Vehicle routing problem with time windows is determined each vehicle route in order to minimize the transportation costs. All delivery points in geography have various time restriction in camparision with the basic vehicle routing problem. Vechicle routing problem with time windows is known to be NP-hard, and it needs a lot of computing time to get the optimal solution, so that heuristics are more frequently developed than optimal algorithms. This study aims to develop a heuristic method which combines guided local search with a tabu search in order to minimize the transportation costs for the vehicle routing assignment and uses ILOG programming library to solve. The computational tests were performed using the benchmark problems.
일본 에도시대(江戶時代) 여성의 결발양식(結髮樣式)과 머리장식에 관한 연구

This study was purposed to investigate women"s coiffure styles and hair ornaments in the Edo period of Japan in which Japanese coiffure styles was prospered and the traditional Japanese hairdo was completed, and resulted in following conclusions.<BR> 1. Japanese coiffure styles consisted of four parts of Maegami, Mage, Tabo, and Bin and there had been developments and transformations in the order of Maegami, Mage, Tabo and Bin. Although there was no distinct difference in the Maegami part throughout the period, the Mage part consisted critical part of women"s coiffure style in the Edo period in which the part showed plain figure with no stump in the early days and became to have stump made with several complicated arts since the middle days, thereby it could represent their differentiated status, class and job of the person who wore it.<BR> It was difficult to tell the Tabo part from the Bin part in early days, but balanced beauty was purposed using subsidiary accessories used to be unseen in the latter days.<BR> 2. In the early days of the Edo period, such simple coiffure styles as Karawamage and Hyogomage which had no stumps and hair tied in the upper were in fashion. In the middle years, Simadamage, Kachyamamage and Kogaimage styles which had stumps and the Tabo part extruded toward the rear direction were emerged and prevailed. Baimage and Marumage styles which had hair expanded from side to side with both Bin"s set with accessories were prosperous in the latter years.<BR> 3. Hair ornaments allowed the coiffure styles of complicated structure a kind of unified beauty and showed high senses of beauty of women in the period. Combs, a tool used for combing the hair was not for ornament but fixed into the hair directly in the early days, but diversified in its forms and materials for ornament since the middle years. Kanzashi, the most gorgeous ornament among the fixings for tied hairdos was made for decorative purpose mainly in the early but it became to have practical purpose also after the appearance of ear-pick in its head. And its forms, materials and positions of fixing represent status and age of the person who wore it. Hairpin had a simple form of stick for making a topknot in the early days, and it developed into gorgeous ones which had separated parts of main in the center hidden in the hair and both sides for ornament made with several materials since the middle years.
가구설계 및 제조의 자동화를 위한 CAD/CAM 시스템의 개발

In this study, the CAD/CAM system for furniture design and manufacturing was developed for the purpose of increasing efficiency of manufacturing process that has attracted special interest recently.<br/> A drawing was made and a DXF file was generated by the existing AutoCAD. The AutoCAM that was developed in this study could read the DXF file from the AutoCAD and generated consecutively the NC program by selecting various elements and transmitted it to the CNC controller in the CNC router system. The CNC router system was successfully operated according to the NC program. The AutoCAM program was made by the QuickBASIC.<br/> As a result of the experiment, it is expected there are little difficulties in the application to the practical works.
이동환경에서 연속미디어 서비스를 위한 협력적인 프록시 캐슁

본 연구는 이동환경에서 연속 미디어 객체에 대한 사용자 요구들에 대하여 효율적으로 자원을 관리하기 위하여, 사용자의 이동성 정보를 반영하는 협력적 프록시 캐슁 정책을 제안한다. 제안된 정책은 담당영역 내에서 사용자의 요구들을 참조함으로서 캐슁하는 기존의 프록시 캐슁정책과는 다르게 인접한 영역의 많은 사용자 요구 정보들을 이용하여 캐슁 객체를 선택함으로써 이동환경에서 발생하는 사용자들의 랜덤 액세스 요구들을 충분히 반영할 수 있도록 한다. 그리고 제안된 캐슁 정책을 위해서 각 프록시에서 발생한 요구 정보의 가중치와 재생량을 기반으로 하는 재배치 기법을 제안한다. 그래서 객체단위와 세그먼트 단위로 재배치 기법을 수행하여 결과를 평가하고 캐슁 정책의 성능을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 이동환경에서 적절한 사용자의 이동성 비율이 협력적 캐슁의 성능에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인이 된다는 것을 알았다. This paper proposes a user's mobility based cooperative proxy caching policy for effective resource management of continuous media objects in mobile environments. This policy is different from the existing proxy caching policies in terms of how to exploit users' mobility. In other words, existing caching policies work based on the information about objects by referring to user's requests within a specified domain whereas the proposed caching policy runs by utilizing a number of user's requests across several domains. So, the proposed policy is applicable to random requests in mobile environments Moreover, we also propose a replacement policy based on weights and playback time. To check the efficiency of the proposed caching policy, the proposed replacement policy is run with different size of caching unit object or segment. The result of performance analyze tells what a ratio of user's mobility is are major factors for the efficient operation of the cooperative caching.
