Polyketone is a thermoplastic polymer known for its strong mechanical properties and chemical resistance. Such superiorities make it difficult to process and modify chemically for further functionalizations and applications. In this work, we introduce a novel method for functionalizing the alpha carbon of polyketone. We succeeded to attach allyl groups to the backbone of polyketone by a heterogeneous reaction between polyketone enolate and allyl bromide. Allylated polyketone is not soluble in common solvents. Since we started with a membrane of polyketone, there is no need to cast again. Further functionalization is possible through pending allyl groups via alkene addition reactions and ionic or radicalic polymerization.
청소년이 지각하는 푸드 카빙에 대한 직업이미지가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 있어 사회적 지지의 조절효과

This research there is no job category but an understanding of the image of food carving that can be regarded as a professional job, and discover the relationship that affects the level of decision making in a career to provide base data of counseling career and education for students. I also looked into controlling effects of social support in the relationship between job image and level of decision making in a career. This is because the importance of social support is emerging for successful change from adolescence to adulthood. The result of field test came out as following: Firstly, after analyzing technical statistics on itemized job image about food carving, the job image on food carving guarantees professionalism and autonomy but compensation is low and social reputation is not good comparatively. Secondly, after testing relationship between job image and level of decision making in careers, in order of compensation, professionalism, social reputation, job characteristics, working environment effect this level. Thirdly, as a result of examining the controlling effect of social support in relationship between job image and level of decision making in careers, this level increased more when people perceive highly on professionalism, working environment, social reputation and emotional support at same time, and also increased if people perceive higher on compensation, professionalism, social reputation and informational support at same time. Also, the level of decision making in careers increased when people perceive high to compensation and business characteristics not only perceiving in physical support, and also increased when they perceive higher to compensation and speciality not only perceiving evaluation support among job images. This means the level of decision making in careers becomes different depending on what type of social support people perceive most among various composing factors in job image. Therefore to make food carving as a job we will have to do active PPL through mass media in association and various kinds of food carving related meetings or hold all kinds of competitions and change cognition of public. Also see food carving as job through various social support and help teenager making decision for careers. 본 연구에서는 아직 직업적 분류가 없으나, 향후 전문 직업으로 인식될 수 있는 푸드 카빙에 대한 직업이미지를 파악하고, 이러한 직업이미지가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향관계를 파악하여, 학생들의 진로상담 및 교육의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 또한 직업이미지가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향관계에 있어 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 파악하였다. 이는 청년기에서 성인기로의 성공적인 전환을 위해서 사회적 지지의 중요성이 밝혀지고 있기 때문이다. 실증분석 결과 다음과 같은 연구결과가 도출되었다. 첫째, 푸드 카빙에 대한 직업이미지의 항목별 기술통계분석을 실시한 결과 푸드 카빙에 대한 직업이미지는 전문성과 자율성이 보장되지만 보상이 낮고 사회적 평판이 상대적으로 좋지 않는 직업이미지로 나타났다. 둘째, 직업이미지와 진로결정수준의 영향관계를 검증한 결과 직업이미지 중 보상, 전문성, 사회적 평판, 업무특성, 업무환경 순으로 진로결정수준에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직업이미지와 진로결정수준의 관계에서 사회적지지의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 직업이미지 중 전문성, 업무환경, 사회적 평판에 대해 높게 지각하고 동시에 정서적지지에 대해 높게 지각하면 진로결정수준이 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 직업이미지 중 보상, 전문성, 사회적 평판에 대해 높게 지각하고 동시에 정보적지지에 대해 높게 지각하면 진로결정수준이 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직업이미지 중 보상 및 업무특성에 대해 높게 지각하고 동시에 물질적지지에 대해 높게 지각하면 진로결정수준이 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 직업이미지 중 보상 및 전문성에 대해 높게 지각하고 동시에 평가적지지에 대해 높게 지각하면 진로결정수준이 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 직업이미지의 다양한 구성요소 중 어떠한 유형의 사회적 지지에 대해 높게 지각하느냐에 따라 진로결정수준이 달라진다는 것이다. 따라서 푸드 카빙을 하나의 직업군으로 인식시키기 위해서는 이에 협회 및 각종 푸드 카빙과 관련된 모임 등에서 대중매체를 통한 활발한 PPL을 행하거나 각종 대회 등을 개최하여 대중들의 인식전환을 해야 할 것이다. 또한 다양한 사회적 지지를 통해 푸드 카빙을 직업으로 인식하고 청소년들이 진로를 결정하는데 있어 도움을 주어야 할 것이다.

Skin barrier function can be assessed non-invasively, including by transepidermal water loss (TEWL), skin hydration, and sebum level. The aim of this study was to evaluate day-to-day variation in measurements of TEWL, skin hydration, and sebum level at various anatomic sites and the relationship between these parameters in normal dogs. Measurements were repeated five times on two separate days in five clinically normal Beagle dogs at seven anatomic sites, i.e., the left and right pinnae, left and right axillae, left and right groin areas, and ventrum. Coefficient of variation was used to show the variation in measurements. Correlations between each of the measurements were analyzed to determine the contribution of skin hydration and sebum level to TEWL. There was no variation in the measurements obtained according to time or anatomic site (P>0.05). The coefficient of variation was highest for sebum level (209.0 ± 81.8%) followed in descending order by skin hydration (62.7 ± 34.5%) and TEWL (41.1 ± 6.9%). Of the seven anatomic sites sampled, the left and right pinnae showed the lowest variation in repeated measurements for TEWL (39.2%), skin hydration (29.6%), and sebum level (75.5%). There was no significant relationship between the results for each measurement (P>0.05). Because of its relatively low variation on repeated measurement, TEWL might be the most useful way of evaluating skin condition in dogs.
Desalination properties of aminated PK-g-VBC membrane by CDI unit cell

The aminated polyketone-g-vinylbenzyl chloride anion exchange membrane was graft copolymerized using the irradiation grafting technique. The synthesis results and the morphology of the membrane were confirmed by Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy and Scanning electron microscopy-energy disperse X-ray spectrometer (SEM-EDS) analysis. Also ion exchange capacity(IEC), water uptake (W.U) and electrical resistance(E.R) of the membrane were measured by titration, gravimetric method and LCR meter respectively. The degree of grafting increased from 13.05% to 98% as the irradiation dose and the monomer concentration increased. The water uptake ranged from 11.11% to 35%. The ion-exchange capacity increased from 0.34 meq/g to 1.2 meq/g, and the electrical resistance decreased from 8.48 Ω·㎠ to 1.4 Ω·㎠ as degree of grafting increased.
