        광유(Mineral oil)법을 통한 옴(Scabies) 진단 및 치료 증례

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the diagnosis and treatment of scabies using mineral oil examination and sulfur. Methods : Mineral oil is dropped on the skin lesion area and the burrow, and then scrape 6-7 times with blade 11. Collect the contained mineral oil, place it on a slide, and observe it under an optical microscope. After the scabies were confirmed, sulfur was applied to the whole body once a day. Results : When examined 2 weeks after treatment, scabies and feces were not observed and symptoms were relieved. Conclusions : Mineral oil examination is recommended to confirm scabies, and sulfur can be used to treat scabies.

        Thioacetamide로 유도된 간섬유화 모델에서 생간건비탕(生肝健脾湯)의 보호 효과

        Objective : In modern society, liver diseases such as liver fibrosis are on the rise as inflammation and wound healing processes of the liver are repeated due to factors such as drinking, smoking, and stress. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of Saenggangeonbi-tang (SGGBT) on thioacetamide (TAA)-induced liver fibrosis. Methods : The mice were divided into 4 groups for examination (n=6): Normal group (Nor), distilled water-treated liver fibrosis mice (Con), silymarin 50 mg/kg-treated liver fibrosis mice (Sily), SGGBT 200 mg/kg-treated liver fibrosis mice (S200). Liver fibrosis was established in the mice via TAA for 8 weeks (1 week 100 mg/kg, 2,3 weeks 200 mg/kg, 4-8 weeks 400 mg/kg, three times a week, intraperitoneal injection) and they were administered silymarin and SGGBT (every day, oral administration) with the TAA. Results : SGGBT significantly decreased the levels of aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferanse, ammonia, and myeloperoxidase in serum increased by liver fibrosis. As a result of confirming H&E and MT staining, it was confirmed that SGGBT reduced damage and inflammatory cell infiltration in liver tissue, and alleviated changes in collagen fiber deposition and histological fibrosis. Also, it was confirmed through PAS staining that it reduced glycogen deposition in liver tissue. In addition, SGGBT significantly decreased the NADPH oxidases as well as significantly modulated the expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2. Conclusions : These results suggest that SGGBT regulates the expression of MMP/TIMP protein through inhibition of oxidative stress and alleviates liver fibrosis by reducing collagen and glycogen deposition in liver tissue.

        한약 단독 치료를 이용한 심상성 사마귀 1례 보고

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report a case of verruca vulgaris patient, treated only with Korean medicine. Methods : A 6-years-old female patient was treated only with Korean medicine due to verruca vulgaris on left hand. Photographs and size measurements of lesions were used to evaluate the changes in symptoms. Results : After 3 months of treatment, the patient's lesions showed almost complete clearance and there were no adverse effects. Conclusions : According to the results, Korean medicine with Bojungikgi-tang Hab Saengmaek-san Gamibang could be an effective and safe treatment for verruca vulgaris in a pediatric patient.

