The author was impressed by patients, magical expectation directed toward psychotherapist and their way of termination of therapy in that many of them simply stopped coming without notice. The author also introduced psychiatric residents training programms of SNUH.

Objectives: This study was executed to understand the factors related to utilization of smoking cessation support service among attempters for quitting smoking. Methods: The data of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in 2016-2017 was used for the analysis in this study. Logistic regression analysis was executed to understand the factors related to utilization of smoking cessation support service among attempters for quitting smoking. Results: the factors related to utilization of smoking cessation support service are daily average smoking amount, current electronic cigarette usage status and subjective health status and the anti-smoking attempters use the smoking cessation support service more in case of having more daily average smoking amount, using the electronic cigarette currently and having worse subjective health level. Conclusions: To increase the smoking cessation success rate of the attempters for quitting smoking, the strategy to make the anti-smoking attempters having lower usage rate of smoking cessation support service participate the smoking cessation support service more should be established.
Surgical Treatment for a Broken Acupuncture Needle in the Retroperitoneal Space: A Case Report

Acupuncture is a well-known traditional medical procedure in Korea and is being increasinglyused to treat various conditions including pain control, especially among the older generation. However, several problems related to acupuncture have been reported. A 27-year-old womanexpressed that she had back pain occurring despite her posture. She received acupuncturetherapy 2 months prior. We discovered a needle-shaped foreign material near the T12 vertebrabody in the retroperitoneum. We extracted 2 pieces of deteriorated broken needles bylaparoscopy. Postoperatively, the woman was discharged within 5 days with no complications. We report a patient that received laparoscopy with a full recovery afer having severe back paincaused by a broken needle which was stuck in the retroperitoneum.

Usage-based approaches to language acquisition explain language development as a gradual process of generalizing constructions through language experience. This study investigated second language learners’ development of constructional knowledge from the perspective of usage-based language development. A total of 169 Korean EFL students at five grade levels completed a sentence-sorting and a translation task. Results of the sorting task showed stronger constructional sorting as the learners’ grade level increased. Additionally, the sorting of intermediate-level learners was influenced by verb semantics such that the sentences including light verbs were more strongly clustered according to constructions than the sentences with heavy verbs, suggesting learners’ reliance on light verbs in the early stages of constructional development. Results of the translation task demonstrated a higher translation accuracy with increasing proficiency, but with a significant amount of variation across individual constructions contingent on the constructions’ syntactic and semantic complexity. Overall, our findings confirm the usage-based development of L2 learning.
접촉 불량에 의한 불꽃 및 직렬아크의 검출 기법에 관한 연구

This study is on the method of the detection for flame and series arc which can be happened at poor contact point added a vibration in part of contact point of low voltage line. In general, the causes of electric fire are over current, short circuit,poor contact, ect. The over-current or short circuit among those causes is detected by measuring a instant current value,but poor contact is difficult to detect by measuring a excessive value of the voltage and current and a distortion of waveforms. And therefore, in this paper, it is studied on the optimal technique of the arc judgement using fuzzy logic and MDET (Multi Dimension Estimation Technique). And it carries out the simulation for arc detection and the experiment for controller and load test. In result, the controller and detection algoristhm, is classified with normal wave and abnormal arc wave without relation with each loads and so the controller can detect a series arc successfully. 본 연구는 저압 선로의 접촉 부분에서 발생할 수 있는 접촉 불량과 그 부분의 진동이 결합될 경우 발생될 수 있는불꽃 및 직렬 아크를 검출할 수 있는 방법에 대한 것이다. 일반적으로 전기화재의 원인은 과전류, 단락, 접촉불량 등 여러 가지가 있을 수 있다. 이 중 과전류 및 단락 등은 선로에 흐르는 순간 전류량을 검출하여 감지할 수 있으나, 접촉불량은 전압, 전류값의 초과분 및 파형의 왜곡으로는 검출하기가 어려운 점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 퍼지논리 및다차원 기법을 이용하여 최적의 아크 판단 기법을 연구하고, 아크 검출 및 검증을 위한 모의실험과 제어기 실험 및 부하실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 제어기 및 검출 알고리즘이 여러 가지 부하와 상관없이 정상적인 부하의 파형과 아크 발생시의 파형을 구분하여 성공적으로 직렬아크를 검출하였다.
마그네슘 합금 판재(AZ31B)의 온도 및 성형속도에 따른 2D-draw 굽힘 특성 분석

Recently magnesium alloy sheet has been used as a lightweight material in transportation area. Warm forming is a forming method that improves formability and reduces springback. The magnesium alloy sheet has a characteristic that large difference of flow stress increases depending on strain rate at high temperature. These characteristics cause low dimensional accuracy of formed products. In this study, experiments were performed on the 2D-draw bending with respect to the temperature and forming speed in order to investigate the effects of strain rate and temperature. It was found that as the temperature increases, spinrgback of 2D-draw bending decreased and formability of AZ31B increased. Additionally, the effect of the punch speed was investigated. At 250°C, as the punch speed increased, the springback of 2D-draw bending decreased.
