        톱다리개미허리노린재의 체색변이를 이용한 발생세대 예측

        톱다리개미허리노린재(Riptortus pedestris (Fabricius))는 콩과 작물을 가해하는 해충으로 국내 대부분의 지역에서 발견된다. 톱다리개미허리노린재는 성충 수명이 길고 발육기간이 짧아 야외에서 여러 세대가 혼재되어 발생하고 있어 각 세대를 구분하기 어렵다. 특히, 제2세대 성충의 발생시기는 콩의 착협기와 일치하여 큰 피해를 주고 있어, 제1세대 성충의 방제는 제2세대 밀도를 감소시켜 콩과 작물의 피해를 줄이는데 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 연구는 약충기간의 광주기가 성충의 체색변이에 영향을 주는 특성을 이용하여 야외 포장에서 월동세대와 제1세대의 발생시기를 구분하였다. 또한 톱다리개미허리노린재 개체군 모형을 수립하고 적용하여 이를 검증하였다. 여름형 성충의 비율이 20% 이상 되는 시기를 제1세대 톱다리개미허리노린재 성충의 발생시기로 추정할 수 있으며, 이는 제2세대 성충의 밀도를 억제하기 위한 방제시기를 결정하는데 활용될 것으로 기대된다. Riptortus pedestris (Fabricius) is one of the important insect pests of leguminous crops, which occurs in most areas of South Korea. It is hard to distinguish each generation in crop fields since not only the longevity of adult R. pedestris is long but also the developmental period is short. Especially, the 2nd generation adults cause enormous damage to soybean while the occurrence time is synchronized with the podding stage of soybean. Controlling the 1st generation of R. pedestris helps to decrease the damage by decreasing the 2nd generation density. This study was conducted to distinguish between the 1st generation and the overwintering generation by using differences in body coloration which is dependent on the day-length during the nymph stage. In addition, the difference was verified by the population dynamics model of R. pedestris. The occurrence time of 1st generation adults could be considered when the summer form is 20% or more. These results will be used for beneficial management decisions to reduce the 2nd generation population.

        응구기 와 시옹오의 「마티가리」 - 포스트식민성과 주변부의 보편성

        ‘ Decentralization’ is the motto of Ngugi’s political and cultural agenda. He defines the Western culture and the Kenyan neo-colonial ruling elite as having been ‘the center’ dominating the modern Kenya. As a result, the predicament of postcoloniality prevails among the African neo-colonial nations. To expose and overcome the universal conditions of postcoloniality, Ngugi begins to write his later novels, on the one hand in the native Gikuyu language and on the other hand in the allegorical narrative. He believes that his works will rehabilitate the marginalized people and restore the African national culture against the Western one. In this aesthetic strategy, Matigari became a kind of new African classic, different from those of Achebe, S oyinka, and even Ngugi’s earlier English novels.

        원발급성폐쇄각발작에서 스펙트럼 빛간섭단층촬영을 이용한 황반부 신경절세포-내망상층의 두께변화

        Purpose: This study was conducted to measure macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer (mGC-IPL) thickness in patients with a history of unilateral single attack of acute primary angle closure (APAC) and to compare it with that of unaffected fellow eyes 8 weeks after resolution using spectrum domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). Methods: Medical records of 24 patients with history of first episode of unilateral APAC were reviewed retrospectively. Eight weeks after APAC, mGC-IPL thickness and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer thickness were measured with SD-OCT and analyzed in eyes affected by APAC (group 1) and fellow eyes (group 2). Results: There were no significant differences between the groups with regard to best corrected visual acuity, spherical equivalent, central corneal thickness, or axial length (<em>p</em> > 0.05). There were no significant differences in mGC-IPL thickness in the superotemporal, superior, or superonasal sectors (<em>p</em> > 0.05). However, average, inferonasal, inferior, and inferotemporal sectors of group 1 were significantly thinner than those of group 2 (<em>p</em> = 0.002, 0.002, 0.001, 0.001, respectively). In addition, average mGC-IPL difference between affected eyes and fellow eyes showed a statistically significant correlation with attack duration (correlation coefficient = 0.249, <em>p</em> = 0.019). Conclusions: Normalization of elevated intraocular pressure as soon as possible after APAC onset is recommended in order to reduce mGC-IPL loss, and measurements of mGC-IPL thickness can be helpful for follow-up of APAC patients.         2차 버퍼층 ZnMgO 박막의 Mg/(Mg+Zn) 비율 조절을 통한 SnS 박막 태양전지 효율 향상

        In the recent years, thin film solar cells (TFSCs) have emerged as a viable replacement for crystalline silicon solar cells and offer a variety of choices, particularly in terms of synthesis processes and substrates (rigid or flexible, metal or insulator). Among the thin-film absorber materials, SnS has great potential for the manufacturing of low-cost TFSCs due to its suitable optical and electrical properties, non-toxic nature, and earth abundancy. However, the efficiency of SnS-based solar cells is found to be in the range of 1 ~ 4 % and remains far below those of CdTe-, CIGS-, and CZTSSe-based TFSCs. Aside from the improvement in the physical properties of absorber layer, enormous efforts have been focused on the development of suitable buffer layer for SnS-based solar cells. Herein, we investigate the device performance of SnS-based TFSCs by introducing double buffer layers, in which CdS is applied as first buffer layer and ZnMgO films is employed as second buffer layer. The effect of the composition ratio (Mg/(Mg+Zn)) of RF sputtered ZnMgO films on the device performance is studied. The structural and optical properties of ZnMgO films with various Mg/(Mg+Zn) ratios are also analyzed systemically. The fabricated SnS-based TFSCs with device structure of SLG/Mo/SnS/CdS/ZnMgO/AZO/Al exhibit a highest cell efficiency of 1.84 % along with open-circuit voltage of 0.302 V, short-circuit current density of 13.55 mA cm<sup>-2</sup>, and fill factor of 0.45 with an optimum Mg/(Mg + Zn) ratio of 0.02.