        유아의 놀이에 대한 이미지 분석

        목적 본 연구는 2020년부터 2년간의 코로나-19 팬데믹 시기동안 유아교육기관에 재학중인 만 5세 유아들이 경험하였던 놀이 이해를 위해 실시한 연구이다. 만5세 유아들이 코로나 상황에서 사회적 거리두기, 마스크사용 등 국가방역지침에 적응하며 제한된 놀이상황에서 경험한 즐거운 놀이를 파악하기 위해 이미지 분석을 활용하여 유아들의 놀이에 대한 인식을 파악하고 유아기의 전인발달을 위해 필요한 놀이 지원을 위한 연구이다. 방법 서울, 경기, 충남, 전북 지역의 총 6개의 기관의 만 5세반 유아 159명(남아 80명, 여아 79명)을 대상으로 2021년 12월 7일~2022년 2월 11일까지 유아의 놀이에 대한 그림을 수집하고 유아 면담이 이루어졌다. 수집된 유아의 그림 및 면담 자료는 놀이관계, 놀이공간, 놀이유형, 놀이표정으로 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 유아의 놀이에서 유아의 놀이관계 대상은 주로 유아교육기관의 또래라고 인식하고 있었으며, 혼자놀이 유형도 매우 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이공간은 주로 유아교육기관과 가정의 실내 환경이었다. 셋째, 유아의 놀이유형은 신체놀이가 가장 높았으며, 게임, 스마트폰, 미디어 기기 등의 놀이가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 유아의 놀이표정은 주로 긍정적으로 표현 되었으나, 마스크 착용의 그림과 입이 없는 얼굴, 사람이 없는 놀이장면 등이 나타났다. 결론 팬데믹 시기와 같은 제한적인 교육환경에서 경험하는 유아들이 인식하는 놀이 이미지를 확인하였고. 전인발달이 이루어져야 하는 결정적인 유아기에 예측할 수 없는 급변하는 미래 상황에서도 유아들의 균형 잡힌 놀이를 지원하고 다양한 놀이환경을 제공하기 위해 노력해야 하며, 위기상황 및 제한된 상황에서도 영유아기의 일상생활이자 전인발달을 위한 놀이를 지원할 수 있는 유아교육과정 운영계획에 필요한 기초자료로 사용되기를 기대한다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the image of play of children attending early childhood education institutions under various restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this, it is a study to understand the image of children's play and to support appropriate play for children. Methods The research method targeted 159 children aged 5 and a half at a total of six institutions in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk. A 5-year-old infant drew a picture of play and had individual interviews. Data analysis was analyzed by play relationships, play spaces, play types, and play expressions. Results As a result of the study, first, in the play of children, the subjects of play relationships of children were mainly recognized as peers of early childhood education institutions, and solo play was also very high. Second, the play space for children was mainly found to be the indoor environment of early childhood education institutions and homes. Third, the type of play for children was mainly physical play, and the play for games, smartphones, and media devices was also high. Fourth, the play expression of children was mainly expressed positively, and the picture without masks and features was high. Conclusions The play images perceived by children experiencing limited educational environments such as pandemics, unpredictable changes are expected to be used as basic data for the operation of early childhood curriculum that can be supported by children for their play in future situations.

        백출(白朮)의 항산화 효과가 DSS 유발 궤양성 대장염 모델에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : Although the pharmacological effects of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidzumi water extract (AM) have been proven from many studies, reports on the antioxidant effect of AM on ulcerative colitis (UC) are scarce. Therefore, we aimed at evaluating the anti-oxidant effect of AM on the DSS-induced UC model. Methods : To induce ulcerative colitis, 8-week-old male Balb/c mice received 5% DSS in drinking water for 1 week. After 1 week of adaptation, mice were divided into four groups (n=8 each) for use as normal (Normal), DSS Control (Control), DSS + AM 100 ㎎/kg (AM100)-treatment, DSS + AM 200 ㎎/kg (AM200)-treatment. After 1 week of the experiment, the animals were sacrificed, and the extracted colon tissue was analyzed for protein through western blot. Results : As a result of confirming the macroscopic changes in colon tissues to confirm the therapeutic effects of AM, the decrease in colon length was suppressed in the AM treatment group compared to the control group. In addition, as a result of biochemical analysis, AM administration significantly reduced serum glutamic oxalacetic transaminase, glutamic pyruvate transaminase levels and tissue malondialdehyde levels. As a result of confirming the protein expression level through western blot, AM administration significantly decreased the expression of NADPH-related proteins such as NOX2, p22<sup>phox</sup>, and iNOS, but significantly increased the expression of SOD, catalase, and GPx-1/2. Conclusions : AM may improve DSS-induced UC in mice by modulating NADPH and antioxidant-related proteins. In conclusion, AM showed an antioxidant effect through the improvement of oxidative stress on UC.

      • 타겟 기반 동영상 손떨림 보정 성능 검증

        Undesirable shaking in the user’s hand causes camera motion which makes the recorded video shaky and unstable. To alleviate the shaking phenomenon, the existing video stabilization techniques have been focused on stabilizing all the objects within the scene. While these algorithms provide very stable output videos, they lose vividness that the original videos include. Recently, target-based video stabilization was proposed to keep the vividness as well as the stability. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the target-based video stabilization using Mean Opinion Score (MOS) in terms of stability, vividness, and fatigue. Experimental results demonstrate that while the target-based video stabilization provides stable output video, it maintains the vividness of the original video.
