was a significant correlations between serum CEA and ascites CEA, serum CA 19-9 and ascites CA 19-9. (p<0.01, in all cases) It was concluded that the measurement of serum and ascites CEA, CA 19-9 levels is useful lin differention between ascites caused by benign and malignant diseases. Combinantions of each tumor markers in serum and ascites were more accurate than single test.
GPR41 효능제의 3T3-L1 지방세포 지질축적 억제효과

G protein-coupled receptor 41 (GPR41) is activated by short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) such as acetate (C2), propionate (C3), butyrate (C4). It is known to stimulate the secretion of glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) in the intestinal enteroendocrine L-cell and leptin in adipocytes. The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of GPR41 agonists including AR420626, 1-methyl cyclo- propane-1-carboxylic acid (1-MCPC) and propionate on lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. GPR41 agonists did not show cytotoxic effect at all concentration tested. Each GPR41 agonist reduced lipid ac- cumulation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. They decreased the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated re- ceptor-g (PPAR-g) that contributes to the regulation of lipid accumulation. Among three agonists, AR420626 showed the greater effect on the regulation of lipid accumulation than 1-MCPC and propionate. Therefore, this observation indicates the beneficial effect of GPR41 activation for the man- agement of obesity.

Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) is well known of excellent antioxidant food so that we researched on its anti-aging and callus differentiation from the tissue of broccoli stem by MS medium with exo-phytohormone as IAA, kinetin. The functional materials of callus tissue were extracted with water and 70% EtOH after 16 days progressed callus formation. As a result, callus differentiation and formation were showed higher efficiency at B5 condition medium (0.1 mg/L IAA, 0.4 mg/L). The callus cultured on B3, B6 and B7 medium were observed the reaction of enzymatic browning to callus tissue. The anti-aging effect on the extract was experiment with DPPH radical scavenging and catalase(CAT). The activity of DPPH radical scavenging was showed high value in water extract of B1, B6, B8, B9 and was increased depending on sample concentration. However, in case of the extract of 70% EtOH, DPPH activity was showed different effect depending on the sample kind. CAT activity was found the highest enzyme unit in the extract of natural broccoli and B1(no add exo-phytohormone). It is to express that a broccoli itself is great food for anti-aging. Therefore, callus formation of broccoli considers having no economic efficiency to do development of anti-aging product.