        수포각막병증에서 치료레이저각막절제술의 단독시행 또는 양막이식술과 동시시행의 치료효과 비교

        Purpose: We evaluated the therapeutic effects of phototherapeutic keratectomy (PTK) with or without amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT) in patients who had symptomatic bullous keratopathy with poor visual potential. Methods: Twenty-five eyes of 25 patients with bullous keratopathy were reviewed retrospectively. Ten eyes (group A) were treated with PTK, and the other 15 eyes (group B) were treated with combined PTK and AMT. Changes of vision and symptoms, re-epithelization time, recurrence of bulla, central corneal thickness measured by anterior segment optical coherence tomography, and postoperative complications were analyzed. Results: At post-operative 3 months, visual acuity improved in 2 patients in both A and B groups. Nine patients in group A (90%) and 13 patients in group B (86.7%) showed symptom improvement. Mean re-epithelization time was 12.40 ± 4.33 days in group A and 8.13 ± 1.19 days in group B (p > 0.05). In both groups, central corneal thickness decreased postoperatively without statistically significant difference between groups. At the final follow-up visit, epithelial bulla had not recurred in 7 eyes (70.0%) in group A and 12 eyes (80.0%) in group B. No postoperative complication was detected. Conclusions: PTK alone appears comparable to the combined treatment of PTK and AMT in terms of symptom improvement, re-epithelization time and recurrence rate.

        흰쥐에서 혈청 (血淸) Fructose - 1 , 6 - Diphosphatase 측정에 의한 문맥주위 (門脈周圍) 및 간소엽중심부 (肝小葉中心部) 괴사의 (壞死) 판별

        N/A In order to test the hypothesis that periportal(acinar zone 1) and pericentral(acinar zone 3) necrosis can be differentiated by measurement of serum fructose-l, 6-diphosphatase (FDP) which has been reported to be predominanely distributed in the periportal zone of the acinus, the enzyme was assayed in serum during periportal necrosis induced by allyl alcohol(0.62m mole/kg, dissolved in 0.9% NaCl Itraperitoreally) and during pericentral necrosis by bromobenzene(3.80m mole/kg, dissolved in corn oil, intraperitoneally), and the activities were compared in two conditions. Serum FDP activities in normal saline control, allyl alcohol-treated normal histologic finding, minimal, moderate and severe periportal necrosis groups were 0.005+-0.018, 0.048+-0.018,0.090+-0.009,0.113+-0.029 and 0.140+-0.010 unit/ml, respectively. The levels in moderate and severe periportal recros group were significantly(p<p.01) elevated in comparison with those of normal control. Serum FDP activities in normal corn oil control, bromobenzene treated normal histologic finding, minimal, moderate and severe pericentral necrosis groups were 0.056+-0.014, 0.048+-0.014. 0.059+-0.021, 0.078+-0.021 and 0.124+-0.12 unit/ml, respectively, and it showed that the levels in minimal and moderate necrosis groups were nearly the same as those in normal control, and only those in group of severe necrosis showed significant (p<0.0l) elevation. The ALT and FDP activities between two groups have significantly correlated (r=0.665, r = 0.724), but the regression equation that is y=0.0085 x+0.069 or y=0.01 x +0.04 respectively, was significantly different. These results indicated that at least experimental necrosis of the periportal and perice- ntra! Zones in the rats can be differentiated by measurement of serum FDP. And it was suggested that simultaneous measurements of either serum beta-hydroxybutyric dehydrogenase or pyruvate kinase which was reported to be predominantly distr ibuted at the pericentral zone would help to differentiate more precisely.

        만성 간질환 환자에서의 , 소화성 궤양에 대한 Misoprostol ( Cytotec ) 의 치료 효과

        N/A The present study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of misoprostol (Cytotec) for the healing of gastroduodenal ulcer by double blind clinical trial. Twenty four patients with endoscopically- proven gastric or duodenal ulcer complicating chronic liver disease were randomized to receive misoprostol 200 ug or placebo 4 times a day for 4 weeks. Endoscopic, clinical and laboratory assessments were made before, during and after 4 weeks' treatment. The results were summerized as followitng; 1) After 4 weeks' treatment with misoprostol or placebo, complete healing rates of gastroduodenal ulcer were 36.4%, 0%, respectively and marked improvement (at least 3 endoscopic stages of the ulcer state,) was observed in 72.7%, 15.4%, respectively(p<0.03). 2) One patient treated with misoprostol suffered from mild watery diarrhea, which was transient in spite of continued administration. Another patient complained of mild lower abdominal discomfort. There was no evidence of significant drug-related hepatocellular injury and the precipitation of hepatic failure or encephalopathy by the misoprostol. We conclude that misoprostol 200 ug 4 times a day is effective as well as safe for the healing of gastroduodenal ulcer in patients with chronic liver disease.
