In this study, we examined the standards for indoor fine dust concentration and investigate the design of an indoor air conditioning system that could remove indoor fine dust. Based on contents taken from the Nara Market Site, we collected, organized, and analyzed data on air purifiers and air circulators (the representative indoor air quality control systems). Additionally, we also investigated and analyzed the current status and statistics of the maintenance of school air quality control systems in Gyeonggi-Do. According to the current status of maintenance for school air quality management systems among 397 schools in Gyeonggi-do, this study found that air quality control measures were applied the most often in elementary schools, and that the MERV15 grade filter was used the most.
초음파 처리 조건에 따른 집락형 유해남조류 Microcystis 세포수 변화 연구

It is difficult to count colonial cyanobacteria Microcystis cells since the thickness of colonies is constrained by amorphous mucilage, making it impossible to estimate the number of cells. Disaggregation of Microcystis colonies into single cell is needed to improve the accuracy and precision of cell density estimation of naturally collected samples. Uultrasonic treatment method is commonly used owing to the simplicity and immediacy of the procedure. However, amplitude, frequency, and duration of ultrasonic treatment also cause cell loss during the experiment. Optimal ultrasonic treatment has not been standardized yet. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate optimal ultrasonic treatment by analyzing cell density and colony numbers. We collected colonial Microcystis from Changnyeong-Haman weir area in Nakdong River during harmful algal boom period from September to October in 2017. Ultrasonic treatment method was applied to disrupt colonies into single cells to enumerate cell density. Among treatment conditions, results from continuously treated for 100 seconds were found to be the optimum to reduce colonies to a suspension of single cell without cell losses under high and low density of Microcystis cells. Lugol iodine fixed cells followed by sonication showed less negative impact of cell damage within the optimal treatment time (100 seconds). Furthermore, disaggregated cells treated by sonication enables microscopic observation more easily since gas vacuoles were collapsed to facilitate sedimentation of cells under the counting chamber for quantitative enumeration of buoyant Microcystis cells.

The authors tried to look into the process of the individual psychotherapeutic experience of a 18-year-old male diagnosed as somatoform pain disorder or chronic pain syndrome. The patient had showed strong resistance to acceptance of his psychological problems. Some issues such as indications of psychotherapy for chronic pain, changing the mode of the treatment some problems around changing the therapist secondary gain and parents' attitude were discussed considering their relatedness to the outcome. The psychotherapy had lasted about 2 years and the result was estimated as fair.

Based on our previous research for the composition of hybrid dehumidification system using thermoelectric element, we performed the performance experiment and draw the control method for hybrid dehumidification system in this study. This system consists of the cooling dehumidification method using a thermoelectric element and the chemical dehumidification method using Super Desiccant Polymer. Three condition cases by indoor thermal environment were tested: in high temperature-high humidity, in middle temperature-high humidity, and in low temperature-high humidity. Through these experimental results, we proposed the control algorithm to effectively control the local moisture in the interior space.
스마트팜 적용 피복재의 시험을 통한 성능평가 및 냉방부하 분석

The thermal performance database of the covering material which can be used as input data for the smart farm cooling load simulation performance evaluation was analyzed through the test evaluation. Methods: The solar heat gain coefficient of the covering materials (PE, PMMA, PC double layer, woven film) was compared and analyzed through the Korean standard test method and input data was derived. Based on the thermal input data, the cooling load simulation of smart farm was conducted and the simulation performance evaluation of each case was performed to analyze how the indoor cooling load changes by covering materials. Results: The cooling load of the PC double layer was the lowest at 424 W/㎡, and the PE film was the highest at 559 W/㎡. The coefficient of heat transmission was 3.7 W/㎡ ·K~6.7 W/㎡ ·K for each covering materials, and the solar heat gain coefficient was evaluated as 54%~90% visible transmittance was 50%~88%. The cooling load of the PC double layer and PE film showed a difference of 135 W/m2(24%), indicating that the selection of the coating material greatly affects the cooling load. The cooling load was reduced by 25.3% when the cooling setpoint temperature was controlled, and the cooling load was reduced by 35.8% when the internal shading rate was applied by 60%.
Lugol’s Iodine Solution 첨가 후 보존 기간별 남조류 세포부피 변화 및 수축비를 이용한 생세포 부피 산정

The monitoring of phytoplankton biomass and community structure is essential as a first step to control the harmful cyanobacterial blooms in freshwater systems, such as seen in rivers and lakes, due to the process of eutrophication and climate change. In order to quantify the biomass of phytoplankton with a wide range in size and shape, the measurement of cell biovolume along with cell density is required for a comprehensive review on this issue. However, most routine monitoring programs preserve the gathered phytoplankton samples before analysis using chemical additives, because of the constraint of time and the number of samples. The purpose of this study was to investigate the cell biovolume change characteristics of six cyanobacterial species, which are common bloom-causing cyanobacteria in the Nakdong River, after the preservation with Lugol’s iodine solution. All species showed a statistically significant difference after the addition of Lugol’s iodine solution compared to the live cell biovolume, and the cell biovolume decreased to the level of 34.0 ~ 56.3 % at maximum in each species after the preservation. The nonlinear regression models for determining the shrinkage ratio by a preservation period were derived by using the cell biovolume measured until 180 days preservation of each target species, and the equation to convert the cell biovolume measured after preservation for a certain period to the cell biovolume of viable cell was derived using that formula. The conversion equation derived from this study can be used to estimate the actual cell biovolume in the natural environment at the time of sampling, by using the measured biovolume after the preservation in the phytoplankton monitoring. Moreover this is expected to contribute to the final interpretation of the water quality and aquatic ecosystem impacts due to the cyanobacterial blooms.
