        일회성 유산소 운동이 남 · 녀 대학생의 뇌파활성도에 미치는 영향

        Brain cortical activation on the exercise has been recently interested. The purpose of this study was to confirm the EEG changes and characteristics after acute treadmill running among an young male and female college people. 14 number(male 7 and female 7) were subjected to this study. EEG data were recorded by Laxa equipment before and after submaximal treadmill running. There was a totally decrease 14.11% in relative alpha activity immediately after exercise finish, compare to the rest value, while totally increase 23.93% in beta wave. Female was lower 20.71% in relative alpha activity and higher 35.73% in beta wave than those of the male during rest just before acute exercise. However after immediately exercise, relative alpha activity decreased mean 10.89% in female and 11.11% in male. Relative beta immediately after exercise wave increased mean 8.16% in female, while Male increased sharply 53.16%. This study demonstrated that there was a difference in the EEG activity between gender, but was not clear that’s why generated.

        8주간 복합운동 프로그램이 중년 여성의 동맥경직도 및 관련 변인에 미치는 효과

        In general, aerobic exercise decreases arterial stiffness and blood pressure, but resistance training increases them. We tested the hypothesis that combined exercise(aerobic and resistance training) may alter the cardiovascular risk factors and arterial stiffness(PWV). A total of thirty healthy women(age, 44.4±5.2yr) arranged into exercise group(n=15) and control group(n=15). Combined exercise program composited by two part, which aerobic training walk and jog during about 30min on treadmill, and resistance training consist of 5 machine exercise(squat, bench press, sit up, lat pull down,knee extension) performing 10 reps, 3sets, respectively. After combined training during 8 weeks, left and right baPWVs were decreased from 1279.2±211.0 ㎝/sec to 1229.8±168.2 ㎝/sec and from 1284.6±203.2 ㎝/sec to 1249.9±171.8 ㎝/sec, respectively, although statistically not significant. In conclusion, these results suggested that combined exercise during 8 weeks can reduce the decrease or at least no increasement of arterial stiffness in the middled-aged women. Further studies using larger sample size will be required to clarify the precise relationship between combined exercise and arterial stiffness.

        초등학생의 아침운동이 IGF-1, BDNF 및 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate whether voluntary exercise in the morning increases IGF-1 and brain-derived neurotrophic factor concentration in the child for 13 weeks. A total of 18 students(13.4±1.6yrs. aged, 157.0±5.1cm height, 47.3± 17.1kg weight) in elementary school were recruited in this study, and divided into control and exercise group, respectively. They performed a 5 days exercise program, composed mainly of different and moderate intensity bouts. After 13 weeks of program, there were not significant difference between two groups among the all blood lipid variables. Height and weight in exercise group, however, increased significantly after exercise program(p<001), not in control group. In fitness variables muscle endurence in exercise group, also, increased significantly after 13 weeks training(/p<.001). One of growth factor, IGF-1 level, was significantly increased 31.5% in exercise group after 13 weeks training(p<001), In case of BDNF, main factor in this study exercise group showed significantly 35.2% higher than those of before 13 weeks training(/p<.001), but control group lowered significantly 11.8% after 13 weeks duration/pC005). There was a significantly different between two groups after training program In conclusion even though the exercise program applied in this study was too enough intensity to induce a positive results on the blood lipid profiles and body composition, it was recognized that exercise volume loaded by different physical activity was optimal to increase the serum IGF-1 and BDNF level in blood for child.

      • 청각 자극용 전기자극기 개발

        This paper introduces a development of an electrical stimulator for auditory stimulation. The electrical stimulator is useful in neurotological diagnosis, audiological evaluation, candidate selection for cochlear implantation, optimal device selection and decision making of MAP strategy for severe-to-profound hearing impaired persons. The development was based on sound parameters of auditory brainstem responses and auditory electrophysiological characteristic such as effective firing of auditory nerve and recording evoked potentials during refractory period of neuron. Besides pulse parameter could adjustable by programming for more varied electrical stimulation evoked response audiometry. Using the electrical stimulator, electrical square pulse was applied to promontory, and electrically evoked auditory brainstem response and electrically middle latency response were successfully recorded in cats.

        신체적 특성, 근력, 그리고 골밀도간의 관계

        This study was performed in order to obtain the basic data for the relationship between physical characteristics, body composition, and local bone mineral densities in young women. The subjects were volunteered in forty-four students of E women's university. Their ages were within 21.5±1.48 years. Body composition estimated with the Bioelectrical Impedence method(model; In Body.1999, Biospace Co. Korea), and Local bone mineral densities were measured by DEXA method(dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, PKI 51008 model, Lunar Co. USA). Results in this study were as fellowing. The bone density of right wrist was positively correlated with age of young women(r=0.399, P<.05). It recognized that the more age, the higher bone density, in the case of young women under thirty age. That powerfully influenced on the local bone density of left os calcis was the muscle mass volume; they showed positive correlation(r=0.426, P<.000). However, muscle mass volume in the young women was highly related to height(r=0.666, P<.000) rather than their weight(r=0.554, P<.000). In conclusion, it was suggested that the local bone density at the left os calcis, axial bone, is possible to sustain and increase it even through ordinary walking in lifestyle, but the wrist site, appendicular bone must stimulate much more strain through the various physical activities in young women.
