As it has been well appreciated, the weld-induced deformation control is one of the most important issues from view point of efficiency in ship production. The weld-induced deformation is more serious in the case of thin plate block than in the case of relatively thick plate block, since, for example, heat affect zone of thin plates is wider than that of thick plates for the same heat input. Among weld-induced deformation, buckling deformation due to shrinkage and residual stress in weld line direction is one of the most serious deformation type. This paper is concerned with the controling the buckling deformation of thin plate fillet weld by applying the tensioning method. Weld experiments have been carried out for specimens with varying the magnitude and direction of tension load. The results are graphically represented to show the effect of tensioning method upon reducing the weld-induced deformation. From the present findings, its has been seen that tensioning method is one of the useful ways to control the weld-induced deformation of fillet weld of thin plates.

Welding process generates distortion and residual stress in the weldment due to rapid heating and cooling. Welding distortion and residual stress in the welded structure result in many troubles such as dimensional inaccuracies in assembling and safety problem during service. The accurate prediction of welding residual stress is thus very important to improve the quality of weldment and find the way to reduce itself. This paper presents the simulation of welding-induced residual stress analysis to examine the cause of cracking in the SUS-overlay welding specimen at FPSO Moon Pool structure.
지중 및 보조루프의 2차 유체 유량 분배비를 통한 하이브리드 지열히트펌프의 성능 최적화 연구

The objective of this study is to improve the performance of a hybrid ground source heat pump (HGSHP) by optimizing the flow distribution ratio of secondary fluid flow rate between a ground loop and a supplemental loop. Initially, a conventional ground source heat pump (GSHP) was tested to determine an optimum flow rate of the secondary fluid. Based on the selected optimum value, the HGSHP was also tested by varying the flow distribution ratio of the secondary fluid flow rate between the ground loop and the supplemental loop, such as 9:1, 7:3, 5:5, and 3:7. The results showed that the optimum flow distribution ratio of the secondary fluid flow rate was 7:3. The COP of the HGSHP was improved by 19% over the GSHP at a flow distribution ratio of 7:3 and an entering water temperature of 40℃.

In the construction project, Duration, cost, and the productivity affect to the success of the construction project, and the success or Failure is especially up to pre-design stage during whole life-cycle. So the system which supports the decision making of participants in the pre-design stage is required to systematize the process. This research is about developing the decision making support system at pre-design stage. To developing the system, existing papers and systems which deal with the pre-design process are analyzed. Based on this analysis, requisite modules are derived, and finally prototype system is developed. This system is expected to be used as a decision making support system, and also this research will be used as the resource for the other researches about BIM(Building Information Modeling)
하이브리드 지열히트펌프의 최적충전량에 관한 실험적 연구

The objective of this paper is to optimize the refrigerant charge amount for a Hybrid Ground Source Heat Pump(HGSHP) system comprising two refrigerant flow path for two condensing plate heat exchanger(PHEX) in the cooling mode. The HGSHP system was tested by varying refrigerant charge amount from 1800 g to 3000 g with the bypass flow path and no bypass flow path, while maintaining entering water temperature to the indoor heat exchanger and outdoor heat exchanger at 12℃ and 25℃ respectively. This charge test showed that the optimum charge amount was the same value regardless of flow path, but the influence of charge amount variation on the system COP in the case of bypass type flow path was higher than that of no bypass type flow path.
저전력 영상 특징 추출 하드웨어 설계를 위한 공통 부분식 제거 기법 기반 이미지 필터 하드웨어 최적화

본 논문은 저전력 영상 특징 추출 하드웨어 설계를 위한 공통 부분식 제거 기법 기반 이미지 필터 하드웨어 최적화 기법을 제안한다. 저전력 및 고성능 물체인식 하드웨어는 공장 자동화를 위한 산업용 로봇에 필수 모듈로 채택되고 있다. 따라서 물체인식 하드웨어의 영상 특징 추출 알고리즘에 다양하게 적용되는 Gaussian gradient 필터 하드웨어의 저면적 설계가 필수적이다. Gaussian gradient 필터의 하드웨어 복잡도를 줄이기 위해 필터에 사용되는 계수의 Symmetric한 특징과 Transposed form FIR 필터 하드웨어 구조를 이용했다. 제안된 이미지 필터의 하드웨어 구조는 알고리즘에 적용된 계수의 변형 없이 구현되었기 때문에 윤곽선 검출 알고리즘에 적용했을 때 검출 데이터의 열화 없이 구현될 수 있다. 제안된 이미지 필터 하드웨어 구조는 기존 구조와 비교했을 때 곱셈기의 수를 50% 절감할 수 있음을 확인했다. In this paper, image filter optimization method based on common sub-expression elimination is proposed for low-power image feature extraction hardware design. Low power and high performance object recognition hardware is essential for industrial robot which is used for factory automation. However, low area Gaussian gradient filter hardware design is required for object recognition hardware. For the hardware complexity reduction, we adopt the symmetric characteristic of the filter coefficients using the transposed form FIR filter hardware architecture. The proposed hardware architecture can be implemented without degradation of the edge detection data quality since the proposed hardware is implemented with original Gaussian gradient filtering algorithm. The expremental result shows the 50% of multiplier savings compared with previous work.
